Wow, what a hidden gem! I can’t believe I’ve lived in the South Bay for so long and never tried this place before. I was invited by a friend to meet here. I ordered the butter chicken with plain white rice, naan, and Chicken Katakat (spicy). My new favorite authentic Indian local food spot! You’d better come hungry - their food portions are plentiful and very reasonably priced!
Started with the papadum and pakoras (not pictured), both were delicious and recommended. For mains, we had the chicken tikka methi and vindaloo, which came with a large plate of basmati rice. Both dishes were fantastically flavored, and the portion sizes were very large which made the prices reasonable. The vindaloo was not as spicy as I have had elsewhere, but the flavor made it one of my favorite vindaloo dishes that I have tried. We got the garlic naan. I would have preferred an option of a variety basket of naan, instead of paying for each type individually, which would be a lot of bread. We will definitely return.
Had a late Valentines Day and decided to try this place at the last minute and everything was great! It was our firt trying Cashmere Indian Food, they were all delicious. Owner and Staff are very kind too.
BEST Indian food in the South Bay! Whenever I'm visiting home in Redondo Beach I have to stop here... getting take-out for the last year but I came to dine in tonight and I always over order because their food is so good! Addi is super friendly and personable. Love this place!
Very nice North Indian food . Ambience is good . The service is better .. always prefer to go place within Torrance and Redondo beach and manhattan beach areas
Amazing food!!! I ordered the chicken curry and Paneer Makni and both were very tasty! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff was super nice! If you’re craving Indian food, I highly recommend this place!
Excellent vindaloo and service. Closed Mondays. Looking forward to returning. There's limited parking in this small strip mall.

The food and service were great. It took a little while for them to take our order, but since I was catching up with friends, it didn't bother me too much. The atmosphere was nice, it is a small restaurant, but somehow still spacious. The food was really good and the portions were huge. We ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka, lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo, and veggie samosas. Each of us ended up taking a big bag of food home from the leftovers. I will definitely come back.
Very romantic setting, Service is always amazing, Quiet setting meant for couples and older folks or families not so much younger children, but could be if they’re quiet. It’s just a very small quaint, romantic atmosphere. Great ambience
My wife and I have been a customer of Addi's Dabar for several years. We know the owner and the staff very well. We consider the owner a personal friend of ours. He is very humble and takes care of his customers well. The flavor of the food is from Northern Indian. They will make any dish to your favorite level of spice...from mild to spicy. The dishes that we've had from the menu are outstanding! They have a great wine selection and a few Indian beers to choose from. Addi's Darbar is the best Indian food in the South Bay...In fact, it could be the best Indian food in Los Angeles. We recommend Addi's Darbar to anyone who wants to have a nice low key dinner and enjoy Indian cuisine!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Addi is truly one of a kind — the kind of man you don’t come across often. He’s thoughtful, resilient, deeply intelligent, and full of a quiet strength that leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Whether he’s showing love through the smallest details or pushing through his own struggles with grace, Addi does it all with a heart that’s rare and real. He’s the type of person who makes you want to be better — not because he asks for it, but because being around him reminds you what real love, loyalty, and authenticity look like. If you’re lucky enough to know him, don’t take it for granted. He’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of man — the kind you don’t just meet, you remember.
Addi’s Darbar Indian Cuisine is a fantastic spot for flavorful, authentic Indian food. The dishes are rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, with plenty of options whether you like things mild or bold. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, from the curries to the naan. Addi always greets us with warmth and inviting energy, making it great meal to come to. My boyfriend's family has been coming here for years and when I had came, I fell in love with the food and the people.
Every dish we ordered was good. Staff is very friendly. Because they don't have a big dining area, it could get very noisy. Barring that it's one of best Indian food I've had. I go there for their malai kofta, it's the best!
A friend of mine introduced me this wonderful Indian restaurant I couldn’t believe how delicious it was every time. I’m in town. I’m a Canadian actress and I love my Indian food. I asked my friend to take me there and they’re very professional very friendly very accommodating. thank you for your delicious And it’s all fresh. I’m not greasy. Thank you for having an excellent restaurant in California. It’s the best 🦋🙏🦋🙏🦋🙏

Let's be honest, the Fourth of July is usually a culinary wasteland—a holiday of questionable pyrotechnics and even more questionable soggy pizza. But on this particular Fourth, a figure emerged from a haze of cheap firework smoke. It was Addi. He surveyed our little block party, took pity on our souls, and uttered the eight words every food lover dreams of hearing: "My restaurant. It's closed, but for you? Open." What followed was pure, unadulterated chaos. The block party vanished as grown adults engaged in a frantic game of human Tetris, cramming into cars with the desperation of people escaping a natural disaster. We weren't just going to dinner; we were on a mission from God, a high-speed pilgrimage that deposited us at the doors of "Addi's Darbar Indian Cuisine." The place was aggressively closed. Chairs on tables, lights off, the whole nine yards. There was no menu—menus are for mortals. Tonight, there was only one commandment: Thou Shalt Eat Chicken Tikka Masala and drink unlimited wine. Oh, the Tikka Masala. My taste buds, which I had long suspected had packed their bags and retired to Florida, suddenly woke up, threw a rave, and started doing shots. The sauce was a creamy, sunset-orange dream, and the chicken was so tender I have to assume it spent its life in deep meditation, probably doing hot yoga and listening to whale sounds. This wasn't food; it was an epiphany in a bowl. The beverage situation was governed by a single, beautiful law: "If you can see it, you can drink it." This led to the "Addi-tude Adjustment"—a full-system reboot for the soul, administered via a firehose of surprisingly good wine and champagne. Service was handled by Addi himself, who treated an empty glass not as an oversight, but as a deep, personal failure. The man was a whirling of hospitality, a ninja ensuring no one's happiness dipped below "ecstatic." VERDICT: You can't find "Addi's After-Hours Emporium" on Yelp. You can't book a table. The only way in is to become close neighbors with Addi. If a man smelling faintly of fireworks and pure generosity ever makes you this offer, don't walk, run. It's the American dream, just with better food and a much more liberal booze policy. Thank you, Addi for your generosity. We owe you one.

This spot has one of those genuinely festive neighborhood vibes. We stopped in on Christmas Eve and the place felt like a small community gathering—families celebrating, people wishing each other Merry Christmas, and a lot of non-Indian diners who clearly come here often. The food is excellent—rich, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. A few dishes lean heavy on cashews, so it’s worth checking if you’re sensitive, but the flavors are fantastic. The service is especially warm and accommodating, which adds to the experience. It’s a small space, but welcoming, with solid vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and a good wine selection. Always happy to come back
Hello! 2nd time trying Indian Food This Restaurant opens for dinner at 5pm. You can make a reservation. The Portions are big so we ordered 6 plates and shared from all 6 for a party of 5. The rice is good but ive had better needs a bit more flavor! The Menu has aloot to choose from! The place is a bit small and needs an update. The service was great! Lots of parking prices are very affordable.
Excellent food that is served piping hot! Service could be better, but being served hot food is more important to me! Love their Lamb dishes! You should try the Mysore Aloo (Potato) Samosas! Yummy!!
I enjoyed a nice dinner at Addi’s Tandoor, although not the best Indian food I have had it was a good meal. My favorite part of Indian food is breakfast the next day, I usually use the leftovers to make an omelette, the curry sauce from Addi’s made and excellent breakfast! I will stop by for another meal next time I crave Indian food.

Please note - We did not have good experience. Called and left two messages for the owner with the manager and he never cared to call back . It seems owner does not care about his food or his customers. Very disappointed . The manager was apologetic and he told us that he has given the messages to the owner but owner does not care . Summary: We went to this restaurant for special treat for our friendly 85 yearly old couple total four people (4). The service was Ok but the food was way below expectations. Ordered Tandoori fish and they gave us 5 small pieces of Mahi Mah which was chewy and and could not Swallow . For main course order Chicken Tikka Masala , Rogan Josh and Sag Paneer . The Chicken Tikka masala was sweet with all gravy and hardly any chicken , Rogan josh the meat was so chewy that we could not eat . Sag Paneer was full of oil and tasted awful. Tandoori bread was OK ..The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouth.. We have been to dozens of Indian restaurants and never had such a bad food experience such as this . We know Indian food very well and adding sugar in food gravy for north indian food is unheard off.. It seems this restaurant really needs to take cooking classes to cook Indian food . We spent over $200 and I will tell any potential customers going to this restaurant to think hard before you go to this restaurant .. Stay away sad to say
