People who told me to come and try it were right! It's delicious! Super friendly staff. It was just me, between working hours, but they catered to me as if I was with a full table! I stared at the menu with my mouth watering! Too many delicious choices! Give it a try! And if you have a picky eater that won't eat seafood, their other options look amazing, too! If you are lucky, you'll hear some music too! I came for lunch on a Saturday

I went in on a Sunday morning. I called ahead to check on wait time. They assured me there was no wait and were really friendly over the phone. I arrived and no wait at all. Everyone works in a really fast fashion and they’re all so friendly. A lot of seating space, great drinks and food. I ordered chilaquiles only vegetarian option I found on menu. The papas and beans were delicious. The house salsa is to die for, I haven’t had one like it yet. Oh and let’s not forget the michelada was the best.

Food was great!! Your dining comes with chips and salsa. Our server was very attentive the restaurant was well kept. All the seafood that we ate were very fresh. The raw shrimp and fish were not fishy at all.

Top choice seafood Maxican Restaurant. We found it on YouTube and went there two time during our three days stay in Tucson. We have been compared this Restaurant with others that has similar rating Maxican food place . This one is the number one choice. Reasonable priced and very clean environment. They offer more seafood options and food is delicious

Honest and fair review. This is the best marisco restaurant I’ve ever been to ever. The place is very clean and very nice inside. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I had a michelada and it’s definitely one of the best I’ve had. I also had the toritaco and the maleficio and the sea food was fresh and portions are huge. My daughter got the tostada de aguachile and she made three tostadas from one. The waiter was very nice too. I highly recommend this place.

This place was very delicious and the prices were fair. The restaurant itself looks clean and welcoming. I forgot to snap pictures of my food, but I had their Tostada Super Baja Mar. It was stacked and I was able to make 3 tostadas out of it. I also tried the shrimp capeado taco and the taco mixto. Te tacos dió come with 2 tortillas and are served with slaw. Everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly as well. I'll definitely be back and I will take pictures of what I order.

Mariscos Bajamar food is good but the service is average or maybe below average. We ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada, a taco grande and toritaco. The ceviche is ok but not by itself, you have to add lime, salt and hot sauce to make it good; the taco grande was very good but a bit dry (lot's of food) and the toritaco was ok. Hard time getting refills and food took a long time to be served.

My mom and I had a blast having our lunch at Baja Mar, which was highly recommended by my hairdresser. It was such an experience. The ambience and food were great. Best food we’ve been to in Tucson for an Authentic Mexican cuisine. The only thing was that I got charged for a dish that I canceled repeatedly from two of the service attendants. I speak little to no spanish, I recommend using google translate. I didn’t think of it until after the fact.

The best Mexican food we’ve ever had in Tucson. We had whole fried fish and grilled fish with green sauce. Both of these came with rice, corn tortillas, fries, and salad. They also served chips and salsa when we got into the restaurant. The chips and salsa was too good that we wanted to order another one! The server was friendly and checked us couple times if the food was good. One thing to give 4 star is that they have some loud music playing on. We will definitely go there again.

At first glance, the restaurant looked very promising. I ordered battered fish and shrimp taco, as well as a carne asada taco. Fish taco was like having frozen fish sticks. The shrimp taco tasted like it was another frozen food you get at the grocery store. The carne asada was overcooked and burnt. The tacos had like 4 corn tortillas cause they were falling apart. Overall, it's not a good experience. We will not be returning.

I frequently get food delivery from many places. This is one of the very few places where I've gotten food poisoning from and I noticed that this is not the first time that they are accused of this. I hope they improve their food handling to make sure that their food is safe for their customers. To be fair I also had food from another restaurant that same day but the other restaurant I have gotten food from them many times and been okay so I suspect the main cause was this restaurant.
