I had been dining at Pollo Campero for awhile already and I finally got the chance to write a review about my stay there. Everything are really nice. The staff are friendly. The ambiance is good. The interior is soothing to the eyes. What I love about them is there cleanliness too. Thank you so much for your quick service.

Lunchtime with my wife today. I've been here a few times with a co-worker and the chicken is gud! The chicken has always been moist and hot and good tasting. The sides are just as tasty. The plantains, french fries, fried yuca, and beans were flavorful. The jamaica and mango drink were good. The cleanliness of the restaurant is good. The bathrooms need some help. There's usually a funky smell in them and sometimes it comes wafting out of there. That's why Atmosphere gets 4 stars out of 5. The staff has always been helpful. The price is reasonable compared to everything else. I enjoy this place and will come again.

I drove past Pollo Campero on Harriman for years. I mostly avoided it because I don't have good experiences as a black person in Mexican establishments in San Bernardino/Redlands. However, I wanted a burrito-in-a-bowl from Rebel. I couldn't get rid of the taste for Mexican food so I started searching the area and remembered Pollo Campero. I decided to order the two-piece with Campero beans and a dinner roll. I wish I remembered to take a picture of my food -- I never do, but I cleaned the bean bowl CLEAN! And I don't really love beans (except baked beans) but these...yummy and flavorful. For those who know, their batter is ALMOST...the consistency of Golden Bird, but not greasy. The restaurant smelled good and the chicken tasted exactly the way the restaurant smelled. Anyway...I give the meal five stars. The service and atmosphere was not so great unfortunately for me. They were not as friendly as I hoped they would be. The order taker's greeting was dry and so was the person who bagged my food and sent me off. I know this wasn't just a bad day at work because the customers before me and the customer after me were Hispanic. And their greeting was very friendly. I grew up with Mexicans and El Salvadorians in LA and I never knew there was such thing as an issue between them and blacks until later in life--especially in Redlands and San Bernardino, so each negative encounter never ceases to disappoint me. But whatever, someone please tell me where I can get great Mexican food without the bias.

First time trying pollo campero and it was ok Nothing special FANCY EL POLLO LOCO Came in the door and the chicken smelled good The place was really busy waited in line about 10 minutes ( not to bad ) got the 8 piece mix half and half both fried and campero style were really good a lot of meat on the chicken and juicy also got the nugget meal $11 with no drink pretty expensive anyway the chicken was brought out and looked fantastic But never got my 2 large sides waited about 15 minutes and finally went up and asked for them showed my receipt. The lady went in the back for a few minutes and the gave me my sides. ( why only bring the chicken ) both the beans and the rice were good the beans actually the best beans Ive had in a long time The corn tortillas were good wish they were flour I would come back but probably just to try the spicy chicken sandwich The place is just to experience for my. $59

The food is always good. And the cashier who took my order was very friendly. However the other staff, mainly the lady calling out the orders and another one cleaning the tables were borderline rude. No smiles. No interaction with any guests. When calling out the order numbers she might as well have whispered because no one in the back of the restaurant would've been able to hear her. Then when No one showed up to pick up the order she seemed to get irritated.

I'm going to get this place a honest rating the customer service was pretty good very friendly the food was lacking Fried Chicken is not really Fried Chicken it's more like a baked chicken the dinner rolls are cold they don't really make you want they're a very basic roll the coleslaw tasted like it had a lot of vinegar in it not very appetizing the chicken also could have been cooked a little bit longer it seems like it's kind of on the border of not being cooked all the way the plantains I grew up eating plantains and I did not like the way those tasted the french fries were honestly terrible and the flan is mushy and just taste like sugar a real good flan has a caramel taste to it it's a delightful dessert this was not a delightful dessert and my daughter asked for ranch and one of the containers of ranch was like less than halfway filled up almost like somebody used it and that was like the leftovers of what they had all in all I won't be back I don't think that their food is good I don't think it's great I think that that place probably won't last very long it's not a place where I would go out of my way to go eat here.

Went inside to order chicken and we just stood there while the supervisor just looked at us so we walked up to her and asked her if we could order 20 piece chicken and she goes it is a 40 minute wait ,no hello how are you ,no how can I help you, no greeting. she was very rude and she and looking at us like we were idiots for ordering chickens. I never have had the chicken here and I don't think I ever will the service is horrible. I checked on the website to see if I could order the chicken there and it said it was a 10-minute wait but she claimed it was 40 minutes which I think she told us so we didn't order chicken.

We had this chicken at an office party the other day and it was delicious. So I looked up the place and found a special lunch meal with 2 pieces and a drink for $2.99 on their website but when I went in today they said they didn't have that offer anymore. I noticed they have old pictures and prices from 3 years ago on their website and their current menu prices aren't what they have posted in their business. I'm very disappointed that they seem to be falsifying their prices on their website. Come on now, you're a business, somebody needs to take the time to update their website.

The empanadas were good. The chicken i didn't care for at all. The grilled had a unpleasant taste and the fried was not really fried, especially how I like it when I do decide to eat fried foods. I thought I'd give this place a try. Never again 😒

Visited this location and purchased the 12 pc family pack. When I received my order, noticed they gave me a wrong side. I had ordered the corn salad and they gave me the coleslaw. I though that was it until I got home which is more than 20 miles away. When I started to take everything out of the bag, noticed one box of chicken with 6 burnt grilled chicken pieces. They completely missed the other 6 pcs of fried chicken from my order. If you visit this location make sure to check your full order is given to you.
