It's a small place, but don't let that fool you. This is by far my favorite donut place. I try all the fad places as they pop up, but moon Donuts is just amazing. A different menu of Donuts each time, with really fun and inventive flavors. A watermelon donut? Matcha? Cronuts? Mochi donuts? They do it all and let me tell you, they do it right. My favorite, however, are the breakfast sandwiches. Put together on house made croissants (or bagels if you prefer) with fresh made meats and eggs, it's hard to describe. You really have to try it if you like breakfast. Five stars, easy.

Moon donuts is so great. The place is cute, not large. It is very clean and parking is easy and free. It is located in Redondo Beach which is a lovely area. We were going to have lunch after getting donuts to go, but their food looked so good we stayed there and ate inside--still taking our dozen home. The food is so much better than any donut shop I have been to. We decided to get several things and share. We had a bacon, omelet and cheese croissant and the croissant was perfect. It was light and fluffy and freshly made. The egg omelet and bacon were perfect. We loved their egg, hash browns and cheese burrito. It was so yummy. Their sausage, egg and cheese bagel was on a fresh egg bagel and was ever so good. We all had coffee which also was great. I never thought I would find such a great lunch at a donut shop. Their donuts are so good. They have a huge selection and if you order in advance you can have them make Happy Birthday donuts with the name spelled out on several donuts or whatever you want. It is such a great idea. I don't care for fritters, but my grandson does and he declared this the best fritter he ever had. Their glazed donuts are soft and fresh. They also make some of the cutest donuts with little animals on them and you can even get frosted cheerios on a donut. They also have all the donuts you would expect at any good donut shop. The service is really nice and they get your food order right the first time. We will be back.

Loved the donuts and flavors offered. I tried the regular glazed donut first hands down the best so you know everything else will be great. But I do believe the traditional glaze was my favorite. The Nutella Cronuts were so good too! We didn’t have one don’t we didn’t like. My son loved the strawberry cheesecake. My husband liked the house special. Anything you have will be fantastic. Only thing I would make change is the chocolate glaze is too thin. But still tasty.

Tons of unique flavors to choose from, all delicious! The coffee and Thai ice tea is also well balanced. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are low to the area also

This place has the best donuts I've had in a very long time. We tried the glazed donut holes, strawberry nutella cronut, and the blueberry cheesecake donut and we were blown away at the flavor and freshness. I will no longer crave Krispy Kreme nor the sham that is called Randy's Donuts ever again.

Looking through the glass and seeing them all nicely stacked dark brown caramelized edges was like in the movie Jerry Maguire “you had me at hello.” This reviews is for the Apple fritter only but after looking at all the displayed Donuts they had at just after five am, I’d make the trip I’m sure they have u covered. Price $2.25. For the area not bad 4stars Size - above average but not a true gut bomb that will keep you full till late lunch. 4.5 stars Prepared- absolute perfect 5 stars. A perfectly cooked apple fritter is where you can reach into the bag and pull off chunks at a time with a soft gooey center hard caramelized edges with chunks of Apple and this one nailed them all. Typical AFs will wow you with size but will fall well short with taste, texture, and use standard glaze. This one does not. Truly a top 5 Apple fritter. If you are jonesing for an AF, this place is worth the drive or run as in my case.

Stopped in after seeing all the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. The donuts are great, especially the cream cronut. Bought three and the owner threw in an extra one! Definitely recommend this place, might just stop by another time before leaving town.

Great customer service, we had a sugar and a chocolate raise donut and it was delicious. Donuts were nice soft fluffy but moiste and not dry. Not greasy. I love it. They had other donuts too it looks great but I didn't get to try it.

They also have regular parking if you need it. The donuts are delicious and affordable, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. What really makes this place stand out is that it opens at 4am! I’m sure there are others that open early too, but this is the only one I know and they've been doing it for the past 30+ years. That kind of dedication definitely deserves 5 stars :D!

Great customer service, we had a sugar and a chocolate raise donut and it was delicious. Donuts were nice soft fluffy but moiste and not dry. Not greasy. I love it. They had other donuts too it looks great but I didn't get to try it.

They also have regular parking if you need it. The donuts are delicious and affordable, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. What really makes this place stand out is that it opens at 4am! I’m sure there are others that open early too, but this is the only one I know and they've been doing it for the past 30+ years. That kind of dedication definitely deserves 5 stars :D!

Blueberry cheesecake donut was really good, and not sickeningly sweet like so many fancy donuts are! Had real fresh blueberries, cheesecake topping was good, I would get that again. Lavender donut was good, but I didn't taste much lavender? Devil's Food donut was one of the worst donuts I've had, it was somehow flavorless, with very sweet icing and a burnt-bitter undertone. That one got tossed barely eaten. Also, the store is pretty inaccessible to anyone using a walker or even just on crutches.

Apple fritter was burnt. Value was bad. $22 for 8 donuts- 3 custard, 1 jelly, 2 maple bars and 2 fritters was quite steep. Disappointed in size and quality. Might be good with more exotic donuts that they have.
