Love, love, love. Never a bad sandwich. I had the combination, HUGE!!!!. It was delicious. You can pretty much put whatever you want in it. Can never go wrong with there Philly steak. Also had Onion rings and fries. They also have pretty good zucchinis

My veggie sandwich came just how I like it with avocado and mayonnaise and 3 kinds of cheese, red pepper, mushrooms, red onion...no need to modify anything. Highly recommend!

Very good takeout-style deli food. The bread on their sandwiches are firm yet moist, without being soggy or stiff. The cheese steak has a great texture with a lot of flavor, and the tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions are fresh and juicy. Though the price may seem a bit much, the portion sizes are excellent - to such an extent that a single sandwich is a meal in its own right. It's not something I'd eat all the time, but its a good treat when you want simple and flavorful sandwiches.

First time here the other day and MAN was it GOOD!!! Better priced then a lot of sandwich shops and the portions are BIG. Best onion rings I've had in a LONG time. Had the turkey avocado and hubby had the Chipotle cheese stake. Everyone enjoyed their food and we decided it would be a redo for sure.

One of my favorite sandwich shops. Been going there for years. The pickles are amazing. Love their ranch horse radish sauce. I have eaten the Ranch Roast beef (#8) sandwich probably 30 times. They have great service and the prices are fair. This is a locals favorite place for sure.

The Deli is a Cucamonga institution. We've been enjoying it as long as I can remember. The smoked turkey avocado is our favorite. I've tried all the sandwiches the meatball is a close second. I call my takeout order in as it can get pretty busy around lunchtime.

We had a great time here. They have full sandwiches. We had the French dip and the steak and cheddar. They also do lettuce wraps which looked delicious! You can tell from the crowd that this is a local favorite. We would love to come again!

Reminiscent of a bygone, more simple era of life the Delis is a great place to come by to grab lunch-- the ambiance adds to the savory mouth watering taste of these homemade sandwiches. The people who work here are nice and helpful as well. For over a decade I will say my favorite sandwich is their steak sandwich- you can never go wrong choosing the Deli.

Have always driven past here and finally stopped by. I always avoided it because I thought it was exclusively outdoor eating only to find out there’s a whole seating area indoors. I had the pastrami dip and it was fantastic. My niece had the tuna melt and my girlfriend the grilled chicken. We all left very satisfied. My niece and I also shared an egg salad sandwich which was fantastic and the Cole slaw was good too.

Always the best service fast I got my food in 10 minutes fresh sandwich they are great. Update May 19 just went in there for a sandwich and some fries sandwiches are always good. Get my order in like 10 minutes. The fries are usually always good. They switched them up this time though they now have the little dinky fries instead of the big steak fries I’m not a fan of the little dinky fries The steak fries they used to have and much better taste. I’m not sure what happened. I won’t be ordering the fries from there anymore.

The fact that this place is so unknown is a disservice though I think they like it that way. Do yourself a favor and try this place! Inside the restaurant it is really old school and has a mom and pop shop feel. You don't find many restaurants like this anymore. You can smell the food being cooked from the kitchen which always smells great. It usually has a good amount of customers but I've never seen it completely full. The food here is great, everything that I've tried has been top quality and flavor for the price. Their bread is toasted just enough and the meat is tender and flavorful. Their chili cheese fries are amazing. They really cover the entire plate with chili which is seasoned well. Finally for the price you pay and quality you get, they really do provide hefty portions. I have no complaints about this place. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend.

Went here for the first time for lunch today. We enjoyed it! My husband had a cobb salad and I had the smoked turkey and avocado sandwich - and both were very good! The sandwich even had onion rings in it, which was so fun and tasty and gave it a nice crunch. Pros: -great cobb salad great turkey avocado sandwich with onion rings in it -great serving sizes! Salad was big, and the sandwich was huge! I definitely could have halved it with someone (I saved half for tomorrow) -healthy! -reasonable amount of seating (outdoors) Cons: -I didn't think the fries were that good. -My husband's salad came with garlic bread... and it sadly wasn't very good either. :( -$11 is a bit much for a sandwich.... but if I had realized how huge it would be and had planned to share it, then I suppose that's a great price. ;)

The price for the sandwiches are up there but it's worth it because the meat is fresh the ingredients are fresh as well and the service is excellent and the place gives a homie feeling come and check them out they will make you feel right at home and go and support this family business and remember they are very professional and very nice so when you come try out some things you never tried because everything on the menu is delicious

Fast service, good food. I'm not sure if I liked sitting inside or outside more. Inside has a little train that circles the dinning room and outside has a fountain and ivy on the walls. All in all a good experience for decently priced yummy food and good atmosphere.

The Deli is a true gem that is a must try for anyone who likes great food at very reasonable prices. It's funny because I've must of passed this restaurant tens of dozens of times without it ever catching my attention but when we finally stopped by for a bite we were impressed with the taste and rustic feel of the interior. We ordered the patty melt meals and enjoyed them tremendously. They have a condiment station and a garnish bar area. I was really blown away by how good the food truly was. I would recommend anyone in the area and hungry for a bite to stop by. 5 out of 5 stars.

I was really impressed! I can't believe this is my first time going after hearing so many good things about it. My daughter got a hamburger. She really enjoyed it especially the french fries. I had the Italian sandwich and it was excellent. The bread was fresh, the meats were fresh and it was assembled. So nicely. Nicely. It has a rustic interior that adds to this nostalgic vibe. There's also a nice little patio and lots of parking. I look forward to going back.

There was a nice shaded area outside of a walk up window where you could order very accessible. I got the steak and cheddar sandwich and it was very delicious. They have two menus on the outside shaded patio. Nice looking place and great customer service excellent food the bread was fresh on a 10 inch french roll.

Very cool sandwich shop. You can eat in or take out. They take call in orders which is nice. Recommend Smoked Turkey Avocado sandwich. They also have a good veggie sandwich. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Big parking lot. Convenient location on corner of Archibald and foothill. Highly recommend. Will visit again.

Tried The Deli for the first time and it did not disappoint at all ! I had the Italian sandwich and the pastrami dip both of them packed flavor and were made fresh the rolls are extremely soft and fresh the place might not look fancy but it has the best pastrami in town better than the Hat !!! also they have the beat customer service and they are extremely welcoming i highly recommend this place

So good. Dropped by while on business at the suggestion of a coworker! No question I’ll be back next time I’m in the area! I ordered the BBQ sandwich only complaint was it was too hot to eat all at once! The service was great the atmosphere is great the whole restaurant is great!

We tried the meatball which wasn't bad. The turkey avocado we liked this one but unfortunately they forgot the onions rings. The Italian sandwich this on was good. Lastly the steak with jack cheese and anaheim chili this one was delicious. Their regular fries were ok now their parmesan fries were way better. We will definitely be coming back here to continue ordering from their menu.

It was good, we ordered the Italian Sandwich. I have never been but my husband had been several times a few years ago. We were in the area and saw the long line and decided to stop by. The meats and cheese were delicious and fresh, I only hoped they offered olive oil and vinegar but they had an Italian dressing that was ok. The Deli located at Archibald and Foothill is always a good bet for a nice lunch stop. They have outdoor seating with a nice view of the mountains. There menu is quite extensive and everything is made to order, so no soggy fries. The hamburger combo is a favorite coming with fries and a soda for $4.99. They have weinie Wednesday and if you go inside you can load up on condiments. Everything you order here is a hit from Cajun Chicken Sandwich to Pastrami and sauerkraut on Rye. All very fresh and good. The service is great.

I have done both dine in and take out. Staff is great. The food is always delicious. I have only ever had one problem and it was when one sandwich was forgotten on a large order. Partially my fault. I stop here frequently on my commute.

My wife and I tried their 1/4 pound hot dogs and fries. The hot dogs were delicious! All beef and the toppings were high quality. The fries were pretty disappointing. You could tell they were frozen (not fresh cut) and they were severely undersalted. I would definitely recommend trying their hot dogs sometime especially on Wednesdays when they have "Weiner Wednesdays" and they're about a buck each.

The cashier was pleasant food came out fast and was fresh. I had the Monterey Spicy Steak was very good.

I know this place has been around forever, but this is my 1st time checking it out. Atmosphere is good, a little small, food was great, the only thing that really bothered me were the tables, the wood felt sticky, like yrs of old polish on them, they should consider tablecloths cause otherwise you might think the tables need to be cleaned.

Small town atmosphere. Good foood! We had chicken sandwich, cold roast beef sandwich, double cheese burger. All super good. Their onion rings were top notch. Seriously, go eat there.

I’ve been going to The Deli since I was a teenager and I have always loved them. The food is fantastic and you can’t get any better than The Deli. My hands down favorite is their beef dip sandwich. The flavor, texture and bread is all really great. I also highly recommend their Parmesan garlic fries. They’re delicious!! The only complaint is they charge $18 for a beef dip sandwich, which is incredibly expensive. I understand that the ingredients may be expensive right now and I respect that. It’s still too expensive though. No matter how delicious it is. I will continue to get them because I’m a loyal customer and I love the food and service, but I just had to comment about that. But thanks for your delicious food and I wish everyone the best!!

The burger combo I ordered was okay big chunks of lettuce, which i smashed in order to be able to bite into, thick tomato slices and lots I mean lots of mustard, which I scraped off, looked like a 6 yr old put the burger together. Fries were great. Husband really liked his pastrami substantial amount of meat he said it could have used more mustard. It was all in my burger lol. I would go back and try one of the sandwiches but that day I wanted a burger.

What happened to the service here? This used to be my go-to spot. Two times I called to place an order, I was put on hold immediately. After waiting for 15 mins on the phone, i figured they had forgotten me and hung up. Today I tried again. I called and was put on hold immediately. After waiting, I was finally able to place an order. When I arrived to pick up my order at the window, I was ignored for 10 mins. Other customers walked up to pick up their orders but the employees ignored me. Finally after 15 mins of waiting at the window, one of the employees said she would help me after she finished what she was doing. I sat down and waited for another 15 mins. After the other customers had picked up their orders and left, I asked if my order was ready. I found out that my order had been sitting there. My time had been wasted. I was furious. The employees don’t seem to care about customer service. They seem apathetic and checked out. This place is a local gem, I hope it stays that way. Ps, try their turkey, avocado, and onion ring sandwich, add bacon.

This place has good food, and I like supporting small businesses. However, I do need to point out that some prices are a bit much. A veggie sandwich shouldn't cost as much as the meat sandwiches. Over $8 for bread and some veggies?? Smh. Also $1.99 for a TINY container that holds about 4 bites of macaroni salad was super disappointing. I do think the kids meals are well priced though, and the curly fries are very tasty. They do fill the sandwiches nicely with ingredients.

Cool old depot building. Train track around the wall with small electric train, historic photos of the area. The food was reasonably priced. The cheese burger was good. The sandwich came with way too much sauce, the wrapper had as much sauce on the outside of it as the sandwich had in it.

The sandwiches here are really good, But $17.85 for one sandwich?? And they don't offer a half sandwiches. Which is a shame because I can hardly finish a whole one. I can go somewhere and have a full sit down meal in a restaurant for $18 a person.

First time here, was craving a sandwich and found this place. As soon as we walked in I noticed the place is super old and outdated. Most tables were occupied and the ones that were not were dirty. We got a table and it looked kinda clean but it felt sticky, idk if it’s because it’s wood and it’s old or because they don’t clean them often. Anyways I got a club sandwich in a French roll and my husband got the Monterey spicy steak, imo they’re super expensive I understand everything went up but $42 for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and fries! They sandwich was good but not the best sandwich that I’ve ever had, will I return? Maybe but only to go, the place needs a deep cleaning and new tables and chairs. Plus the lady making the sandwiches was wearing a no sleeve top with her armpits exposed, I’m not expert but used to work at a restaurant and we could never not even servers wear a no sleeve shirt, it’s just not professional and not hygienic.

place used to have good service now when i go in the person takin orders doesn’t seem they even want to, constantly have to double check my order for items that are always missing and when i do gotta walk in there they don’t believe you want to check receipts and then no sorry when they realize they were wrong and waisting time.. time to go back to some old spots

A terrible place. The Sierra Lakes location permanently closed down and this one is on the way out. It's not just the bad food. They have terrible service. They have been rude to me and to other customers I have seen while there. While their pastrami dip can be good, they have difficulty getting it right and it's difficult ordering it without creating friction with the staff. You can tell them no cheese ten times and they will add cheese because "that is how it comes.". I feel bad for the Sierra Lakes location as I believe they were sold to a nice family but unfortunately the large women they hired to work generated a lot of bad reviews. The last time I was there she said while I tried to order a pastrami dip with no cheese and no other changes: "Look, I am just a minimum wage worker.". Prophetic words. Careful who you hire.. This place was once an icon. RIP.

The prices have been pretty high for awhile now but I never cared because the service and food were always great. Not anymore. Completely different. Not sure why there's such high ratings for this place. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could. We tried this place on a Monday afternoon as our favorite go to place, Johnny O's, was closed. I ordered the patty melt and a coffee. The meat had ZERO flavor and the carmelized onions had a weird, vinegar taste to them. They had no cream for the coffee other than powdered creamer. On the plus side, their prices were decent. Been there, did it, won't be back.

I can’t believe I waited 25 minutes for a burger and fries. It is absolutely insane and not OK. I wasn’t even able to eat my food on my lunch break because you guys took so long to make it. I am mine blown on how long it took you to make a burger and fries There was only five people in line. It also took you five minutes to take my order!

This place is Overrated and overpriced. 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks with a side of zucchini fries for $42. I Wouldn't mind paying it if it was better quality. The tables are sticky and not cleaned after use. The pastrami tastes like it came out of a buddig package from the market. We ate inside And we had to keep swatting the flies away from our food.

I used to love eating here at the Deli. But lately they continue to over charge for subs that are lousy in portion size and quality. The sandwich had hardly any beef, and it's a beef dip! 10.19 they charged me for this! I'm done with you Deli. There are PLENTY of great sub and sandwich shops in Rancho!

I really wanted to like this place. I passed by it nearly everyday. But when I tell you i have never felt more violently ill from food before in my life, I mean it. I had gotten an Italian sandwich from this place that tasted a bit off, but I though maybe it was just seasoned differently than I am used to. After a while I took the sandwitch apart and smelled the meats. The ham in the sandwich was the most acrid and gag inducing smell I've ever experienced. I let the staff know I believed their meat was bad, to which they pulled out a tray of ham and flipped through it telling me how fresh it is and how it isn't bad. I didnt care to argue and went home. Last night I did not leave the bathroom and here I am a day later still in agony. I can only hope the staff check their ingredients more often because I don't beleive the meats were still good.

07/20/24 Sat. Around 5:30 p.m. I was craving a sandwich so decided to go to the Deli and purchase a club sandwich big mistake was very disappointed. The bread was burnt hard to bite. As you see there’s a line in the bread which it was sliced or I don’t know what happened as soon as I opened and took the first bite everything felt out cause it was hard to take a bite. The club sandwiches usually come with ice berg lettuce not shredded cause it falls apart. I don’t know what happened the disrespect by giving out this bread I travel a few miles away from home just for this !!!!! I didn’t returned it cause we were very tired. I am very very disappointed. PLEASE check your food before they give you something that’s not edible
