Stopped in for brunch on our way back home from a weekend trip and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was!! We started with the barbacoa stackers which were absolutely delicious!! My favorite thing I tried there! We also had barbaco enchiladas which were really a tostada but still pretty good just nit what I had in mind. Ended with the avocado toast which was really good too but unfortunately we were to full to completely enjoy it. Mimosas were good, a little on the light side but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again.

I had an amazing experience at Jack Allen’s Kitchen in Round Rock thanks to Jennifer! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuine the entire time. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and effortless. Jennifer made our meal that much better! we’ll definitely be back and asking for her again! Thank you Jennifer 💪💪💪

I had some more Jack Allen’s today with the family under my recommendation. It was a great choice once again, no complaints. I had the stacked pancakes on the brunch menu and everything tasted just right. I’ll be back to try the Still Austin bourbon!

Our group were in the patio for almost a private setup. We all like how quiet it is so we can still hear each other without screaming. Our servicer was super attentive and helpful, brought gluten free menu, refill ahead of time, checked on us to make sure we get everything. It was a very comfortable lunch for my group, we will definitely go back again :)

It is very rare to get almost every dishes top notch when you order 5-6 dishes. We ordered Slow Braised Barbacoa Enchiladas, Pesto marinated crab stuffed chicken, Grilled Ruby Trout, Ruby Red Trout Salad & Southern Crispy chicken Sandwich. Hats off to them for flawless super delicious dishes. Also they greeted us with small on the house appetizers which was mouthwatering.

Right away, the waiter gave us a little plate of pimiento cheese, which I wanted to try! I had spinach pasta that tasted amazing with bread. The migas were different but okay. The chocolate cake was small but really rich. I want to go back!

I will give it a five star because food quality is very good. Food quantity makes it a 4 star. I got a salad with chicken on it, it was very good but for 17.99 it did not have a lot to it. The burgers are the way to go. Big and reasonably priced. Their chips and salsa are awesome too. I would definitely visit this place again.

Probably the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in all of Texas! Doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside is very modern. Service was amazing! Food was delicious, even the vegetables were fantastic!! We of course came here for the chicken fried steak and it wasn’t an absolute masterpiece! This place is a 8.7 on my restaurant list. I’d tell all my friends about this place!!

We had an enjoyable lunch at Jack Allen's Kitchen. We were seated immediately as we walked in and greeted by our server. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Our order was chicken fried steak and a steak and fundido plate. We would definitely eat here again.

My friend and I ate here for lunch. It was around 1 pm and not too busy. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. I asked specific questions about menu items, and he was able to answer them. I ordered the chicken nachitos, which were tasty, and it was a good portion size. My friend ordered the veggie tacos, and she said they were yummy and would order those again. Great food and service.

We had the chips and salsa, the killer cheese burger, the mushroom steak enchiladas, and the blue crab ravioli. Everything was really good and served with sides, except the ravioli. The portions were ok for the prices. Expect to pay between $20 to $30 depending on your drinks.

There brunch menu is by far sooo good! Mimosas...EXCELLENT! I got the chicken and biscuits that comes with this green chili gravy (that I was not about to put blindly over my chicken and biscuits) left it on the side wasn't to my taste and used honey/syrup with some breakfast potatoes... yeah my plate didn't last long. (Other photos of catfish sticks, chicken fried steak my husbands enjoys everytime he is here, my father tried out there pasta some cajun spiced up thing turned out to be really good while my sister got the mini pancakes and breakfast sandwich. All in all we actually will go back. Always helps to make a reservation Jack Allen's is no exception!

First visit tonight. The fries green tomatoes were Amazing!!! The tangy sauce and cilantro slaw made the dish. I had the chicken with Mac n cheese. It was very hot served in the skillet. To top it off we had the blonde brownie with Mexican vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend the appetizer and dessert. I plan to return and try the steak salad w onion rings. The lady next to me had it and the steak smelled delicious.

Too much breading on fried chicken with biscuits, more breading than chicken itself. It came with fried potatoes and obviously biscuits, so the plate was 90% bad carbs and only 10% of chicken and lots of black pepper (way too much). Not so many options on the menu to choose from. The trout I asked the waiter about was farm raised. The breakfast sandwich had barely any taste and came with over fried hushbrown. Well, this was my first and last time at this restaurant. For two plates of brunch, apple juice, coke and four barbacoa tiny appetizers we paid $64. Also, it looks like they count on selling alcohol beverages rather than serving good quality food which is also overpriced.

So sad to write this. I've had meals at this location 200 plus times over the last 2 years. We live 1/2 mile away. Usually is fantastic food and service. Me and my family rely on the fantastic consistency. The last few trips to Jack Allen's has been subpar. Today's brunch service may be the final straw. Burnt eggs, horrific fish tacos, and 13 spiced chicken pasta that was so bland it tasted like heavy cream and overcooked pasta. Our waitress said "so sorry our kitchen staff is all new." What the heck. That's not the response or the quality expected for the price. Very disappointed. I hope you get your stuff together or lots of loyal customers will find another place to eat 2-3 days a week.
