I enjoy their ice creams. I wouldn't dare eat the food because I'm not trying to have a heart attack. But the ice creams and the atmosphere is is good.

"The Most Sot After Wiener In The World"! Yeah.... Nothing beats a Chilli Cheese Dog, loaded with onions, here! Though $60 is a big chunk of change, (feeding family of 6). I still must go from time to time. Hope this helps in some way.

They only allow you to go to the drive-thru which is very efficient because they have very fast service. The people who take your orders are very patient and kind and give you suggestions on what you may want.

This Wienerschnitzel/Tastee Freez is where I hang out when my husband visits Full Score Music (record store) in same shopping center. I just had a Diet Pepsi while visiting this week, but it's as good as any Wienerschnitzel. Nice clean place serving hot dogs and ice cream.

Order with Chili Cheese Fries and Onions, two Chili Dogs, and two Corn Dogs... It was very very good ! ... Thank you... About 9:30 PM, on Monday 10/19/20.

I moved out of state over 5 years ago, first day back visiting this was definitely on the bucket list. Same owner and same pride was evident, although now the owners grandson was behind the counter. Thanks Dallas. BB

It's like every other fast food chain very well clean the morning staff are the better of the two of the shifts the management that's always there every morning is very nice and remembers us and our orders

Typical fast food, but the ice cream for dessert was great. I had my grandkids with me and the employees were very courteous and helpful and went that little extra to make their treats special.

The food was really good and I enjoyed the new items they had, the Cucumber Lemonade!

Love this Wienerschnitzel. It's easy to get into, well kept up, everything is clean and the staff is very nice. Food is always delicious.

Suuuper quick service, food was clearly just made, so it was fresh. If you get the chance to try the chili fries, do it, they are personally my favorite thing carried. You can also buy the chili on it's own if you fancy making something at home!

Ever experience is lil different, for teh most part havnt had anything to complain about this location. 45th an Ave L Qaurt hill. Havnt at here in over a year since I stopped receiving paper coupons. Can not afford the outrageous prices.

They were very friendly, I had the barbecue barbecued brisket and it was delicious. My friend had a hot dog She said it was good. The French fries were delicious, too! I will be going there again soon to get lunch for my husband and me!

Great food and the staff is very helpful. My wife has certain likes and dislikes. The staff had no problem adjust the food (take away or add) to accommodate her preferences. Very tasty and food was still hot when we got home (about a mile). Will go back

Can't get enough of their Polish sausage product! Sadly, they've got a ridiculous policy forcing the customer to beg fir a straw--never mentioning they purposely ommited the straw.

Wienerschnitzel has been around since I was child. The fast food available here is enjoyed by most people and is the same wonderful variety of hot dogs served all these years. In addition, over the years, they have added many delicious foods to the menu including hamburgers and fries. The chili cheese fries are my absolute favorite food from Wienerschnitzel.

Food is always fresh but they over charged me on accident last time I went but other than that it's a cool place. Drive thru is always fast

Ave L location is much better than the Ave J location. Coupons save you a lot of money.

Not quite the bargain it used to be, but nice variety! Fries were surprising good, hot and fresh! Can't beat chili cheese dogs! Try the Nutter Butter shakes, they are AMAZING!!!!!

We like to go there when we have their coupons for discounted prices. I like their chili cheese fries 🍟. We get a good portion for a good price.

Childhood restaurant. Been pretty consistent over the years. Good food made quickly. They rarely mess up an order and fix it quickly without a bunch of drama. You'll find employees are more easy going and less entitled like what you'd find at a McDonalds or Taco Bell.

Update 9-26-25 : no coupons are needed for a fair price anymore. Food is real good. Update (8-29-24) They have gotten sneaky by giving out a $5 off coupon but the food is $12 dollars more. A chili dog (no cheese) is $4.29 and a large fry is $5.29 even after using the coupon you are still paying $3.50 per item (appx) it was appx $1.66 per item using the old "deal coupons" at a set price, which was a good deal. Now it it just a ripoff. I can go to a sit down eatery for that kind of money. . OK I have to update..went there last night (5-11-24) after Bonnie answered the phone and told me as long as I have a coupon code on my app I could get the deal..1st of all it was nice that an employee answered (Bonnie) the phone when I called...most fast food joints do not answer the phone...instead they would rather have you drive down there with a question which is B.S., with today's gas prices. My total bill after using the coupons was about the same as it was 4 years ago...I was very happy. Food was hot, staff had just dealt with a drunk lady who had thrown food everywhere...yet they just shrugged it off, and were very nice. As long as you have coupons the prices are fair...if you don't...Ouch !!! GREEDY !!! GREEDY !!! Update: 3-25-24 Food was good, prices were B.S. Corporate Greed at its worst. Update 4-8-22: Just called and John answered the phone, said the dining room was open again (Yes)...John had a good attitude. A secret I use...ask for extra chili...it does cost more but you will get enough chili for sure. Staff was top notch (friendly and efficient), food was fresh, the chili dogs were pathetic...no meat and looks like they painted the chili on with a brush...SKIMPY this is the 2nd time my chili dogs were SKIMPY (SKIMPY 1.5 years ago?) I went to the Wienerschnitzel in Bakersfield 1130 Union Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93307 THEY ROCKED !!...you not so much. probably my last visit to this one.

I really enjoy this Wienerschnitzel. I’ve been going for a long time and they are often open late. Their quality is consistent. You don’t want to get the chili cheese fries late though. The hotdogs are still typically good before closing. I have to ding them out little bit because they’re on sporadic issues where you might wait 50 to 70 minutes in line for two or three cars and there are times when they can only except cash. Also the food at Wienerschnitzel is good but definitely more towards three or four stars. The other locations in the area are a little bit easier to get through

Pretty good wieners, we like the chili dogs, little sad that they didn't have the meal combos that our favorite has for 4.99 sans drink and 5.99 with a small.

Food is good but they are out of control on prices. Kids bag almost $7 I don't go here to often any more.

I love to eat at wienerschnitzel but I got I'll after eating there last night. Don't know if what I ate made me ill or might have been what I had for lunch. This will not stop me from eating there again.

This was my first time here but it's in an older strip mall on the corner it's an older building and tell you the truth I wasn't impressed. My food was overcooked but this is was only my first time here so I can't give a true an honest review not until I've been there two or three times.

Not bad for a hot dog fast food Pricyi not for their five for five deal. I usually only go there when traveling with my dog Missy..shes a huge fan of the corn dog with mustard . So I usually treat her once a month. She would be the one writting a stellar review like an L.A. Times food critic if she could write.....

The workers here are great they are very prompt the food was fresh seemed like it was just cooked. The only problem that I do have is that weiner snitchels is extremely overpriced for one Kraut dog and one large fry and a soda it was almost $11. Because of the over priced food for the quality of food that is the only reason I will no longer go to any Wienerschnitzel's ever again I used to love it as a child but things change. But I have nothing but good things to say about the Quick Service in the very friendly workers🙂

Mini corn dogs are very good. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The freeze they have are also good, they could use more peanut butter cup but they are good on a hot summer day. My daughter also likes the chili cheese fries here, but they are a little pricey for the amount you get. Overall a good quick bite to eat, but as with everything prices continue to go up.

I have absolutely no problem with the food, staff, or cleanliness however they no longer have trays when you dine in. I had to use an upside down drink lid to put ketchup on for dipping my fries. Thats my only complaint but its a frustrating one.

The food good but service took too long for ice cream.

The visit was something we haven't done in years. The corn dogs were not cooked, but it was ok for the kids.

Shake was melted. New employee says that's the way the are made. I'm upset because a Manager gave New Employee BAD information. Last time I'll go there. I've been going for 25years.

The chocolate dipped cone was good, but they took forever to get the chili dogs and didnt have the potato dippers and still had the sign up and an associate came out with a half smoked cigarette hanging out of his mouth and a nasty look on his face and ripped the sign down after we suggested they should remove it.

⚠️ warning!!! Monica isn’t in a good mood. I have never had someone be so sarcastic and rude. I have never had a bad experience at this location till today. When I asked her if I could get a different shake because the one she handed me had turned into water and was barely mixed- she said” that’s how they come out” and then handed me my food and with a eat $h!+ grin and said “ you have an absolutely fantastic day (sarcasm)” side note just called and Monica is the Manger. Find a replacement Wienersnitzel.

Very rude. I literally just ordered two things and they literally were saying is that all after every second and when I pulled up they had there window opened and stocked their head out and I was barely leaving the speaker and she gave me my card and just closed the window while I was talking. I don’t want to be a Karen but at times like these y’all deserve it.

Their chili recipe has changed and it is not as good. Also I ordered 2 chili cheese dogs, 1 fry, 1 small shake (not very good) and it was $16. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and had a full dinner for that price. I won't be back.

My husband, granddaughter and I are there a couple of weeks ago and were very disappointed. The prices were higher than they should have been for the quality of the food. The staff wasn't motivated or friendly. It was clean.

Got charged for 12 poppers, only got 10 in the bag. Got charged for a kraut dog. It didn’t have any kraut. Already home so not worth the hassle to go back. Won’t be back for another 6 months. Again. Because not the first time they’ve failed to properly fill an order. They also aren’t answering the phone so either don’t care or know they’ll get calls complaining.

I drive by Wienerschnitzel everyday and decide to give it a try. Never again! It is definitely over price. One hot dog I paid $5.90 for. Thinking it will be delicious I went home my order was wrong. I had to go back to the restaurant. Got the correct order and it's garbage, presentation is horrible! Fell apart after the first bite. Bacon is all fat. Never again!

After walking in and being ignored for 2 minutes with 3 people behind the counter working, one doing drive thru one flipping burgers and the manager Jordan acting busy with the hot dog cart, i was rudely greeted by an employee asking what can I get You? I placed my order for a 3 ice creams 2 of which were banana splits and a couple fries, the entire time the counter person was rude and inconvenienced with my order. I then was waiting 10 minutes for my order within that time I was given one freezie. While helping drive thru and the manager still being busy with the hot dog cart I was then told they were out of bananas in the back. I then asked for a refund and asked why it took so long to be notified that they were out the counter person told me she was busy with drive thru. No apology or anything so I asked for a refund which the manager made no effort to right the very inconvenient waste of my time not even a sincere apology. The whole situation from their side was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I got my refund went down the street to Baskin Robbins and purchased my banana splits from there where James was very friendly and happy to take my order. I will not be doing business at this location again. I believe in customer service and their service was very poor and unprofessional. Being a personal friend of the owners family I will be sure to pass this on to them as well. I gave them a one star rating and they didn't even deserve that.

My rating would be a ZERO but oh well. I ordered an ice cream cone from this place and when they handed it to me there was barley any ice cream in it! I asked the worker politely if he could remake it and he refused!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! I’ve been to the weinersnitchel on Ave K and they always give a huge ice cream cone. Not to mention it’s 50 cents cheaper! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN

Honestly used to be my favorite place ever and everytime the past 3 visits my food looks like it was just thrown in paper and shoved in a bag all my chilli was missing because it was replaced by the wrapper... As well as the prices are really high now.. it was like $4 for a chilli cheese dog 🤦🏼‍♂️

Food was delicious as always! BUT.... I was offended when the cashier assumed that i gave her counterfeit $1 bills.. I paid my tab just like everyone else but because i paid in ones and they were new/stuck together, the cashier decided to crack a joke and say "wow you sure did print these good" why would this be something to joke about. Especially in these times. I would never go back to thia establishment and i may even take this racially joke to court. Since its so funny!

These workers you have are rude! The oriental young lady was ignoring me as I was wanting to make an order. She stood by the window the whole time, ignoring me as I said "Excuse me" the 2 other people in the back ignored me as well. I think they need to learn better customer service.

I paid and I took my card back and said “thank you” he didn’t respond he just continued his gossip with his coworker and shut the window in my face. It took them 15 minutes to give me my food which I didn’t understand because I was their only customer and then on top of that everything was disgusting. I almost threw up. This place needs to be reported to the health department because people can get sick. I see why there were no customers.

Found a maggot and eggs in the drink lids and didn't get half of my order. Would not recommend.
