Nisou Reigate

This is our regular neighbourhood favourite and boy are we lucky to have Nisou. This is the ideal combination of great food and great hospitality. Anthony and the team operate at the highest level delivering outstanding friendly customer service from breakfast through to dinner. We've eaten here multiple times. For dinner the sharing boards are a wonderful way to start, we love the lamb kleftiko when it is on the menu, the stifados are wonderful and the souvlaki is always a comforting choice. If you have room for pudding get involved too. Our biggest concern is always make sure we book so we get a table!

Nisou is the restaurant of choice for my friends and I when we’re celebrating a birthday, or just catching up. We love the food and the staff are always lovely. We went yesterday evening for dinner as a special meal for my friend who is moving to Australia. I messaged the Team on Instagram and asked if the restaurant could do anything to decorate the table. They were really keen to help and had put a card and flowers on the table for us. I really appreciated the effort and it made it extra memorable for us.

Really nice comforting food in a comfortable cosy setting. All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Portion sizes were generous and no issues with finding tasty vegetarian options on the menu. Loukoumades for dessert were a highlight.

This was my second time to Nisou and the food was just as fantastic as the first. I had the king prawn saganaki and it was 10/10, great portion size and delicious.

Vegan options available! Lovely service and drinks and food were simply delicious! We were offered a comfortable amount of times for water refreshments which never goes amiss. Could really tell there’s a lot of love for this place and in it. Noticed how kind and patient the staff were which is going above and beyond. A birthday party had been hosted during our visit and how they helped the more elderly guests out of the door down the rather steep steps! They also kindly offered and took a photograph of me and my family as we struggled with a group selfie. It meant a lot. Getting together is a treasured activity and this place is the perfect for it. Very calming place; emotionally and visually. Would definitely recommend/ revisit with someone new for the same warm experience :) visited myself form recommendation

I can’t believe I hadn’t been here sooner! We had a fantastic breakfast experience—everything from the food quality to the attentive service was spot on. The atmosphere made it even better. I had a Greek Coffee and Yia Yia’s Breakfast Table, both of which were great. It’s a perfect spot whether you want to sit in for a meal or just enjoy their fantastic coffee. We’ll certainly be back for breakfast again and can’t wait to try the lunch, and dinner as soon as possible!

We had an absolutely fantastic evening meal at Nisou in Reigate. The service was truly exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere transported us to another world. Each dish we ordered was a culinary delight, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. It was obvious that a great deal of care and passion goes into every aspect of the dining experience. I just had to steal something of everyone's plate to try it. The Nisou team anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Providing a friendly service, 5 stars 🌟. Now I don't have any diet restrictions myself: but this is the first time my gluten diary free 'pain in the butt' friend could order pretty much anything from the menu without it being anything special. Well done Nisou 👏. A memorable and enjoyable meal, I highly recommend booking Nisou to avoid missing out. Personally I am already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their wonderful menu. Next time I am ordering the king prawns… They even do breakfast and coffee.. I will have to go back.. just so I can update my review, 😆

The most wonderful breakfast. This was my first time visiting and they really make you feel like family. I've just booked dinner for Friday as it feels essential to show this place to as many people as possible!

Absolutely incredible food. Two warnings, limited parking around and the tomatoes were super hot! Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal, great value and quantity. Coffee was rather awesome as well

We had a really tasty breakfast and cheesecake with a delicious coffee. Food was natural, not overpowered with seasoning and different from traditional breskfast. Will be coming again to try lunch and dinner menu. Service was great too.

Fantastic spot for a coffee and breakfast. I’m sure their other menus are equally impressive 😊 Aesthetically pleasing, calming and homely with a family feel. Absolutely will return & has jumped up to spot #1 on my Reigate coffee list! Thanks team.

Booked a table for 8 recently, food was outstanding as well as the service. A well run establishment with great atmosphere. Going back soon! Sorry, didn't take any photos as was having a great time!

We popped in here for a coffee whilst waiting for an appointment and oh my goodness what a pleasant surprise! Perfect coffee, beautiful cakes made in house and the most wonderful service and atmosphere - we felt so at home. We are from out of town but would strongly consider returning to try out the fab looking dinner menu!

We had a very nice first visit in Nisou this month. Booked ahead to celebrate my wife's birthday and the entire process and communication was smooth. Props to their entire team for having top-notch customer service and always having a kind smile. We loved the ambience and the cozy feeling of the place. The quality of the food is excellent, very delicious and really worth your money. Would definitely recommend this place.

Been to Nisou a few times in the last couple of months and it's always fab! The team is so friendly and Ant has been great with helping organise the 2 events we've had at the restaurant. Food is always tasty and authentic. A real gem in Reigate

Fabulous dinner last night at this lovely little restaurant — great atmosphere, friendly people, and such a warm feel. It felt like being on holiday. 100% recommend.

Wonderful place with an authentic Greek atmosphere and food. Feels like you are on holiday! The food is delicious and cooked from fresh. When I explained I couldn't have dairy, they cooked everything fresh and could ensure mine would be without dairy. The staff were so welcoming and helpful when reccomending dishes. The location of the restaurant is perfect as you can park on the road outside. I can't reccomend this place enough! I will definitely be back.

I attended to have a quick coffee and treat and it was fantastic! The coffee was made perfectly and the little biscuits were great. I looked around and the place is comfortable, with a homely feeling. Only days after opening I saw lots of people waving at the staff inside and you can tell that it’s one of those places that are at the heart of the community.

We visited Nisou for the first time on Saturday for a family meal and wow!! Fantastic!!! Friendly and welcoming staff (couldn’t do enough for us!) delicious food and such a wonderful atmosphere! We will certainly be recommending and back again soon!! Thank you so much!!

I visited Yiayias with my family for breakfast this morning and was blown away by the service and food. The pancakes were delicious and the owner overheard me saying I’d like to try the Cypriot sausage so brought some out for me to try which was so kind. They are also dog friendly and gave our dog some treats. Highly recommend this lovely independent restaurant and can’t wait to visit again soon for lunch/dinner!

Absolutely amazing! This place is elegant and spacious with an awesome authentic vibe. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. The pork souvlaki is so tasty; the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection, served with home-made crunchy chips. Authentic music in the backround that adds to the whole experience. Highly recommended and I am definitely going back to try new dishes from the menu.

First time at Yiayias last night throwing a friend's mini babyshower and I can't fault it. The staff are so friendly and even helped me decorate, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely and chilled. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon!xx

Wonderful food, lovely hosts and gorgeous interior. We shared a mixed mezze platter between 3 for £30. The lemon & yoghurt cake is one of the best I've ever had.

What a lovely lovely restaurant!! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a big smile and seated quickly. The service was fast and every staff member we met were super friendly. The food was just fantastic and portions were a perfect size. I had been so excited to go to Yia Yias and our visit there truly exceeded my expectations. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy more of the delicious Greek food!!!

Lovely fresh food, amazing service and great coffee!

My husband and I had dinner at Nisou for our wedding anniversary, it was a lovely meal and the service is exceptional. They immediately recognised us having been in only twice before for breakfast and remembered my husband was vegan. They were very accommodating to his dietary requirements too. The breakfast was equally brilliant too, everything tastes very fresh and the coffee is great! If we lived closer, we would be in there every day haha, and it wouldn't be too terrible on the wallet as everything is priced so reasonably!

Amazing place , we are from out of town & had a maps failure & they actually came to find us to guide us in ! The food was amazing & well worth the trip in . A hidden gem .

This place has easily become one of my favourite spots after just one visit. The food was incredible and the service impeccable. The staff really cared about the experience and created an atmosphere that we couldn't help but smile in. It is a bit of a walk from the high street but it is worth every step of the way and, if anything, it added to the tranquil atmosphere. I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing experience for my Mum's 80th. All the ladies on duty were so friendly and made sure she had a special experience. With apologies to the lady who was clearly a native English speaker but nevertheless got complimented on her English skills by Mum.

I would 100% recommend this place, I’m not even a client I was an Amazon driver that delivered to Nisou but without fail when I would pass by I had to stop for a coffee and a chat. Oh and did I mention the coffee is amazing. If it was not an hour away now I would still be going consistently. Miss it already.

What a great little place. We could have stayed all day. Felt like we were in greece. Service is great and food really authentic. We had lunch menu. They mentioned different menu for breakfast and dinner. Recommend booking as very popular

So where do I start. Staff super friendly and polite. Greeted with traditional greek music in the back ground. Made you feel at home. The food was delicious. From Chicken souvlakia to Kalamari octopus and whitebate. Cooked and taste like being back in Cyprus. Finished off with loukoumades and cypriot coffee for desert. Will be coming back for sure. Nice little cosy restaurant tucked away in the heart of Reigate. The entrance is a little bit steep but once inside the service and food are very good. Chicken souvlaki was made with thigh meat, which I usually don't eat because it can be quite greasy and chewy, but that was not the case here. Yia Yia is one of the few restaurants around where I had no digestion issues the next day - everything seems fresh and still very tasty. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Love the food here, but this time the experience wasn’t great. Staff is friendly, but we waited 40-45 minutes for our breakfast, and no one came over to update us on waiting times or to ask if we needed another drink. I don’t mind going up to the counter myself, wich I did, but when a service charge is added, you do expect some level of service. The long wait was made worse by the noise. I understand it’s a family-friendly place, but a couple of tables had very loud, shouting children. Not the restaurant’s fault, of course, but it did affect the overall ambiance. --- Following up from Nisou's reply, thank you. To clarify, as I feel like somehow you don't believe me, we booked a table at 10.15. (Might have arrived a couple of minutes late due to parking issues)At around 10.55- 11.00 we asked about our food and the waitress brought it out shortly after. Not sure what your CCTV is showing, but I paid at around 11.15 wich was right after we ate in a bit of a rush as we had somewhere to be. I wouldn't have mentioned waiting times if it had been a wait of 20 minutes, we just thought in this case, it was too long,specialy when nobody bothered to let us know that there would be a long wait. You have my booking details and you will clearly see we waited a lot longer than your average 20 minutes on the day. It is not worth emailing you the details, I just felt I would clarify timings. In terms of the noise, like I said, it is not Nisou's fault, but it was worth mentioning so other people are aware that it can be busy and noisy and not ideal for a relaxed morning breakfast.

Disappointingly average experience at Nisou last night. Great service but the food was disappointing. The seafood mezze was generous in proportions but the whitebait was far from fresh (my partner was ill in the night and all she could taste was the fish). The moussaka was served molten hot and lacked both texture and taste. Coffee was fabulous though.
