The chicken was very fresh and the service was excellent. The store is very clean. New owners are doing a great job. I highly recommend this establishment, very good food at a reasonable price.

I've grown up eating church's chicken and I can say it's my favorite fried chicken. I've been at this location several times and have always had a great customer service. When I have to wait for freshly made chicken they offer me a free drink. Clean place.

I know times are tough for all businesses. You can definitely tell that the staff is short handed. Even through all that. The team was still able to get my order out correctly and fresh. I will admit it took longer than usual. But that's to be expected with employee shortages everywhere. Value is still great with the daily specials here. *Bonus is the location still serves fried gizzards made to order. They were hot and crispy.

My family and I had such a great experience here. The general manager Siavash was so kind and generous. He was cooking our food and handling our order while the other employees were working diligently on our sides. It’s very evident how well run this location is. Most drive thru's (not saying all) just funnel you through barely saying a word if at all and even had some holding the bag out the window before I even got to the window. They have the best customer service for this to be Church’s Chicken. The cashiers are always nice and accommodating. I was told I would have to wait 17 minutes for something. They offered me a drink for the wait and even came out to my car to see if I needed condiments or anything else. There are closer restaurants but there service is worth the drive from Garland.

This location provides fresh crispy chicken, delicious sides, and friendly service. Highly recommend. Service was fast and friendly. The only thing I may add is that they may have forgotten my jalapeños, but it’s no big deal.

Even though they were short handed we didn't wait too long. I watched everyone running around filling orders and taking orders. There was not one person doing one job. Everyone was being productive and helping everywhere. Our food was hot and fresh. We thought about eating there and decided not to cause they were short staffed and we didn't want to added more clean up work for them.

I went in around 7:30 PM this evening and had a fantastic experience. The crew working at that time was awesome. My husband and I love Church’s chickens so we eat it often when traveling. This is BY FAR the BEST ONE we’ve ever been to! The food came out fast so I assumed it was old. Nope. It was hot, fresh, literally STEAMING!!! The biscuit was super big and really soft. As we were leaving Steve asked how it was. I couldn’t help but rave that it was amazing. I’ll continue driving out here to eat, even though it’s 30 mins from my house. Super happy to have eaten here today.

The service was slow in the drive through. There was a delay in taking my order and I waited awhile at the window. The order was correct but they did have to do a substitution. The white meat chicken that I ordered was a strange cut without much meat on it. The staff was friendly. It's okay in pinch.

It was close to closing time. The staff was polite and helpful. The spicy chicken strips were good, but the white gravy was not. The okra was perfect. Not bad experience overall.

Window server was not polite at all. Never have dealt with her before. Maybe just having a bad day. Food nice a hot and the size of the wings are awesome. Didn't care for their fish. Not enough for your buck.

Chicken was good as always. The service was not as good as it should be. We got food to go. We drove back to the house and found items missing from our order. It was too far to go back. I called and the young man said to bring everything back along with our receipt and he would see what he could do. Didn't drive all the way back there. Too much hassle. They got my order wrong the first two times. I ordered thru drive , drove home, found order wrong, had to go back then I went inside. Seems like my chicken strips were re-dipped in oil. $19 for Three spicy tenders and a large combo… Chicken strips had no batter & greasy. Poppers were lukewarm. Charged a $1 just to upsize the drink and asked for easy ice she fills the whole cup up with ice… Qualities drop and increased prices since Covid like every other place…

Try to charge me for sauce. When I ordered bombers and ask for jalapeño cream sauce. So I just canceled everything when I could've spent $50.

So if I go to the drive-thru, order #1, am asked regular or spicy, say "regular", the man repeats "regular" back to me, I drive up to the window and the same man says, #1 spicy......I stop him and say " no...regular", he half yells to someone that it's REGULAR, I get home, bite into the chicken and it's SPICY......what the heck is wrong? This was my 1st trip to this location, is it what I could expect if I went there again? This was a FAIL!!!

My mom was in town, so I wanted to enjoy a favorite from my childhood. Big disappointment. I arrived home to upside down and spilled mashed potatoes, gravy and green bean juice leaking onto my seats. The rotisserie chicken was actually a small quail sized bird and the strips were tiny, there wasn’t enough food available after the spill to feed my family. They offered a 50% discount, on my next order, but I won’t be back.

Tried to place an order on the drive thru. But the female said that the food had to cook and it would take a few minutes. It's only 8:35 but she said since the store was busy she wasn't going to sell me anything. Only 25 minutes! Seriously? Smh plus they don't move the cars. Only wasting my time sitting here in the drive thru line. One car parked and the other one at the window that doesn't move!

Customer service was good. I order a small okra and two biscuits. The okra was hard to chew in some parts and one of the biscuits was overcooked. I was disappointed because I mainly came for the biscuits.

I placed an order via doordash and was quite frustrated to find that my large side was missing from my order. I spent $35 for 10 tenders, no biscuits and a whole missing side. Not to mention there looked like 2 different types of tenders! Almost as if they ran out of tenders and then bought tenders from another place and threw it on the box. I called and the employee said I can come and get my side, mam i just paid 7.00 in delivery fees how does that make it right. I asked for the manager she said he was gone so I requested a callback, although I know I wont geg one. Needless to say I won't be ordering from there again. It's a reason why Church's Chicken is almost obsolete!

I use to pick up chicken here a couple of times a week but over the last several months it has been consistently bad. Tastes like old grease and if you go at 430 they give you what's under the heat lamp from 11am. What's going on?

Omg, I never wrote a totally bad one star review but bestie, this is it! We had to pay and extra 1.50 ish to use a debit card instead of cash. My straw was so flimsy it bent just trying to go in the cup, never mind the ice. The tenders were hard and dry. We were in the drive thru 20 minutes and they still got our order wrong!! Dave yourself the hassle, Golden Chick is only a couple blocks away. I see Chapter 11 in their future.

Ordered through Grubhub - 12 pc Mixed, original with 2 sides, both mashed potatoes. Received 10 thighs, all spicy, dripping in oil and no potatoes to be found. Handled it through Grubhub and was completely refunded. Frustrating. Wanted chicken, not refund. Can they not read a very simple order?

This place is slow. I'm reading some of these other reviews and they are so fake. This is not the churches from your childhood. They run this one horrible. The tenders were disgusting, I went back after better judgment of the last time I went and thr food was messed up got all the way home and had to go back. One star is to good of a rating for this location.This is the worse chicken place in DFW. Every time I have visited this place there is a problem. Today I tried to order the Mega Bite special, only to be told that they no longer have the Mega Bite. When I asked WHY then is there is a big sign on the window advertising a $5 Mega Bite special the manger had NO Response. Then I asked for the $5 special that was advertised on the shirt she was wearing, she said that it was an old shirt and that the special had expired. Needless to say, I turned and walked away. I promise you will never get any of my business.

Didn’t get the chicken I ordered left out 2 side items and a biscuit on just a two meal order. This is not the first time they got my order wrong. I will go to golden chicken down the street next time.

Stopped by today to pick up some chicken on my way home. Ordered an 8 piece gizzard with mac-n-cheese and coleslaw. Also ordered two wings and a biscuit. The picture is the supposed "8 piece" but only got six. They also forgot to give me the coleslaw. This is the second time they have messed up an order for me. I gave them a pass the first time, and went back and picked up my order of gizzards they forgot to give me, but now, not sure I want to go back. If you happen to pull through their drive-thru window, make sure you check your order before you leave.

For real, fries was half frozen when given, fish sandwiche was literally frozen fish with a little bit off sauce on it , chicken sandwich is 2 out of 100, came at 12:55 Friday

DO NOT visit this location of Church's. The employees are ALWAYS rude, they forget to put items in your bag, and they serve old chicken. Today, I had the rudest experience. I ordered a 3 piece chicken meal. I wanted it white and spicy. When I got to the drive thru window, they told me they didn't have 3 pieces of chicken that were spicy and asked if I wanted some original. I said no. I asked if they could make more and said I would wait. The RUDE female employee, Vejin, got an attitude and questioned why I would wait 15 minutes for chicken. They were not busy, they are a chicken restaurant, and it's my 15 minutes waiting. I think she was just being lazy. I demanded a refund and left. Don't waste your time and energy here. They have permanently lost my business. There are too many other restaurant options with the same food in the area.

Chicken tenders that had been reheated. Very tough and tasted horrible. Ordered combo with 2 large sides, received 2 individual sides. Used door dash to deliver and it took them 30 minutes after picking it up... they are less than 5 minutes away from me. Food cold on top of the quality issue. I got full refund. Will never get churches chicken again because of poor quality food.

The worst of the worst experience ever I arrived at the Sachse Churchs Chicken location 8/3/19 @ 9:50pm 10 minutes before close I ordered the 3 piece tender meal with mashed potatoes and a large order of jalapeño bombers before I placed my order I asked the cashier if they would be able to do the order or if it was to late and she responded yes we can complete your order so I payed I get home to the completely wrong order I called the next day to speak to a store manager and he said if you want something done you need to bring us the chicken back so it’s not about the chicken or the money the store manager didn’t even have the respect to apologize for his employees anyway not going back ever and wouldn’t want you to be in the same situation good luck 👌🏼

Updated review I ordered 16$ worth of food drove 15 minutes to get it and the original chicken has zero flavor just flour chicken and oil! Just disgusting! I was advised to bring it back to get my money back I’m pissed about driving all that way! Will never go to this location again!!!

Have been eating here for years. Tried to order online for first time. Accidentally started order at Plano location. After price came up I realized wrong location and cancelled and restarted order for Sachse location. Order exact same thing, but it was 45% more. Double checked. Won't be back. That is unacceptable price gouging.

I went ,ordered a meal that had a sign on it 9.99 for 3 piece chicken wing! he says came with a side so i got my side! I saw my reciept of course after i find out it was 10.99! it's my fault but i did call him to let him know that his sign was wrong and he over charged me Of course I am wrong because he has different meal orders some are Premium? i was charged for using my card 1.20 as well,so i just told him alright, I knew i wasn't getting anything back Next time I'll just go to Golden Chick!Please people look at reciept before leaving i do this all the time i dropped the ball here!Total for 2 people 33.61,2 Meals. This Church's Chicken location in Sachse used to be great. It was always fresh hot crispy and juicy. The last 3 times I went there it was terrible. Yesterday I picked up a family meal with 2 sides and biscuits. The chicken was nasty. It was if they dropped yesterday's chicken in the fryer again. It was soggy full of old grease and just plain gross. Not fit for human consumption. Family wouldn't eat it so I threw it in the trash. As the saying goes. Three strikes and you're out. I will drive to Garland next time I want Church's Chicken.

I dont like to leave bad reviews first thing the atmosphere was fine and the lady i beleive she was the manager was so nice only problem I had was I got fried okra and it was so gross it had been cooked In old grease so I went to return it snd Informed her that the oil was probably old she agreed and said yes we are actually changing it now... she said they change it twice a day but that grease was over 24 hours old... so my advice when you go is to simply ask if they have changed there oil first.
