The drip coffee is great, shop is clean, service is friendly, has indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice

After a long wait at the ABC licensing office, I stopped by for a much-needed coffee and opted for a dirty chai to perk me up. The customer service was excellent, and I didn’t have to wait long for my drink. Both the interior and exterior were clean. Overall it was great!

My favorite coffee place.☕ Brewed coffee with Hazelnut is always a good choice if you like it hot. I also like The original Mocha Ice Blend with whipped cream. No drive-thru at this location but the patio is nice and roomy. Friendly Baristas.

They are very polite and nice here. They made my drink in a timely manner. Their coffee is really delicious and strong . Hands down better than the Starbucks on the caffeine levels. Of course can enjoy a more relaxed caffeine level drink too it’s whatever your heart ♥️ desires.

Ask and you shall receive! ...getting more whipped cream on my Pumpkin chai tea latte from super friendly girl who knew exactly what I was back in the counter for, it was as she read my mischievous eyes and instantly became my accomplice😉...oh so delicious and soothing to my soul but this is half of the best part; parking my bottom on a chair outside, listen to guy across the way playing awesome banjo and people watch....ahhhhhh....these are the simple pleasures that make a moment count!!

A bit overpriced but the coffee was very good. If someone were to open up a similar type of place except charged a reasonable price for the coffee I'm sure they'd be very popular

Service was fast, the girl at the register was nice and curtious. The only thing the counter where the sugars and the creamers were at was a mess and there was no creamer my mom had to go ask for it, no vanilla either. That's the only reason I give it four stars, other than that, the coffee bean is a great place for coffee and to hang out.

My wife and i stopped here for a mid morning cup of coffee. The coffee was excellent. Very flavorful and met my expectations. The service left us feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer. And they weren't busy at all. There were maybe three customers who came in while we were there, and only one was there when we arrived. With two employees behind the counter and one cleaning chairs in the table area, i would hope for a "happy to help you" attitude. Oh well... The coffee was good, though.

Great little coffee shop, the only thing I really don't like so much about Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is just that they over sweeten everything. So if I get a vanilla latte I know it's going to be pretty sugary, but the coffee quality is great, the service staff is great. The environment is a little dated and could be upgraded, but it's not bad.

I like this place because it's super accessible and convenient. Maybe they're having staffing issues, bc as of late these past times- that they're rushed- they've intentionally given me a watered down version of my orders. If it's not intentional, then they might have staffing & training issues. Please prepare my drink according to the price that I pay.

They have bathrooms but they are behind you enter through the same place, a coffee for the cold was not bad for me.

Went to this one by the Mission Inn to hang while a friend was at a doctor appt. Their coffee and service was good and the place had plenty of seating including outside patio in front of the Mission Inn. My only disappointment was I was told I could not use their restrooms even though the sign said not for public but customer only... I thought I was a customer! So hence the loss of 2 stars !!

Love the coffee here. However, they need to do something about the quality of their coffee cups. Today was the second time I ordered a brewed coffee and the second time it kept leaking from the side, causing the sleeve to fall apart, the cup to get messy, and my hands keep burning (with the sleeve rendered useless) all the way to the courthouse.

went in for an iced coffee this morning and when i took a sip it tasted like the milk already gone bad, i always get the same thing white chocolate iced latte. Please check milk dates before making coffee.

This place disappoints time and time again. I only go because it's near my job. The coffee is OK but way overpriced, and I thought starbucks was expensive. Customer service is really lacking. No friendly greetings. Most importantly DO NOT order any of the hot breakfast items. They gave me my egg and ham sandwich COLD and it was so gross. The egg was like egg salad. I've tried the wrap and it also nasty.

I am and have been a super fan of the Coffee Bean since the mid 90's. Sadly, I am actively looking for a new place. Ever since the CBTL was sold, the new owners/management are set on destroying it. First, they let go of the Kosher certification. So now you have to endure the intense smell of Chinese food while you are trying to enjoy a pleasant drink. Then they put a teenager minded level person in charge of ambiance who obviously has NO CLUE of what the reason people go to a coffee shop is. It's a place to meet, chat, do homework, or work while enjoying a drink. You can't even have a conversation or focus on work anymore because "someone" decided it should be "lively"??? A coffee shop is NOT a Disco, where music is supposed to be that loud. And to top it even worse, they discontinued the very popular DARK Mocha powder, which is the reason I've been choosing the CBTL. Good job ruining a magnificent place. How sad!

The worst experience at a coffee shop so far. Asked for a warmed cheese danish, got it cold. Had forgotten a cookie I paid for, they were decent about it. Asked for warm drinks, got scalding hot ones. Returned one for it to be made warm, the girl visiting the guy at the bar started interjecting with some story about how you can't change the temperature for drinks?? So, they dunked ice into the drink. Safe to say, I'm writing this review so I'll remember not to come back.

I went there on a Saturday morning to meet with a UCR rep to discuss a business idea. The dining or sitting area was not maintained. The floors and tables were not cleaned. I even let the staff know but nothing was done. There were homeless there that were either half-asleep or resting, taking up much of the space. This made it uncomfortable, though I do have compassion for people who lack residences. I was also over-charged for coffee that I had ordered because they didn't have the "nitro" drink I wanted to try. They just apologized and asked if I wanted something else and then did not give me the difference(I ordered the cheapest, plain cup of coffee). I am stunned by how this place was and I have to presume that enough money is made so they do not care. They are in such a great location. If I owned this particular establishment, I would reprimand the staff and terminate management. I hope this helps someone out there. I had frequented this place a year or so before and did not find it this way. Perhaps it was just this one time. I believe in making allowances if this is the case.

Why is it that every single time I Come to this location I get rude customer service. I went In today and the little girl with her red and black hair was so rude. I asked for a modification and she denied it. She was so mad at life. I went in there in a good mood and she literally killed that. Then she yelled at customers when they walked in without a mask; like there is a nicer way to tell your customers to put on a mask while indoors. This place is so very unprofessional and lacks kindness. I’m saddened by how the staff here represents TCBTL.... shame

Horrible service. This was my first time at this coffee bean location (second at coffee bean overall). Two young men, maybe teenagers, were working at the time. I order a green tea because I was feeling at little under the weather. The young man working the cashier hands me a laminated paper which seems to be a list of hot teas they serve. I asked for regular green tea with honey. The young man then asked if I wanted the honey on the side. I said, “sure.” He hands me 3 sticks of honey that are packaged in a what looks like a straw pinched at both ends for sealing. I proceed to sit down and try to open the honey sticks and I couldn’t get them opened by just tearing away at it. I again tried to use my teeth to gently open the honey stick and had no success. So I went back to the cashier and asked, “how do I open these things?” He chuckles and said, “pinch the top of one end of the honey and if that doesn’t work pinch the other end.” His demeanor was that I should obviously know how to open the honey sticks. This method worked the first time (if you know that’s how it’s done). I ask to use the restroom and he gave me a clipboard that is used as a fob to gain access to the restroom which was through the back door, down the hallway and to the left, which he never told me. He assumed, yet again, that I knew what I was doing. These guys should truly step their game up. I know they’re young and some have too many cares in the world, but management should make sure customers are getting excellent service. I will not go to this location again. I might not visit a coffee bean again either.

Came in with my pregnant wife. While I was getting in line to make my order, my wife wanted to use the restroom. My wife is obviously pregnant, as in her due date was yesterday. She asked to use the restroom. They told her that we would have to make a purchase before they would allow a pregnant woman to use the restroom. We decided to get our refreshments elsewhere. Will not be returning.

Came here this morning at 5:50a. Waited for it to open at 6am. The employees were in there, possibly getting ready but did not open the doors or acknowledge me as I waited until 6:10a. Did not communicate & not thoughtful of the customers. I left bc I wasn’t sure when they would open. There were 2 young ladies working. Poor customer service and if they can’t open the doors on time, they shouldn’t be working the morning shift. How unreliable they are.

We came for a show today and decided to go and get coffee ma’am. If there was ever a time I missed my Starbucks.! I noticed the lady before me when she was ordering the guy kept saying they were out so before I placed my order, I asked if he had a chocolate cake pop he looked and he said yes when I got my order, I had a cookies and cream cake pop when I tried asking the lady she was saying that’s all I have. They were all very rude when I tried speaking to the gentleman who took my order. He put his hand up and said excuse me I’m on break. Talk to someone else. No, I’m sorry. I apologize I was treated. I feel that this is very unprofessional and for a place that is going to receive a lot of business due to a car show. They should’ve been more polite.

How is this place always closed when the hours say it’s open?? This is the second time I’ve come and they aren’t open when they should be.. like the people and the coffee when they are present.. need my daily coffee people ! Lol

Their wait time is 20-25 mins no matter what you order. Inconvenient and annoying bc even if you order online and you order should be ready by a set time, the workers will not put your food to heat up and it’ll be started 15 mins after you order.

We did not realize that it was about a half an hour before closing (8pm). So, we waited in line and I had to go to the restroom. I decided to attempt to go so that I would not hold up the group. I started walking toward the restroom and right at the corner there was a female security guard. I said, "The restroom is this way? and she replied in an unfriendly, stern way, "It's already closed." I thought, "Wow, ok." So, I walked back over to the group and told them. They were just as surprised as I was to be told that the restroom was already closed. One of the people with me finally made it up to the counter to order and she told the person what she wanted. But, the employee (it was not said nicely) told her that the oven was already off. She was like, "What, it's already off?" The employee said, "Yes, we have to turn it off 30 minutes before we close, or it will not be cool by closing." So, we waited in line all that time for nothing and they were not nice and did not let us know before waiting in line. I am glad that I am not from this area so that I do not have come to this location. We definitely regretted coming here!
