We had the most wonderful time at Torch. The waitress was wonderful, and our food was delicious. We had ordered their famous pork dish and stuffed flounder. The best pork we have ever tasted, and the flounder was delicious. The pork fell off the bone!

Every time that I come to this restaurant I have such a wonderful experience. This restaurant has such a great selection of awesome food, fantastic décor, and special events as an added bonus! I had the pleasure of being a part of their hosted "Painting Party" where about 11 people painted their unique interpretation of jellyfish. My thanks to Heidi and everyone at Torch Bistro for a wonderful experience, great dining, and for the out of this world Sunshine Cake!!!

Ate dinner here last night, had the Penne Ala Vodka and it was fantastic! Service was Excelent, very friendly. The place was clean and pleasant inside, not over done. Definitely upscale though a little small. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Bob, Shane, Heidi, Enzo & Crew helped arrange and catered a dinner buffet for the 2017 USCG Auxiliary Change of Watch and Holiday Celebration. Food was fabulous; service impeccable. Fantastic to work with. Great Value. Highly recommended. Personal thanks for making this event a great success.

Had the 8 oz prime rib special added a salad...it was the best meal I have had in a long time...service was attentive and it was clean...the bread was so good as well. Highly recommend it....and my hubby and i had a great meal complete with drink special and tip for 40.00.

Been here three times with my fiancee now and we love it. We've been saying we want to stop and eat here and now we have came here a lot within the past few weeks. We always have wonderful service and the food is amazing. Recommend Stopping By Here.

I just wanted to make a quick post to share how much i love Torch! I eat here at least once a week and have never had a bad meal. Service is great, food is amazing. I personally love the phillys, the penne ala vodka is amazing as well. They even have yuca fries. If you love seafood you have to try the stuffed flounder :) and they always have specials. Make sure you say hello to Heidi she goes above and beyond for every customer. It truly is a family establishment ❤

Our club for the second year has booked the Torch for our Christmas party. What a awsume time. I am just a pawn in the scheme of all of this. Let me begin with how nice this restaurant is for one. The professional part is second to nothing. The staff is right on key. Very family run with the employees being treated just like family as well. Trust on this I was watching. Very out going and friendly people. The food was outstanding starting with that delicious summer salad. The prime rib I litterally cut with my fork by just slightly pressing down. Flavor to yummy for. Yes, I made the Mmmmm sound. Wether a sit down with family, a loved one or a function. Would recommend this place in a heart beat. What do you have to lose. Try them out. From a guy that has been around this place is a go to. You will not regret it. Enjoy !

The food is awesome! I especially like the pork wing appetizers too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. I love Heidi. She is a great bartender and is always so happy to greet her customers with that special smile. We were in the restaurant last night and there was this couple at the bar that were such JERKS. He ordered a glass of wine and didn't like it. She took it back and he asked for Beefeaters on the rocks. She made him a good stiff one-I saw her pour it. The woman had some speciality drink like a pina colada. When they were ready to leave he asked how much the bill was. She said $12. He said that was ridiculous. She said his drink was $8 and hers was $4. They made such a scene complaining about everything that she said forget the bill that it was on her. She couldn't have been any more sweet to them and they still complained! If he didn't want to pay for it why would he order an expensive drink??? Duh! They said they wouldn't be back. Well, I for one, am glad about that. Glad I don't need to see them again!!! Keep up the good work Heidi - We love you!

I have only been to Torch twice, the first time I went I had the prime rib, and it came out perfect! The sides it came with were the mash potatoes and sautéed vegetables , the potatoes were so nice and fluffy and the vegetables were sautéed to perfection. The second time I went was for my birthday and I had the pork osso bucco it was phenomenal, crispy outside, soft tender inside, it fell right off the bone!!! Also came with mash potatoes and vegetables also so delicious!! I would recommend Torch to anyone , if you don't live close its worth the drive, my waitress was so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is so cool and very whimsical! I will be back !!

Dinner out with my husband. Impromptu decision to go out to eat. Snowbird season is starting here so I made reservations (unneccessary). Seated promptly, server was there quite fast, explained the specials. Took our drink order. I ordered the Penne vodka with grilled chickens, the hubs had the pork osso bucco. Side salad (2.00 additional cost) with blue cheese was the best salad EVER. Warm bread with butter. The entree was too much to eat (lunch tomorrow) was fabulous. Heide was our server and she was top notch. Not our first time there and we will be back soon.

Food was excellent, great service. Friendly people. I wish the drink was stronger but that's more of a preference. Will definitely go back.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and make sure to go to Torch Bistro EVERY trip to the gulf coast. I found Torch when they first opened and have made sure to get there at every opportunity. The prices are unbeatable, the menu never ceases to surprise me and the service is always all you can ask for. The "awesome" buco and the duck are as good or better than I can get at home for twice cost of Torch's. Those of you lucky enough to live there should take advantage of being able to go there much more often than I can. My only regret is that I don't get to go frequently enough

I've been to the torch several times and have to say the service is always wonderful and I feel more than welcome when I step through the doors. Please try the chicken satay, it is my go to for lunch when I'm in the area, its light, simple, and flavorful.... 👍

My wife had an excellent salmon romaine wedge and I had the best philly cheese in memory. Bob made the philly with bacon, nicely sauteed veggies and mildly spicy peppers. Probably return tomorrow night.

An outstanding restaurant with great and very gracious staff. Osso Bucco is to die for. The tuna appetizer melts in your mouth. Watch out for Heidi, that bundle of energy behind the bar that meets and greets most of the customers.

I had the cheesesteak tonight at the suggestion of the owner. It was amazing as was their slaw! I have eaten here 4 or 5 times and each time I have had something different. Heidi is always so nice and makes you feel at home! Definitely give them a try you will be glad you did! Also the meatloaf is amazing. I will be back! Thank you, Jim-

Amazing salmon with penne pasta and the stuffed flounder was out of this world. Reasonable price for the amount of food that was served and our waitress was so friendly, happy and attentive. Great atmosphere and fun to hear the staff banter and how they interact with their regulars. Can't wait to return next year. Chow!

Awesome Service! Been here twice now and we've gotten Eryne both times and she's wonderful. She is helpful on explaining the food and what we may like. So far we have loved everything we've gotten. Love the decor and the good vibes from everyone here . Highly Recommend Coming Here!

The food was to die for! My husband had Pork Awesome Buco dinner, I had the pot roast, and my daughter had a children's chicken tenders meal. The food was so good! It was tender, and so tasty! We had salad first. The salad was a great mixture of greens and other fresh veggies, with a tangerine dressing. We had Mango Margaritas that were delicious! The atmosphere is pleasant, stylish, and clean. The owners are the nicest people you could meet.

Enjoyed dinner at Torch's on Friday evening, highly recommend it. I had the Ahi Tuna (outstanding / fresh), my wife tried the Eggplant Parm as something different and also agreed that it was very good. The service thanks to Heidi was wonderful, she made us feel like family. To sum it up: 5 stars for the delicious dinners, outstanding service, very reasonable pricing & the happy hour wine. We will be back for sure.

We decided to try torch Bar and Grill because it had such great reviews. It certainly did not disappoint! All the positive comments that I read were very accurate. The food was excellent, prices very reasonable, extremely nice atmosphere, and great service. It will definitely be worth the drive from Fort Myers to return to Torch again!

Good food reasonably priced. Subs allowed on menu. Service very good. Not usually crowed.

Good food, small place. Only one waitress, had to get up and track her down for a refill. It was kind of odd, the chef had to be tracked down to get desserts prepared for another group there, was outside. I assumed smoking?

K

Food was excellent. . However I asked the waitress if the 18%percent tip was added into total bill...she told me no...so I tipped her again....and when I say again it was included the first time on the bill.... very disappointing

Very nice little place right off the main drag of 41. Upscale decor gives it a swank feel featuring a small bar and good menu options available. Tried the Philly Cheesesteak and the Mushroom Swiss burgers and both were pretty tasty. A decent option to check out with a great staff, drink specials, clean establishment it ticks all the right boxes.

Went to dinner here last Wednesday night for my birthday. Place was empty besides us and 3 other tables. Waited on good for a long time. Food was good (chicken Alfredo & pot stickers), ceased salad left something to be desired. Waitress seemed to be working all 4 tables. My husband had to get up and ask for another drink. Very pricey. If you go make sure you try the carrot cake though!

One of the worst dinners we have had in the area. I've lived here 10+ years. Rib eye steak came out completely rare. The stuffed fish was over cooked. Over priced. Service awful. Will never return.

A
Angela Rensch

First impressions It was very casual. Kitchen off to the right was a bit noisy, no music overhead that we could hear. The food was absolutely scrumptious and the service was great also, portions were very healthy. Bad layout for a restaurant our opinion only.

Went for a business Gathering. The food was okay but the service was not very good. After placing my order I was brought a grilled Caesar salad not a grilled chicken Caesar salad like I'd wanted and they physically grilled the romaine lettuce which was off-putting. When I informed the waiter, he gave me a snarky look as if he was sure that was the one I wanted. The calamari was good.

J

I had the tuna appetizer which was very good ($11), my husband had the Texas burger which was good ($10), the pickle chips were good ($5), the spaghetti and meatballs ($17?) was very bland and watery. The drinks (5 sodas) were expensive -$15! I looked on the website and it stated to save 5% on the bill, make reservations. When I called, they stated no reservations were being taken because there was plenty of seating. Then refused the discount. They did honor the discount of 5% for paying in cash. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The musician was great and interactive. Overall I'd say it was a so/so experience, but I still wasn't happy about the watery spaghetti, expensive soda, and not honoring the discount for the reservation the refused to make.

Food was mediocre at best. Ordered a Coke and tasted like lousy. Waitress brought me another one and it still tasted lousy. She took it away but I still got charged for it. Won't be going back.

We had dinner there yesterday, the environment is beautiful and the service was ok. BUT THE VEGETABLES WAS WAY OVERLOADED WITH GARLIC TO MAKE IT NON CONSUMABLE . My chicken was undercooked but the sauce was good with a nice size serving of pasta. The restroom had feces on the toilet seat AND there was NO soap in the restroom so how does the staff wash their hands ??

Strange food.. We had"Traditional Pot Roast" that was anything but traditional and Chicken Masala that didn't taste like any Marsala we ever tasted. 18 oz Bosco Butt was 10 od's of bone. Needless to say we won't be returning.

J
Jeri Lyn

It was a SIGN... Totally empty inside, even at the dinner hour. There was more staff, than customers. A positive, the beer was really cold. The waitress was assertive and pleasant. That was a plus. The appetizer, chicken staay with peanut sauce was anything but that. Dry as hell. Chicken chunks with some with some weird tangy sauce sauce dumped on it. My husband's pot-roast entree and the mash potatoes was good. The decor was appealing .

Or waiter never asked us how we were doing- only spoke to us when he HAD to take our order and when he picked up the check, never thanked us for coming in, and really terrible communication skills. We waited for some family to catch up and he never asked us if we wanted anything to drink until they showed up. Food was expensive for over cooked meals- Thai curry was more like a stir fry with chicken thrown in with tons of cumin dumped into it and the pork Marsala was over cooked, the sauce wasn't Marsala but tasted like gravy with mushrooms in it. A 15$ Medium burger ( which he never asked how we wanted it cooked, the menu just said nothing is cooked more than medium) was just that- a *mid well* burger with sweet baby rays on top. If I'm paying 15$ a plate, especially for a freaking burger, i would expect it to be better than dreans south of the border. I hated our server, and the food is over priced for mediocre food. If you cook food for a living like we do, you will be disappointed when you realize the food is very bland, way over priced, and terrible service. This place was a running candidate for my wedding reception, but after eating here I would never come back.

Last month I had a wonderful steak there. This month they have buy one get one off the regular menu. I ordered a Mahi dish and was served small pieces of fish that tasted very old. I sent the plate back and it was returned with slight better fish. The fish was definitely not fresh and appeared to be little left over pieces with an attempt to cover it up with seasoning. The vegetables also were so highly seasoned I was choking on the oregano. I am so sorry.

The sign board outside brought us in. The prime rib for 9.95 was a la cart, required purchase of two drinks. So far ok. I ordered end cut well done. There were only two other tables there at the time. After a very long wait the food came. I cut into my meat to find it almost raw. It took a long time to have the server notice me sitting and waiting for her, I showed her the meat and asked if she saw raw or well. She said she saw raw. I then asked what I had ordered and after reviewing her tablet threw up her hands and said " don't talk to me, talk to the cook" I did not eat my meal, nor was It taken off the bill. I paid, left and never came back. I frequent Phil's 41 almost next door. Phil's parking lot at all times is either overflowing or extremely full while Torch is either empty or only a handful of cars. This is not isolated times; it''s all the time. Phil is doing and giving excellent service while Torch is opposite

had early dinner, not very busy, service ok. food poor, Ruben worst I've ever had . granddaughter had kids chicken poor version of McDonald's over priced. never asked us how the food was. just happy to get out. don't waste your time or money. spent $40 for 2 adults 1 child no alcohol

B

To make a VERY long evening short, we waited 1.5 hours for our meal. 2 out of 4 of the meals were cold! (not even warm). When the hostess/owner came to our table, at our request, she made matters worse with NO apology, NO trying to make the customer happy and the worst excuse of all you ask? She said that she had NO control over the kitchen, that it was her husband working the kitchen! WELL, if you can't work as partners to succeed, you will have another failure like their former Englewood attempt. She should take a Customer Service course at one of our many fine area colleges. Rumor has it that they are trying to attract a younger clientele...do you think they have checked to see what the average age is in the area? Obviously, they have not done their due diligence.

The interior design was strange as if they couldnt decide on a theme. I originally went for sushi, only to find out they dont have it anymore but still advertise it on their sign outside and online. My first and only alcoholic drink (a blueberry lemonade with vodka) tasted like flavored water. I drank half to see of the alcohol had settled at the bottom and when i sent it back with the complaint, it wasnt taken off the bill. The yuca fries with spicy ketchup were delicious, but came off trying to be too fancy (its wedge fries and ketchup for $8). My waitress ignored that we needed more water the rest of the night (maybe i had to ask? Ive never been to resturaunt where i had to ask for refills of water). To add, the place was dead 2 hours before close and i felt i had walked in 10 to close the way we were treated. The eggplant parm was awesome with a good amount to take home for $11. The salmon pasta however, an oily mess of strong flavors. The salmon was cut into chunks and stirred in with equal parts artichoke, which is a strange way to serve the fish and made it look like a kids meal. I had one bite of 2 strands of pasta and the flavor stuck in my mouth. All three of these dishes were served with a strange abundance of pesto around the side of the plates. No bread was served with the pasta dishes, and there are no salt and pepper at the tables. 3 times she came by to ask about the food or desert, and she had still not gotten us refills of water. The staff are dressed in no uniform with someone wearing a bright orange shirt and someone wearing zebra shorts. I liked that this place is trying to do something different, but too many different things made it look like a mess. Between the food and design i was unimpressed and dissapointed. I hope to see it improve.

Very disappointed with my to go order.. Ordered the Chicken Satay and Potstickers which they were out of. So, i picked up my Chicken Satay and its 4 strips of chicken in a small to go box with no Skewars!! I asked about the skewers and the hostest says* Oh, We don't do that*.. For $8.95 for 4 strips of chicken..Never Again! I wish i could take a photo😠😠

Went there last night with friends. The waitress was very good and attentive but after we got there a party of 8 came in and after that we could not talk across the table it was so loud. Someone said they were friends of the owner. I have never been in a restaurant that was so loud. My ears are still ringing this morning. And I was burping the meatloaf all night. Looked like something from a Swanson dinner. Wont be back. Terrible management.

Is there a negative star because that's what this place deserves. We went here for our anniversary and boy do I regret that decision. First of all we went at 445. There was not a soul around. Went to order a drink and the lady said she couldn't make it. Then ordered the pot roast and they didn't have it. Ordered meatloaf instead and asked for gravy on it instead of the ketchup they put on it and they have me both. Gross. My mom ordered a salad to go and we found a gelatinous unidentifiable object in it. Would attach a picture of I could. So i can easily say this is the worse meal I've ever had especially when the 3 staff kept constantly staring at us. Save yourselves and don't go here.

I WISH that I had READ the reviews before going. The (choice) prime rib taste like something that was frozen, reheated in a microwave then tossed on a grill for 2 minutes per side. Mine was ice cold in the middle for medium well but somehow it was cooked. Can you say partially precooked frozen? The cook was almost yelling saying medium well is supposed to be cold in the middle. WOW. Great attitude and wrong. When you bite into it the meat doesn't feel fresh and tasty. It's more like muck and yuk flaking apart. Maybe that's why the dining room is empty. I predict a failure of a place if they don't get in line and put some caring work into the food. They need to be visited by a real cook or something. It's a very nice setup, It looks elegant and the plating was very nice. But the food was lacking. I would guess it was due to trying to be cheap with product and having it over seasoned to try to cover its lacking flavor. We frequent Prime Steak in Port Charlotte on Cochran Blvd. Maybe they should go there once or twice and learn a real taste for food. For $15 more we could have had a nice meal at Prime Steak. Lesson learned! Sorry I had to leave this negative review. I haven't had to leave one yet. Until now. I feel physically ill from their food at Torch.
