Came here for my birthday dinner and it was a good pick. Delicious flavorful meals prepared so nicely (espscially our fish dishes). Salads were huge. Drinks were good. Ambiance was nice too. Servers were good kept bringing us salsa without having to ask for it (and it was the best salsa). My only complaint is that that guacamole wasnt big enough even though we ordered a double. I do want to come back and try other items on the menu though because my taste buds were impressed. Good first visit! Thanks besito

Great atmosphere here. We took enchilada and fish tacos from the place. Very good quality. Nicely packaged. Wet clean restrooms! Nice seating outside as well. Very large bar right near the entrance. Overall, great place for Medican food lovers!

Great food and wonderful ambiance. Our server Tatiana was outstanding! She was attentive and personable. In addition, she made great recommendations. The food here is definitely worth checking out. Everything is prepared with care and the end result is deliciousness! I will definitely return again and again.

Basito at Roslyn is a modern Mexican restaurant with a bold, contemporary touch, serving only the freshest ingredients. The house salsa is smooth and flavorful, featuring a complex blend of herbs. The well-known guacamole is freshly made in a molcajete, making it a true ritual of enjoying Mexican cuisine. My halibut Veracruzana was served with a light, fresh sauce that perfectly complemented the delicate fish—a divine choice for dinner. The steak was expertly prepared, and the house coffee was freshly brewed, adding to the restaurant’s charm. Basito is the perfect neighborhood spot for brunch and lunch. I will definitely return for dinner to explore their beautifully blended cocktails!

Good flavors & selection! Comfortable seating & spacious. Really enjoyed the ambiance & decor. Came with a group of 16 friends and everyone was pleased. Good salsa sauce & guacamole 👍. White sangria was okay, could use more liquor content. Other than that, all went well… 😊😊

Today we are celebrated birthday. We were immediately shown to the table, although we did not reserve anything. The waiters were very attentive and kind. The food was delicious and the drinks too. Very nice atmosphere. light music and the restaurant is very beautiful. I would be happy to recommend him to others.

Tbh the chips and salsa was so good, i didnt think i needed anything else on the menu haha. but we ended up getting Besito bowl, lots of green and was served with rice and beans on the side. The quantity is insane like you can legit have 2 people share the bowl and they'll be very full. I also got watermelon mojito, that was decent, nothing extraordinary.

Besito in Roslyn is unique. My husband and I stopped by on Sunday August 17, 2025 as we were staying overnight in the area. This seemed like a good option based on reviews. The shopping strip itself is rather odd and the restaurant is confusing, when we walked in there was no direct spot to be greeted but as we walked past the bar we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and courteous, she recommended the specials but we opted for other items. Our drinks and food were great, the portions are generous and the overall experience was great. Towards the end of our meal we felt like we waited a while for the bill, even after skipping dessert. I checked out restroom and it wasn’t as nice as I would expect. Upon getting our bill we also received little dolls as gifts and were instructed to put them under our pillows for a goid night sleep…this was also unique. Overall great food and glad we tried it. 💋

My kids and I visited Besito Mexican Restaurant this past weekend, and it was our first time dining there - so we weren’t sure what to expect. We appreciated the ample parking, with many empty spaces available. We were able to park right across from the restaurant, which was very convenient. Upon entering, however, we were a bit confused - no one greeted us or approached us right away. We had to wander for a bit until a bartender noticed us and seated us at a table right next to the bar, in the middle of heavy foot traffic where drinks were being mixed. My daughter-in-law politely asked a waiter if we could move to a booth instead. Unfortunately, he told us booths were reserved for parties of four or more (there were just three of us), despite many being visibly available. Thankfully, a bartender named Tatiana came to the rescue - she said we were welcome to take a booth and kindly brought us menus. Her accommodating attitude definitely made a difference in our experience. For our meal, I ordered the Tacos Hongos served on an iron skillet and a Besito Patrón Margarita, which the waitress recommended in place of the La Paloma (which she said was a bit strong). My kids ordered the Quesabirria and Quesadilla Chicken Parrilla. Before the food arrived, we were served chips and salsa, and later a bowl of fluffy rice and a bowl of beans came as sides. The wait time for our food was around 20–25 minutes, which was fair, but when the dishes arrived, the portions were quite small, not suitable for sharing. We sampled each other’s meals, and the kids agreed that my taco dish was the most flavorful, although there could have been more tortillas. Their quesadilla and quesabirria were okay, but not particularly memorable. The atmosphere was pleasant, with comfortable music that didn’t overpower our conversation. The dining layout included tables for two and four, and it looked like larger groups could be accommodated by pushing tables together. Before we left, a staff member was taking photos of guests, and he kindly offered to take our picture, which was a nice touch. Overall, I feel that the restaurant is a bit overrated, but Tatiana’s professionalism and attentiveness helped elevate our experience. If you enjoy spicy food, this might be your kind of place. If not, you may want to explore other options. Final verdict: 4 out of 5 stars - all thanks to Tatiana.

Excellent place for lunch…the blood orange margarita was DELIGHTFUL🍹 The food was decent overall. The street corn side is somewhat boring and the fish tacos quickly got soggy, but the flavors were on-point. Will definitely be back again😎

Great upscale Mexican restaurant in Roslyn! We loved the overall feel, cleanliness of the restaurant, the service and food here. I ordered the crispy shrimp tacos that had just the right amount of taste and texture. The main entree that I got was the ribs which were not truly fall off the bone and a bit too strongly flavored. I got the flan for dessert, and it had an interesting topping on it. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere. Great service. Nice people and staff. Food is mid. It’s like Mexican food you can buy off a food truck. Nothing special. Prices are high and not worth it. Guacamole had not salt and no flavor. Appetizer were the best part of the meal. Expected a better grade of food
