We came here for our anniversary wanting to enjoy our night and have fun at the Ilani casino, and we found a total gem! Before I begin, I have to rave about Brooke. I normally don’t do this, but I have to. Prior to coming to our table, she was cheering up and comforting a coworker and by the looks of it, her table was also very impressed by how she handled it. Honestly, she should be a manager! We were lucky enough to have her as our waitress. We ordered the three-course meal, 'The Boil,' which is a crab boil that comes with a salad and dessert. It was more than enough for two people—we were definitely stuffed! Make sure you get a Moscow Mule and a Watermelon Sour you won’t regret it!!! We loved it here and are definitely coming back. It gets busy, so I recommend making a reservation if you have a large party. The only bad thing I have to say was the garlic bread it was dry and hard, more like a scone. If you’re like me and love your garlic bread, it will make you sad! Other than that, it was a 100/10 experience. Thanks, Brooke!
Love this place we keep coming back over and over food is always fresh and hot! Service 10/10 even going on a day like Valentine’s Day service was fast! Seafood boil is always a must have if you haven’t had it get it!
This is our go to place to eat when we’re at the Casino! The clam is good but can be salty at times. Their fish dinner entrees are often done well except the salmons is always overcooked! Most of the staff are very friendly and prompt!
Fresh Flavors and Friendly Faces at Line & Lure Line & Lure absolutely nailed it! I came in craving seafood and was blown away by their shrimp and clam boil—a generous, flavorful spread that tasted straight from the coast. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the clams were tender, and the seasoning brought everything together with a rich, satisfying kick. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savor every bite. What made the experience even better was the staff. From the moment we were seated, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell the team takes pride in creating a great experience—not just with the food, but with the atmosphere too. Line & Lure is a gem for anyone who loves fresh seafood and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back!
Made reservations with seafood boil in mind! Got there and our wonderful server, Kane, recommended that my dinner date and I get the two-fer. Choice of appetizer, soup or salad for each person, a HUGE entree of ribs, steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and asparagus to share, and a delicious berry cream cheesecake. Online says it’s $88/person. But it was $88 for everything! Only served Wednesdays and Thursdays if I remember correctly. The staff was friendly and kind. Kane was attentive and you can tell he loves his job. He made our first experience the best!
Our server Kane went above and beyond. I had questions about the menu and was amazing with his knowledge. Harling was a great hostess and just a friemdly great staff. We love it here and love the friendly service we get. Be back soon!! The food was great
I totally understand people have their opinions but, I think some of the folks on here with negative reviews had a bad day at the tables. The service was great and the food was great. The fish and chips had a light batter and the sweets potato fries were great. My wife had the chicken marsala which she really enjoyed. The show stopper was the dessert. We chose the Chocolate Espresso Cake and was it good! Not too rich and the butter cream was cooling to the mouth. Overall great experience!
At $64 per person, the Sunday all you can eat seafood brunch here is an absolute STEAL! Been here twice in the past 2 months and both times the service, food and ambience has been solid. The smoked salmon and lox, Cajun Mac and cheese, and prime rib are my favs—pro tip, get some Dungeness crab legs (you can get them steamed or cold), shell it, and add the fresh crab onto the mac to make a Dungeness Crab Mac and cheese, so good! Love that they plate it up for you too, helps keep the quality high. Staff is well-trained to be very polite and hospitable, it’s pretty impressive to see this level of service and professionalism across the board. Our server Brooke was so attentive and accommodating, she was an absolute rock star with our little family and really made our day!
Kane was an outstanding server, providing an exceptional level of service that went above and beyond expectations. His attentiveness and dedication to ensuring every need was met were truly remarkable. Throughout the entire experience, he served with a genuine, welcoming smile that made us feel valued. His hospitality was nothing short of extraordinary, creating an atmosphere of warmth and care that made the entire dining experience unforgettable.
We had such a beautiful time here! Denise was our host/ server and she was phenomenal! We loved the atmosphere and the live music was so relaxing and peaceful. Such an amazing experience.
We dropped in here for my birthday. The food was amazing. Everything from the drinks to clam chowder to the captain's plate. Service was amazing as well. We will be back!
Got a free stay st the casino, so naturally I came back to Line & Lure This time I had to go for the patio seating. Nice temp, in the shade and a light breeze all contributed to an amazing solo experience. Would highly recommend. Hate the shrimp Caesar, and the shrimp & crab melt. All bangers!
We came here for the first time for my 50th birthday. It’s inside the casino- clean and quiet place. I ordered the Admiral Mary and Chicken Marsala. My husband had the Chowder and Fish and Chips. The food was so good! We ended with the Lemon Soufflé Cake. Yum, yum, yum! We will be back. Ask for Kane to be your server. He’s pretty awesome!
We were seated right away, the cocktails were really good and refreshing. We had the chicken tacos and a seafood wedge salad, both very tasty, then topped off with the lemon soufflé cake, this was good, but there was really no cake about it, it should be called lemon souffle, it was topped with a whipped cream and 2 blackberries. Overall great experience, we'll go back again!
We just went back and everything was great. Our server Brittany was amazing taking care of so many tables I can't count...and giving great service to all of us. Set up is employees serving behind a plexiglass wall (nobody sneezing on the food or using the same utensils) and items you order made fresh from the kitchen included on the buffet (Benedict, French toast, crab boil). If you go don't skip the shrimp and grits, it is a highlight for me and my son. A little on the spendy side for buffet, but the quality of the food is better than any buffet except saltys (RIP saltys brunch).
This was our first time here at Line & Lure and we had a Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍 time. The Food was Amazing and Delicious as well as the Band they had that evening. They were great. We had the Crab Boil Pot and it was Amazing, Soooo Delicious. We will Definitely be back again soon. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗😃🤗 Had a Caribbean Mule was awesome. 😋😋👍👍👍👍👍👍
Came here with my mom for dinner during happy hour. The garlic fries were so amazing , I wanted more. I liked it more then my burger. I didn't like the bread. The meat was good. Next time I go I'll try something different. Mom had clamshell and pasta, she LOVED it and said it was portioned perfectly. There was LIVE music too. Loved the atmosphere. I will be going back again! Recommend during LIVE music, I think that's Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Try it out!
The vibe in there was awesome. Big shrimp and a great dipping sauce. Another great spot for live music. I was extremely excited to try this place. Well worth the trip up to Washington.
Best seafood Sunday brunch in the metro area. There is something for everyone, even the not seafood fans should find something they will like, but to get your money's worth you better like seafood. For the not seafood fans you have prime rib, and another meat option that changes, sometimes smoked ham or roast pork. You also have your pick of breakfast staples such scrambled eggs, french toast, omelettes cooked to order, bacon, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, etc. The biscuits and gravy here are among mu favorite in area. For the seafood fans you have crab legs, shrimp, clams, and you can indulge further by ordering the mini seafood boil, it is mini but you can order as many as you like. Don't forget to order some clam chowder, it is tasty chowder even though they might add too much butter. For desert, they bring you an assortment of cookies, biscuits, and macaroons. My one gripe is I would prefer they return to self serve, it can take awhile waiting for each person to get plated. I recommend you make reservations at least the day before as they can fill up.
I popped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Vanessa expertly guided me through the menu, answering any questions that I had. I notified her of my dietary restrictions and she was able to provide great options. Wonderful experience. Will be back soon with my cat lady friends!
Restaurant was inside Ilani casino. We sat at the bar. Nice ambiance . Burgers were good. They split one order in two plates and didn't charge extra like other places. The wedge salad was good too!
We were here for an event held by Renewal by Anderson, and the dinner was delicious…the service just amazing. Drinks included…😁😁😁
I really want to love this place. But, it’s ok. Food wise. Looks fantastic but could use more flavor.. staff is nice. Open late but not to late.. they get cranky. Pricey. Be prepared. Someone who’s not as seasoned might like it way better. I still have it five stars for overall. Give it a try, it might be your thing..
Just WOW!!!! first, what a nice atmosphere! Not too fancy not too casual, ultra clean and comfy. Second KANE!!!! Best server I’ve had at ANY restaurant in ages! Incredible cocktail knowledge, thorough food recommendations and SUCH an amazing attentive personality! From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for making an okay date an AMAZING dining experience! Plus, compliments to the chef on the lemon soufflé! I’ve never had a dessert I enjoyed more! I can’t wait to go back to line and lure!
Kane was amazing! Suggested the pork chop, which held its own against my fave dish the Steelhead Wellington (perhaps new favorite?!) fast and friendly, very insightful as well. See ya next time Kane!
First time we have been back since the Covid shut down. Love the way they have it organized. The service was impeccable. Our Waitress kept our table picked up and brought us a tray of warm crab. The prime rib was cooked perfect.. tho I am not a fan of too much seasoning..the clams / mussels were wonderful and I especially loved the steelhead wellington was amazing. Peel and eat shrimp and the cervichie was also great. The Admiral Bloody Mary had the regular garnishes but also added a crab leg with shrimp and bacon.yum
Dinner was good. Nice menu. Great service! The chowder was good. Salads crisp. Fish and chips nicely cooked.
Fabulous, love the boils. Calamari is great, everything always cooked and seasoned well. Shooters are amazing. Love it here, have returned four or five times now and I am always pleased. Great atmosphere with the live music. Wonderful for date night during sunset with the giant windows allowing to enjoy the landscape.
Our server Amanda was great. She took good care of us. The food was also good.
Have not been here before as my girlfriend is vegetarian. They now have some good choices. Food and service were both good. Restaurant is reasonably quiet so a good place to go with friends to catch up. Live music in bar was nice and not overwhelming. Definitely will be back again soon.
Came here for dinner. Food is always good and decent portions. Service exceptional. Great atmosphere. They have a good variety so you don't have to have seafood if you don't want to. The calamari and the spinach, artichoke, and crab dip appetizers are amazing and are big portions. Desserts amazing quality.
LINE and Lure: My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way home from Seattle today. We left 150% satisfied with our experience! We had the Line & Lure Salad and a bowl of chowder. Folowed by the chocolate expresso cake and the lemon soufle. Exactly what we had hoped for - an extremely tasty salad and fantastic chowder. And the desserts were worth every calorie- Decadent! Our server Hillary provided top notch service. She was very helpful in answering our menu questions and her timing of our meal was perfect. Thank you, Hillary!
Went here for Sunday brunch on 11/30/25. I had Hillary for my server. Hillary was professional, personable and very attentive. I talked to the manager, Julie, and she told me that they were very busy on Thanksgiving. The Sunday brunch here is the best around. Lots of delicious choices, including excellent prime rib. I really enjoy the salad and fruit selections, including the perfectly processed smoked salmon. I have also had lunch and dinner here several times. The fish and chips are a great choice, as well as the hamburgers. Line and Lure is a great place to eat, as well as reasonably priced choices.
we drive up from Portland to eat lunch at Line and Lure and always aren't disappointed. choice of Tuna for my fish and chips, hot and tasty and a real good wedge salad, decent wine selection and a cocktail list. yes it's a restaurant in a casino usually full of grey haired folks like myself, but don't be fooled, if you eat here, you will be back.
Hands down, the Steelhead Wellington at Line & Lure is one of the best things I've had at Ilani and I've enjoyed things at all of the restaurants there! The texture was just right all the way around and the flavors were lovely. I loved that the server suggested substituting mashed potatoes for the cilantro rice. The mashed potatoes were also EXCELLENT. The fish & chips were enjoyed! The clam chowder super delicious! The Crab & Shrimp Melt was so salty, but the presentation was nice. Salmon tacos good not great. You can't beat their $10 kids meals though. The kid requests the hand dipped chicken strips and fries! The seasonal crisp was also just right. --- 10/10 meal!! Love it when the service is great, too! They also honor military there. They have live music on Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights! Oh and important to note! They do not have a restroom there. You must leave the restaurant and use the casino restroom as all the restaurants except Bella Vista are there.
Solid Seafood Boil, But a Bit Pricey for the Value We ordered the $200 seafood boil, which included lobster, king crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes — and we added Dungeness crab clusters as well. A choice salad or soup for each of us and a dessert! The presentation was great and the flavors were good, but as regular boil lovers, we came in with high expectations. While everything was tasty, the value didn’t quite match the price tag for us. Still, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a seafood feast in a nice atmosphere.
We visited this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, attracted by its reputation for seafood specialties. While the boiled king crab 🦀 we ordered wasn't as large as it appeared in advertisements, we were here for the overall experience. The quality of service was exceptional; the staff were attentive and friendly, which made our evening even more enjoyable. While the prices are higher than what you would find in more casual dining spots or outside the downtown area, the ambiance and excellent service made it well worth the cost. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we would recommend for special occasions.
My dish was very good, a little on the expensive side but was tasty. The other dish was average. Not many clams in the clam chowder. The special beverage was done very well and was delicious. Atmosphere was good with light live music. Service was very good with attention to details.
The brunch buffet is ok. They have dungeons crab that was decent. The mini boil is good. Everything else was avg. The regular menu seems like it would be good. Buffet is $64, so make sure you're hungry for some crab.
Please RSVP ahead of time!! They turned us away because we didn't make reservations, but someone gave us theirs! Hubby and I went for our Anniversary. The service is great and lovely music. I'm sad about the food...okay portions that fill you up, it did taste very plain, not alot of seasoning and clams felt undercooked but I ate it all anyways. I also found a clam that had a ton of mud in it, I just threw it away. Beautiful place though.
I've eaten here enough times to give an honest review, and let me be honest - the appetizers we ordered (not pictured) tasted a lot better than my $42 bacon-pistachio crusted halibut entree. My halibut was overcooked, and unseasoned. Dessert was provided by the restaurant since it was my birthday. That lemon meringue was delicious, but, the entrees we ordered was definitely not worth the $450 we spent on dinner. You would think a high-end seafood restaurant like this would serve fresh seafood, but, I can tell a lot of the stuff they served us that night was frozen before they it was cooked. I don't see how they can justify charging that much for something so mediocre. I can't picture myself spending a 3rd birthday here after two disappointing years celebrating my birthday with Line and Lure. The service was great, live band was great, appetizers were great, drinks were great, desert was great, great company, but, the actual main dish was extremely disappointing. Could've spent that money at My Brother's Crawfish and ate like a king.
Because of the atmosphere in the bar, I would go there for cocktails. I believe the food was overpriced for it's quality, which was just ok. The cod we got was a bit fishy and mine was undercooked. We shared the crab and artichoke dip for an appetizer. Honestly, I think they forgot to add the crab. I couldn't taste or smell any in the dip so it was a bit disappointing, especially for the price. The one redeeming feature was the coconut creme brulee for dessert. It was delicious.
Came here for my husbands birthday and sadly was not thrilled on the experience. Our service was disappointing to say the least. We had Mercedes as our server and she was also training a new girl, which is a scary thought considering her attitude. We were greeting and seated quickly as we had reservations and after being seated were only given one menu for the four of us. Mercedes came over and asked our drink order which we didn't really know considering we have one menu for us all to try and look at. We ordered a margarita and a bloody mary and requested another menu. She left and came back with some waters still no menu so we asked again and she snapped back that she had to go to the front to get it. Pretty rude how she approached it. She finally came back with another. We now had two for he four of us... oh well we could deal with that. After receiving a menu we realized there was 4 types of bloody marys! Which she never mentioned when taking the order and we had to walk up to the bar area to flag her down letting her know we wanted to try the Admiral Mary. After we received our drinks we were pleasantly surprised he bloody mary was very nice! had all the fixins and a crab arm holding a shrimp which was pretty cool. But after receiving were not given an extra plate for all the shells or a cracker to actually eat the crab leg, yet another request that our server seemed annoyed about. (like what do you want us to do set the shells on the table?!) Now we were ready to order our food. She was very quick and talked over us as we were trying to order. We got the Steamed clams and mussles, seared ahi tuna, Cedar Plank Sea Scallops, Seafood Wedge, Petite Filet with lobster tail and Crab crusted cod. First came out the steamers and tuna which both had a nice presentation. The steamer broth was packed with flavor and he clams themselves were very sizable. I would for sure order the steamers again. Then came our entrees, all had a really nice presentation. I got the scallops and was pretty satisfied, it had a great flavor and nice crispy parm coating on top and I also really enjoyed the sauce. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it come out pretty much well done so he was disappointed about that. Of course our server never came back over to check on us and my mom needed more dressing for her salad. We had to wave down the server and requested more. After another 15min went by and she still did not bring it out we waved down the girl she was training to ask for more. After finishing up she cleared our table and asked about desserts, I asked if there was a menu (I saw them on the first menu's we had) and she instead she just said what they had. We decided to pass. Overall I did think the food itself was pretty good, decent selection but the service is really what killed this experience. For a $300 dinner you would think you would be getting top notch service, not attitude and lack of service. I may come back again but this really didn't leave a lasting impression.
The food here has nose dived since covid and the food sourcing has tanked. They used to have the best burgers, no longer the case, tastes like they get their patties from McDonald's and the last time I purchased halibut fish and chips they were over cooked and small hockey pucks. Last night's crab and cheese sandwich looked like it had been nuked and the cheese didn't look real. So unfortunate, prices certainly do not reflect the very reduced quality. The chowder, sure it tastes ok, but if you have any sodium issues, forget it, sometimes its so salty it burns the tongue. Service is hit and miss and frankly I am appaled that the front seating staff is often so curt and quick to turn customers away, I've heard it time, and time again. Last night I stood at my table for over 20 minutes waiting to pay and leave. Since Ilani opened I always thought Line and Lure was number 2 only second to Michael Jordans; you will be better off at the food court hands down. Line and Lures only plus is free entertainment. Oh, and the $68.00 brunch, what a joke. All should know that all the seafood is farm raised. YUCK!
Great live music was being played, everything else was just okay. They were near empty last night but sending people away because the kitchen was short staffed according to the manager.
Last night my husband and I had a date night I chose Line and Lure over his suggestion at margarita factory. We were greeted and seated right away. We’ve been here a few time before and have had good experiences. Restaurant was very clean staff was very nice and attentive. Cocktails came fast, Calamari appetizer was yummy and large portion. Husband had the tenderloin tips it was ok nothing to rave about but good. I had the crab boil and added shrimp it looked delicious but really lacked any flavor besides thyme. A lot of thyme! It looked well seasoned but really didn’t have much flavor kinda odd. Shrimp was definitely farmed crab I think was definitely previously frozen the meat it’s self was bland not that sweet salty taste I was expecting and very watery. Sooo disappointing, biscuit serve with is looked appetizing and homemade but again lacked any flavor kind of cardboard flavor is all I got. Best thing in the boil was the sausage and corn 😒$170 was our total and I wished we had gone to margarita factory lol.
I have dined at Line and Lure many times. Tonight my friends and I had the worst dining experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. All three of our orders were incorrect. The bacon pistachio halibut came out with sides that weren’t listed on the menu. The Cajun crab boil with shrimp came out with no shrimp but with a king crab leg. The garlic butter shrimp, clam, and king crab boil came out without the king crab. When the staff was notified they said they would bring the mashed potatoes, garlic king crab leg, and the Cajun shrimp out. The manager came to our table and said she needed to take the king crab leg back, and literally took it with her bare hands no plate no nothing dripping butter all over the table and floor. They never brought back a king crab leg or Cajun shrimp. The manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. They didn’t even come back to check on us until we were nearly done eating what items we did order. They said they would remove the items we didn’t receive from the bill and they did. They offered dessert to us be we declined. I definitely will not be back.
OUTRAGIOUS!! The short: $38 ($78 for 2) PER "old fashioned" drink with Bazel Haden. Yes, I paid more for 2 old fashioned drinks that cost me to buy 3 full bottles of Bazel Haden at Cosco a mile away. This is not a "top shelf" whiskey, in fact it's some of the cheapest you can buy. We have eaten at Line & Lure probably 10 times since it opened in Illani. It's pretty much the best food in the Casino at a reasonable price for Seafood. Every time I go (anywhere), I order an old fashioned. Line & Lure makes the best old fashioned in the entire Casino, I have bought them everywhere. We ate at Line & Lure a few weeks back, I bought 2 Old Fashions for ~$16 which itself is $4 - $6 more than a typical place. The old Fashioned is nothing more than a shot of Whiskey, some sugar water, a drop of "bitters", a cherry and a bit of orange peel. That's it. So, being shocked at my bill I questioned the waitress and she sent over "the manager". He showed up and I asked him why I was being charged as such, and he said, "We changed our prices recently and the old Fashioned are "doubles". I told him that the drinks I received were not "doubles", (it was not physically possible by the volume in the cup much less the watered (sugar) strength of the drinks I received). He quickly basically said "that's what it costs". I then asked him "Show me on the menu where the price of an old fashioned is $38" to which he basically quickly said something like "well uhm.. uhm..." and literally just walked away with me telling him to his back that this was OUTRAGIOUS. This is nothing short of fraud and I will take this issue up with a complaint to the attorney general of Wa State as well as speak with my credit card company so stop the fraudulent charges. Beware people... There is something "afoot" at the Line & Lure.
Good place for food poisoning & for rude service especially for larger groups. I have eaten here several times over the past several years for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. Twice I got food poisoning. On our last visit in August '25, one of my family members vomited twice within minutes of leaving the restaurant. When the waitress set the oyster shooters down at our table, she said "good luck with those" so she must have known that the person eating them was going to get sick. One Sunday Brunch visit (where you have to keep getting up to get your own food) the waitress refused to accept our tip and handed the check back to us and told us we needed to give her the top level "recommended tip". On another Sunday Brunch visit our waitress told us to hurry up and finish our meal. Another Sunday Brunch we almost trip over other people's kids running around like it was a playground. I spoke to the manager and she claims they have a very high safety rating. However, that does not negate the fact that the seafood was bad at least 3 times and the service was very rude. Our next family seafood outing will be at Yummy Crab in Vancouver.
My friends drove 260 miles to visit me. We met at Line and Lure on this past Sunday, we had a 12:45 brunch reservation. The food was mostly awful. The crab legs and prime rib were the only 2 edible items...and the prime rib was cut way too thin for $64 a person. The clam chowder was unappealing in smell, taste and color. The eggs Benedict...hollandaise was tasteless and bread was hard. Nobody in our party enjoyed our meal. We left mostly hungry and $285 poorer. Very disappointing- especially since we were all seafood lovers. The service was good- staff was professional and nice...i wish the food was held to a higher standard.
