Pan made sure we had one of the best dine-in experiences ever! Her hospitality and attentiveness made my fiancé and I feel so welcomed. The place is cozy, intimate and clean. The food was absolutely amazing, flavorful and fresh. Definitely coming back! 😋

My girlfriend and I were in the area (far from home) and stopped in here because of the great reviews of authentic flavors, good service and portions. We must agree with what everyone else is saying, Ma Kin serves up delicious curries, eggplant, fried rice and very interesting and creative appetizers including one shrimp, pork and mushroom dumpling which the chef offered us a sample of. Thank you! They were delicious and looked as good as they tasted. Next time we are in the area we'd love to sit and explore more of the great looking menu, and confidently venture from curry and fried rice with the guidance of the friendly and skilled staff at Ma Kin.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to have a late lunch with my sister. This is a nice little restaurant that definitely gave the feeling of a “home” vibe. I loved that the owner had their story attached to the menu which kind of gave a little of the thoughtfulness that went into the menu items. We ordered Tom yum soup which came with 3 shrimp and I must say it was delicious. Perfect tartness and spice. I had the red curry with chicken and my sister had the Thai fried rice with chicken. Both were a decent size portion, might I say even shareable. Both dishes were flavorful. My favorite item was the butterfly blue iced tea. Sweet, refreshing with a strong after taste of tree bark. Try it, I promise you will enjoy it as much as I did. My sister and I were both surprised at the total bill because we got take home orders and it still was such a great price overall. Very budget friendly restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Thai food and will definitely be visiting again to try other menu options.

This place is very intimate, not to mention that the Thai food is amazing and delicious! I tried their pineapple fried rice with chicken. I highly recommend it. It does contain cashews, for those allergic to peanuts. The staff was also very attentive and polite. Go and check this place out. You will not regret it!

1st impressions last a lifetime. I was in the mood for Thai and after a quick google search, Ma Kin happened to be walking distance from my home. Fon was very pleasant. She greeted us immediately after walking in. The place was very clean and bright. On to the food: I had the Shrimp roll & The garlic chicken lunch special. My wife had the chicken Pad Thai. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh. After going thru my dish, I was leaning over eating off of my wife's plate. I will be a regular. Thank you Ma Kin!

Really love the changes new ownership has made. All of the food I have ordered has been great. Very nice people over the phone and a great option for food in the neighborhood. I’ve heard the dine in experience has improved immensely from others and have to try it myself one day. (More room to sit inside and great service). Most definitely recommend. (Particularly the eggplant and Pad sea yew.) Update: also had dine in now, and food was amazing and service was great!

This place is darling. It is cozy and comfortable. The food was incredible! The service was superb. The young man taking care of our table was the gentlest kindest soul! We got the massaman potato bread, fried tofu, eggplant tofu, mixed seafood entree, Thai iced tea, mango juice, lychee juice, and Mango Sticky Rice! Wow. All the flavors were wonderful! So delicious :) The mango sticky rice was EXCEPTIONAL and so fresh!!! All of the sauces were so falvofyl and amazing too. Everything was cooked really well and plating is thoughtful + artistic 🎨 Mmm. Just mmm :)

I was visiting NYC with a couple of friends from Singapore and we were craving for some Thai food. What made Ma Kin so extraordinary is the attention that they pay to the dishes they prepare. Every dish is so yummy and truly authentic. All the dishes are excellent and my personal fav would be the Nam Tok Soup with Pork. The Pad Thai is amazing as well. Great service, good food. Highly recommended!

Excellent hidden gem in Middle Village. The food is flavorful and fresh. We had crispy cream cheese,crab meat fried rice,spicy century eggs with crispy basil and Ma kin Kanoom Jeen Nam Ngiaw.It is pretty nice,cozy and clean place.The service is great. Definitely will be going back!

A true mom and pop Thai restaurant with an impressive authentic menu for Northern Thai food! Food is delicious you'll want to order the whole menu. Small and intimate dinning experience made it all the more a VIP experience. I refuse going elsewhere for my Thai fix.

I’ve only ordered takeout, once through uber eats and once through their website, and you might as well just order through their website as it’s cheaper and all deliveries are made by their in-house staff anyhow, which is very fast. It’s a little pricey but Thai food has become expensive almost everywhere these days. Can’t recommend Ma Kin enough.

In Queens where you can get the most best Thai food outside of its homeland, this little shop on the southern tip of queens is a gem. Get the ma kin kaprow if you’re new and get a Thai tea to wash it all down. Been ordering here for quite a while now and it’s something that’s always stayed the same with no issues.

Surprisingly good Thai for the area. Enjoyed the roti with massaman curry which isn’t found at many Thai places. They also have a blue tea which tastes like Chrysanthemum tea. Refreshing and delicious on a summer night.
