Had an amazing experience at Dennys porter with Fatima. she was so nice and very attentive to all our needs. She went above and beyond. We will definitely be back to see Fatima again. If you want great service make sure to ask for her. Great service Fatima. thanks

My time at this Denny's was FANTASTIC!!!the food was wonderful I had a grand slam and my wife had the French toast it was to die for and the service was wonderful our server Alex was just a delight she was always fast and helpful and got me and my wife tended to very quickly and when my wife wanted her tea a little bit sweeter and we asked a manager named Nathan I believe to help and he made us a fresh pitcher of tea he was wonderful we really enjoyed our time with this Dennys.

Place was clean and GM is a super friendly person I visit to alot od Dennys around the area but th is particular location in porter next to Arbys is always top notch From servers to cooks and management are always on top of thir game and never disappoints The GM syed and Nathan are a true asset I'm hooked up on you guys Keep up the good work

Denny's is a favorite breakfast spot. The food is always fresh and tasty. The service is always great. The shop is always clean. This location is still relatively new. It has high bar height tables where there used to be counters, and softened rounded seating areas (booths and tables) that make it more comfortable and brings light into the restaurant. It's all very welcoming, and a solid value.

Jill is usually our Waitress when we swing through late at night or early in the morning - she’s amazingly awesome and makes sure we’re always happy! But we tip well because Denny’s still pays them like $2 an hour! 😡 But during the day Carlos is our new waiter - I’m very sarcastic and he tries to keep up! 🤪 He also makes sure my family is always happy! This is by far my favorite Dennys, the staff is always so kind and welcoming, our server Doug was tending to whatever we needed and kept on top of our drink refills, the food was absolutely delicious and every bite was better than the last the cooks did a fantastic job back there, if you ever wanna go out to eat I would recommend this one, the store is so clean and my perfect destination for my early morning cravings with the best coffee!

Overall one of the better dennys I’ve been too. Dinning room was clean, service provided was greater than most dennys I’ve been too and restrooms were clean and stocked as well. 10/10 would come again.

By far the best experience I've had at a restaurant. Our server Cielo was excellent and helped with everything we needed, keeping on top of our drinks and making sure our food was just the way we liked. I love this location! Any type of food order is hot and delicious! They are professional customer service and food items are very tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs dish is tasty and goes well with sweet tea or lemonade. We went as a family the morning after finding out a family member passed away in a car accident. Our vibe was off, but the waitress was very patient and friendly. She was very accommodating. She made sure to get everything right. There were literally no mistakes. She checked on us often and not once did she walk up during an awkward moment. We paid at the counter instead of the table so if you leave a cash tip I would suggest handing it to your waitress or waiter.

Came in for a nice dessert after a movie date. Was pleasantly surprised by their lava cookie dessert. It came out bubbling and was the perfect blend of melting ice cream and crispy warm cookie. Very pleasant close to a nice evening. The waitress was also very kind and thoughtful.

While she was gone another waiter came and asked if we had our drink order already which was nice. Now for the food is was hot and fresh,made correctly however one piece of fish was not cooked all the was through but no big deal. My wife’s omelette was hot and way more food that expected. We stopped here on our way home Thanksgiving night. We had an order to go. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. We were greeted several times by different people. First time visiting this location. I ordered the Superbird with seasoned fries. The food was good but... its not very professional to have 3 of your employees sitting in the dining area folding silverware trash talking other employees ( the dishwasher) . Also whatever they used to wash the tables with smelled like stagnant or dirty water.

As of 2 weeks ago, no more brown gravy for the chicken fried steak. Actually no brown.. gravy at all for anything. Meal should come with garlic bread. All I got was plain toast, not even buttered. This Denny's used to balance between 4 & 5 stars for food. Today definitely 2 star meal. The server was great.

This review is for Store #9559. My family and I chose this Denny's location for a quick, last-minute celebration, as it has long been our go-to diner. Unfortunately, our recent visit was a significant departure from our past experiences. The quality of the food was subpar. My steak was overcooked to the point of being inedible, with a texture similar to beef jerky. The hamburger had an unappealing taste of old meat and was completely unseasoned. After one bite, it was clear that the meat was not fresh. We replaced the hamburger with a plain waffle, which was smaller than expected. We found it to be excessively sweet, a detail we were not informed of until checkout when we were told the recipe and size had recently changed. During the entire meal, our server did not offer any drink refills. The manager on duty made eye contact with me but did not come to our table to address the issues. At the end of our meal, the manager quickly adjusted our bill to remove the charges for the hamburger and waffle. Horrible place very dirty and they only treat the regulars that walk in good and first! Everyone who came behind us got drinks and food first and we sat with finished drinks and no one asked us for refills or let us know if our food was coming. Manager was playing around with regular customers joking with them and making sure they where ok! Never acknowledged us also very rude when we brought it to his attention. I paid for the drinks and left because food never came! Very dirty restaurant!

The cook today was awful. I’ve never had food this bad at Denny’s or even at this location. My bourbon chicken skillet was lacking potatoes and the other veggies and drowned in the bourbon sauce so much so all I could taste was the sauce. From the moment me and my family entered we waited to be seated you can smell unpleasant smell of the restroom from the waiting area. A waitress came to the counter they completely ignored us and starting taking the other peoples bill so they can pay. Even though the other people just got to the counter after we did. Then we asked about the deals they had going on because we seen they were having meals starting at 5.99. But the waitress claimed they dont have that deal which is weird. service was not good it took too long for them to bring our food out. The food itself was great.

On this day, there seemed to be a shortage of staff and other issues. The restaurant did not inform us of the issues and seated us. We were servered drinks but had to wait some time before the order was even put in and prepared. We drank coffee and that stalled us for a moment. Management should have alerted us as to this problem. This made for a very long dining experience. We wouldn’t have minded had we been informed. I was very somewhat disappointed with the service. The manager was waiting tables as well, which I can respect. Kudos to him. It’s okay to have huge parties, but make sure you have the staff to compensate.

A lot of cursing behind the Dennys wall with a customer. But I came in to order and been right if front for almost 10 to 15 minutes and no one has came to the front. I heard the customer say you have someone waiting on you and she ignored him and said they can wait. There's clearly no sign that says (COME AROUND BACK TO ORDER). Today is OCTOBER 23,2024. 5:20a.m. The lady that works this shift need to be held accountable for bad CUSTOMER SERVICE. And you wonder why other food chains do better. (CUSTOMER service is everything) She clearly needs to be trained by CHIC FIL A. They have a lot of respect and you will not be ignored as a customer. You came to work to work, not to ignore and have conversations with 1 person. And it's now 20 minutes and still waiting. Clearly someone could have stolen something from the front and that's bad. She should be walking the room not just chilling in the back. It's only me and 1 other customer in the back. So it's not busy at all. I would have gave 0 stars if it had let me.

They made a mistake of sharing the gas station with the restroom. The restroom is always nasty and dirty. Their workers every time I go in there there’s new workers I go in there every two weeks or once a week and there’s always different workers. I finally stopped going because of that. They can’t hold onto their cooks to their workers. I don’t know what goes on in there then they closed it down for a while. I really love Danny’s but not that Danny’s the one on 45 north is better. The one in Spring is better.

I Ordered A Chicken Tender Plate That Came With Fries & Mac & Cheese, Bread, I Asked For Seasoned Fries Instead Of Regular Boring Fries: Waitress Never Made Sure I Had Their Seasoned Fries Untill I Brought It To Her Attention. Chicken Tenders Were Really Over Cooked But Became I Worked A 14Hr Shift I Was Extremely Hungry So I Just Accepted The Chicken Tenders As They Were & Began To Eat Them With Ketchup. Waitress Took A While To Come See If We Needed Anything But Look Like She Was In Another World. I Explain To Waitress The Issue I Had But I Also Told Her Because I Was So Hungry I Did Eat Them & I Would Pay For It. As I Began To Pay Our Bill Another Customer Spoke Up & Also Complained About The Same Meal As Me & The Manager Said Its A Timer That They Have To Use To Cook Them. I Told Manager If I Complained & The Other Customer Complained Doesn't That Tell You Something Is Wrong & Needs Immediate Attention To Fix The Problem. She Said She Has Told Her Boss But Nothing Happens. Then She Put Her Hand Over Her Mouth & Whispered That She Doesn't Even Like The Chicken Tenders Because Too Much Salt, Over Cooked & Never Taste Good & That She Tries To Tell People Do Not Order That Meal. Well No More Dinner For Me There That's For Sure!!!! Dj Nando Did Not Enjoy Dinner Tonight At Denny's.

Visited the Denny’s Porter location for breakfast and want to report a poor service experience. We waited more than 15 minutes before any server acknowledged us, and had to flag someone down to get coffee and place our order. Although the food arrived hot and tasty, there were no coffee refills or follow-up for napkins or extras from staff for the remainder of our visit while other nearby tables received attentive service. This made the visit disappointing despite the good food. I’m sharing this so management can address staffing or service procedures so future guests don’t have the same experience. I would appreciate confirmation that this has been received and any steps you’ll take to improve service at this location.

Wonderful restaurant i was here a few days before Christmas and I was told they were open both days the 24th and 25th. I wish they cared about their employees like other restaurants instead of making $$ maybe even closing early. It's disgusting. You can tell the workers and servers works so hard. We all need a break . No sympathy whatsoever. If you REALLY want to support this business, SUPPORT their employees by not going there and giving them a well deserved break. Can't even spend time w their family because they are servicing everyone else. Very disappointed how they run

It used to be pretty fast. Great service. I’m a guy that I like to be seat right away and ask What I Need on my table. The waitress are slacking too much. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Maybe they need to be rehire. I do recommend just because of the food.
