Fantastic food and service! Professional waiters and great ambiance! Ask for Ryan, he’s the best!
I came here with a friend just by seeing it on the road. We were not expecting it to be as amazing as it was. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I had the halibut with feta and he had the shrimp Alfredo. Both of our meals were very satisfying. I will definitely be going back and telling others about this great find!
Great customer service and great food at this long time local Italian staple. I had Sausage Zingarella with peppers and mushrooms in marinara over pasta. I subbed the Marina for their Bolognese meat sauce.
This is "our place"! Someone's birthday? Going to Christo's. Someone got a raise? Going to Christo's! We come here again and again because the food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere cannot be beat for a family Italian restaurant. I'll always recommend this spot to anyone I meet.
Christo's was absolutely delicious, all meals came with bread, soup, and a salad. The service was also amazing and everyone was very kind and quick to get our food and clean up the plates for your next plate to come. Overall I definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for delicious Italian food!
WOW! This place is beautiful and has amazing food. Everything was delicious and our Server was great. I had a Veal Chop and it was cooked the Italian way, grilled! My husband had the Sea Bass and Dinners come with soup and salad as well as hot Bread! Get a cocktail and a Bottle or glass of wine! Enjoy!
Looking for a quiet, family owned neighborhood restaurant with decades of making people feel at home with great food, great drink and an unassuming presence - well except for the wonderful white table clothes? Christo’s delivers.
One of my favorite restaurants and never disappoints.. This is my fourth time going this time. It was my birthday. The seafood chipino is my favorite and a nice bottle of wine. Always great service and delicious food.I just love this place
Holy Cow! Make reservations for this place and do not miss out on what they have to offer. One of the best Italian restaurants in all of the travels I have done. Michelle was an amazing server that was on top of everything. Make sure to ask for her if you can. You will be extremely happy with that decision. Now on to the food, wow, wow, WOW. If you are a fan of Italian prepared food than do not miss the fresh sauce, fresh cut mozzarella, amazing Caesar, pay extra for it and the veal was over the top. I can’t express how much I was impressed by this off the main strip restaurant. If you overlook this location, then you are missing out to what the locals know.
Calamari appetizer and soup were our favorite. Salad was good, but dressing was a little odd for me with mustard in it. I am a Veal fan. The Veal was amazing but the overall flavor of the Veal Parm was a little bland. We really like the atmosphere. It was elegant but had that Cheers feel. Service was 5 star. We will go back.
My favorite Italian restaurant in Phoenix. The service is always great, the food is fantastic and the wine and desserts are on point. Went there last night with my husband for our dating anniversary and everything was perfect.
Everything was delicious from the coffee to the pasta 😋.... all in the party were raving about their dish
This HAS BEEN our most favorite Phoenix Continental cuisine 40 years here ! Always "a special date" night to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Waiter Scot is upbeat & friendly -without being pushy ! NEVER had a poor quality meal > the sauces make eating a JOY ! PLEASE COME to relax & have a great meal.
Maybe the best lamb I ever ate. I like it well done, and they make it the best. Good lounge music 🎶 Thank you. I’ll be back.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, authentic and tasty Italian food. Loved the professional waiters experience.... The Ciuppino was amazing, served over pasta vs just sauce... the Ceasar salad was tasty, using real anchovies. A must try.
This restaurant was great. Food was awesome, service was top notch. I took my wife for her Birthday. The waiter overheard us talking about her birthday and he brought out a dessert for her with a candle on it. Dinner came with a soup and salad. Borh were fantastic. The table bread was great, it went well with the soup. Main dish was so delicious. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. I ordered the Chicken Maria.
Love this place! Yes we piled the freshly grated cheese on top but it only added to the deliciousness that was already there. Not an Alfredo sauce fan but the waitress insisted that it was "the best Alfredo sauce in town" and she was right! Made me mad I hadn't ordered anything Alfredo, definitely have to go back. Also the limoncello cake was so good! I don't know what was sweater though, the cake or the waitress, she definitely took my fiend and I on a food journey. She was so friendly and truly loves the food she's serving.
What a Fantastic time me and my Guest had, no reservation on a Saturday evening and Mike and their Staff where very accommodating in finding us a table. Kathy our Server was exceptional as well as all Serving staff! Well done! I have an Airbnb and have recommend Christo's to all my Guests that stay! Was back after a years absence, and truly enjoyed it again! Louis M.
Wow! A sweet friend gave us a gift card to this treasure. We'd never been here before so this was a real treat! The staff were very friendly and seemed to really know so many of the customers...like they were regulars. Our glass of water was never empty for long as the wait staff were very attentive! The food was...Amazing!
Fall restaurant week starts here! The staff is welcoming like you're family. Their menu was unique and the portions are well worth the price. We took our dessert home. 1st time here and looking forward to returning.
High quality food, great service. Consistently good for the decade or more I have been going there. Prices are creeping up a bit but still one of the best values around. Ordered the veal piccata at the waiter’s recommendation that it was the best in town. He was not lying. It is how hard to describe how perfect the veal piccata was. Generous portion, cooked perfectly, juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor through the last bite. I have never had a bad meal at Christo’s, but I am not sure I will be able to order another dish again. The veal piccata comes with a side of vegetables, which were solid, and soup and salad. The tomato cream soup was freshly made and really good. The salad was good with a house made mustard vinaigrette. The waiter was old school and very friendly and provided excellent service along with the busboy. Really solid old school Italian joint even though I think the owners might be Greek.
This is a family owned Italian place, everyone is so nice and welcoming. The ambiance is great with lot of room inside. Good selection of drinks. For dinner entree comes with soup and salad. The food is delicious. I would recommend this place. We had a good time.
Celebrated my birthday dinner here in April. This place has been on my bucket list for awhile now. Heard only good things and they're all spot on. The food was wonderful. Our server, Salvatore or Santino, has been there over 20 years and his service was impeccable. Had to get used to the lighting but that's about it. The entire dining experience was flawless. Their Escargot Bourgogne is tied for the best I've ever had. I am so coming back as often as I can! If you haven't been here yet, put it on your list. I promise you won't regret it!
Fantastic food and service. My husband and I have been coming here for our dating anniversary for over 5 years now and it's amazing every time. Highly reccomend!!
Absolutely amazing l, took our grampa out for lunch. We will definitely come back here. The busser guy was amazing. On point. No empty glasses. Empty plates were removed as soon as they were empty. Thanks for a great lunch. Can't wait for our next outing, dinner menu for sure.
From the minute we walked in till the time we left, we were treated like royalty. We were greeted by the owner (or manager) and taken to our table. I had the absolute best halibut i've ever had in my 60 yrs of existence. And the staff respectfully served the ladies first....A lost art. Thank you for that! Everyone loved the food and service. Phenomenal! Absolutely wonderful experience!
If I could give this place ten stars I would! We love it here! The food is always fantastic, the cocktails are perfect, literally the best ive ever had. The dessert is decadent. I could go on & on about how amazing this place & the dining experience is. Always at top of the recommendation list. Can't wait to go back! ☺️
Lovely experience, and the service was first class. We ordered the Sausage Zingarella and the Angel Hair Pomodora, and both were very good. Our dinner included soup, salad, fresh bread & frozen butter. It was a our first visit and the complimentary desert was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend Christo's, and we will most certainly be back.
Christo's is at least a twice a month choice for me and my partner. Their food is absolutely unmatched, their service is amazing, and the environment is always so welcoming. Their soup and salad with every entre is brilliant and the home made dressing should be bottled and sold. Their lemon rice soup is the absolute best, and no matter what: get a side of the gnocchi.
Very, very good!! Hospitaly is great, probably the best I've seen for a long long time. Food is excellent and prices are fair! Different a repeat coming
Mike is the guy! Sit at the bar or a table in the bar area during the day. He gets it. Mike brings that service. Hand makes our cocktails. Takes our orders by memory. And accommodates the "special" requests. It's a do not miss situation.
Went with a large group for our holiday party. A couple of us had salmon that was a bit under cooked, but still good. I was impressed at the scotch collection!
6 of us attended dear friend’s 60th Anniversary Dinner tonight. Christos is their only Go To for Special Occasions. This was our first time here. Complement the ‘Old School’ Italian Fine Dining: Waiters, Table Cloth covered tables, Tony Bennett background music, great special dishes and Wine list. Dinner was at 5pm with many regulars strolling in around 6. Best Potato Soup and Salad starter I’ve had in a long time. All entrees cooked and presented perfectly. Desserts excellent, finished with fresh Hot Coffee to top off a fine dinner. Only complaint was the Bread. Too Hard crust and center. Even the next table complained how hard it was. We will be back but I do love a good bread!
Food was incredible. Fantastic service, courses came out in a natural flow that wasn’t imposing. Pricing was more than reasonable. We were able to get a 7:30 reservation on a Friday night an hour beforehand.
Love visiting Christo's for lunch. Great food and service. The soups are always delicious and so are the entrees. Great atmosphere for a lunch meeting as well.
This place is wonderful. Its a really nice place. I felt like I was a little more casual dressed than most. However, they treated me with respect and sat me down quickly. Every staff member was extremely friendly. The food was amazing. I highly recommend this place.
It's been a decade since I've been to Christo's and it's brilliance is continued. A fantastic and attentive experience from the moment we opened the door. We were there celebrating my daughter in laws birthday. They gave her a personalized card signed by the staff, so sweet! The ambience is old world and the food was fairly priced and delicious! We'll be back!
We had not been in this restaurant for about seven years. It was one of our favorite. But a little disappointed last night. It was our anniversary which we told them when we made our reservation. They sat us in the bar which was quite noisy. We ordered wine and and stuffed mushrooms. Our server was the bartender, she had a full bar. I felt rushed when she came for our order. When we were served our mushrooms which were luke warm. I ordered the Sea Bass, again luke warm on a bed of spinach which was cold with a side of fettuccine the only item that was hot. I will give the Sea Bass it's due, it was very tender and tasty. In the past if we wanted a nice dinner out this was our choice. But they have changed and I don't think I'll be back.
The restaurant week was amazing. Excellent food, descent service, and dessert was exceptional. Overall 4 stars 🌟
Christo’s has been serving the valley since 1987 A staple in the Phoenix area you’ll find this neighborhood gem. A casual dining experience, excellent customer service and home cooked Italian food. Best served at a table with great company, sharing the same food experiences. 😋 What a great evening 🥂 Thank you @christosristorante for your hospitality. 🤝🏽 📍 6327 N 7th St Phoenix AZ 85014
The restaurante has a romantic style and petty is wide, the portions of the food are so big, it include a salad an a soup of the day you just have to chose your main dish, they have a good variety of wines and dishes, the services was a little slow but still good. Tasty is good. The only thing that I'd say is the toilets needs a little more attention.
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a new restaurant that has quickly become a favorite of mine. I visited with my girlfriend and we opted to sit at the bar. The happy hour menu was impressive and lasted until 7 o’clock, providing a fantastic selection of bites at a great value. We were attended by two wonderful waitresses, Misha and Kat, who were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. As a nice surprise, they treated us with a few complimentary items for being new guests, which added a lovely personal touch to our experience. The restaurant was a bit busy, which speaks volumes about its popularity, so I would recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a spot. The ambiance, coupled with the attentive service from the entire staff, created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. With delicious food and exceptional service, it's definitely worth a visit!
This was our first time in Phoenix and in this restaurant. We had an enjoyable dinner. Portions are large and our linguine with white clam sauce was very tasty. All main dishes come with a small cup of soup and a salad. The soup was nothing special and the salad had too much dressing for our personal taste. The chocolate/vanilla mousse was delicious.
What a great little place. We are happy to find this awesome family owned Italian restaurant Nestle the in a strip mall in Phoenix. The service was prompt, informative, and friendly. We really enjoyed the muscles, and the complimentary bread was on point. I enjoyed the chicken parm. My wife enjoyed whatever she ate, I can't remember. Definitely recommend coming back to this location when I'm in town.
Christo’s has been on our “you have to go” list for 20+ years, and we finally made it in tonight—clearly we weren’t the only ones taking our time. As we walked in, a patron heading out smiled and said, “It’s definitely worth the wait.” After dinner, I get why. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, the atmosphere is warm and classic, and the service is genuinely exceptional—especially impressive for a place that’s been doing it for nearly 40 years. Shout out to our server, Michelle, who was outstanding: attentive, polished, and perfectly timed. Service is tops in my book. Food-wise, it delivered. Our soup, salad, and entrées were absolutely delicious, and the limoncello cake was off the charts. A few small tweaks would easily push this into five-star territory. The cocktails weren’t quite dialed in: my wife’s lemon drop martini tasted more like an instant mix than a properly crafted cocktail, and my old fashioned lacked the details that matter (a big cube and a more classic build—skip the orange liqueur). The wine list, though, is quite nice and surprisingly reasonably priced. All in, I’d absolutely recommend Christo’s for a great meal—excellent food, a terrific room, and truly standout service. We’ll be back.
Went for family birthday dinner, had planned to go somewhere else but not able to get reservations. Christos turned out to be a good alternative although we had to wait to be seated. Good selection of specials as well as on the normal menu. Prices very reasonable and good service.
Food is always very good, and the staff gives good service and has been there for a while. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, but could use a refresh and update. Parking is limited.
Place is set up like a traditionally fancy Italian place. Very friendly & attentive staff. Wine selection was ok. What I had tasted a little grocery store is, table bread was nothing unique. Duck a'l'orange was half a duck...breast was delicious. Leg was pretty burnt creating a jerky-type texture. Vegetables seemed to be steamed...would have like a seasoned roast or a bit of season on them.
In the 25 years I've lived in Phoenix today was the first time I felt discrimination. What was supposed to be an enjoyable lunch with an old friend had me feeling very uncomfortable. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me, I stood by the front door for 10 minutes before anyone asked if I had been helped despite staff walking past me and failed to acknowledge me. Once I was seated with my friend, I noticed that every time the server came to our table he directed all his attention to my friend, making small talk and asked her how her food was, as if she was the only person sitting at the table. When we were done, she asked for two to go containers and when he returned he tossed one on the table and proceeded to box her food and kindly invited her to come back and see them. I must say I was extremely disappointed with the service I received and would not recommend this establishment to any minorities as you will not be treated as an equal nor respected. Very disheartening.
paid $310 for decent overpriced food, average service at best. To then sit for over 30 minutes for a check. Our server was sat 4 tables at once while we were waiting for our check one of those tables had a party over 12. This restaraunt’s prices do not reflect its ambiance, food, and service! This was our family’s third time trying this restaraunt… we finally learned our lesson.
