This review is long overdue. These bagels are heaven. My husband and I live about 25 minutes from them, but would travel even longer. They are just THAT amazing. We always grab an additional dozen for our neighbors and they get so excited. It’s tough to pick a favorite but I have to say the honey wheat are way up there.

AWEmazing bagels. I am not a bagel person but have sampled many bagels in nyc—AND Grizzly are the best bagels. I take all my out of town friends there. Jalepeno cheddar my favorite at the moment w scallion cream cheese. In the summer, go early to avoid a line.

Absolutely love this place! The bagels are always so delicious and the service is super friendly. I find myself coming back every weekend—highly recommend!

Five stars aren't enough. These are the best bagels ever, period. All the stars. Actually, they're not the best bagels- they're the only bagels. Nothing deserves to be called a bagel besides these. Divine.

Hand made bagels, made fresh daily. The owner is an absolute delight, the food is delicious. So many different delicious flavours, highly recommend rosemary and parmesan or cheddar jalapeño :)

This bagel shop in Callicoon is a MUST visit. You have to order the toasted Cheddar Japaleno bagel with Scallion cream cheese. The texture of the bagels is a cross between a focaccia bread and brioche. It’s chewy, flavorful, and soft. The outside shell is coated evenly to provide a uniform texture of a good taste on the first bite. The owner starts making the bagels at 3:00am and opens the store at 9:00am. The shop closes when all the bagels are sold out. Price is super reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly.

Highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a bite to eat 😋

Grizzly Bagels delivers! I checked it out at the end of the day and the bagels were still fresh and doughy. I had the parmesan pepper with cream cheese. Quite a delight and can't wait to return when I come back to visit Roscoe this summer!

Newest addition to the lovely town of Roscoe is this wonderful gay owned and operated bagel shop. Freshly baked bagels served with locally sourced ingredients. Very soft and chewy. I'd really recommend the jalapeno cheddar bagels!

In a word: incredible. Currently eating a frozen pre-sliced Jalapeño Cheddar bagel from the bag I grabbed last weekend. Out of the freezer, into my toaster, lightly buttered and these little gems absolutely rip. So tasty and a wonderful texture. Got a bacon, egg & cheese on the same bagel when I stopped in and it was hot & ready to go. I can’t wait to come back during fishing season…like, a lot.

I’d love to see the service align better with the incredible atmosphere and community in Roscoe. A positive attitude and a little kindness go along way :) I’m sure we will visit again at some point but unfortunately, for right now, I will be bringing my friendly spirit elsewhere

The young lady helping me was nice I just wish they changed gloves after handling money . Seems like no point to wear the food safety gloves in the first place. Prices also a tad high for bagels.

They don’t make breakfast sandwiches on the spot. They have a it premade sitting in foil. That should say enough

I stopped going to Grizzly Bagels because the owner was so incredibly rude to his customers. My friend asked if he had cream cheese flavors, and he said in the most sarcastic voice, “Well this is a bagel store so what do YOU think?” we were so taken back by his rudeness that my friend had a hard time getting her order out, and he told her to come back later when she could speak. I didn’t return for over a year, but I went in today because it was next to the Little Store which just opened (they are lovely people). Once again, the Grizzly owner Zack, was so rude to me. He seems like a petulant manchild. He clearly has so little power in his own life that he tries to create power by being rude to people. My bagel wasn’t toasted, even though I waited 20 minutes for it, and I wasn’t going to subject myself to talking to him again by asking for my correct order to be made. The bagel seem to have gotten way smaller since the last time I was there so I paid a lot more for less. I will never return.

Bad attitude from the guy behind the counter. Condescending and rude. Overpriced premade bacon egg and cheese isn’t worth it. The tiny coffee was cold. The young woman working behind the counter was nice. “Locals not welcome” vibe.

What a joke these people are. I have driven out of my way a bunch of times. Always closed. “Sold out” today? Pathetic. Rich people should not have stores. They are not like normal people. 9-1? They think this is Brooklyn. Never again.
