Il posto mi è piaciuto molto anche se non lo conoscevo. Forse di ispirazione Scandinava o Svedese per alcuni piatti (avevano la semla quando sono andata io). I prezzi sono un po' oltre la media ma si mangia cibo particolare biologica.

Ho fatto un brunch qui ed è stato talmente buono e bello il tutto che non vedo l’ora di tornarci! Pancakes, french toast e omelette le mie cose preferite, DIVINE! Siamo stati serviti da una ragazza molto gentile e l’atmosfera di Marigold ti fa sembrare di non essere a Roma. Ma in un sogno❤️ grazie dell’esperienza!

Cucina fresca, locale e genuina ma soprattutto "contaminata". Con una base italiana con tante ispirazioni dal nord Europa, la colazione salata, e una carta di vini molto particolare, Marigold è il ristorante che a Roma mancava. Ottima qualità, meravigliosa atmosfera e perfetta ospitalità.

Un locale veramente molto bello in cui poter fare un ottimo brunch. I piatti sono molto belli alla vista ma altrettanto buoni al palato.

In una stradina in zona Piramide/Ostiense, mi sono imbattuta in un locale, piccolo ma accogliente, che racchiude le caratteristiche del bistrot, del ritrovo colazione, del rifugio per una pausa atemporale. Internazionale l'utenza e cosmopolita l'offerta. Semplice e informale, con cura dell'offerta. Dolci fatti in casa, vari e gustosissimi, come differenziata è anche l'offerta di cold & hot drinks Spero vivamente non venga raggiunto dallo spirito radical chic... Da provare e tornare!

ristorante molto curato in una viuzza vicino al gasometro di Roma Ostiense. il menu è molto interessante con tanti piatti originali e non sempre le solite cose che trovate nella maggior parte degli altri ristoranti.il servizio è stato molto veloce e gentile. Prezzi onesti. Sicuramente da tornarci.

Vengo spesso in questo posto, tra i miei preferiti in zona Ostiense. Proprietaria gentilissima, atmosfera rilassata, materie prime di altissima qualità e preparazione impeccabile. Difficile trovare qualcosa di simile a Roma. Suggerisco per colazione, brunch e pranzo.

Great spot for lunch. It is a bit outside of the touristy sections of Rome, therefore quieter. Delicious food and beverages. My roasted eggplant salad was tasty and the panzanella.

This place was a highlight of Rome. It offers an American breakfast with a nostalgic touch, but it's more than that. Every dish has great seasoning, fresh market ingredients, and well-composed flavors. We loved the Turkish eggs, babka French toast, and the omelette. The pancakes were okay but a bit dry and too firm, so I wouldn't recommend them.

Loved it. Table water goes a long way. Service was also polite and perfectly attentive. The view into the kitchen is intriguing and although the space is bare its relaxing and nice to sit in. The cabinet items all look good enough to add on after a full breakfast order. My experience of which was only good, variety on the menu and a reasonable portion size for the price point. Coffee tasted of single origin - fruity (but could be wrong).

my favorite coffee shop in the entire Rome! Super delicious specialty coffee with a very third-wave hip vibe (which is close to impossible to find in the otherwise very conservative city of Rome). They roast their own coffee and you can buy beans for home. Staff is very nice and attentive. The barista we spoke to had perfect English, overall a very pleasant experience.

Walked for an hour to get there and was not disappointed. The coffee was sweet, fruity and delicious. A great selection of sweet and savory breakfasts and a window full of baked things to choose from. Service was fast and friendly. No complaints!

The coffee is excellent and the food is delicious! The service is nice but it gets very busy so inevitably it gets slow. Worth the wait though—they usually move pretty quick and you can also order coffee while you wait to get seated which is super nice. Coffee: - flavorful! Food: - best sourdough bread I’ve had in Rome! It’s incredibly flavorful and perfect by itself or alongside some butter and jam or fried eggs - I don’t usually like omelettes but their vegetable cheese omelette completely converted me into an omelette person. Light and flavorful. - Shakshuka was just okay. Nothing special and wasn’t too flavorful and not salty enough. Overall: 100% worth the extra 10 minute bike ride down from the center of Rome My one suggestion for improvement to management would be: when there’s a line of customers waiting to pay, please stop making small talk with every person at the front!

This was easily my favorite meal in Rome! They have an ever-changing seasonal menu that features inventive dishes and everything is delightful. Everything here is definitely hygge. Don't expect to find anything traditional here. It's quite obvious they like to push boundaries.

Discovered on a Sunday while looking for an afternoon delight... and what a delight it turned out to be! I have now been twice, sampled a good portion of the offerings and can say it is consistently delicious, with quality products and an interesting mix of flavors. Add to that friendly service and you have a winning combination. I definitely recommend!

Marigold is our new favorite place in Rome. The space has beautiful attention to detail and the staff is kind so it is a place where you want to spend time. The bread is amazing! We take a loaf home and it is our daily breakfast in Rome, every bit as good as Tartine in San Francisco. My 12-year-old daughter loves the avocado toast so much it is always the first place she requests to go. The lunches are amazing as well with wonderful and inspired flavor combinations using high quality ingredients. So glad we found it and feel lucky to live nearby!

Costoso, luogo adatto a persone che amano un menu per stranieri, non aspettarti la classica colazione all’italiana. Credo sia tedesco. Ripeto, costoso.

Sembra di fare un salto geografico e scappare in un locale nordeuropeo, per via del design interno e delle proposte di dolci e pani. Piacevole, non economico. Molto adatto per chi ha bisogno di un posto tra l’estetico e il tenero per una chiacchierata.

Marigold è un posticino in zona ostiense ideale per il brunch. Ho ordinato i pancake e ho chiesto di avere burro e sciroppo d’acero separati. L’impasto dei pancake era molto buono, la frutta di stagione di accompagnamento era un po’ troppo “semplice” nella presentazione e nella preparazione. Le uova alla turca buone, forse troppo coriandolo a guarnire il piatto. Ho dato tre stelle all’ambiente perché l’ho trovato eccessivamente minimal e con troppi posti a sedere rispetto allo spazio, avevo difficoltà ad ascoltare la mia amica che era al tavolo con me per l’eccessivo rumore in sala. Il personale è cordiale. Forse tornerò, ma non di domenica.

Appena entrati in locale, subito ci hanno preparato il tavolo. Ricca scelta di caffè e luogo perfetto per i brunch.. Quasi tutti i piatti erano pieni ed healthy. Unica cosa è che i prezzi erano alti per la media.. Per esempio un cappuccio con latte avena 5.5€ Il caffè era di qualità e si sentiva ma forse il prezzo un pò esagerato.. Personale molto attento, subito mi ha informato che il piatto che volevo purtroppo era terminato.. (toffee pudding ancora in lavorazione) Ci ritornerò lo stesso provando invece i piatti dolci.

Un'ottima colazione a km 0, tutto preparato da loro in modo speciale. Ottimo il servizio, perfetto per studenti stranieri poiché tutti i camerieri parlano inglese. Forse un pò caro, ma la qualità si paga!

Locale d’ispirazione internazionale, sia per il concept sia per le proposte. La location è molto carina ed accogliente, così come il personale, attento e preparato. Le proposte sono tutte di ottima qualità, di ottima fattura e molto originali, soprattutto rispetto all’offerta media di Roma, pochi posti infatti riescono a proporre dolci e salati d’ispirazione nordeuropea. Consiglio vivamente le torte, in particolare quelle ricoperte dal frosting/cream cheese, veramente spettacolare. La pecca maggiore sono i prezzi, non tanto per le porzioni delle torte, che si aggirano intorno ai 5€, assolutamente giustificati da qualità, quantità e gusto; ma i prezzi per la caffetteria ed i lievitati sono veramente alti, 3,5/4€ per un lievitato da colazione e 3€ per un espresso.

Locale sviluppato con un concept nordeuropeo, perfetto per godersi un brunch immergendosi in un ambiente accogliente. Ottimo cibo saporito preparato con ingredienti biologici, il tutto condito da un servizio rapido e personale internazionale attento alle esigenze. Consiglio di implementare l’offerta con ulteriori bevande come smoothie, chai latte e ginseng.

Ottimo brunch, con prodotti biologici e buonissimi. Menu non vasto e per me ci guadagna in qualità. Prezzi buoni, rapportati appunto alla qualità del prodotto offerto. Consigliatissimo.

Amo Marigold, il suo stile, il suo calore ma soprattutto il cibo che meriterebbe 100 stelle. Oggi però ne do 4 in quanto credo sia necessario rivedere in periodo covid la possibilità di prenotare o almeno la gestione della coda in maniera più efficiente. Stamattina c'è stato qualche piccolo intoppo. Il cibo passa attraverso la coda di gente in fila per la cassa il che non è super igienico credo. Anche il caffè non è buonissimo (me lo aspetto all'estero non qui). La cucina fa uscire piatti incantevoli e buonissimi. La pasticceria in vendita anche di qualità e bella da vedere. Prezzi Altini ma per quello che mangio ci sta.

Lovely spot in Ostiense, with northern European vibes and pared down furnishings that reflect their point of view: simple, organic, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients for healthy breakfasts and brunches. If you're looking for the brunches of American diners or British fry-ups, keep looking. This is about a clean palate, with in-house baking, their own small roast coffee, and consciencious cooking. For Rome, this is a unique spot, the menu changes weekly, and the service was lovely and friendly. We had an omelette with prosciutto (cotto, it should be specified on the menu) and cheese, sunnyside-up fried eggs with wilted kale, both came with toasted home made sourdough bread, and we also ordered a pat of house-made grass-fed butter (which is extra). We went for a mid-week late breakfast and had no problems finding a seat, but I understand that it would get crowded on weekends. While it's not over-the-top, farm-fresh quality organic ingredients do come at a premium, which should not be surprising. (Note to the house: it would help to have sweetener available, not only sugar. I don't think it would compromise the food philosophy).

Had to wait 50 minutes to entry.. the food and the drinks were very delicious and tasty . Service was good and quick and also pleasant atmosphere. But everything was super expensive, we paid 34€ per person for a brunch.

Supposedly the only specialty coffee hipster café that serves food in Rome, at the moment, in a society where italians are very particular about their coffee so I give them a lot of credit. High points: beautiful place, I enjoyed the strawberry tart, the ginger lemonade and all the foam on top of my latte macchiato. Low points: They put this homemade salted butter on both the pancakes and the french toast and it made them extremely salty. Normal butter would have sufficed. The avocado toast would be better if they used the warm toasted bread that comes with the omelette instead of the other type of cold bread that it came on. Also adding more seasoning or chile oil would give the avocado toast much more flavor as it was a little bland. A final point I would like to mention was I don’t know if it was because my friends and I were speaking english to each other but the guy taking the reservations (in the bar san calisto tshirt) originally told us that the wait would be an hour and 10 min maybe hoping that would deter us from wanting to eat there but we said we’d wait and then it only ended up being only a 10-15 min wait so not sure what to think about that.

One of my favorite spots in Rome for a brunch. It was my Saturday ritual to go there before I moved out of Ostiense area. I will always keep coming back. Great cappuccino, great food choices, but the desert and pastries are the stars of the show. My go-to is their banana bread, perfection! I love the uniqueness of this place. Highly recommend

Marigold è un locale in stile minimal nordeuropeo dove si serve la english breakfast rivisitata. Un locale per expat, pensato per expat, con prezzi da expat e giustamente pieno di expat. Sono stato per un brunch ed indubbiamente non andro mai piu a meno che non debba andare con un expat. Uovo fritto 10 euro, shakshuka 15.50!!!(Che è un tegamino turco con uovo e pomodoro), insomma prezzi sorprendentemente alti. Per me è no a meno che non abbiate passato la notte con un/una expat e poi vi offrono il brunch

Mi piace molto. Ottime e di primissima qualità le materie prime utilizzate in cucina.. Interessanti le offerte sia per il brunch che per la colazione di derivazione nord europea. Ma potete anche consumare un caffè o un cappuccino con dei biscotti fatti da loro o una fetta di dolce. In alternativa dell'ottimo pane con burro e marmellata da scegliere tra alcuni gusti.Unica pecca po' troppo caro .

Had higher expectations for this place. Ordered eggs Benedict, but it hardly had any hollandaise sauce. Flat white was very bitter. And we had to wait 30 min for a table. Would go somewhere else next time.

If you looking for a breakfast shop that using just the natural flavor of the ingredients, this might be the place you should come to. The boss and waitress are very friendly and welcoming. However a bit pricey for the food, though.
