Decent and high quality Indian food. We tried 3 different curry, all of them are good and served with a bowl of Indian rice. The plain naan also tasty and freshly cooked. Lunch set add up £2 will have an appetizer with enough portion. If the weather is good then it would be much more comfy to sit outside to chill and chat. Price is ok and there is off street parking at the street behind the restaurant.

We had a very tasty lunch on Sunday. We had the summer feast, which comprised of 7 courses. All the dishes were very good.

Absolutely loved our visit! The food was incredible, appetisers, with every bite full of authentic flavours. But the real star was the masala chai — hands down the best I’ve ever had. Special thanks to Arun, who took such great care of us. His friendly demeanor, expert suggestions, and attention to detail made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place — i’ll definitely be back!

I have visited Cinnamon Bazaar in Richmond, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Arun provided excellent service, and the food quality was impressive. More over The ambience was stylish and welcoming, complemented by a beautifully designed bar offering Indian-inspired cocktails. The curries were flavorful and well-executed, offering a modern English twist while still respecting traditional Indian flavors. Overall, Cinnamon Bazaar offers excellent food, good service, and a vibrant dining environment

Highly recommended Indian restaurant in Richmond. The food and drinks were delicious and many options to choose, the interior design was great, and unique, the service was excellent, the toilet was clean. 10/10 in everything. They also have kids menu.

Amazing service by Bhavay and the team. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with a warm smile and sat quickly. Bhavay was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us chose the most wonderful meal that we were blown away by. The flavours, freshness and quality were bar none. We can not thank Bhavay and the team here enough for a wonderful evening and will be back for another meal very soon. Thank you very much !!!

This was the best meal I’ve had in the UK since we arrived a few months ago. Every dish was delicious and worth ordering again. The service was relatively quick and pleasant. I’m thankful we live nearby because this will definitely be revisited.

I organised a lunch for 10 yesterday, none of us had visited Cinnamon Bazzar before but we were unanimous in giving it 5 stars and will definitely be returning. The only reason we gave it 4 stars for atmosphere wasn't really anything to do with the restaurant but the rather vile weather outside and the very dim lighting in the loos. I genuinely recommend Cinnamon Bazzar and Mitra was charm personified.

i love the atmosphere and visual design of the place, and the food was wonderful! our server (louis) was super energetic and the bartender was great too (chiraq)!

Went for a valentines dinner, From the jump we were greeted by Mirta who was super nice and sat us down. Our server Bhavay was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and had very good recommendations for the menu (He knows his stuff!). The food looked and tasted so lovely! we are definitely going to make this one of our go to spots as it wasn’t expensive either. Great spot all round.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Cinnamon Bazaar. I've previously dined at Cinnamon Kitchen but it was my husband's first experience. We had the dahi puri chaat, beetroot pap bhaji, future 50 kofta (incredible!), naan and sampled some of the desserts. The food was delicious and customer service excellent, our thanks to Arun. Highly recommend a visit here.

The food and service were amazing. It's a great place if you want to try more special dishes rather than the usual Indian ones you get from takeaways. Bonus point for being dogs friendly.

What a great spot! Love the twist CB puts on their Indian cuisine. We had the samosa smash, Shepard’s pie, jungle chicken and nepolese chicken, garlic naan and peshwari naan. Each dish did not disappoint. We would certainly go again.

Well I came back again after almost a year and it was wonderful!! Since the last time I was there I had grown out of my allergy but my mother was given a CUSTOM MENU curated to her allergy. Cinnamon bazaar consistently provides best dining experience with regards to allergies I have ever seen! Aside from that the food was excellent and the service was top class! We had the Paani Puri, the Lamb Roganjosh Shepherd’s Pie and the Tandoori Chicken Breast (so good I didn't get a chance to photograph it before it was finished) We'll be coming back :)

We recently dined at Cinnamon bazaar Richmond, and the experience was fantastic. We tried 6–7 different dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors that truly reminded us of India. Every plate was a delight to our taste buds. A special shout out to Arun, who served us. He was exceptional attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. His hospitality elevated the entire meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and high quality Indian cuisine in Richmond!

We came a few weeks ago for my mums birthday for afternoon tea. We had a really good time and enjoyed the food. It was very filling. We were served by Simer who was very helpful throughout the afternoon and made it a special occasion.

Wow - eye opening experience because we never previously had the opportunity to try Indian street food (only had curry when it came to Indian cuisine). Whoever invented these crispy balls has another dimension of creativity. Simon and Arun looked after us well. Will come back for other items on the menu.

Great food! Great vibe and service. Only downside - I wasn't allowed to choose a table next to where I was sited, even though it was way more warm there. Definitely not nice gesture from the staff, but everything else went smooth

Our server Louis was excellent! Probably the best service I’ve had in a long time! The appetisers are great but Dhal and Samosa Chaat. The Shephards Pie is perfect. I’d be back soon.

Our waiter, Louis, was the best and made our evening so fun. The most delish Indian food in London! Thanks Louis and Chiraq.

First time going to Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond and it was fantastic! The food was delicious: we had the shepherd’s pie, dreamy paneer and chicken biryani for lunch. The mango lassi was fresh and the service was top notch. Most importantly, the food was clearly labelled gluten free (we had a coeliac guest) and the manager ensured to inform us what was/was not cross contaminated which was very assuring! Highly recommend - thank you!

Excellent! We have visited this venue for the first time, usually we dining at the convent garden one and the Richmond one is amazing, great vibes, amazing food. The Diwali manu was fab!

I come back repeatedly for the samosa chaat - it’s the best I have ever had! Indo-Chinese chilli chicken is also great. Love the bright coral and green Indian decor.

I recently dined at Cinnamon Bazaar, we ordered almost every chaat for the table and they were delicious and fresh, in particular the vodka pani puri. The Dabeli, naughty dreamy paneer and chicken makhani stood out as absolute favourites. Restaurant’s ambience added a cozy and welcoming touch. Must visit!!!

I tried this place for the first time during a Diwali lunch. I was a bit worried it might be another average Indian restaurant in London, but it turned out to be completely different. Their lamb shepherd’s pie is outstanding — don’t leave without trying it. The butter chicken with garlic naan is served piping hot, which makes it even better. I also loved their Laal Maas, a dish not many places in London serve. It has a perfect blend of spice and mildness that anyone can enjoy.

We had the most incredible dining experience at Cinnamon Bazaar! The food was absolutely delicious, full of vibrant flavors and beautifully presented, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was our waiter, Sherry. Sherry went above and beyond from the moment we arrived – warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best possible experience. He was so knowledgeable about the menu, gave us fantastic recommendations, and added such a personal touch to the whole evening. His energy and friendliness made us feel so welcome, and he turned a great meal into a truly special occasion. Thank you, Sherry, for making our night so memorable – you’re a star! We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for you again.

We love Cinnamon Bazaar. The food is consistently delicious. We particularly recommend the Paani Puri, the shepherds pie and the new jungle chicken curry. As a family, it’s always our top choice of restaurant!

Very nice food and service. Really enjoyed our time. Don’t miss the Samosa smash and future 50 kofta next time you are here. Bhavay was very patient and polite and all his recommendations were absolutely fantastic. Definitely one of the best Indian eateries in Richmond.

I went to Cinnamon Bazaar in september with a friend for dinner and everything was amazing ! I didn't think to take any photos but I will definitely be back. I tried the samoas, the Naughty Dreamy Paneer and the yuzu/coconut sorbet. We got a complementary dessert, to try the Carrot & ginger toffee pudding, and let me tell you I don't like carrot cake, I hate ginger, but the pudding was delicious ! And I still dream about the coconut/yuzu sorbet 😍

Delicious food, delightful staff. We had the black Dahl, not as black as others I have had but the colour is irrelevant to the deep aromatic flavour. The boatman curry, perfectly cooked king prawns in a medium hot, strong curry leaf flavoured sauce. The chicken biryani was incredibly tender with fluffy rice. Absolutely must try was the aubergine starter; caramelised and spiced to perfection.

Great starters and dessert. Mains were decent but not the best flavor profile in dishes and odd use of pak choi in things.

Visited on a packed Friday evening. Great ambience and a stylish bar with Indian-inspired cocktails — I’ve had a similar one in California called Gin Guleep. The place was extremely busy, so food took a while to arrive. The curries were tasty with a modern English twist, but portions were on the smaller side — fine for one person but not really big enough to share. Even the toilets were uniquely decorated with vintage Indian matchbox art, which felt nostalgic. Overall, a good experience — I liked it.

Plenty of seats on a Sunday evening and the service was quick and friendly. The smashed samosa was a tasty starter. The lamb dish seemed to increase in fieryness as I went. A certain challenger to Dishoom I hope they keep up these standards if they expand.

The restaurant has a comfortable and spacious environment. We ordered a curry lamb with rice, a curry beef cheek, along with naan and roti, a small plate of stir-fried spicy vegetables, 2 beers, and 1 cup of Indian milk tea. The total was £70. The Indian dishes have been adjusted to suit local tastes. The only drawback is that the portions are small.

The restaurant itself is fine. Good decor and can get noisy. As group of 4 we choose different dishes. They arrived really fast, tasty Indian food, not as spicy as normally Indian foods are, I was glad. Bit the portions are not that big and the service was not as individual as we would like. We find that ox dish in an Indian restaurant was a bit of a surprise. We recommend to choose side dishes to fill up thou. The lamb was my favorite. One thing we liked was the wall paper made up of old match boxes. Unusual.

We had a decent lunch at Cinnamon Bazaar. To start we had aloo tikka and smoked pineapple chaat and while the first was nice the second just tasted like tinned pineapple (for £8). The mains were much better, in particular the naughty paneer had a really unique and intensely nutty flavour. We also loved the tandoori chicken. For dessert we shared a pistachio and mango kulfi which was okay but not as flavourful as we hoped and still very frozen (we had to cut it with a knife!). The restaurant itself is very nicely presented and the service was great.

This is our first time visiting Cinnamon Bazaar in Richmond. The service is impeccably smooth and quick. To our surprise the restaurant was a full house and yet the service was amazingly quick and prompt. Jay and Mitra are assets to the organisation. We will definitely come back for their service specially. Must try dishes are the Dahi bhalla chat, samosas with chai, aloo tikki chat and the rasmalai cake. We are definitely coming back here very soon. It’s only because of the portion size I have given it 4 star ratings else it’s definitely a 5. Thank you!

Tasty food and friendly if slow service (was a Tuesday) on the pricey side for drinks, but the food was full of flavour and did not disappoint and well priced. Outside seating is nice but is noisy when traffic picks up, so try and aboard rush hours. Inside had good AC and plenty of tables. Look forward to going back and trying the breakfast.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.5 stars) Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond has a lovely ambience and the service is warm and attentive, which definitely adds to the overall experience. The decor and vibe are inviting, making it a nice spot for a casual evening out. However, the food unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. The ‘Dabeli’ dish, priced at £11, came with just three small pieces and was quite plain and bland in flavour. Starters were similarly underwhelming — lacking the bold and rich taste you’d expect from an Indian restaurant of this style and price point. Drinks-wise, the only beer on tap was Cobra, and the cocktails and mocktails were fairly standard — nothing particularly inventive. Overall, while the service and setting were good, the food really needs a step up in both flavour and value for money. A bit of a mixed experience — nice atmosphere, but the food fell short.

We went to Cinammon Bazaar as family with kids for lunch, no cocktails etc. The kids food was consumed and good value for money. The mango lassis were great. No complaints there. For the adults all 3/4 dishes were disappointing and/or bad value for money. - Dahi Bhalla Chaat basically tasted like sweet yogurt in a puri. Nothing much going on. - Lucknow biryani: the chicken was well cooked but the flavor was really one note. We’re used to more aromatic biryanis. - Tandoori King Prawn: the worst offender. For 23 pounds you only get 4 shrimp and they weren’t “king prawn” sized. And they don’t even give you rice. The salen also tasted of old spices. - The seekh kabab lunch express was altogether tasty and reasonable value. The ambience and service were both quite good. But I don’t think this restaurant deserves 4.8 stars based on the food I had.

We visited here for an early mother's day dinner tonight and upon first impressions we thought the decor was very fun and cheerful! The dinner menu could be laid out better, maybe categorized so that it's easier to locate specific types of dishes such as the curries - especially because the portion sizes varied a lot between the mains. The food was super flavourful, particularly the Toddy Shop Pepper Fry and the Tandoori Kentish Lamb Cannon. However, the portion sizes could be a bit larger for the price of some of the dishes. We loved the desserts, the Carrot and Ginger Pudding was definitely the star of the show! The restaurant itself was very noisy making it hard to hear the person sat just across you. This may have been because it was a busy Saturday night but there were too many people for the space available resulting in the tables being placed very close together. Finally, the service was extremely slow. They seemed to be quite understaffed for how busy it was and unfortunately the long waits did put a downer on the experience. I'd like to come back to try their brunch menu, but hopefully at a much less busier time!

Cinnamon Bazaar, lovely food and excellent service. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. 4 of us as family went there for afternoon tea.. which was a bit disappointing and not what I were expecting. We requested to sit near better decor at back and we were told that that section is closed. Would you believe it? For Sunday afternoon, the place was too quiet 🤫

We ate at Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond on Saturday; the food was genuinely delicious, but the service from the manager/hostess was shockingly poor. We arrived at 18:30 to find the restaurant at least 70% empty and clearly explained that we had just one hour before our train and would be finished well within that time. Instead of seating us inside, we were told the restaurant was “fully booked” and were instructed to sit outside on a busy road, in the rain and cold, under an umbrella. We reasonably assumed that once we had ordered, we would be moved indoors as tables became available. Throughout our meal there were consistently around 16 empty tables for couples and several more for larger groups, yet the hostess flatly refused to seat us inside. When we politely asked whether any credit card details had been taken to secure these supposed reservations, she admitted none had, but said it “did not matter” and repeated that she would not make an exception. Her attitude was rude, dismissive and entirely inflexible – it felt less like hospitality and more like a manager on a power trip. By the time we left, 1.5 hours later, there were still roughly 20 tables free inside. Several members of the waiting staff quietly acknowledged that the situation made no sense, but said they were unable to challenge her decision. The chefs and servers otherwise did their best, and the food itself was very good, but the way we were treated by this manager was thoroughly unkind and has completely put us off returning. If you value being treated with basic courtesy and common sense, I would think very carefully before booking here – or at the very least hope you do not have to deal with this particular manager.

I visited Cinnamon Bazaar a few days ago with around 15 work colleagues, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Both the service and food quality were below expectations. The restaurant only serves halal meat, which limits options for some communities such as Sikhs and Jewish guests, leaving vegetarian choices as the only option for them. I ordered a vegetarian meal and was served what was described as Indian curry with okra instead of curry pakora. The dish felt poorly prepared, the rice was low quality, and the rotis were undercooked almost like raw dough. When we raised the issue, the manager initially said we would be charged extra for replacement rotis. After further discussion, she agreed to swap them at the same price, but this should not have required negotiation in the first place. There was no apology for poor service. Considering we were a large group spending a significant amount, the overall price felt unreasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we expected. Picture of raw dough are attached.

Staff were completely disinterested Ordered the okra dish and we had to try very hard to find any okra The black dahl was ok. Asked to get it bagged up to take away. A container and a brown bag were just left on our table - nothing said. We had to vag it up.ourselves - which is not a problem it just would have been nice to have had that communicated. Had to ask for cutlery Seats were extremely squashed together. Overall incredibly disappointing and won't be back.
