Maria handled our party like a champ. Our server was awesome and everything went smooth and everything was delicious!
Excellent chips and salsa. The enchiladas are perfect and the tostadas are tasty. Recommended.
Brian the manager is super helpful and friendly! He just made my entire day!!!!! Thanks Brian! I'll be back to see ya'll on my next trip home!!!!
Great service! We had Cesar as our server and he did a fantastic job. The atmosphere was great. I had the top shelf margarita sampler and I loved all three margaritas that came in the flight. We had chicken flautas, grilled shrimp, and a taco salad. Would definitely recommend this place!
First time to Casa Garcia's in Round Rock! Our waiter, Raul, was fantastic! Very attentive. He was fun. He helped our group take pictures at the end. The food was great. I got the grilled shrimp tacos and they were delicious. I had heard that the flour tortillas were great so I brought a dozen home to our family! Can't wait to go back!
Love when Casa G’s Pozole comes back for the cooler weather, so much that I had a large bowl last week and I had another one this week. William helped me this time and did a great job, not only serving me but also helping me with my questions about Spanish!
Easy access off 35N. Ample parking. Handicapped accessible. Definitely a Round Rock must! Great menu. Was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Plates are generous portions. Daisy was fantastic. She answered our questions with ease and was a great server. Tortillas are homemade. They have a kids menu and lunch specials. They serve breakfast all day.
Alejandra waited on today &other times before- she & all the wait staff are awesome - They make us feel @ home - We gather there for birthday parties & Church group get together - Casa Gracias is our go to place . Tony G
I have to admit that I avoided this location after reading reviews until recently . My brother came to visit from San Antonio (we grew up there) and we decided to give it a try. We both ordered off of their lunch menu and we absolutely loved it, the salsa was excellent, and we totally cleared our plates. So a week later we decided to return for breakfast. We had the migas ala Mexicana and had so much we took leftovers home to finish later. The waiters were very attentive and the girl that seated people asked how everything was multiple times, they were very attentive both visits. They have definitely earned a loyal customer. If you have been on the fence about going there, I advise giving them a shot. I was pleasantly surprised.
Great food to me,the 2 drinks I had were not so much. Waitress could've been more on point but ok service
I decided to try something other than the usual so I went with the El Ultimo combo. I was not disappointed. The chefs and kitchen staff work magic with stuffed avocados. I’ve had queso and chips often but these magicians put tomatoes, bell peppers, and chorizo in the melted cheese. Exquisito!!!! 🎉 bravo 🙌!! Aside from great food, the staff is friendly and the men’s bathroom is clean. The Mexican Christmas music had a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. No wonder the parking lot was full.
Great restaurant, staff was friendly our waiter Ceasar was amazing! We were a group of 10, family reunion, had my uncle and aunt coming from CA so finding a family restaurant that has a good atmosphere and pricing was essential and this place did not disappoint. Food was great. Don't drive by, stop by! Gather your family and even come here for birthday shot outs with the sombreros.
Just left Casa Garcia in Round Rock they were super busy and Brian the manager did a great job of going back and forth helping the servers with dropping off food and drinks
We had a great experience with Raul. He was very attentive and provided great customer service. We plan to return and ask for him. Mireya
Whenever I'm in town, the first place I head to for my authentic Tex Mex fix is Casa Garcia. This place is the real deal and never disappoints. Everything is fresh, flavorful and plentiful, but my very favorite is their enchiladas. Each kind they make is wonderfully different and delicious and sauced perfectly to compliment the filling. But I can't say enough about the chili gravy! It seems simple, but so many places just don't get it right. Theirs is thick, meaty and spiced perfectly without being greasy. The flavor is outstanding! My second favorite thing to get is their tamales - so so good. I was concerned after my visit this past week because the place is usually packed on a Friday night, but this time it was 1/2 empty. I also noticed it was missing the Mexican American families who usually are there enjoying a meal. Their staff seemed short-handed as well. I fear that recent drastic and questionable political actions are keeping immigrant families and workers away from public places. If this is the case, I hope that local citizens will step up and show that they support this business and it's patrons who are so vital to the welfare and economy of this region. As decent Americans we need to help our hard-working immigrant neighbors and businesses feel safe in this climate of fear. Their contributions are an important part of a thriving society. So please think about how you want to spend your money when you dine out, and support the places offering great food at a good value AND show some good will to your fellow humans who need it right now ❤️
I just had the beef fajita tacos and I could only finish one. The portion size is great and not at all pricey. The flour tortillas were light and fluffy, not dense and heavy. It was also cheaper than most places. They play authentic music, and all the repeat customers look so happy. They have a long bar in the middle and the staff is super friendly. Stacy was supernice and accommodating, even though she was slammed with a bunch of customers during the lunch rush. Def will return.
Our waiter Raul was amazing the food was excellent great for breakfast, lunch or dinner corn tortillas are homemade. Very nice people and super clean restaurant.
The food is excellent and the servers are awesome! Marcela, Alejandra, Gabby and Maria are always a pleasure to be served by and awesome to chat with; did I mention the food is good? Never had a bad plate here.
Food was great and Marcela was an awesome server! Maria, the lady that preps the tables is really great too. I always watch her hard at work. Gabby is a very friendly host.
First of all the food is always great! Service is always been and is above average. Atmosphere is wonderful. Come and enjoy!
I ordered the chile relleno with fajita steak, and the table ordered queso w/ chorizo to go with the chips. The salsa and queso were absolutely delicious, as was my meal. The portions are huge, and the service was on point. I can't say it's my preferred place in Round Rock (see my other review for another nearby Mexican in Round Rock), but it hit the spot and I would go back!
Marcela our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. She made us feel at home. The shrimp enchiladas were spectacular 😍
Delicious enchiladas, rice, & beans. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Only wish they gave side tortillas like in San Antonio to sop up the rest of the sauce.
Brian and his staff always makes sure they take good care of me. The food is always good, hot, and fresh! It's worth the 45 min drive. Keep up the great work!
This is my wife and I GO TO SPOT for Mexican food! The refried beans and rice is a MUST! The food has always been on point when we come here. I’ve had the beef enchiladas and the steak fajita enchiladas. The steak is the best but you can’t go wrong with either choice. The Carne Asada is cooked and seasoned really well. It is another must try! I highly recommend trying this place. Look forward to coming back every time!
If you are looking for authentic Mexican food Casa Garcia's fits the bill. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is family friendly. Definitely recommend
I was at Casa Garcia in Round Rock this Sunday. It was super busy! I pulled the manager aside. I think his name was Brian and we talked very briefly to commend him and all staff. He was doing an amazing job going back-and-forth, helping in any way that was needed while briefly checking on patrons’ satisfaction. He even gave us to go cups for our iced tea. We appreciate them going that extra mile to ensure people return. We love the atmosphere and we appreciate Brian’s attentiveness. Definitely our go to 👏🏻 !
This was our first time here and the food and service were awesome. The food was fresh and hot. Our server, William, was attentive and professional and friendly. He did a great job and look forward to coming back for some of the recommendations he made. Great job Casa Garcia!
Our go to place for cheese enchiladas! Their salsa is delicious also. My toddler loves their bean and cheese tacos. The flour tortillas are homemade is an added plus. Service can either be great or slow depending on which waiter you get.
If your looking for good authentic tasting Mexican food this place is it! I recommend the menudo. It is outstanding! Some of the best I’ve had. Fresh made corn and flour tortillas. Give this place a try. The 4.1 is so underrated.
This location is our "Go to" for TexMex and great drinks by Stacey Guzman! We meet every weekend with our breakfast club! Our bar service is always great and the food is delicious! Mary the manager is caring and always checking out the quality of the service and food! She supports her staff with kindness and respect. She never fails to jump in and lend a hand!
We love our Round Rock location! Great service at the bar by Stacey Guzman! Food expediters that always ask if anything else is needed before leaving the table. Mary is an awesome manager. She is always helpful and supports her staff!! ❤️
We hosted our first Family Christmas dinner here and Maria Villarreal did such an amazing job accommodating such a large party at the last minute. Her staff was very organized, food was out very fast. I thought there may be a delay due to the size of the party but nope, they were on top of EVERYTHING. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will be back next year!
I love this place!! i’ve been coming every week for the last 2 months. Cesar is usually my server/bar tender! he’s freaking amazing! always taking care of me and my girl friend and couldn’t be any more happier we will continue to come back! the food is so freaking amazing!! would suggest to anyone!!
All Casa Garcias locations I've been to have the greatest pozole I've found in the Austin area (only around wintertime though). At this location, Cesar, William, Mateo, and Marcela always provide great service (not as familiar with the other servers but sure they're good too). Want to put in a good word for Mari as well. Front desk staff always friendly and pleasant as well.
This spot hit the mark like abuela’s Sunday breakfast. The food was hot, hearty, and full of soul — real homestyle cooking that made me feel right at home. I had chorizo and eggs, plus some over-easy eggs smothered in ranchero sauce, and let me tell you, that carne guisada was melt-in-your-mouth good. The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and the homemade tortillas? Soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up every last bite. It’s the kind of meal that sticks with you — comforting, authentic, and made with love. If you're craving true Tex-Mex comfort food, this is the place. To add William was our server and he was a delight fast and friendly.
Let me tell you this is one of the best restaurants I came to eat super clean if not, one of the cleanest in town .The manager is so polite and the staff five star guarantee , as soon as you walk in, they greet you right in the vibe is chill very comfortable. I love it here. Y’all come try it out for yourself ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I always have an Amazing experience starting with my bar tender/mixologist Stacey she knows exactly how to show customer service with a great smile, contagious laughter, fast service, and excellent attention. Mary the manager makes sure we are happy and our service is top notch. We love coming here for the past 3 years, especially for the care and attention we get from Stacey!! This is why we return and referr friends and family here!!
I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad experience. I always ask for Marcella as my server. Without a doubt she provides the best service, is always cheerful and attentive. She makes sure the food is delivered quickly and as ordered. She makes sure my coffee is fresh and plentiful. What a server!!!! Always asks me about my family and is genuinely interested!!!
Excellent breakfast tacos. Very soft, Fluffy tortillas. The migas are cheesy, substantial, & flavorful. Treat yourself to their chocolaty, fluffy, crispy sopapillas for dessert! The children's breakfast pancake plate is like a full adult portion! Staff is quick and responsive. Unfortunately, the AC was a little warm, and floors a little slippery. Otherwise, a pleasant experience. Definitely worth a drive!

We have been meeting for breakfast for a while now, the food is excellent, our waitress, Marcela, is always great, keeps our coffee filled and our table clean, and everyone is so friendly!

Finally great traditional texmex breakfast tacos in austin! We've tried a few other items and have yet to be disappointed!
Highly recommend Casa Garcia in Round Rock! The food and drinks are amazing! We always sit at the bar with Robert and he takes great care of us!

Thank you Brian for being so helpful and friendly. Just passing through town we were really hungry and we wanted something delicious. Food was great. Service was great.
Service needs work. I've been there many times. I just try to ignore that the service isn't up to par. We like the food.
Foods always great no matter the location. Service was a little slow for a half filled restutant.
The Menudo was delicious. Just right just like I like it with alot of tripe. The waitress Marcela was very nice and honest. Ill definitely come back.
One of my favorite lunch spots in Round Rock. Quality food, fast services and great customer service. We are always appreciative of restaurants that run an orderly lunch rush session. We never have to wait, the food (and plates) are always HOT and tasty. I recommend the lunch specials but be sure you specify if you want a combination plate or a lunch special. My husband enjoyed his shrimp enchiladas while I enjoyed my beef enchiladas and I finished his black beans.
Great food and the staff are polite and courteous. I love their margaritas but to get a margarita to go is like pulling teeth. Nobody knows what their actual restaurant policy is and it seems like they just make them up as they go cause it's always a different reason why you can't have one. 1st time was, I can't have one to go cause I already drank one, which makes no sense. None of this makes sense. 2nd time, you have to order it at the host station. 3rd time, I have to go outside and order it online. 4th time, I can't take one cause I already drank one but the person I was with, which by the way was my designated driver, could order one to go. 5th time they tried to say it's not legal, which is not true and there are several restaurants all over Texas that sell margaritas to go. Anyway, point is, don't order a margarita to go cause it will only frustrate you, lol. Other than that, it's a great restaurant!
I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got my chance. It was hardly busy on a Thursday evening with plenty of empty tables but still had to wait behind another party before we could be seated. I guess people make more money on unemployment than they do working these days. The food was all very good although I expected larger portions. Our waiter was friendly and efficient enough. Prices were right in line with most of the other decent restaurants in the area. Overall I rate this place a solid 4 stars.
Perfectly cooked chicken with nicely seared shrimp. Quesadillas were alright though.
Authentic, flavorful and tasty!!! Great and wonderful Mexican food, but horrible waiter. It was my first time here, but we all know first impressions are everything. If we had a better waiter I would have given 5 stars. Back to the food #1. I’ll be back. The menu had so many choices, and from what I saw (all the food on our table) everything looked amazing. Salsa & queso…yes yes. The adult beverages are also well made and will put u on yo behind if u have one too many. I enjoyed it here, I think you would too.
Potatoes, bacon and cheese 2 of them... had no cheese. The other 2 didn't have them either. Then they put literally 5 potato. On a $3.00 taco. They asked me to drive back another 20 min and then ge…

We been here several time and today was not good. The service was bad they sat us by the restroom when asked to be move they look at us like we were crazy. So we move and sat there 10 minutes before they came to get our drink. The guy had no personality like he didn't want to be there. We will not be back. U just lost some good customer.
Hit and miss all around....food had to be warmed... waiter unsure / lack of confidence of product...bathrooms extremely cold...
My food was ok, I don’t know about my friends. The three guys nonchalant could help out A LOT more so I hope the manager lets them know that. Because tell me why I have the bartender taking our orders? And I see everyone walking in and out the kitchen but rarely with any food. Just drinks I understand we all have our days. But at the very least try to mask it.
Waitress was very unfriendly... Very little eye contact and never smiled. My top shelf Margarita came with no salt and it tasted more like tequila and tonic. We have been coming here for at least 10 years because of the food and fresh tortillas but the service lately has us looking elsewhere.
Establishment was nice, out party was informed of a 45 minute wait upon arrival- four parties were waiting Prior to our arrival & were seated accordingly. Our party took note of seating open and available to the right of the establishment; as did the party before us. Upon this party addressing the open space with management staff William; who stated to them- “that table is small and you will be sitting knee to knee”. This party was seated to the left of the establishment. Our party waited approximately 20 more minutes and then was lead to the same table in the rear of the establishment- passing open tables that were NOT by the restroom. Upon food delivery- food runner was observed delivering our food with a dirty towel which was touching the inner plate and food. Partial good orders delivered separately with long periods in between delivery to table and some food orders were not received. Food was good but some was cold. Three tickets requested which were not correct and the ability to correct was difficult for staff and management. Management was dismissive.
I often enjoy the breakfast and atmosphere, but this morning they were playing bad classic rock. A Mexican restaurant should be playing music that lifts the spirits of the customers but I felt it made for bad atmosphere.
I had the pork chop breakfast plate with H2O and a coffee. JP had a beef fajita omelet with H2O and diet Pepsi. I told our server, Stacy, that I needed my food to be less salty. And, the kitchen only seasoned my pork chops. They were the moistiest pork chops I've had. John thought his omelet was filled with too much cheese, but the beef fajitameat was good. We left most of our potatoes on the plate, so we'll substitute them out next time. Our neighbors all enjoyed Casa Garcias breakfast tacos. Overall, we had a good dine-in experience and look forward to trying new options on their menu next time.
I had never been here before but I’m glad a relative recommended it. We came to celebrate my parents anniversary and everyone loved their dishes. The best part? I really liked the Mexican lemonade, the enchiladas and fajita meat. In fact, out of everything, everyone loved the fajita meat so much we were sharing it. It was incredibly tender and just perfect! The chips were also super good! We got too full on them because they were that delicious. The worst part? I’m so bummed we didn’t have a dessert. The options looked so good. I was hoping to try the pineapple tres leches but wasn’t able to. I guess I was too stuffed to order a slice! Also, when you’re driving, it’s easy to miss the entrance. It’s on a busy road but look for the yellow fence. If you miss it, it only takes a couple minutes to go around the block again. Update: came back the next day for breakfast. The best part? The chilaquiles! Holy smoke these are the bomb. I paid extra for chicken and an egg, totally worth it. The worst part? Service this time around was not very good. We called ahead of time to ask what the wait time was and we’re told there wasn’t any but when we arrived we were told about 25 minutes. This was fine with us but the wait time was longer. We were finally seated and a few orders were missing items and my drink took a long time to come. We also asked for dessert and it never came. When we asked again the waitress told us that the lady we asked wasn’t serving our table but that other lady said she’d bring it. The waitress seemed stressed and when we’d ask for things she only seemed to be able to take one thing at a time. I totally get it, we were a table of 17 so I’m sure we were a lot to handle but she wasn’t the friendliest to be honest and made us feel like we were a burden asking for things. Then at the very end, 2 out of the 3 receipts were confused so we had to get up and tell her the bills were handed out incorrectly and she said we were confusing her even though she was the one who had handed them out wrong. We tried to be as friendly as possible but towards the end, we had to be firm because she was overall kinda rude. For this second experience, I take away 2 stars.
Good was mediocre at best. Service was lacking! Used to be one of out favorites!
Food is good, nothing special. We mostly get their breakfast tacos. Service isn’t that great. They tell you 5-10 mins for a pick up order then when you arrive you wait an additional 15-20 mins sometimes more. They only have one host so the line will be backed up to get a table or to pick up an order. If you expect to get your food within a certain time that’s given and don’t want to wait additional time don’t come here. Plus, there is a chance they will get your order wrong. The one in pflugerville is way better! Never wait more than a couple mins for our Togo order.
The food at this location is always deliciously amazing! The service however, everytime we've gone here, we have the worst service. So disappointing!
We have been patrons of Casa Garcia for over ten years in Round Rock. So disappointed with our breakfast tacos this morning. I don’t think I’m exaggerating to say that each taco had about a tablespoon of barbacoa. I can understand cutting back but that is ridiculous.
No one was at the front to greet us. After about 4 minutes of standing there getting passed by servers, none of whom acknowledged us, we flagged someone down and then proceeded to wait more. We finally got seated and the waiter had the personality of a box of hair. The food was okay. The CG on William Cannon needs to come up to this restaurant and give a class on “hello”, “we’ll be right with you” and “thank you” and “can I get you anything else”. The overall service was terrible.
They always (profanity removed) up the order. It's at least 50/50. Especially if you use DoorDash. It sucks because the food actually ok

Been here TWICE and the AC has been "broken". It makes the environment not enjoyable. The food is good but I rather eat outside in 90 degree heat than in here. So hot and stuffy. Never coming back …
My one taco that I ordered came out cold and when mentioned to the waiter he took it to be microwaved then gave it back. The food quality did not taste "fresh" so I had just asked for the taco to…
I ordered the margarita from the drink menu for $5. They made me something else and charged me $5. The bar tender said they didn’t update the menu. The manager wanted to argue about it.
Ordered for first time and they gave me the wrong order so I took it back then they gave me the correct items but the food was frozen tv dinner quality at best and improperly prepared. Completely inedible 🤢🤢
The food was very salty, we ordered some fajitas in chiladas, they charged us for the picos de gallos and they didn’t even give us hot sauce, bad service!
MY FAMILY ALWAYS ENJOYS COMING HERE. THIS MORNING WE JUST HAD THE POOREST SERVICE WITH OUR SERVER RAUL. HE WAS DISMISSIVE AND NON ATTENTIVE. HOPEFULLY GOING FOWARD HE GROWS AND REPRESENTS THE BUSINESS WELL.
Your food sent out for door dash orders is below your average at the restaurant should. Your restaurant needs more work than you know when it comes to quality of service.
Everything was terrible. Quesadillas had almost no filling and the only chicken I could find was extremely undercooked, almost raw. Menudo was put in a cheap cup with a loosen lid inside of a paper bag… Lost my appetite when I arrived home (driving very slowly) and had to wash my car seat and mat.
Decided to try this place since their sister restaurant in Pville is solid. NOPE. Would not go here again. I am literally writing this review from the toilet. The tamales were dry. The taco shells were whack. Everything tasted like it’d been under a heat lamp ALL DAY. The service was also mediocre… took a while to get seated, barely managed to get one drink refill. Only thing that was fast was the food, presumably because it was already pre-made and sitting out! 0/10 would not recommend, i will stick to the Pflugerville location.
Our first time going to Casa Garcia's and they failed miserably. We could see coming in that they were busy. We didn't mind waiting to be seated. We received chips and salsa very quickly. That's where the quick response ended. We ordered waters and a margarita with sugar when the waiter finally greeted us. He had walked past us multiple times without acknowledgeling us. We got the waters eventually. About this point another couple was seated near us. They received their margaritas and food before we received our margarita or were able to place our food order. We finished 2 bowls of chips before we got our food and we had to ask for more salsa multiple times. The margarita came with salt on the rim. There was so much salt in the margarita that we couldn't drink it. Our food came to our table warm at best. My taco shells were so stale that they were inedible. We asked for corn tortillas instead. At least those came out hot. When we asked about being charged for the margarita we couldn't finish the waiter went and got the manager. She made lots of excuses and we got the impression from her repeated comments that we should have said something and had it replaced at the time we received it that she wanted us to pay for everything. It's hard to say something immediately when you don't see the waiter for 5+ minutes at a time. She did eventually remove the margarita charge but she was obviously irritated about removing it. We had told her that this was our first time here and we're hoping it would be a good experience, but did not have that experience. We definitely won't be back.
The bartender was rude. The plate they brought my chimichanga on was dirty with dried guacamole on the plate. The soup had tons of meat but didn't have much broth. When asked for more broth they wanted to charge $3.00 more for a bowl that already cost 15.99. I could understand if we asked for more meat but for more broth? We had to ask for silverware after our food came out. Bartender said he was taking our food order but a women came up instead. The bartender was rude so I didn't leave a big tip. He showed his annoyance regarding the tip as we were leaving. Not a place I would recommend.
Who ever is answering the phone is always rude! They need employee training standards across all of their restaurants!!! This morning I called and she yelled into the phone “I can’t hear you” and put me on hold. Next time I’ll just go to Santiago’s.
You know for All Mangers at Casa Garcias locations taste your Carne Guisada, Gentlemen taste like chile,NOT LIKE CARNE Guisada. Learn to make it . DO NOT ADD CHILE TO YOUR CARNE GUISADA. THAT BY FRIENDS IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD.
Inattentive staff, had an online order and it took 5 minutes for any staff to show up to the front. Could hear them laughing in the back though. Good food just bad service
Ordered some barbacoa tacos to go.. been coming for years so it was my go to for this. Before I took my second bite… I saw a thick very black short hair… my hair is brown and long and curly! I was immediately grossed out!! I also had bought an enchilada plate and guacamole. I spent a good amount of money. I called to let them know that I wanted a full refund… this was after a long day at work and we just wanted to have a decent dinner … the lady stated she could NOT give me a refund… didn’t even offer anything to compensate me and said that “corporate “ would have to call me!! Really?!!! Well.. I’m still waiting for corporate to call me.. three weeks later!!! I will NEVER eat at this location or any location again since this is how they handle their business!! I have supported this restaurant for years and have never complained until now. And by the way.. she said they didn’t make the barbacoa there and that the hair didn’t come from them… really?? So who in the heck cooks for them??? -I’m out!! BEWARE!!
I had the well with rancheros. I asked the waitress but I wanted flour tortillas. Another server came and left my meal he just turned around and left. I was cutting my eggs and they were overcooked so I waited for the waitress she took approximately like 10 minutes. Finally, check came out and I had to put my plate to the side. Unfortunately my lunch break was almost over so I asked her to give me my ticket Chico's weekend remake it for you. I told her I do not have any time she goes. I'm sorry I told her it's not your fault so she came back and she only charged me the coffee which was $ $3.50 I gave her five and again she apologized and again I told her it's not your fault. She told me she had told the manager so I just walked out. I would never go back to that place. I usually go to Garcia's on 1825. On pecan Street They have the best service and the best cooks there
Casa Garcia: Birthday Breakfast or Food Prank? Came here for my birthday thinking I’d treat myself — instead I got treated to a mystery meat experience. Ordered the pork chop and egg plate… the pork chops tasted like they’d been sitting in the witness protection program since 2020. Thin, dry, and suspicious. The rice was hard and cold — I’ve had warmer handshakes. Still waiting on the tortillas I asked for… maybe they clocked out early. The tea was the only thing that didn’t disappoint, and that’s only because it came from a jug. All in all, one more place to cross off my “never again” list. Casa Garcia, thanks for reminding me I can cook better at home — even with my eyes closed. 🎂😂
if i could give one star i would. service was horrible. waited 10 minutes after walking in before anyone acknowledged us, yet two managers were sitting at a table together just staring at us wait. another 10 minute wait to get drinks. we should have left but they usually have good food. and we were wrong. $40 for 3 tacos and a breakfast plate. the tacos....terrible and served on mission flour tortillas right out the bag, not homemade like usual. when asking the waitress why my tortillas for my breakfast plate were homemade but the breakfast tacos were on mission cheap tortillas. no explanation, just said thats all they have right now, per management. as we walk out people at the front door are now back but dont even thank you for your business or acknowledge you are leaving. not the type of service or level of quality food expected for the price. wont go back.
My sister, a friend and myself went tonight and we were so excited. We ordered 3 dinners & as soon as it was brought to us and the waiter Ricky C handed us our plates with no towel I knew the food was not hot. All 3 of us ordered basically the same thing..enchiladas were cold and the beans and rice were barely luke warm. We told the server and he took everything back and I decided to eat my taco. I took about 3 bites and bit down on something that was hard. I spit out a chunk of metal. We told our waiter and he told the manager who seemed apologetic. He also said he put his finger in the beans and agreed they were cold. WHY would you tell us you did that? Offered a free desert. He went and spoke to the kitchen and they confirmed what we figured it was, the metal ring that holds the giant tubes of ground beef together on the ends. All evening we had to call Ricky over to get drink refills, more salsa and finally the check. We never got our dessert so we asked if they would comp my dinner. Ricky was clueless about a dessert. He asked the manager and came back and said “so you want the FREE dinner instead of the dessert?” Wow.. maybe say “you prefer we comp your dinner instead of getting the dessert?” When I asked for the check he came back with his machine. I want a paper check so I can look at it and I do NOT want you standing over me watching me and waiting to see what your tip is. I paid in cash and when he came back he chose to keep my coins.. yes it was 18 cents BUT that was my decision to give it to him. If he keeps 18 from me, 50 cents at the next table, etc. The manager should have done a better job when he found out I had bit down on a piece of metal that could have broken my tooth. Ricky was very nice but not a good waiter. Food was good after it came back hot. Did think $10 for a small Queso is ridiculous. We will not be returning most likely.
Ordered TO-GO food and waited over a hour! They wanted to argue about they didn’t have an order for me but I showed them my call log and showed them I called this restaurant. They wanted to compensate me by not charging me my 3 breakfast tacos I ordered and gave me chips and salsa but then Maria the manager decides to walk up and say I have to pay for the meal that the front clerk just said to take. After a whole hour wait for a to go order for 3 bean and cheese tacos. The manager can’t even just let me walk out for something that is not my fault!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never coming back here again!
My family and I have been a patron of Casa Garcia’s for years. From our last dining experience, I ordered a fajita for one to go. I live about 30 minutes from the restaurant. By the time I made it home, I noticed they did not place any tortillas in my order. It is difficult to eat fajitas without tortillas! I called up to Casa Garcia Garcia, and informed them that they forgot to put flour tortillas in my order. I spoke with Brian and he informed me that I can get two free tacos and a Tres leches dessert for the inconvenience. He even informed me and apologized that he has to trained the employees better to make sure they are checking the bags before they send to go orders out. He even mentioned they weren’t even busy so he’s not sure why they did not add flour tortillas to the order. I came back the week later to redeem my two free tacos. Upon checking out, Marisol, the general manager stated that that is not a part of their policy to offer tacos to orders. She mentioned that they cannot comp the two taco orders because that’s not part of their policy and that he told me the wrong information. She even mentioned that she spoke with Brian and he said he does not remember stating that information at all. They asked me if I had my receipt, I showed them my receipt. I even showed them the call log of eight minutes of me talking to Brian that night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO NOT PATRON THIS RESTAURANT BECAUSE OF THEIR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY NOT ACCOMMODATING FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKE. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO NOT VISIT ANY OF THE LOCATIONS FROM HERE ON OUT.
