Trinca

We popped in on a Friday night for drinks and a dessert and it was absolutely wonderful. We were also given some focaccia which was the best focaccia I’ve ever eaten. The dessert of apple cake came with a Prosecco custard which was just glorious. Absolutely delicious and can’t wait to go back.

I had a late lunch here a few weeks ago and was very impressed with what I found. The cocktails here are lovingly made and are perfectly presented. I had a small dish of lamb kofta which was amazing. Tasted wonderful and looked beautiful when served. The service at Trinca is also very attentive. This place is intimat and classy. Perfect for a small group or a romantic evening for a couple that love fine dining. Trinca is definitely a hidden gem which will hopefully receive the fuss it truly deserves. Ive booked a table for tonight as a surprise for my wife. I'm confident that she'll love the food as much as I did on my last visit.

Tiny little neighbourhood restaurant with delicious and authentic Italian food and wine - what a find, especially as it's walking distance from home! Loved the fact we could eat in the Italian way and share a divine bowl of pasta cooked in front of our very eyes, before moving on to the meat course (melt in the mouth lamb cutlets) with limited (or maybe even no, I don't remember now) carbs, meaning we still had a tiny space for dessert. Perfetto - complimenti ragazzi, ci rivedremo presto! (PS The bench on the side of the bar isn't the most comfortable place to dine, probably fine for a glass of wine, so ask for a spot with a stool for max comfort.)

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The staff or lovely. Everything about it is just great. My only niggle is that they need Vs next to vegetarian options. Don't go. This is my secret

Trinca is an amazing restaurant! Just 8 covers, compact menu that changes every month and great wine/cocktail list. All of the food is cooked to order and with four of us, this gave a great version of a 7 course tasting menu, with each dish arriving on its own for all four of us to share. The food really was superb, with everyone voting the risotto as the best risotto we had ever had, anywhere. The service is also just right, attentive but not too much and with excellent advice right across the menu. We all really enjoyed it and will definitely be back again. A L

A lovely intimate little restaurant with fresh delicious Italian food. Me & my partner came here for our anniversary and had an amazing evening. The great food is accompanied by an amazing array of wines & cocktails. The homemade coffee liqueur is 10/10. Louisa was a fantastic host & Lorenzo a top chef! You leave feeling very well looked after! The homemade coffee liqueur is unbelievable!

My wife and I had a fantastic lunch there. It’s a tiny place and the food punches well above its size. Beautiful flavours and very interesting textures. All plates are main courses portion sizes but worth having two plates per person if you are hungry. Large wine selection in bottles and a good amount of wines by the glass. Highly recommendable. Parking is a bit of an issue but there are residential streets near by with free parking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Trina’s, we received a friendly welcome and sat at the bar. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. A little gem of a restaurant we will definitely visit again.

Gorgeous, cute restaurant which serves stunning homemade Italian dishes with a lovely glass of wine to boot. The owners and staff are all lovely and a great ‘local’ spot for a nice lunch. We’ve been a few times - the menu changes weekly and we’ve never had a bad meal here. Check it out!

What a little gem, and long awaited in the area. I have tried their wines (good range and very different from what you find on the high street or even in other places) and these are outstanding. Food was simply divine, you have to try a few dishes as they really are exceptional. A must experience, every day ! My favourite spot

The food is so delicious - we went last week in the evening and had such amazing food that when we spotted one of this weeks dishes on instagram we went on Friday lunchtime too. A great atmosphere, wine collection and other drinks, everything is amazing but the food is another level. We’ll be back!

Wonderful experience. The food was excellent, as was the service and wine selection. They told us the menu was designed to be shared, 3 dishes between 2, at approx £18-24 per dish. So on the pricier side but worth it for the quality. Very small so definitely recommend booking.

We went to Trinca this Weds for my birthday and this was the 2nd time we have visited. The atmosphere is fab the food of the highest quality and service is as you would expect from an intimate venue excellent. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The menu changes regularly and the chef takes a huge amount of pride in the presentation. Make sure you book due to its size but make sure you GO as you wont regret it.

Wow. What a wonderful concept. Just like having a personal chef ... Delicious food in gorgeous, tiny, bijou designer setting. Chef Giulio excels and pretty much cooks to order and in your time frame; and lovely Luisa is his perfect front of house. Extensive and unusual wine list Nowhere like it. A must do experience. Highly recommended.

Spent a lovely evening as a group of 10 family and friends at Trinca this week. Food was lovely, we tried a bit of everything. They even adapted a dish so our vegetarian niece could try it as well. We are always made to feel so welcome and the wine selection is dab! Highly recommend 😀

Myself and my husband had a lovely dinner at Trinca, and we were there previously for a quick lunch and wanted to come back. At Trinca you feel cudled. The place is tiny and cosy, so kind of have to come in with the right mindset. Menu' seems to vary monthly, and everything is cooked freshly as you order, with high quality ingredients. Wine selection is vast and different frkm.high street restaurants. Will deffo be back soon!

Visited for a birthday treat after following on Instagram for some time. It was everything I'd hoped for - delicious food and friendly service. I'm delighted that such a high quality restaurant is only a fifteen minute walk from my house. I will definitely return (I'd go every day if I could!).

When here for our anniversary. Lovely meal, lovely hosts and lovely wine. So you guess it we have a lovely time and will go again. Yes it's pricey but worth every penny.

A real taste of Italy! If you are looking to try something different than the usual Italian food this is the place to be! The chef and owner Giulio has always brilliant ideas of new dishes to present. Menu changes every week which is a plus!

After the successful opening of The Roasting, the opening of Trinca is something completely different. Thanks to a refined menu, you will be able to enjoy some peculiar Italian food, cooked and served in a very elegant way, introducing you to different traditions of the Italian kitchen. Both food and drinks are of very high quality. Not the usual Italian restaurant, finally!

This was our first time eating at Trinca but it definitely won’t be our last. The restaurant only seats 8 people in total with 4 of the seats around a small central bar. It is a true gem and we had a wonderful evening full of amazing food, good wine and impeccable service. The food is all prepared out of the smallest galley kitchen I’ve ever seen - hats off to the owner/chef for what he presents out of that tiny space! Can’t recommend it enough and thank you.

We were recommended this place by the airbnb we stayed at, this weekend. This place is a hidden Gem, Unique italian restaurant experience.. it only holds 8 people, yes that's right 8, here u get that Personal touch, all food is cooked fresh by the chef infront of you, the atmosphere is fantastic, The food is out of this world, the pudding are to die for... cocktails are delicious. You have to experience this place, its one of a kind... Thank you trinca for a truly magical dining experience. Best way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary.. We will see you again

This really is a cute little place to go to, wine selection is great but menu choices limited, but having been there now I understand why. One chef, cooking to order on his own, which in turns means a very long wait for food. We ordered 5 dishes between 4 of us and it took almost 2 hours to receive them all. Whilst they were beautiful I’d say slightly over priced for the portion size. But it was a lovely experience and we had a nice evening but left a little hungry.

Trinca is a beautiful concept - small number of covers, intimate feel and a weekly changing menu that explores different regions in Italy. Not to mention an impressive wine list. The service was really friendly and professional and the chef took time to talk to guests and explain the menu/concept. The standouts for us were the pasta and the dessert. One piece of feedback is it would be nice to include some smaller starter dishes on the menu. We'll definitely visit again!

We went for dinner and found the food average and the prices very high for small portions. The dishes are starter portions at £18each. The beef was tough the caramelised chicken was just chicken strips served in crystallised sugar caramel. The dessert choice was limited and we decided not to try after seeing them sent to other diners. We left hungry and disappointed. They seriously need to rethink prices and portion sizes. On the positive side they have a good wine selection.

Was looking forward to this given the high reviews. Interesting location, food overpriced for what it was. I think there is some element of fake profiles rating because it cannot really be a 4.9! Won’t be going back.
