We came here for one of my besties bday we had such an awesome time. Food is $20-$30 on most things. The pasta my friend had was like $20 and the amount they got was not really worth that amount. A new game card is $3.00. Sunday is 1/2 of games on most of the games they have here. Service was excellent all questions were answered everyone got seated quickly. The bar is great but kind of felt like the Barnstable got mad I needed her help to get a drink all I asked for is water I chose to be the sober one. Place was mostly empty when we went there then it started to pick up a bit later. I also took photos of the menu bc I couldn't find prices on their menu online. So I hope the pics I added are useful for you. We played Axe throwing, Hungry Hungry Hippos, a couple of Basketball games, Big Bass, guitar hero, some fishing games, an emoji game a clown fair game a bottle knock game, Mario kart racing, Fruit Ninja. They clean every menu and table about after sometime that the people leave the table. About as clean as a club on a week day. I saw staff actively cleaning and helping each other clean the place up. The general feeling of this place is Chuck E Cheese for adults. Some people do bring their kids here so I would say if you are looking for a kid free zone 100% it would not be this place. I remember coming here for my bday around 10 years ago. Has changed sooo much but yet has still remained the same. The employees at the front desk are awesome thank you for helping us take our picture at the end of the night we appreciate you sooo much.
My gay autistic son has Tourettes and he didnt bring his gay also autistic boyfriend but he was still having a blast. my boy is so handsome. But he did took 20 minutes in the bathroom🧐 Would recommend going here every weekend!🤪🥰🥰🥰 such a mamas boy🥹
Went here with my family for the food. The burgers were delicious. I also had a henny sangeria and it was good.
This may have been the 1st I have visited a Dave & Busters with all of the games functioning in good condition and fully operational. We had a blast and our server went above & beyond to make sure our visit was on par with a very particular standard.
We love going to this place. The games are awesome, and they have many options to choose from. The food is always delicious and their prices are not bad. The service may be a little slow at times, especially when it's busy. This place is also great for watching games. They have TVs everywhere and a very nice bar. I highly recommend it!
Love coming here. The staff is always so friendly and kind. We never wait long for our food. And the food's always phenomenal. I think this place is underrated. It's a gem. 💎 And I like to visit the mall whenever I can. Brings back some nostalgia. Highly recommend.
The customer service, atmosphere, and food were all phenomenal at this Dave and Buster's!! I went to watch the Patriots game before going to work and got the Cali Caesar Salad Bowl which was absolutely delicious!! The HD big screen was excellent and a tremendous picture. They had surround sound as well!! I ordered a BBQ Chicken Flatbread to go also to take with me to work for dinner that night and accidentally left it on the table since I was in a rush. I called them to see if they had a policy regarding if you forget and leave a take out order on your table and they said they would offer me a full refund or a credit. I took the refund. Like I said phenomenal customer service!! I come here quite a bit and will definitely be back!! I plan on going back an extra time to make up for the inconvience I caused them of having to do a refund. I love coming here to watch games when I don't have the option to watch at home and the menu continues to get better. Excellent job Dave and Buster's all around!!
Fun for the children for the arcade and electronic participants. A lot of distraction and energy!!
We went here today for gaming only. Did not realize that going on a Wednesday was going to be so busy. Waited about 10 minutes in line to get a card for games. Found out after we could have gotten a card on the gaming floor at a kiosk or online. If you are planning on going, download the dave and busters app and sign up for their rewards to get some free extra play. We had a good time overall despite being super busy. Lots of games, entertainment, dining areas, and fun.
My autistic son has such a great time here would recommend, 🥹 he had such an awesome time and is a mommy’s boy🤣😂 I also brought his gay bf that has Tourette’s they had such a cute time together at here would recommend for a date or just a regular day with the kids
We had so much fun, my kids enjoyed the new games l. Food was good too 😋
We had a wonderful time! The staff was nice and helpful, the lady at the front desk was amazing, as well as a gentleman who worked hard to get the virtual reality game up and running for us, even after it was turned off. My son was so excited, and we really appreciated the staff going the extra mile for us! Food and drinks were great, and they have an amazing military discount that we were able to take advantage of. Both the adults and the kids had a great time!
Very busy place, there was an hour wait for a table, but the bar had a couple of seats open so we sat there instead. Food came pretty quick. I got the Bacon Burger with fries. My wife got the French dip and fries, It was delicious. The service was really good. The bar guy kept checking on us and refilled my beer my only complaint is the noise from all the kids running around. I'm surprised they don't separate all that out from the bar side.
Super Bowl energy was a vibe and the service was on point!!!
Updating their menu was the best move! We were not a big fan of their food since covid, now it's amazing. Dumplins 10/10. Creamy chicken pasta 10/10. BBQ flatbread 10/10.
The food was super good, and I enjoyed watching football on the massive TVs. The Manchego chicken and churros were 🤌. The churros had caramel and chocolate inside 😋.
Had a great time , food was fantastic and I want to thank the host Nursey for being so helpful, she helped me reload my card anbd it was fairly priced. Over all a good time.
Games are very expensive to play. You have to buy a card. You'll go broke if you have two kids.I can't even imagine if you have more than that You'll need to take out a 2nd mortgage. I only go to get the cotton candy. They have a machine in there.I get that and leave because I like my money too much🤣
Dave & Buster’s in Providence, RI is a total GEM 💎 for games, good vibes, and solid bites. Everything lived up to D&B standards plenty of fun, great food, and the perfect energy boost after a stroll through the mall. Super convenient for Malk shoppers and definitely worth the stop if you’re nearby. Add it to your GEM map 🕹️🍔✨
They offered 1/2 priced games under after Thanksgiving. My kids and whole family had a great time. It also appears they updated their food menu and brought back the Eat and Play combo as my last visit I remember we chose to eat elsewhere and they didn't offer the combo. I like all the games they offer and they all appeared in full working order. It also appears they updated their prize selection to include some more things and change it up. We had good customer service for the dining and I recommend getting in when the games are half priced, it was a great deal and for the money the value was unbeatable for playing as many games as we did.
I took my granddaughter to Dave & Buster’s for her birthday, and Shannon and Cheron were incredible. They were patient and kind, helped fix her game machine, gave her a few free games for her patience, and even surprised her with free cotton candy while testing the machine. They truly went above and beyond to remedy the situation and made her birthday extra special. Dave & Buster’s is lucky to have Shannon and Cheron.
My kids love it here. They play all the different games. My son likes the racing, throwing and shooting games. My daughter loves ticket games and claw machines. While not the cheapest activity if you go on a half price game day it is a pretty good value.
Nursey and Frainy did an excellent job getting us situated at DB, even with a long line and a lot of pressure. They worked smoothly together, stayed calm, and kept everything moving efficiently. On top of that, they were genuinely funny and a delight to meet, which made the wait much more enjoyable. Their teamwork and positive attitude really stood out and made the experience a great one. I had a great time at this location, great food and eve deals. Would recommend to anyone at this providence based location to check it out!
The food is good. The service is ok. They automatically put a suggested tip on the bill. The suggested tip was 20% which is usually my minimum tip anyway. What I didn't like was how they give you the receipt to sign with the amount due, an area for a tip, and an area for total amount. The staff does not make you aware or give you an itemized receipt. You have to ask. Seems a bit like there is an ulterior motive. We went with our children aged 5 to 20. They all had a great time. You do pay for a great time here. Be ready to dish out some cash. An hour will cost you a minimum of $50 each child for game time.
I liked that this Dave and Buster’s was inside the mall. Did some shopping and could go in. Located above the food court (technically level 4 of the mall, but level 4 is just Dave and Buster’s and the IMAX movie theater). Been to a couple other locations and I liked that this one had a decent separation between dining and games. There was a second bar I missed the games area, wish I knew about that as it would be great if not ordering food. Did not order food here so can’t comment. Was a little crowed in the games section but looks like they were trying to fit the most fun in the area they had. Went at 3-4pm and the crowd was not bad, a lot of people but the place didn’t feel “overstuffed”.
This was my son & my last stop of our 11 states in 11 days trip, so I'm focused on judging fairly. The food was good, but a little expensive for the portion size. Staff was pleasant, but it took a while to get acknowledged; but great news there were games near our table, so it was easy to keep my son occupied until we could order. I almost want to give it a 3 because of the game quality selection and the prices per game. I took advantage of the best value package which was over $100 and we blew through it so fast without what I felt like was quality games the the VRs which we completely avoided due to price. We just came from Wisconsin Dells waterpark with arcade and the value per swipe was way more reasonable. This place has potential and they should be busier. I suggest lowering your game prices and sales will go up by more volume at the door. Good luck. P.S. get some quality pinball machines, not a dead game.
The food was way better than I expected. In fact it was great! The menu host something for everyone. Management more than patient and helpful when my son lost his loaded game card. Down sides VR wasn't working properly and the new avocado and shrimp appetizer hosted 3 pieces of shrimp and unattractive chunks of avocado that we fork cut to enjoy with the chips.
While the dish was flavorful, it was served deconstructed and the vegetables were an awkward choice. My daughter enjoyed her pasta and the garlic fries were tasty.
Great place to unwind and play games. Good food. All around a nice place for adults and kids. I always buy the most expensive token package because it's fun. Wednesday is 1/2 priced game day.
Friends child's birthday party. Pizza was delicious, but a tad doughie (both the pro and the con). We didn't have a salad, so at least for me, the level of cheese/acid is the limiter. Games are fun for kids, but really drink the tokes up
As far as the restaurant portion of Dave & Buster's goes, it was pretty bad. The system is awful. They sit you down and then you look through the menu and order through a QR code. They even ask you for a tip and to pay before you are even seen by a server. There was a problem with the system so it wouldn't let me order 2 drinks, and the drinks for my children came out much later than the meal. My drink actually never came out at all. Kids didn't care for the food (pizza and pretzel dogs.) My steak was pretty good, asparagus was cold and mashed potatoes were okay but very salty. The waitress and manager were extremely helpful, and tried their best to make up for the awful and faulty app-based system. If not for them I would give the restaurant one star. The arcade is obviously the main feature and it was a lot of fun, though a little expensive. Overall, I recommend eating at a better restaurant and then just coming for the arcade.
Overall experience was fine. The service was unacceptable. Waited 45 mins for food ,after being told the kitchen isn't busy. Then after our wait, 4 out of 6 plates came out ready. Two of my children's dinners no where to be found. Manager named Josh finally came out to see what's the matter. He then talks to my husband and I like we are 5. Saying he's not going to take the time to explain how the kitchen works to me. How rude! Finally the missing meals come out as the rest of the family is finishing up. Josh somewhat salvaged the night by giving us preloaded game cards. We did appreciate that. But the overall dining experience was annoyingly unpleasant.
Maybe I should have called before I came but I didn't think I'd have to. I litterally came here just for the Ancho Caesar Lettuce Wraps, the Parmesean & Bacon Brusselsprouts and a Strawberry Henny Nirvana. The food items aren't even on the menu anymore and no longer available and the drink was sold out. I ended up getting salmon instead and it was good but not what I wanted or what I came for. Steak & tenders were good too. We decided to play games after. It was close to closing time with about 30 mins to spare and they assured us it was enough time and that they didn't close until 10pm. When there was a 5 mins left we decided to just spend every left on the game card on one game real quick but the card declined and kept declining so we brought it to the desk thinking something was wrong just to find out they shut off all the games 5 mins before closing 😒😕🙄
I had 35 dollars in gift cards needed to use. Drinks are good but looked on the smaller side and maybe the reason my old fashioned was $10. Food was just ok, but I expected it to be from a chain. Good for apps, beer and games. Entrees are mediocre at best.
Food was pretty good! Buffalo chicken was awesome ! Wife loved the chicken parm. There isn't really a huge selection of games I'd say 60-70% of the games are like slot machine type games , the corn hole and are throwing games were down I really wanted to try those. They had a VR star wars game that was pretty cool.
Love taking my kids here. But the employees who run the ticket room are really rude. There were 2 female employees. Both looked like they didnt want to be there. My daughter tried talking to the cashier and she completely ignored her and rolled her eyes. Very disappointing.
I went to d&b sat night, these may be small things ,but ive been in the food industry for tpo many years, it took about 10 minutes for someone to help me, I sat at the bar, I decided to order a steak with rice and cole slaw, ok, now the steak had a weird taste, It must be a gas grill ,but I couldn't eat it all, close slaw was warm and had no flavor whatsoever, it should have been served in a small dish, not on the plate with hot food, I thought the rice was going to be rice pilaf, was bland white rice. Also again small but they had to go back and get a steak knife, if your serving steak, wouldn't you grab a steak nice, ,I asked for salt, never came, the waitress was gone 75% of the time, im not sure if going back and forth to the kitchen ? But had to be the worst experience, I will go back for games, but will never get food again,$26.00 for steak, and I could have paid less and did a better job at home.
The games are pretty decent - my husband and I enjoyed them. The ticket prizes are junk unless you have enough tickets to get something really good, like a PS5 or something of actual value. Sorry, but 4k tickets for a stuffed animal is not justifiable, when that ticket value would probably cost over $50 to win. Tonight, we decided to check out the restaurant. I made a reservation for 5:30, knowing it would give us an hour and a half before we had to leave, and we had to be at our destination on time at 7:25. That was PLENTY of time to eat and enjoy a meal on our anniversary. We were sat, and it took 15-20 mins for a server to take our drink orders - we put in our food order with it knowing it would take another 15 for someone to return to us to take our food orders. We ordered chicken wings and fries, and given it was almost full because of the Pats game, we understand it may have taken awhile. However, 30 minutes came and went and people had left due to the game being over, and there were tons of now empty tables and an almost empty arcade compared to earlier. We had to flag down a different server to check on our food. Fries and one plate of wings came out, then my wings 5 mins later, was told there was a "mishap in the kitchen.", but I'm now assuming our ticket was lost or misplaced. The table of maybe 5 people next to us ordered wings too and they got sat 5-10 mins after us, yet got their food before us. However, we think they received our food by accident. Now it being almost 6:15, we only had 30 minutes to eat and enjoy our dinner. I asked for a takeout box, and never received one. Ten minutes later, my husband went TO THE HOST STAND to ask for the to-go box. Food was great, but the dining service was not great. I really do not like complaining about stuff like this, as I have worked in food service AND entertainment (former employee of Monster Mini Golf), and better service should be provided, especially since we've been here quite a few times and spent our money here. I am willing to give the restaurant area another chance, but I expect better service. My husband and I feel as if we were treated poorly because we were only two people and were seated at a table meant for four, so of course we won't be shelling out a $100+ bill, and I guess larger parties take priority over a very small party.
It seems like many games were removed. The cost/credits per game we were told would be 4-6 credits per game but it was more like 8-12 credits per game. The tickets don’t get you too much and the customer service staff didn’t seem very happy to help, robotic like. Other than the manager who was very nice. We didn’t get food, just played games.
Food was terrible. Didn't get our drinks and saw MULTIPLE MICE in the restaurant. The games side of D&B is hard to mess up so that's great but DO NOT EAT HERE
We then waited a further 40 minutes and then as we were starving asked that if our food wasn't ready that could we have some bread and butter. We arrived at the restaurant and we greeted with a friendly face but that was the last good thing about this place. Please do not eat here!
We arrived at 5:15pm with out reservations, we expressed a need for a table for 6 a gentleman at the front desk was seating us and said he couldn’t do 6 at the moment he could do 4. I said we would take the 4 for now he expressed he had a reservations for 2 6 top tables and if those tables did not show up by 6:30 we could move from the 4 top to the 6 top at that point. As I write this review at 7:32 that 6 top has been empty the entire time we have spoken to the waitress attending us, the waiter Ethan who has expressed that we would be able to love form the 4top to the 6top several times. Than we asked our waitress for 2 more chairs to accommodate our 2 waiting guest. While we are discussing this the original waiter who said we could move from the 4 top to the 6 top made HSI way from the greeting station to the table and said we need to stop harassing them we been harassing them all night which is completely incorrect we were holding Ethan accoutnable for what he said. Iyana our waitress is great 5 stars Irene did her best to mitigate the situation but this thing started with Ethan and he made it worse the entire time instead if being transparent and when someone is holing him accountable it is diff from being harassed. Irene and Iyana were great did the best they can to fix the issue but we still ended up at 4top as of 7:45 that table is still empty
The bartender was the worst, probably waited like 10 minutes before she even saw us asked me what I wanted told I wasn’t sure yet then she completely ignored my partner as if he wasn’t there. She walked away extremely fast like we were inconveniencing her. Seemed to be a very slow day as well so idk what her problem was. Ended up just leaving b/c I didn’t feel like waiting 2 hours.
Our waitress was completely fine, but my partner got a drink and in her drink was a perfectly folded receipt. They did take it off the bill and made her a complete new one, but I still don’t understand how that can happen. Kinda grossed out and hope the glass was clean
I inquired about booking a birthday party. I recieved an email with the invoice on 08/19/2025 at 4:50pm. On 08/20/2025 at 9:54am, I recieved a call. I let him know i did not have time to review the email. And i would enail him once i did. The email did state I have 72 hours. On 08/20/2025 10:42am I recieved an email saying they have not heard from me so they assume I went in another direction and released my space. How did you not hear from me when we spoke less than an hour before? This is rude. I did not even get 24 hours to make a decision and the sales manager made the choice for me. I then called corporate to file a complaint. The rep just gave the manager my info to call me back and said it was up to him to deal with it. I do not want to speak with the person that lied and said he hadn't heard from me even though we spoke less than 1 hours before. Guess I will have to book elsewhere.
The plan was for a small family bday thing that the kids would enjoy. But we were seated under a screen showing WWE with a LOT of simulated blood; a group of guys had pulled up chairs to watch at the next screen over. This was NOT the fam-friendly plan. I understand that this is not a playground space but c'mon - turn off the blood and put up a game. I thought this was a place for a 10yo kid, parents, uncles and grandparents
As someone who has come to Dave and busters for years, never have I ever felt like a cow being milked for every possible dollar of revenue. After $300 in dinner and $200 in game cards we were told that we could not be in the bar area if we were not buying food. I just wanted a place to have a drink when the kids were playing games. Honestly I have never felt like a wallet rather than a person who was having a good time on their birthday. If anyone from corporate is listening, know that your policies are not centered around a positive customer experience and it feels that way. The manager was apologetic but honestly the systemic issues with Dave and Busters are in the policies and lack of control at the local level to make guests seem welcome. I won’t be back. Know that I am one voice in many that have contributed to the experience that others feel.
As someone who has been in the service industry for more than 20 years! I don’t normally put a bad review but hear goes. Came to D&B the bartender never introduced her self and acted like she couldn’t be bothered. Mind you there are 7 people at a bar that seats about 40-50 people. She goes are all set? I just sat down how about how about hi can I get you something to drink or would you like a menu! Now as I’m typing this it’s been about 5 min she now comes over and says do you want a menu or are you all set? Where in the world is this acceptable?
My experience at Dave & Buster’s today wasn’t great. The food came out cold, which was really disappointing, and the games felt overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere is decent, But the service was awful, Overall, It wasn’t the fun day I expected, and I don't see myself coming back here.
When we first sat in the bar area, there was no acknowledgment—no greeting, eye contact, or “I’ll be right with you.” When I finally got the bartender’s attention (short pink hair with bangs), I asked for a table. She said all tables were taken, even though several were occupied by people who were not dining or drinking. I asked if those guests could be moved so we could be seated to eat. The bartender told me she could not ask them to move and that I could go ask them myself. I expressed that this was ultimately her responsibility, not mine. She then approached one of the guests, who said he was waiting for family. We went to the restroom and, when we returned, the table was vacant, so we seated ourselves. From that point, we waited close to 20 minutes again with no acknowledgment before anyone came to take our order. Since the eat-and-play option must be ordered through a server, this delay meant my 6-year-old had to wait that entire time before being able to play. Given the level of service, the automatically included gratuity did not feel appropriate. I spoke with management and requested it be removed. The arcade is essentially the core of this establishment and functions almost entirely through self-service kiosks, which actually work well. Unfortunately, the customer service on the food and beverage side does not match the rest of the experience.
