Leggermente fuori dal centro, questo ristorantino dispone di due piccole sale (quella al piano inferiore più riservata). La qualità della carne è davvero ottima. Noi abbiamo mangiato sia la tartare che una fiorentina da più di un chilo e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Ottima la carta dei vini. Personale davvero gentilissimo.

Assolutamente fantastico! La mia partner ed io abbiamo visitato il Ristorante Le Volte a Firenze e abbiamo avuto un'esperienza davvero piacevole. Il proprietario Leonardo ci ha accolto con grande ospitalità e il suo atteggiamento gentile e disponibile ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La fiorentina che abbiamo ordinato era semplicemente deliziosa: succulenta e perfettamente cotta, accompagnata da un olio di prima qualità, biologica, che ha aggiunto il giusto tocco di sapore. Abbiamo accompagnato il nostro pasto con un Montalcino consigliato da Leonardo, che si è rivelato essere una scelta eccellente. Inoltre, non possiamo non menzionare la giovane età dell'oste, che nonostante la sua giovanezza ci ha mostrato una grande conoscenza e passione per il cibo e il vino della regione. Nel complesso, abbiamo trascorso un pomeriggio, quello del ponte del 25, indimenticabile al Ristorante Le Volte e lo consigliamo vivamente a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza culinaria di alta qualità accompagnata da un servizio eccezionale. Grazie ancora a Leonardo e al suo staff per aver reso il nostro pomeriggio così speciale. Spero di venirlo a ritrovare!!

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata in questo posto a Firenze . Mi ero ripromesso che prima di ripartire per Roma avrei voluto mangiare un po' di " Ciccia " fatta per bene e sono stato ampiamente accontentato. I camerieri molto preparati e disponibili, la "Ciccia " troppo buona. Lo consiglio vivamente!!

Cosa dire....tutto eccezionale e perfetto!!! Locale piccolino ma caratteristico e con cura nei dettagli, staff gentile e sorridente, cibo pazzesco! È stata una piacevole scoperta che non vediamo già l'ora di riprovare!!!

Ottima esperienza di cucina fiorentina. Siamo stati accolti, seguiti e consigliati in ogni momento della cena: dalla scelta del taglio di carne, al vino fino al dessert. Personale molto professionale e capace di trasmettere la cultura culinaria del luogo. È stata più che una cena, un'esperienza sensoriale (e, dal prezzo tutto sommato contenuto nonostante il costo della carne). Da riprovare.

Ristorante consigliatissimo per gentilezza e preparazione dei proprietari giovani e molto gentili! Il ragazzo spiegava il vino scelto a tutti i tavoli ed era un piacere sentirlo. Qualità cibo ottima, per niente turistico in una zona molto bella sicuramente frequentata da Fiorentini. Carne che si scioglie in bocca! Se dovessi tornare a Firenze ci si rivede!

Ottima Il ristorante non è grandissimo, ma è davvero una PERLA, un GIOIELLO . e' un pò lontano dal centro città di Firenze, ma è meglio cosi, perchè sarò meno affollato e meno confusionario. Mi piace perchè non è uno di quei posti per turisti, e qui si può assaggiare la VERA FIORENTINA, mantendo un rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Fanno cucina sia di antipasti, primi secondi e dolce. Se si alloggia in centro si può arrivare a piedi, però consiglio sempre sempre di PRENOTARE !!! è SEMPRE PIENO !! Ogni volta che vengo a Firenze, mangio qui. Ho mangiato sia a pranzo che ad una cena, e ovviamente mi sono trovato meglio di sera perchè mangiare una fiorentina a pranzo, poi a passeggiare per Firenze non è proprio il massimo con la pancia strapiena. Davvero bel posto !

5 stelle meritatissime. Squadra giovane super approvata, tutti sempre sorridenti, disponibili anche alla battuta e molto preparati. Fiorentina di ottima qualità e cotta alla perfezione. La carne, a quanto c'è scritto sul menù, è scelta dal padre del titolare, gestore di una macelleria della zona... l'esperienza sul piatto e al palato emerge tutta. Anche il burger con burrata ottimo. Furba la proposta di vini, peraltro ampia, suddivisa in base alla corposità, così da facilitare la scelta. Ecco, unica cosa i contorni, tutti ottimi (io ve lo dico, ritornerei anche solo per quelle meravigliose patate al forno), ma non si può per 5€ a contorno proporre una ciotolina con 3 cucchiaiate scarse di zucchine.

Piccolo ma estremamente carino il posto, ma piatti cucinati, presentati e serviti alla grande ! Una bistecca da 1,6kg perfetta per quanto riguarda la cottura e la tipologia di carne. I ragazzi/e tutti carini, simpatici e molto professionali. Leonardo poi, molto giovane ma grande conoscenza. Grazie per la bella cena soprattutto non banale ! Ambiente amichevole e famigliare. Accolti subito dal cameriere ci ha portati al tavolo e fatti sentire a casa. I prodotti nel tagliere di ottima qualità, formaggi buonissimi. Ma i primi, un qualcosa di veramente pregevole per il palato. Prossima gita a Firenze tornerò sicuramente.

What an incredible restaurant! Its been about 10 days since we ate at Le Volte, but I am still thinking pleasant memories of the food! We we're deciding on where to go for our last dinner in Florence, we immediately, simultaneously, said Le Volte. Mind you, that in the 3 weeks that we were in Italy, we did not patronize any restaurant more than once for dinner, gotta try them all! Although all the places we ate at, had been really good experiences, Le Volte was outstanding for the quality of food, highlighted by a super staff. Besides enjoying great top notch skills from Chef and cook, our dining experience was very well supported by two different server teams. Everyone had the same exceptional work effort to make the dining experience the best for the customers. Our knowledge of Bistecca alla Fiorentina had been limited to youtube and other internet sites so the servers were very helpful in recommending the meal plan [subtle 5W1H ;)]. The servers were definitely spot on! They recommended the hot grill in case we thought it would be too rare but we could remove to our plates if it was acceptable. Easy right? After the fist bites, we pulled the cuts so that they wouldn't cook any further except for the bone. We tried different ways as suggested, plain, with a little bit of olive oil, chased by some red wine. The meat was incredible any which way, YMMV but plain was the most flavorful for meat/beef lovers - the post seasoning, salt flakes and rosemary were enhancing and well suited for this style. (Sorry Guga, you should have eaten here ;) ) Being rare did not equate like in the States where it would have been "chewey" in most cases. This is better than the USDA Prime and dry aged. Chef selected awesome quality beef, cut to weight, and prepared it perfectly to temp. Not greasy at all, only delicious and tender. Compared to A5, NY, etc. This cut and style is our favorite now. There might be some bias due to the great staff so let's say Le Volte showed us some of the best of Florence! Chef has some fabulous insider help for a top beef supplier as the slabs looked like some of the best after seeing lots of other places around town. Sadly, due to the beef sourcing availability in the States, Florentine style would be a dream. Only trip here can satisfy the need. Anyways, the servers cautioned us about not over ordering as the cuts ranged from 1.3kg to 1.7kg as more can be ordered later if we were still hungry. Definitely one of those times having a bottomless pit for a stomach and Warren Buffet's wallet would have been nice ;) Contucci and Vin Santo concluded excellent meals. We were fortunate to happily experience two nights of Florence's traditions here. Sure, lemoncello is a great Italian tradition but they have bottles all over the States, we even ate a restaurant called Lemoncello near Rochester, NY, lol. Luckily we can have ice cold, no ice lemoncello after dinner anytime almost anywhere. Bistecca alla Fiorentina and the experience? Only in Florence and especially at Ristorante Le Volte Firenze! The only minus, more seating needed as the restaurant can fill up fast. Reservations are easy using their web site. People were waiting outside before the restaurant opened! Yes, we are suffering from Italian food withdrawals, to say the least :) Arrivederci!

We had the most delicious dinner and wine at Le Volte - one of the best in San Frediano beautiful neighbourhood in Florence. Bistecca alla Fiorientina was amazingly cooked served on a hot grill. Amazing gem of a restaurant—the most memorable meal of our trip! The pastas were all SO delicious (I will be dreaming about it) and the Florentine steak was just incredible. It’s very rare so you have the option to have it served on a hot plate to cook it more thoroughly. The atmosphere is also lovely and I felt so relaxed. 100% recommend!

This is the meal that I will forever remember from our trip to Italy. Everything, from the wine to the service to the food, was top notch. We started with two appetizers, then had two pasta dishes, and finally the Florentine steak. The food was creative, but classic, with high-quality ingredients and incredible flavors. le Volte was another fabulous meal in San Frediano… the Crostini appetizer with lard and truffles was amazing. It melted in your mouth. The steak with balsamic and pecorino over rocket was excellent. The ambience was quaint but not a mood atmosphere….Loved this little place. Everyone was really nice and welcoming, …really enjoyed our server and the food was definitely worth putting on your list. We loved it.

Ridiculously good. Best steak I've ever had. They brought out the raw cut for us to look at first, which was a nice touch, and it came back cooked and seasoned to perfection. Pasta dishes were also incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and calm. Wanted to come back for more a later day but regrettably ended up at I'Brindellone nearby instead—avoid that place at all costs and go here instead! These guys know how to make a Florentine steak, unlike their hyped-up neighbours next door.

Newish place opened by two young, very friendly and super professional guys. Our service was just TOP, he really took care of us. All dishes are traditionally Italian/Tuscan but with some sort of interesting twist. They are presented with thought and creativity, beautiful! The dishes also felt clean, healthy. Location intima Oltrarno. Pochi tavoli, molta cortesia e tanti sorrisi. Menu che abbraccia nuove proposte coniugate alla cucina tipica fiorentina. Consigliata la guancia, abbinata ad un Chianti riserva su indicazione del personale. Prezzi non di fascia bassa, ma apprezzabile qualità. Scelta adatta per un momento lontano dal tipico chiasso del centro, ma nel solco della tradizione.

Questo posto si salva solo grazie alla simpatia di Ilenia, cameriera, al servizio eccellente e a una bistecca buona. Piccolo ristorante all’interno del borgo di San Frediano. Buona la bruschetta con il lardo e il tartufo nero. Buona anche la tagliata con il tartufo bianco, anche se ne avrei gradito un po’ di più. Molto bello e caratteristico. Cameriera gentilissima e molto preparata sia sui vini che sui piatti. Il menù non è molto esteso, ma garantisce qualità. Non adatto forse a chi non ama la carne, in quanto la maggior parte dei piatti si basa su quello, ma è normale essendo tipico toscano. Per chi magari è vegetariano ci sono gli gnudi toscani, che io ho preso, particolari e caratteristici. Il luogo è stato sfruttato bene, per quanto piccolino ci sono molti tavoli e l'aria non è pesante.

Good food if you order the right thing. Our appetizer and dessert were very good, gnocchi was also good. The artichoke carbonara was not made according to Rome's standard. Le 3 stelle, sono perché ci presentano una fiorentina da grammi 1100 e alla cassa ci fanno pagare una fiorentina da grammi 1500, qualche grammo in più ci può stare, ma 400 mi sembrano un po' eccessivi anche perché equivalgono ad €20... Avrei voluto lasciare la mancia, ma se la son presa da soli...

Purtroppo la mia prima esperienza in questo localino consigliatomi da altri non ha trovato il mio apprezzamento. La tartare non è una tartare ma un macinato preparato per polpette. Stra condito e di una consistenza difficile da mangiare cruda. Lasciata per 3/4 e sostituita ordinando un pane ,lardo e tartufo:buono e gustoso. Bistecca bella di aspetto ma dopo cotta si rivela troppo nervosa e difficile da tagliare e piena di grasso:molti pezzi avevano veramente solo grasso e pochissima carne. La scelta dello chef di salarla e peparla a sua discrezione si è rivelata troppo condita e coprente il sapore della "ciccia". Servizio normale. Il locale piccolo sarebbe pure accogliente per chi ama il rustico ma il maleodore delle fosse biologiche ha penalizzato parecchio. In sostanza esperienza negativa.

This was my last meal in Florence… and I feel really angry. I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to order the T-bone steak. First of all, I can handle strong alcohol .in China I drink baijiu with 56% alcohol, so it’s definitely not about the alcohol content. But I have to say, the waiter was really unprofessional. My boyfriend and I ordered a medium-rare T-bone steak. The first piece was absolutely amazing, the second one was still fine, but from the third piece onward, it was completely overcooked ,you could hardly see any red left. I think at the very least, the waiter should have told us that if u wanted it to stay medium-rare, u needed to remove all the steak from the hot plate right away. I had to keep adding olive oil and tried drinking white wine to find some balance, but the wine was too dry for me (and I had already asked for the sweetest one). My boyfriend then told them I wanted a Limoncello to cut through the greasiness. In Italy, every Limoncello I’ve had was served cold, but this one clearly wasn’t. I could strongly taste the alcohol, which was ridiculous. When I mentioned it to them, they said no one had ever complained about the temperature of their Limoncello before. I’m so speechless . I took one bite of the steak and then a sip of the Limoncello and my face instantly twisted in pain so much that my boyfriend started laughing at me. He’s Spanish… but after taking a sip himself, he also went silent. The alcohol taste was just too strong. I clearly told the waiter that I wanted Limoncello because I needed something acidic to balance out the overcooked, greasy steak. Honestly, even a simple glass of lemon water would have been better than that Limoncello. I have no complaint about the chef, but I truly unhappy with the waiter he didn’t offer any useful advice . We finished the meal only because I’ll be very busy tomorrow and won’t have time to eat much. I repeat I have no complaint about the chef ,but spending €80 per person for this was just terrible. I’m agree everyone will make some mistakes. Im really fine with it but when I told u what I feel about the steak what I want ….as a waiter u should really treat it seriously not only say sorry but at least do sth …..

I specially walked several kilometers to come here to have the T-bone steak, but I was greatly disappointed! First of all, the service was terrible. A young man served us with a sullen face and a fake smile throughout. My English is not very good, and he was impatient and spoke very fast, as if he was just trying to finish the task rather than serve us. I had some questions, but he was unwilling to explain much. So why should I pay the service charge? ！ This is not aimed at other staff members, they are very friendly. The second issue is the T-bone steak. The meat quality is just so-so. Even when it's medium-rare, it's still tough and lacks flavor. I couldn't finish it after a few bites. In short, I don't recommend it!
