The burger was so good that I didn’t even have a chance to get a picture for this review. I love spots like this, unassuming, hole-in-the-wall joints that have been around for years. The guys working here were as friendly as could be, service was faster than I’d get at a drive thru and the burger was both very fairly priced and delicious. Don’t sleep on this spot!!

Best "slouchy burger" in the area. No particular ingredient particularly stands out, but altogether, the burger is excellent. Juicy, yummy, and hits the spot. Highly recommended!

I was dropping off a rider in rockwall. Asked him for a good mom and pops spot. He recommended this spot. I’m I glad I took him up on that advice. I love a good burger and a hole in the wall. Got BOTH!!!! These burgers were perfectly made and cooked. That jalapeño pickle relish is the bomb!!!!!! I’m hour away from him from home. I’ll drive that hour for that burger again. The two gentlemen that servicing you. Are great guys. Very nice. Makes you feel like one of the neighbors. Cause it’s in a neighborhood in the back yard. Can’t get much hole in the wall than that. Thanks Jeremy for pointing me in the direction of Boots Burgers.

Our 1st two visit was 1 hour wait, so we didn't bother trying. The third time we call an hour early so we could try what the fuzz is about and it's one of the best burgers we ever had. It's freash, bun is warm, and the patty is well seasoned. So yeah, call ahead of time. Bring cash and take it home because there is no eating at the premises.

Tried out what burger guru/historian George Motz says is one of three nearly impossible to get burgers in the US. Open a couple hours because the the owners only work on their own lunch breaks, order from a window ($10 double cheeseburger, drink, and chips), wait up to 30-35min, toss your food in the front seat of your vehicle (no eating on premise), and go find a place to enjoy lunch. How good is it? It honestly took me back to childhood sitting on a park bench in the summer with friends or family, and maybe the only thing missing was the smell of chlorine from being in a pool.

My buddy and I took a vacation day and drove an hour and a half for this legendary burger. Word of mouth had reached us: this is THE burger you must try. We were not let down. Menu is simple, the atmosphere is truly homey, and the gents in the kitchen do not give you the impression they are here to mess around. Price was perfect, as was the presentation, old school and nostalgic. In the end we got our Burgers and wandered down to the park, there is nowhere to eat on site. To put it bluntly, there is nothing exotic or even special about the burger. However, this was by far the best burger I've ever eaten and I'll likely savor the memory on my death bed. Yeah, it's not flashy or covered in anything new fangled, no shroom, no Swiss. Its is, however, the quintessential American cheeseburger. I can't wait to make that drive again. 10/10.

A quaint little burger shack nestled in a local neighborhood in Rockwall, Texas. This place is jumping with business no matter what time of day you go, people stop, pickup and go. There is no place to sit and eat at this location, but there is a park nearby you can enjoy this tasty homemade treat. He does sell chips and canned drinks, or you can bring your own. Either way, you gotta try it at least once.

Cash only and no fries but who needs fries anyway?? No frills but the burger is the thrill. I had on my man bib to eat in the car and glad I did as all that juicy goodness from the burger dropped from the bottom. First time here and I WILL be going back asap. Burgers are delicious and old school in taste. Better get there early only open for 2 hrs a day!!! Plenty seating to wait outside but it's worth it. Please try them you won't be disappointed if you are a burger connoisseur such as me....the world proclaimed Burger God lol

Solid burger, classic, simple, a little on the greasy side. Tastes like a burger from decades past. Got a double cheeseburger for $7.50 and it was good. Kind of a In-n-out burger vibe. The actual place is just a window in the back of someone’s house. Looked closed but it was open. No place to wash hands or use a bathroom.

Window service burgers. No fries. They do offer bagged chips. No dining. Take your food and go. Service was very fast literallyhad 2 burgers off the grill within minute. Cook/owner was courteous, but not overly friendly. Burgers were delicious and reasonably priced. As a big eater, I should have ordered a double. Atmosphere is non- existent as you literally take your food and go. Signs state "No eating on premises". Again, burgers are very very good. They were well seasoned with plenty of cheese and toppings. Residential street parking can be a significant challenge. I would not hesitate to return.

I got a double meat burger. It was delicious. The bun was fresh and did not get soggy, that's important to me. The burger had mustard, lettuce, chopped onion, tomato and dill pickles. The owner was very friendly and funny. I highly recommend calling in your order because it's a really popular place and the wait is long, especially when you're hungry. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is because I had to wait 1 hour for my burger. Listen carefully because they call your name when your order is ready. Oh, one more thing, you can't eat your burger on the premises so be prepared for that. The menu prices that I added in the photo are as of November 14, 2025. You really should try this place. You can't beat the prices! It's quite unique and the burgers are very tasty and freshly made.

Maybe it was an off day but didn't live up to the hype in the taste. Took over 40 minutes for two cheeseburgers. Lesson learned is to call in the order.

Ordered the cheeseburger. The burger was really good. The meat was seasoned well. I ordered on site. It was a 45-minute wait (only took about 35). There is only parking on the road, but cars come and go pretty quickly. Just know this is a cash only establishment, and it's to-go only. They do have chips and can drinks. The drinks are from a soda machine. Do yourself a favor and call ahead.

I would like to start off by saying, “I don’t know how you guys make a profit but keep up the good work.” Burger for the price, AMAZING! Didn’t have too much going on you could tell the beef was fresh and seasoned nicely. These burgers are made with love, silly to say but if you know you know. Will have to drive to 2 hours to go there again but it will be worth it. If you are ever in the Rockwell area check this place out!

The burger was delicious, the 4 hairs not so much. The first two hairs didn't phase me but the third made me start to lose my appetite and I inspected the burger and found a 4th hair. I threw away the burger. I don't care how good your food is there's no excuse to have four seperate hairs in 1 burger.
