Really good food and really great prices for the portions. Coffee was actually good for diner coffee. Fun atmosphere and kind wait staff. When it came to waiting on a table, the girls couldn’t give wait times, it was more like “there’s 4 tables in front of you” and we just had to guess how long we would be waiting (lol) but it was fine. Great breakfast. I would suggest get there between 7-730 if you don’t want to wait. We shown up at 8 on a Friday morning and waited about 10-15 minutes. When we left, the line for a table was really long. Do not go here with a large group— you won’t sit together. I’d say max of 6.

We have been coming to coaches since it very first opened in 2017. From the tiny little shop to where it is now, the food and service has stayed on point. Great value for price. We always get the steak and eggs, but have them make the steak like the Philly cheesesteak. Try it! You won’t regret it… best thing ever. And the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is amazing as well! Coach came up with an amazing menu and has solid staff providing great service! And even though we only come a few times a year, Tiffany always remembers us and knows how to tell them to make our breakfast!

Such a great place! They were quite busy and still got us in super quick. The food was priced amazing, super cheap for a great amount of food. Just such a good fun diner kind of environment. Our server Ashley was awesome and very accommodating to having multiple checks and just ensuring we were pleased at all time. Best for last, the pancake was absolutely phenomenal. Dare I say the best pancake I’ve ever had, and I usually don’t claim anything as the best. Very good experience on our vacation in port Aransas. Would recommend!

Sports bar and grill... so it's sporty. Food was surprisingly delicious. We had the ham and cheese,( ham so thick but like butter and juicy)... Hamburger was good also...juicy and good portions for both. So it's a little noisy but it's supposed to be. People having fun. Waitress was very prompt and food arrived in good time. The bill was 30.31 before tip for 2 (we always get water because it's better for you! 😁).

Cool spot in Port A to grab the best breakfast on the Island. The $5 Coach's Special is a great deal for a light breakfast. The French Toast Platter is excellent and a hearty breakfast, it also can be a Pancake Platter (pancake is large). Very friendly and attentive staff along with interesting interior give this place a down home diner feel. They serve breakfast through closing, the burgers and CFS that can be ordered as breakfast or as lunch plate both looks very good. There may be a wait for a table during busy times when the Island is hopping with visitors. Living close to Port A, I go often but only during when it's the off season.

The One LEGACY

Very small breakfast restaurant. Waited about 30 minutes before being seated. Must order while or a little after putting your name on the wait list so that they have it in advance. So be prepared for that. Besides that, the food is good and fresh, and the portions are huge. If you're someone who eats little, order the French toast or something small. But it's definitely a really cool spot to check out if you're on a small getaway to Port A. Update!!! They moved. It's just a block away. Nice location, with parking. Food is still delicious and affordable. Spent $38 for 2 people. Portions are still huge! The customer service is AMAZING! It's a little understaffed, but with time, this issue will be fixed. I don't come to Port A. too often, but when I Coach's is a place, I'll always come for breakfast.

Everything was great.It was clean, but there was some orange stuff on the sugar container.The waitress was very nice but there were signs in the bathroom saying not very appropriate except for little kids.But the place was really nice.Food was amazing.It was just an amazing experience.But I am reading at four stars because of the signs in the bathroom

Been here in year's past when it was the old 'hole-in-the-wall' location... good and service were better then. Stood at the hostess stand for a full 10 minutes this time before anyone even acknowledged me so we could get on the waiting list for a table. Last time, the sole waitress was spunky and funny and interacted with everyone. At the new joint, there are several wait staff, but no one interested in making people feel welcome... at least not today. We waited almost a full hour to get in, then felt rushed because other people were waiting too. We went out of our way to come here or we wouldn't have stayed.

Best damn pancakes! Saw a bumper sticker saying best damn pancakes at Coach's Island grill so we decided to hit up for breakfast. We ordered one pancake with strawberry topping and it really was the best damn pancake!!! We ate it without any syrup and it was delicious... added some syrup and it was even more delicious! The kids were not huge fans of the scrambled eggs but they liked the sausage. There was a bit of a wait but our server and the service was great! Even if you don't really want pancakes.... get the pancake!

A sports team themed restaurant that celebrates its favorite teams both in sports and politics. A very popular spot, and one of few open before 8am. By the time we arrived at 8am, there was a waitlist of a few parties ahead of us. Make sure to sign in at the podium. Once we got seated at 8:30am, service was incredibly sweet and working their tails off. Coffee and drinks came pretty quickly, but it took about 30 min to get our food. Thankfully, my son was very entertained by the little basketball arcade in the corner, and the waitress kept our coffee fresh. The food itself was great. The chicken fried steak had good texture and a tasty chopped sausage link (not breakfast sausage) white gravy. Hashbrowns were a perfect mix of crispy and soft potatoes. I ordered over medium eggs but got over easy, which is fine for me. Medium eggs are hard to get right. My wife enjoyed her simple Coach’s Breakfast Special. My son devoured his chocolate chip pancake. The kid’s pancake breakfast comes with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and an orange juice. Overall, kitchen was a bit slow but put out good food. The prices were very reasonable too.

Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen, but serving a 'World Famous' Philly that is completely inedible is unacceptable. Instead of thin ribeye, I got giant chunks of incredibly tough meat. The burger was okay, but the overall quality is significantly lower than what you’ll find at Fins. The only thing I’d recommend is the fried pickles. Disappointing.

Staff is nice and the place is cute, but they should have cared more and comped our bill for a FLY cooked into my son's omelet. Plus, a hair on a sausage patty and they got one order completely wrong. Really wanted to like this place. Won't be back.

First time we visited this place. Waited 20 minutes to get in. We sat at the counter. While we were waiting for our food, a cockroach crawled out from behind some items on the counter. We pointed it out to the person behind the counter and they squashed it. My wife ordered a pecan pancake and the inside was undercooked and gooey. My gravy and biscuits were underwhelming. We will not come back.
