We go to Donut King once or twice a week to pickup their delicious breakfast burritos. My favorite is sausage, egg cheese and hash browns while my wife likes their bacon, egg and cheese. These burritos are so good! While we are there we also pick up a few of their wonderful donuts as well. I highly recommend Donut King, to me, the best donut shop in town!

Family owned, patient & friendly service and accommodating. THE VERY BEST DONUTS ANYWHERE. They use the best ingredients. Apple fritters are to die for. Very large portions. They now serve breakfast and lunch food made to order and very good coffee. Bring cash, this is a busy a a small local business. I usually take out but have stayed for a donut & coffee.

This place is an amazing place to grab a box of some of the best donuts on this side of 680. A great little sense of community, the family who own donut king and their other employee are all so friendly, & patient. The food is great the price is even better and the atmosphere is welcoming Donuts [obviously] idk the word to describe it but where some other places offer donuts that are doughy, like underbaked or where they taste like they are already a day old ... I have never had a sub par experience from any of theirs. I've come early, I've come mid rush, and even late noon too and usually I keep within the classics but if I ever do adventure with a new donut I have yet to be seldom or regret my decision. Plus they have great fresh prepared fruit bowls or breakfast burritos sandwiches and good priced simple coffee

I've never written a review before But these donuts were so good it just had to be my 1st review...THE BEST DONUTS I'VE EVER HAD anywhere in my travels! The dough was fluffy, moist and tasty That doesn't even do them justice They were really the best ever! Even picking up at 3 pm most other places they'd be dried out by then And love that this shop is open to the late afternoon for those of us that can't get there in the morning The Wife half of the Owner couple was so kind and friendly The guy before me said he does a foodie Youtube channel and so she went into detail about their ingredients and said they spend more money on high quality ingredients but make less profit because it is important to them to provide a quality product to their customers And her husband the other half of the Ownership is the Baker Well after having tried them I definitely don't doubt it! This place is truly a hidden gem I've been past it so many times and never thought to try it as I already had a regular donut spot But forgot them! This is my new favorite donut shop And I honestly have no interest in ever trying any other spot as long as I'm in the East Bay area

The cash only requirement made it tough to really judge overall quality (I was limited to 3 choices with what I had in my wallet), but the donuts were good the apple fritter was huge and very tasty.

We have been buying their donuts, ham and cheese and mochas for 29 years. They are the best around. Superior to anyone else in the area, and we have tried them all. Plus their staff is the best. We've done both dine in and take out. We love to sit and eat whatever we buy either inside or outside. Both places are pleasant. Just depends on our mood at the time. We highly recommend this establishment. The people and the food and drinks are the best.

I was on the hunt for a French cruller and all star didn’t make them. The donut selection is small compared to all star, but the service is nicer. I was treated in kind, even if I wasn’t a regular. She was very sweet and had food ready quickly. Both hubs and I ordered a breakfast burrito to try - as they had a large selection. It was decent. It wasn’t anything amazing enough to remember, but I remember liking it. Good prices and friendly service, acceptable donuts, but small selection.

Pricey & cash only. Although bigger than your standard donut. The taste is not traditional but with a lot of dairy in it since its sweeter or creamier. It does appeal to a lot of people. 20$ per dozen on glazed

The $3.50 apple fritter wasn’t really worth it. I guess the 1.50 donuts were pretty good but given the lousy atmosphere and bad coffee was not very impressive . There are other better bakeries in this mall like bakery 85 which totally puts this place to shame .

Very anti disabled patrons and anti service animal establishment. They told us to get out in no uncertain terms. Only when you say their attitude is illegal do they assist you, and by that point who wants them to? Horrible, just horrible ☹️ And please let me clarify. We have been here every couple months or so since we moved in down the street years ago, and they have Consistently been rude. They ignored me when I was moving slowly with my walker while I was convalescing, and over the last 2 years pester me every time I come in with my Service Dog, who has the proper identification. To be extra polite I lately have gone out of my way and carry my dog into the shop. This is ridiculous. And even with this I still get flak. From the exact same people, about the exact same issues, every single damn time. Oh, and please do not get me started on how filthy it is in there. According to one of the employees, they were just shut down for rats this last spring. YUM. I only ever go back for my elderly mother and nephew. They can look past at all to see the quite decently made apple fritters they have. The only thing I would consider putting in my mouth. Just... Horrendous.
