I wanted to stop and check Happy Lemon out just based on the cuteness of it's logo. I had a Bubble Waffle and an Oreo Milk Tea with Tiramisu Salted Cheese. Overall I am pleased. I'd like to try a flavored waffle next time. I like the drink enough that it's going to be hard trying anything else. I expect that I'll be back again - wish they had some sort of loyalty program.
Went here about a couple years ago and almost forgot to write my review, I really enjoyed this place we came around evening time with my husband and atmosphere was very pleasant, quiet and clean. I definitely recommend stopping by all the goodies we bought were so delicious, we bought more to go!
Happy lemon has always been my favorite since i was young when bubble tea businesses just started. Its amazing that they still can keep the same flavor for over a decade. Their salted cheese series has always been the best since I was still in middle school, to me that’s just how milk foam was, and how milk foam should always be. Salted cheese Jasmine green tea is soooooo good! Cream puff milk tea is another all time favorite of mine. Their whole lemon series is so outstanding too
I just recently started frequenting happy lemon this location in particular; and I am more than satisfied with their customer service. My favorite manu item is their original bubble waffle with a side of cream puff dip. Sometimes, it can be baked a little to hard/crispy, but it never seizes to be deliciously tasty. This location has my stamp of approval. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
I usually get the freshly squeezed honey lemon green tea. The drink is very good but I suggest to reduce the sugar level unless you want a very sweet drink. I also like the chocolate waffle and their service is very consistent overall.
I got the jasmine green tea with salted cheese regular sugar, I highly recommend, tasted really good, it was creamy and similar to milk tea. Not That salty, if you don't like sweet I recommend 75 percent sweetness. I got 100 and it was great, loved the drink. I also orders strawberry shortcake shake, I didn't enjoy it much, it tasted like mostly strawberry, I didn't really taste shortcake. And I ordered original bubble waffle with cream puff, I recommend, it had a light crisp and was a little chewy in middle
Ordered the dragonfruit slush and mango lemon slush. Slush was definitely slushy and a the ice bits were a little more chunkier than other places, which I personally prefer. Dragonfruit was more tangy but not sour, and mango was in between sweet and tangy. Would recommend and easily come again
Happy Lemon is my favorite BOBA TEA brand when I was in Shanghai! I am SO excited to try them after a long time!! I ordered the boba milk tea with the puff cream. The favor is so good!! I love their boba so much. Really chewy and tasty. The employees are professional, and they make drink fast. They also have a TV in the waiting area that you can check your order number. That's good and convenient for the customers! Definitely will ALWAYS come back! LOVE LOVE LOVE~
The bubble waffles here are a must-try! The original flavor is perfectly crispy and delicious, especially when you dip it into their signature puff cream. It's an incredible combination that's perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The friendly atmosphere makes it a great spot for both kids and adults to hang out and enjoy a treat.
Staff was great helping us figure out what to order. The drinks are amazing! My daughter got the strawberry shortcake and I got the Vietnamese coffee. They did not disappoint! Don’t forget to add the bubble waffle. Yum!!
Happy Lemon never disappoints! My go-to is the Jasmine Milk Tea with cheese foam — and I’m not gonna lie, the cheese foam here is hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. Creamy, slightly salty, and just the right balance with the floral tea. The waffle is also a must-try — it’s their signature for a reason! Even better when you dip it in the sweet cream that comes with it. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick treat or just craving something comforting, this place always hits the spot. Highly recommend!
After dinner, the kids wanted boba tea, so someone suggested Happy Lemon. My wife got the Classic Boba Milk Tea with 25% sweetness. We also got the Original Bubble Waffle and the Oreo Bubble Waffle. They made our drinks quickly but took a very long time to make the bubble waffles. I heard it is because they only have one bubble waffle grill. My wife really likes the Classic Boba Milk Tea. She said she could really taste the tea flavor and it was good tea. I liked the sweetness level and found it was above average. The Bubble Waffles were OK. The Oreo one didn't have the familiar oreo taste. My kids loved them both, so that's all that matters.
Came here on the recommendation from one of my best friends who loves their waffles. today I got the honey green tea and one of their famous waffles. I was afraid that it would be too crispy for my liking but it was soft and fresh. It was just perfect. Service was great. The guy was very patient and I will be back to try more stuff on their menu.
Yes its an acquired taste. Yes it's unique hence its name. If you come here expecting a miracle drink its not. What it is, a tea, a refreshing drink then it is. If you get things in your drink you're not used to then don't let the taste surprise you lol. If you are willing to taste the unique drinks and be open to it then it's a great blast to your taste buds compared to the other drink stores. This place is unique and has its own place in the drink/ Boba world. My family drink everywhere and many many places as we are in the Boba business. We all thoroughly enjoyed our drinks. We wish the best to this business and happy drinking to all its customers.
Lovely atmosphere! Large sitting area which is great. I really loved the waffle and my drink. They also have the sweetness level similar to Asian countries which is nice to have as I don't like my drink overtly sweet. There is also a huge selection of drinks so I will definitely come back to try other flavors when I am in town. Thank you!
Boba was super fresh and milk tea was not too weak like most places these days. Egg waffles were nice and crisp with a bit of soft chewiness. The extra dip had a great texture but we couldn’t taste any taro flavor in it.
Great spot for meeting up with friends for a nice cool drink and their delicious waffle (it’s a must) . Nice sofa chau it’s to sit back and relax . One of the best place for drinks.
Boba tea flavor is amazing. Waffles have the perfect chewy texture. Boba is always so fresh. Always smells great inside.

My daughter loves Happy Lemon. She likes to order her Boba with lots of extra scoops of Boba and the staff always meet her standards lol

Nice and cozy little boba shop. All staff were wearing masks. Friendly service! The menu is clear and easy to read. Would come back for other drinks!
Absolutely in love with Happy Lemon! The boba itself is very flavorful , for my first time I tried the Okinawa Fresh milk with boba ~ (it’s similar to a brown sugar boba base I normally have) It’s a nice sweet taste to take the edge off from a long day! I appreciate the tapioca bubbles being soft and the right amount of chewiness. I also had the bubble waffle I did not get any dipping sauce but it’s a perfect treat , it has somewhat of a hint of vanilla flavor , and it’s super fresh and warm ! The interior is well lit and the ac is turned on ❤️ This will for sure me my new favorite spot for boba
Always pass by this place when we go eat pho bac. They have finally opened and I finally got some time out the day to give it a shot! They had a cool sofa by the window was providing much vibes for me waiting on my goodies. Got the green tea lemonade wirh lychee and a waffle with taro butter dip thing. So fire 🔥
Bubble waffles were good and the puff cream wasn’t as sweet as I expected. Which is what I prefer anyway. The strawberry shortcake drink has no caffeine and you can make it 75% less sweet which was perfect.
Loved the milk tea with salted cream. The original puff was crispy and soft inside. It did take about 10 minutes to make. Would still recommend.
I used to live in China and had a local Happy Lemon in a nearby mall, and my friend who used to live with me there told me Happy Lemon came to Dallas. I was soo excited! I went on their grand opening day and got a passion fruit tea with boba (it was amazing and just like the Beijing stores). I shared it with my bf and he also enjoyed it, so I bought another one for him the second time I went. My only complaint would be that when I went the second time, they got my drink wrong. I had taken a few sips and realized I didn't get the boba. When I went back inside to ask about it, the staff peeled the lid off, dipped the boba spoon into the boba and then into my drink. This was very unsanitary for the rest of the guests. Please just give customers a new drink or maybe just let them add their own toppings if staff forgot!
I've heard good things about this chain, and it looked so cute in pictures. I went with some friends, and here's my review on what we ordered: Chocolate w/ Salted Cheese - perhaps it's an acquired taste combo, but none of my friends and I liked it. I was imagining it would taste like a chocolate cheese cake, but something about it was just off. Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea - again, not the biggest fan of cheese foam, but the tea flavor was very robust. I would order it again but without the cheese foam. Dragon Fruit Lemon Slushy - LOVED this! Super refreshing on a hot day. Texture and flavor were both great. Bubble waffle - Also another hit, super delicious.
02/15/2022 at 9:15 pm Setting: Clean, plenty of seating, didn’t see any games but it could’ve just been me. Very friendly and helpful staff which was refreshing! Food: Delicious, but slightly pricey. I say slightly because compared to other boba shops this one charges about 50 cents to 1 more than other places. The passion fruit and mango drinks did include natural fruit purée but the taste is overpowered by the artificial sweeteners, they were still good. Their cheese foam is slightly saltier than Feng Cha’s foam. They have a decent selection of fruit teas for those avoiding dairy. Their Oreo waffle 🧇 with puff cream was yummy but slightly undercooked on one side. Overall it was a clean and yummy place.
There is plenty of parking by the boba shop. Staff wore masks and there is limited indoor seating area. A good selection of milk teas, fruit teas and other speciality drinks. Okinawa Fresh Milk with boba: not too sweet and the boba was nice and chewy. Matcha Latte with tiramisu salted cheese: I usually like matcha, but this one was meh for me. Maybe the two tasted doesn’t mix well for me? Unfortunately did not finish my drink. Would recommend if you are in the area!

Kind of a dying store, when I went it was a deserted parking lot... Hopefully more people visit! Went inside, cashier was friendly and accommodating, price wasn't insane but still a bit on the expensive side. I got a fresh squeezed lemon black tea with boba. Boba is extra, and not very good. The day I went it was overcooked with a mushy feel instead of the chewy consistency of fresh boba. Additionally they do not add any sugar inside so it has no inate taste. The tea was excellent, but had a slight bitterness from the lemon peel. Decor was the most chill and funny of any boba shop, check out the buff Squirtle and Charmander on the counter.
I love their mango green tea, and it’s what keeps me coming back. But today I ordered a matcha bubble waffle, and boy was that a mistake. I got my drink within a couple minutes, but then preceded to wait 20 more minutes for my waffle. We asked and were consistently told it would just be another minute. There were a bunch of employees and it wasn’t busy at all, so I don’t know the hold up could have been. When I finally got it, it was broken in several places and almost all the bubbles were caved in. Never ordering the waffle again, totally not worth the price or the wait! Just stick to the drinks.
Prices around $5-$6 for all the different drinks. The G5, forgot the actual name, I think its lemon honey green tea, at 50% sweetness is a very nice and refreshing drink! Nice and bitter and good sweet balance. I bet if you are craving more of a carnival type drink level of sweetness, 100% if you going all out. Strawberry green tea was too sweet even with half sugar I'd call it 150% sweetness maybe it was just a fluke, I took it home and diluted it with more ice and its not saving it. Boba is on the al dente side and not sweet enough. My friend did not enjoy the oreo milk tea but liked the ube/taro type drink. 100% try out their specialty lemon drinks those are amazing but the others, hopefully if you try it out it gets hammered out.

I've been to happy lemon in other TX locations, and this one was not like the others. I ordered the lemon slushy here and it tasted off. Like dirty ice or something. Had to throw away.

I really wanted to like this store because the staffs were nice and friendly but I dislike the policy of not allowing toping on the side at this specific store. I ALWAYS get extra boba on the side as my toddler son doesn’t drink milk tea but he’d eat boba. This specific store doesn’t allow getting extra boba on the side even though other Happy Lemon stores allow that request. They really need to change this policy to accommodate more guest’s. It is not consistent throughout the corporate policy.
such a waste of time!! i usually love happy lemon and went an hour before they closed. but when we got inside there was no one at the front to take our order. I could hear someone on their phone in the back so I called out hello a few times and waited a few minutes. No one came out to take our order, so we left. so rude!!! i just wanted a sweet treat
I ordered green tea with cheese foam and the foam curdled up, but the barista still served it to me. I let it go before I realized there are funky stuff at the bottom of my drink. $7 for a ticket to the ER. Will not come back 🥲
I usually love milk tea, but this one was just way too creamy. The flavor of the tea was completely lost under all the milk and sweetness. It felt heavy instead of refreshing, and I couldn’t even finish it. Definitely not what I expected—wish there was more balance between the tea and the milk.
I really had high hopes for this place. I ordered 6 drinks and all but one were disappointing. I ordered: Matcha Latte w/ Tiramisu Salted Cheese Fresh Dragon Fruit Lychee Juice w/Salted Cheese Boba Milk Tea Green Milk Tea Ube Milk Tea w/Taro Puff cream & Taro Balls Freshly Squeezed Lemon Black tea. I also ordered all of these 50% sweetness since all of my family do not like super sweet drinks. I have never had an issue with any other places taste/flavor because of sweetness adjustment. The Matcha Latte was just a no go. Maybe it was the combo w/ Tiramisu. It was so rich but the taste was nothing from the Matcha. It kind of tasted like a bad taste of chocolate gone wrong. Like it was almost a burnt taste. Dragon Fruit drink was the one I was most excited for and it just tasted like the cheap Chapstick. Boba Milk Tea and the Green Milk Tea was okay. Not the best I have tasted but its drinkable. I felt like it was more milk and really had to search for a taste of tea. Ube milk tea was also okay but I could not finish more than 1/4 of it. Taro Balls were good though! Fresh squeezed lemon black tea was the best one. Refreshing, not too sweet or tart. This is probably the only drink I would go for, but not sure if its worth 5.75 a cup. Customer service was great and friendly. The place is really cute as well and I can see potential if they improve their taste.
I wanted to share feedback about a disappointing experience I had at your location. I tried calling the store several times, but no one answered the phone. When I finally reached someone, they hung up on me before I could explain my issue. This felt very unprofessional and frustrating. I usually enjoy your drinks and have had great experiences in the past, but this situation left a really negative impression. I hope management can address this and ensure better customer service moving forward.
