I eat at Peralta’s every time I visit Pittsburg. The food is awesome and the staff is just the best. My two favorite dishes are the shrimp quesadillas and the cheese chille rellanos. The guacamole is simply delicious, too. The employees have never failed to make me feel appreciated.

The food is always good, the service is quick and attentive. We always go to eat there when at workshops at Region 8. They get your food out so promptly that you have plenty of time to eat and make it back to your workshop on time.

Very great tex-mex food. A little more authentic than normal tex-mex which is a bonus. By far the best salsa you will ever have and the chips taste homemade and original. This is a must stop for us.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We got the steak burrito, beef fajita quesadillas, and cheese enchiladas. Would recommend anything. The server was very attentive and took care of us very well. We will definitely be back.

WOW! We had their lunch special for only $5.99 today. It was two hardshell beef tacos with beans and rice with chips and salsa. Great place, quick friendly service, and great food at a really great price. I highly recommend this place if you are in Pittsburg, TX.

Always a great experience. Service is nice, friendly and fat. Food is the best Mexican in town, with both Tex-Mex and some authentic Mexican.

It is great during the week and good on the weekends. Must have a different cook. Waiters and waitresses are very attentive.

I have eaten here two times within the last year. Both times were okay. I may come across a bit critical but mexican food is my favorite. I've eaten a lot of different styles from across the US as well as in Mexico. For me Peralta's is right in the middle. It is a cross between Tex-Mex and American style Mexican food. Meaning: The food is a bit bland for those that don't do spicy or strong flavors, but also the right amount of flavor that you can add a little salt and salsa to kick it up a notch. Pros: •Salsa has good flavor, heat and consistency *more on the medium-hot side than mild •The queso sauce is on point •Food is quick to be served. Cons: •Chips are either pre packaged or prepared too far in advance. *Too many crumbled pieces •Servers are more like order takers. They are nice and prompt but nothing above or beyond. Recommendation for Servers: ( I'm just trying to help your tips $$$) Smile, If the person you are waiting on has dined before, welcome them back. If you've never seen them, welcome them to Peralta's introduce yourself and give a recommendation. Could be your favorite dish or any specials. Ask them for their drink order and give a moment to review the menu. A little bit goes a long way.

Better ask price when they say up charge it definitely up and the hot sauce is not good. Won't be back.

Wow, surprised after getting overcharged on "large guacamole"! I love this restaurant, food and service. But for the first time I ordered a large guacamole, it was VERY DISAPPOINTING, 4 small scoops (like watermelon ball scoops). Then to kind of disguise the embarrassment of a the portion, they throw on some onions and tomatoes. I travel the US and eat Mexican food all the time, in addition to ordering guacamole. This was the smallest portion I have EVER received, and then they charged $9.00. Last nights waitress was awesome and the food was great. I will never order their guacamole again.

All texmex, we thought it was going to be homemade as suggested but it isn't. The rice had hard bits in it, everything else was subpar. Service was good, staff were friendly.

Terrible food... Spent $47 for takeout and had to throw most of it out it was so bad.

I went here the other day and the waiter checked on us for our order and brought us our food. He never came back. I needed ketchup, had to get up and walk around the restaurant to find it myself. The waiter was out on the porch the whole time. There was no one at the register. There was literally no one in the restaurant but me and my guest (No other customers and no employees). This was the oddest dining experience ever. My burger also had a strange taste like perhaps the meat was starting to turn bad. My guest's beans were super cold.

Well I will start by saying, Go Somewhere Else. I never give a bad review but this place was a total waste of money. From the tomato puree for salsa to the poor service. We ordered 3 different meals and you can just look at the pictures, most people would have sent it back immediately. We have it a try. The carne guisada burrito was just a few pieces of what seemed to be microwaved meat squares with absolutely no seasoning or gravy of any kind rolled in a cheap flour tortilla ( you can tell it's cheap by the texture and taste) then covered by what seemed to be Rico brand cheese sauce watered down and poured over the top. The rice was bland and seems to be minute rice. The chimichangas were prepared the same way, store bought chicken strips and cheese then topped with the same cheap sauce. The beans were watery and had a distinct old lard taste. We will not recommend this place.

No taste in the food, chips were from a bag, salsa was like water. I would not eat here again was passing through area. used rating to find and was disappointed that people are not correct on there rating. Would like to try others in town to see if better. Update: tried Nacho up the street it's better but not good also get your tex-mex out of town!

The service has been horrible the last few times I have eaten there. I got up3xs to get drink refills, more hot sauce, napkins, and whatever else I needed. If you’re looking for good service, this is not the place to go. The food was OK but the service is horrible!
