Great staff!!!!! Fast efficient and the food was great ! Better than any other chilis ive ever ate
Food was good, service was good. Some of the bar TVs were broken (or off), so game watching was kind of a pain.
My husband and I ate there today and our food was so good and our waitress was the best ever!
This place is fantastic everything was great, our waitress, food, price. Food just tasted awesome would highly recommend. Great location easy access if your traveling.
Service was excellent. Our server was helpful and had a great attitude. Drinks were refilled without a long wait. There was something wrong with how one of our orders was cooked, and the issue was promptly resolved. Food was otherwise great.
Traveling through Plainview and stopped at chilis, the restaurant was clean. The food was very good and came out promptly.
Burgers are huge and really good! A great kids menu so your kiddo can make a good meal choice! ❤ the Arnold Palmer! Well maintained and everything is clean, table service is usually quite good as well! Check out the meal for two, makes a great date night dinner!
Lunch was perfect. The steak was both tender and juicy. And the cajun pasta was cooked to perfection. Thank you. I eat at chilis all over Texas and this one is the best so far.
I always sit at the bar for shorter wait time. The Bartender Lisa was awesome!! The Ribeye And 12 shrimp is delicious with broccoli and a salad with ranch everything was the perfect temperature and the Malibu and pineapple juice washed it all down just right!!
Stopped by to grab lunch with my wife on the way back to Lubbock. Food came out perfect. Drinks were never empty. Awesome experience.
Greeted and seated quickly even though it was Mother's Day. Our server greeted us, took our drink orders, and appetitzers' request. Given time, for us to look over the menu and came back to take our orders and answer our questions before placing our orders. Food came out in a short time, and drinks were refilled. Enjoyed our time talking and planning family get togethers and some future trips. Waitress was attentive to our needs and bringing a go box toward the end of the meal.
My family & I dine there often and we always have the best time, the food is awesome and the service top notch!
I took the wife for Mother's day. For the first 15 minutes no one even acknowledged that we were there. I finally asked if we could be seated as my wife is 80 years old and tires easily. We were told that they were waiting for our waitress shift to start and then we could be waited on. We sat another 10 minutes and then the waitress began waiting on people that came in after we were seated. She did lay some silverware on our table while taking the other people's orders. When we finally got our food it was good as always and the bloody Mary was good. I tried to check out on their kiosk and it would not let me clear without leaving a tip. It will be a good while before we go back, if we do.
Went for our anniversary and man oh man. My drink (Titos punch) was perfect! I always get the fajita trio and it never disapponts!! Thanks to our awesome waitress (forgot her name, I'm sorry!) we had a blast! She took really good care of us considering it was PACKED!! She has another table that was in a horrible mood, seemed like, and she still handle.us like a true pro! Thank you so much for a wonderful anniversary dinner!!
Tori made my experience at the bar phenomenal. She has such a great smile, and she knows how to make drinks. I want will be recommending this Chili's
Katelyn is the bomb, she recommended the smokehouse combo and it was great. The steak and shrimp was great too. She did a great job making sure that we were taken care of. She made a mean Cosmo and was able to keep up with all of us sitting on the bar side. Great job!!!
Stopped off for a family dinner while traveling home from vacation. They quickly sat our table of 8. Server was kind and attentive—and put up with some restless kids in our group. Food was out quick and tasted great!
My burger was a little too under cooked for my taste. It wasn't even that big a deal but the waitress and the manager went above and beyond to make it right. It's so rare now days to get that kind of customer service. Thank you! The food was delicious
Music was too loud to visit but they did turn it down. Best Chiltons in town!!
Probably one of the top 5 Chili's I have ever eaten at. Alexis was our server. She brought drinks quickly, took our order promptly, asked if we had any questions, made suggestions, PERFECT!! Another young lady offered To Go box for my wife, and brought extra waters for our hotel stay. Food was outstanding!! Highly recommended!!
Best Chilis I have been too. ALL these other people complainers seem like pretentious spoon fed professional complainers. They do their best at this location, with what they have. LUCKY THIS PLACE IS EVEN OPEN. All that complaining, making these people get fired over what? A Cold mozzarella?
I had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla....was very good!! Service was friendly, store was clean! Definitely will be back!!
This is our usual. Go to place after church or just a dinner date. They had issues with the fryer, so no fried food. My fiance was sad. But we still enjoyed the fajita trio.
Unlike my last visit to Chili's this visit was awesome. Had a good waiter and the food came out hot and fresh this time and made to order. Now if we can just get them to be consistent on my visits ill be in good shape
Good experience and good food.
I ordered to go. I ordered at 7pm, it said it would be ready at 733pm I got there at 730pm there was a line waiting for to go orders by the time I got to the front of the line it was 744pm. I gave her my name and she looked for my order and said it still has 5 more mins on it. I waited patiently and about 755 I received my order. I made it back to where I was parked and the food was cold. I ate it anyways bit it shouldn't have been that cold so quickly. I had a fajita. The tortillas were piping hot by the time I got to them as I usually eat them last. Which led me to believe my food was getting cold as they waited for my tortillas to cook. I would have rather my main food been hot and the tortillas cold but it is what it is.
My husband works for chili's, it's great food. He gets an employee discount. We visited the one in Plainview, a bit small but our waitress was so nice and ACTUALLY knew how to do my husband's discount. Unlike the one in Arlington, they said he wasn't in the "range" to use his discount as we live in Lubbock, but yet they gave our friends his discount instead of us. Paid almost $50 for TWO people and they paid $20 for THREE people. Makes no sense because we were very nice to the waitress. I guess it was just one of them days you get over charged for something..
That steak was so dang juicy and cooked to perfection. 1 of my guys was ordering 1 and I said "from here?"....I'll try it too man o man was it great!!! Service 3.5....see her twice but hell that steak did the trick!
Like the food. Service was good. Went on a Saturday, we are in the middle of Big 12 country and they had the same big 10 game on every TV. Just doesn't make sense 😕.... Also we got bottomless chips and salsa and the waitress refused to refill the chips and said she did us a favor refilling the salsa. That wasn't good.
Excellent lunch specials. Half sandwich with a cup of soup under $10. Somehow we received a wrong order, so they not only corrected my friends salad, but threw in the wrong food for free. Great salad and loved the chicken enchilada soup!
Time for a little lunch. Wanted to try Chili's pick three promo. Okay here we go... I had the $10.99 pick three. Chips and salsa, ice tea(unsweet of course) , QP burger with 🍟. Happy to report that it was a good meal. My wife had the same thing, except she did the $6 upgrade. I was like really? Low and behold that upgrade was a GREAT good deal. Upgrade included more chips, queso, salsa and guacamole. It was enough for two. Chilis u came through this time. P.S. guys in case your thinking it don't, you know most times your spouse is right. Whoa that was tough to admit.
Our server was delightful. One of the few that can handle being the only server in a semi full restaurant and still make you feel like you are her only customer. The food was good however the fries were kind of dry and the street corn dry as well.
Service was very good. Our waitress was so attentive and helpful. We went there to celebrate a birthday. It took a long time to seat our group of 8. Most of their seating is for 4 or less so it may not be the best place for a large group.
Well I Order Full rack ribs Which is Only 7??? Guess extra 5 cut off goes for half rack!!! Feel like they double dipping but it's full House. Foods Good Service was Great! Alittle disappointed that there full rack is 7 ribs in Texas lol
The hostess did not keep her mask on, had a rude attitude, and never informed us how long the wait would be. The server was great. Food was super salty. Steaks were ok but wasn't worth the price.
It was fine. We were a very large party so I can understand the frustration of staff and manager, I guess that's who he was. We were all in town for an aunts funeral. I just had margaritas, you can't go wrong there.
The margarita chicken that I ordered was cold and they barely put any Pico on it. I asked for extra Pico. The sw egg rolls were very hot and delicious. I like cold Air conditioning but I felt like I was sitting in the walk in. Please turn down the AC just a tad.
That sirloin steak is good. Along with a couple of waitresses that are good worker's as well. Other than that, they need new worker's & management!!! i seen a couple walk in sat there for like 10-15 minutes, never got served. So they just got up & walked out. i bet they were very disappointed. Chili's need to step it up already.
Went here and Im from out of town but did I have to stay from moving to another place. Having to recover from food poisoning from the Salmon. Just wanted to let yall know because of future patrons! Thank you for the atmosphere! I had the Salmon and two presidents , we were sitting at the bar area
We ordered last night, for pick up. It was our first time trying the wings. They were a good size and not bad of a sauce. Kind of reminded us of BWW which is our favorite spot. We also got sliders which were a bit dry. My complaint was the salad. The lettuce specifically. All brown, yellow very wilted and soggy mix. It was disappointing as that is the main reason we made an order there. I did not finish it.
Food seems to be getting worse. It depends on the day. I used to want their ribs all the time but now I'd rather eat a burger. Ribs seem over cooked and bland. Waitress we had this day really sucked, the only time she came with a smile is when she brought our ticket. There were six of us and spent about $250. Some of us did have a few beers so I know that hiked up the price.
Service was horrible When we got there we waited at least 20 min before anyone acknowledge we were there When finally a waitress showed up she took our order for our drinks and food The drinks were spot on though, tasted good so that was better. When our food arrived my steak came medium well when I ordered it rare, so it had to be remade. After waiting nearly an hour and 15 min for our food I was quite upset that it was not prepared correctly When my steak finally came back and was remade it was very tasty. Not the best service but the food and drinks made it a little better experience.
We decided to give this Chili's another try after last time we went was horrible! This time the only thing we didn't like was us waiting again with no hostess their to greet us and had to wait a little bit b4 we got seated, then we had to wait again til finally our waitress showed up. Then waited some more just to order and get our drinks. And it was not even packed. Another waitress did come to help and was very nice and sweet. Other than that the food did not last long and it was very delicious!!! Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars. (I would say that the one in charge or Chili's managers plz keep eye out when your customers come in and don't have them waiting at the front door when alot of your workers are just passing by and not say anything) that was the reason why we never came back because of that and because of the unprofessional waitress. Glad we got a better waitress this time!!!
It was alright. Food was decent. Ordered a steak medium rare and got it medium well at best. Rest of the food was decent. When you pay $27+ for a steak and it is over done it kind of ruins everything else. Wife said we should have just waited until we went to Lubbock and went to Longhorns Steak House for the same money. That comment pretty much sums up the experience.
Foods decent just definitely not a go to more of a when I’m craving it type of place
Ordered burger and fries to go, they said about 15 minutes and they would bring it out. Waited 20 minutes, went in to check on the status, and the employee was about to carry a different order out, an said, "oh yeah, here's your order", and picked it up from the counter as she walked by. Obviously it had sat there a few minutes. There were barely any fries, and they were cold. We would have complained but we had somewhere to be, which is why we ordered to go.
Waitress argued with me about what side I ordered. My daughter asked for corn on the cob and loaded mashed potatoes. They brought out French fry’s and loaded mash and then wanted to charge me extra for a side of corn. Usually have good service but not tonight.
Me and my boyfriend went to go eat dinner around 9 server gave us our food then disappeared the rest of the night then came back and we told her we had wanted desert and she told us “oh the kitchen is closed sorry should have told you before” I was definitely dissatisfied with the experience.
My family ate at the plainview tx Chili’s tonight. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated as well. My siblings food came out 10 minutes before mine and my moms plate. My cajun chicken pasta had little to no sauce and my chicken was cold. Our appetizer came out after our plates. Our server was good and helpful just not pleased with the timeliness of our plates and the taste/temperature of the food.
The food and service was awesome, however it is not McDonalds. If people want to let their children be loud enough to interrupt other people's meals. They should be asked nicely to leave or to quiet down.
My food was cold and not seasoned at all remind me of eating in the old folks home cafeteria where they couldn't season the food
One of the worst visits to Chili's. They short you on the beer saying they need to leave a thumb space from the brim (I never heard of that); the waiter was inattentive and kept forgetting things we asked for like straws, water, to go containers; there were long waits between check ins and never an offer to refill drinks. The food was good. We ordered light. Chips, Soup and Salad for me; Loaded fries for him. Traveling. I had to find the gluten free selections/menu on my own via Google. He had no clue. Was passing through, heading home to Austin. Will pass BY this location next time.
The food is usually pretty good, but the place is frequently dirty and the service often sucks. They often forget to include things in your order, especially orders to go. Got an order of chicken fajitas to go tonight and they forgot tortillas. They'd closed for the night before I realized this so there was nothing I could do. Not the first time something like this has happened.
Poor Friday 4:45 happy hour for drinks and appetizers. There were 2 tall tables of, 2 per table, small, unsupervised children ages 3 - 9, whose mothers were at another table. We sat at the bar but find it difficult to eat at the bar. They were there for 2 hours, drinking water, screaming, fighting, being loud. It made for an unpleasant experience, we left after 2 drinks. Unsupervised kids should not be allowed to take over the bar. The bartender was great, I didn't ask him to discipline someone else's kids. I did tell the mgr how much it interfered with my happy hour.
I am eating at Chili's in Plainview TX. We had the meal for 2 and and additional plate of food. My drink was excellent. My son's food and mine was hot and tasty. My husband steak was warm but eatable. At the time our dessert arrived the girl who delivered it did not clear our table. We got left with our dessert and the empty duty plates. Our Server saw our dessert on the table but didnt pick up our plates until we were done eating our dessert. He never offered additional drinks...
Worst service I've EVER experienced at a Chili's. Never even saw the same waitperson twice. Threw our food down and never saw any of them again. They dont give you a bill anymore because you're able to use your debt card right from the table screen...Which is cool, but come on.... Doesn't make up for the complete unfriendliness and lack of service. Will definitely steer clear of this Chili's from now on.
Food is not good. Prepackaged nasty. Ribs only get cooked one time a week, the rest of the week it's leftovers...yuck!!! Chicken strips are weird....they have some thing crunchy and elastic tasting inside the meat...NOT REAL Staff is nice and the place is clean and alcohol is good.
The waiter was not friendly nor was the service adequate. Staff did not want to refill the pitchers of our drinks. We felt not wanted there even though we are paying customers. Do better Chili’s. SYLB
Took to long to get my food and I asked for rare and my steak was cooked all the way..again. This is not what I ordered and I paid 20 bucks for this steak I was going to eat it. But the cooks need to know how to cook a steak probably I went twice already and this is getting frustrating already. And the two separate times I got the sirloin and the rib eye. Both cooked all the way and I asked for rare…unacceptable!
I am new to the area and just wanted to get a burger and fries. I waited and sat at the entrance, after 18 minutes a family of 4 walked in right in front of me and and was served nearly instantly, and I basically was just left sitting there. Plenty of staff made eye contact but never said a word and none offered assistance. Will never eat at a Chilis again
Gross, GROSS, GROSS!!!!! It took our waitress forever to come and take drink orders, the children finished their food before the adults received their plates, the food was cold and nasty. No sizzle to the fajitas, their mexican rice extremely gross and the asparagus wasn't cooked. We had to ask for drink refills, napkins and help from another waitress. What a bad experience and the manager didn't seem to care. Not worthy of a star at all.
Here we go again. What is it with the Plainview Texas location. Usually the food is very good. HOWEVER since the Ziosk came out, the quality of service has thanked. Today when we walked in, ZERO STAFF IN VIEW. We waited at the door for 5 minutes before someone finally came to the front to seat us. The store was not packed, was not busy, at the tail end of the lunch rush. What is this, seat yourself? Make your order via Ziosk? Once we were seated, service was good and the food great. The staff is clearly multi tasking here. The level of service just isn't what it used to be.
Chicken nachos were dry and burnt both times they made them , ribs were dry and crunchy / hard on the edges and ends near the bones , waitress was really good , sodas were good ice tea ! Was good !
My mini burger patty had a perfect bite taken out of it! ....I showed d waitress and she implied, I took a bite out of the patty...So I asked her why I would of called her over n showed her a perfect bite taken out of my patty! . ..botton line , i was served food that was partially eaten at this place......i will never eat there again! . I suggest ya do d same;
Rude and unfriendly hostess. Everytime!
This place was filthy. We have eaten here for many years. I have never seen it so run down. There was dried food on everything. The waitress was very sweet.
I've eaten here before and never had a problem. I walked in there tonight with my 4 year old son and ended up walking out. It took about 5 minutes for someone to come and seat us and there weren't even busy. The hostess tried to sit me and my 4 year old at the bar and I told her I didn't want to sit at the bar with my son. She didn't seem real pleased with my request and she moved us to the other area that wasn't even crowded. She sat us with no menus and then started complaining how somebody needs to come clean the tables because she was already mad and she wasn't doing it. We sat there for a few minutes and no one ever came to give us menus or take an order. We decided to get up leave. Very unprofessional tonight.
Did the takeout. Never again. The Bufflo Ranch Chicken burger tasted terrible. I've ordered in house and the first time it was great, a little too spicy but great . Next time I asked if they could cut back a little kn the spicy. I got served one withe the sauce on the side. Doesn't taste the same. Service is sometimes slow when it is crowded but worth the wait. However after this last experience with takeout, don't know- if I'll be back.
Our waitressnever checked in on us not once. Our drinks sat empty up until we were done then she shows up with new drinks, acting like she did something special. One waitress spilled a tray of dri k. Splashing us and falling over our food. She picked up a pitcher she dropped and went to the back. No one apologized for the mess or offered to redo our meal I dont know maybe its just me but Cajun pasta doesn't pair well covered in dr. Pepper. We eat chili's at least 3 times per week. After tonight we will choose somewhere else to do dinner. If we want chili's I guess we'll make a drive to Lubbock. Really disappointing that management didn't come out to apologize for the mess. Chili's service is very sloppy.
Place is dirty. Windows in the doors are smeared with something greasy. Probably wiped with an oily rag. Wobbly table propped with napkins. Floors are dirty. Food took 45 minutes to get and cold when it finally came. Manager helpful and adjusted our bill, but I would prefer the service and food we have gotten at other Chili's locations.
The food was great but the service sucked! We all ordered starters(appetizers), 3 salads and chips and salsa that were suppose to be included with our meals, and we NEVER got them. Two of our meals were pastas that were suppose to come with garlic bread and NEVER got those either. Our waitress came and checked on us like 3x the whole time we were there and one of the times was to give us our ticket. I never complained to her or even brought it up just to see if she would even notice but she never did. All in all I should give them a half star!! Very dissatisfied. 😒
Chili's is one of the best places to eat in Plainview. Unfortunately they also have some of the worst service. I went in with a large group of people last weekend. The waitress had a look of disgust and bitterness at the size of our table. Having waited tables before this was surprising to me. Large tables like this ment an even larger tip the way I saw it. Our waitress was messing up left and right. She was bringing cold food to the table, not informing guests that the kitchen had run out of what was ordered until she was bringing other guests their food, and not bringing one guest her drink at all! When these things were brought to the servers attention, we were met with defensiveness and "shooting daggers," from our waitress. I can only hope that our waitress quits and finds another job that she actually enjoys. Waiting tables is not for her.
This place has gone WAY downhill. It used to be one of the better chili's, but the past couple of times I've been in here, I've had to wait well over an hour for my food...and I'm by myself. The last time I was here, I ordered a just bacon burger, and it came out cold with an unmelted slice of cheese on it. The manager apologized and said that he was training new staff. Well, this time was no better. I will not be back.
First time visiting in a long time and I will not go back. After being sat, we were not greeted by our server Marisa for 25 minutes and she only came over because we called the store and asked them to send us a server since none had come by. Another 30 minutes later and our food came out wrong plus we never received any refills. Once I pointed this out her excuse was, she was really busy. Still not a reason for subpar service. When I paid out she took the receipt so I couldn't do my survey. So disappointed.
The only thing we enjoyed was our drinks and the waiter he was very sweet and even gave my daughter a complementary ice cream. The food was absolutely disgusting we ordered the skillet queso as an appetizer and it was lumpy and cold they did give us a fresh one after we returned it but it was very salty then our food wasnt plated neatly and my shrimp never arrived. Won't be returning. Bummer, because with such good customer service good food would be expected.
Terrible service. Three weeks ago, I ordered a bowl of chili and a house salad for take out. At first, when my order was brought out to my car, all that was in the sack was the salad. I called to let them know I needed the chili as well. They brought me a bowl of what I assumed was chili, but when I got home, I realized it was queso and chili's was closed so I couldn't do anything about it. Not only that, but the box that the salad was in apparently wasn't closed properly and it came open and spilled salad everywhere. This is the third time lately that I've ordered chili and either didn't get it or got something completely different that I couldn't eat as a meal, such as queso or guacamole. I called chili's to complain, but when I asked to talk to the manager, I was told he wasn't there. The person I talked to took my name and phone number and told me she'd have the manager call me as soon as possible. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing back from this place yet.
Many years ago when Chili's first opened I got cold mashed potatoes. So after many years of not going I decided to try it again. Well this time it was cold rice and super sweet syrupy tea. And to top it off a kid threw up near our table. Sorry but I don't recommend going there.
Overcooked, overseasoned and dry chicken, drenched and dripping in oil mozzarella sticks. Used to eat once a week now its disappointing time and time again not worth spending $20 on a meal
Everything was great! We paid at the table kiosk and left. While saying standing outside my car an alleged undercover police officer approached me and my family. He politely asked us to come inside, as the manager told him we skipped out. I went back inside and spoke to the waiter and manager. I showed them my account where chili's had debited my account only minutes prior. They looked at me and said huh, that happens. That very poorly handled Chili's. We tipped 20%, is that offensive? I thought it was a decent amount and he did a great job..Do better
My wife and I took our 1 year old with us to eat at Chilis for dinner tonight. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our drink order was taken and we were brought chips and salsa. After that our waitress never bothered to come back and refill our drinks or take our food order. After waiting patiently for over 20 minutes it became apparent that the large table that came in 15 minutes after us was more important to our waitress than my wife, son and I. She was already taking their food order, so I asked a different waitress to bring our ticket so we could leave. The waitress that brought our ticket realized that our order was never taken, she apologized and offered to personally take care of us. My son was already fussy from sitting for so long. He was already hungry and that large tables order had just been put in. With our order being put in after a large amount of orders meaning it was going to be even more time before we could eat. We declined her offer and we paid out and then spoke with the manager who was very kind. She offered us an “online coupon to come back again and eat for free” but we declined the offer and chose to eat elsewhere.
John Mark I just hope you don't get sick since the hygiene and quality of products is not good within the week, but I advise you if you want to receive a great experience go on Saturday, Sunday or Monday 😁 and then tell me later.
Normally have good experience at Chili’s. Tonight started out fine. The waitress got our drinks out right away, then we waited and waited while our waitress never returned and we decided to leave. Guess we won’t be back to the bar seating area on a Wednesday going forward.
We saw a wait and prepared ourselves to wait (it was Valentine’s Day). We were told it would be 30 minutes so we went to the bathroom. Saw 4 empty tables on the way. Came back saw four more. 12 people standing waiting for tables (one very pregnant woman). Asked why. The kitchen was behind so they weren’t seating anyone until the kitchen catches up. I worked restaurants for 15 years - I have never heard of anyone ever choosing to make customers stand in line with empty tables while the kitchen catches up. Went up the road to eat.
I stopped to enjoy a meal and watch kansas city play saints....let's just say I ate my food with no silverware at the bar. Sorry I always tip. I just couldn't tip after that ug worst service ever I will never return
Terrible... sat down at the bar and had to wait for the bar tender to leave a seat in the dining area. Multiple guest left for no service. Other guests had to go ask a waitress for the ticket. Then after I received service(and she served multiple people that showed up after me) didn't even have my beer. I left after the terrible service.
*update* I ordered pick up and the consistency that should be there in the food isn't, we ordered the same thing and my mouth is burning from how spicy everything is, my poor toddler wanted the same thing as me and here I am making dinner for him. I'm sweating more now than I did before giving birth! Food is good service could use improvement, there are a lot of servers chatting with each other instead of seeing what the customer might want. Also got given the wrong thing or double of something a few times
I ordered online and got the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich that comes with bacon, mayo, lettuce, pickles, Swiss cheese, and tomato. I got home with my order and the sandwich only had pickles and mayo. I called back up there & the manager said they’d make me another one. So I go back up there (in a rain storm mind you) and get my sandwich only to make it home and realize they had slapped 1 single tomato slice on there with the Swiss cheese and once again FORGOT THE BACON. That’s what I am paying for. I really try not to complain but the employees at this Chili’s have a history of not paying attention to orders when I have ordered different things in the past. The manager at least said sorry on the phone but the to go woman who handed it to me didn’t say a word. Very frustrating. Edit/Update: about an hour after I posted this review, I got a call from Chili’s. Now I don’t know if it was an accidental call but I did not answer it and they did not leave a voicemail. At this point, I don’t want to call talk, I want you to do better.
Wanted to have a nice date night with my man but honestly will never come back here . Our server never checked on us only to bring our drinks and food then brings the check without us even asking for it and we still had more than half of our plates to eat i don’t think I’ve ever had service this bad not to mention the restaurant stinks like mildew . Highly don’t recommend
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. i took my family in for easter weekend, i had horrible service and the “manager” they brought out to me was very judgmental. On the way out after getting served cold food (i waited one hour for an appetizer) at a restaurant that smelled like I was stuck in a sewer, I also saw a rat! I would NEVER go back.
The help was great the food sucked I did not even finish my meal .
We missed eating at Chilis so we pulled up to this one in Plainview Tx. Parking lot was pretty empty so we thought pefect timing just walk in and have the Hispanic waitress didn’t even greet us and starts complaining about the cook being behind like 7 orders. She then proceeded to let us know the wait would be over 25 minutes or longer we just walked out. Sucks we drove 45 minutes to get here never again good workers are hard to find now a days.
The food was good, better than I thought for a chilis. This was my first time ever in one. My problem is the bartender was absolutely horrible. She only came up to me once. Didn’t bring me any type of condiments with my food, and let her friends vape inside the restaurant, would just talk to them about going to ihop instead of helping customers. She stuck her hands in the trash to compact it more and didn’t wash her hands after. I’m lucky the person who brought me the food wasn’t her. Multiple people kept mentioned how slow she is and how she only cared about talking with them(her friends). They were being extremely unruly and she didn’t care at all just let them keep doing it. Would not recommend coming here if you see a girl with bangs hanging off the side of her face with tattoos on her arms. Ranks in my top 5 for worst service I’ve ever received. Again, food was good, just absolutely horrendous service. One customer even said “am I going to get my shot” after waiting for about 20 minutes and mentioning it to her about 4 times. Update: It was her boyfriend, she let them get belligerent and they almost got in a fight, I’ve been sitting here waiting to pay my tab for 15 minutes. Her boyfriend almost got in a fight with another customer who was by himself minding his own business. I don’t know what is going on at this Chilis but that bartender just allowed all this to happen. And with more careful consideration this ranks as the 2nd worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. It doesn’t quite beat the first, but this is definitely a night to remember.
Staying in a hotel in PlainviewTx. Went to Chilis to get some ribs. They were just shy of being jerky. Been on the road all week and wanted some comfort food but ended up getting the worst ribs I’ve ever had in my life. Didn’t realize until I was settled into my room and it’s to much of a hassle to go back. If I was dining in I would definitely sent them back. Maybe that’s what they were counting on. Took it as a chance to pawn off some extremely over cooked ribs.
I went in for the triple dipper and was very disappointed, they forgot one mozzarella stick, I was highly disgusted with the way the server handled the situation, she wasn’t willing to bring me my mozzarella stick. Also saw something run across my foot while dealing with the mozzarella stick incident. Never ever coming back. YOU GUYS SUCK!!
Terrible service…Sat at the bar and had to wait for server to finish cutting lemons ( which they will use later afternoon for the Margaritas, what she said ) , mind you we are the only guest. Wife got a refill of sweet tea, husband did not. Because he step away from the table for a second. Just very unfriendly service. She never smiled….it’s terrible.
I ordered the just bacon burger and crispy chicken crispers on door dash...and I got multiple complaints..1. They forgot to give the dasher the chicken crispers so he had to go back to pick it up. 2 the burger was still raw as you can see in the picture so i didnt eat it so i just wasted money on a burger that I can't get my money back from 3. Everytime we order from chili's they always forget 1 of the meals we order...I get that it was a 1 hr before closing but the workers need to get their stuff together and cook the food all the way through and if they can't do the job then they need to be let go cause there should be no reason for a raw burger...
