Avaliações de The Mill Sacramento
Been here a couple of times now, and it’s becoming a favorite. Excellent artisanal espresso / coffee, small rotating baked goods selection, fresh waffles. Calming atmosphere, relaxing playlists - wood tables and plenty of seating (limited outlets). Outdoor seating available too.
The Mill is a great coffee shop in Midtown. The coffee was delicious, and I ordered a waffle that was just as good—fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The seating is comfortable and well laid out, making it a nice place to relax or hang out for a bit. The service was wonderful, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Everything I had was solid, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
The Mill on I is easily one of my main coffee obsessions in Sacramento. The space is cozy, rustic, and modern—basically an IKEA catalog as a coffee house. Sure, it looks like a place where the baristas might judge your life choices, but plot twist: everyone here is actually super friendly and chill. Like, I’ve been here a hundred times and not once has anyone scowled at how basic I am. Now let’s talk about the chairs. If you’ve got a bad back (hi, it’s me), prepare for betrayal. The seating feels... intentionally uninviting? Like it was specifically designed to scare off the "I'm just here for the Wi-Fi" crowd. And if you’ve got a group bigger than a Grindr date, finding a seat might feel like a game of musical chairs. But—BUT—on a nice day, the back patio is an absolute dream. Cozy, charming, and a little slice of Midtown magic. The menu? Minimal, but mighty. It caters to everyone from snobby third-wave coffee nerds to the “just need caffeine, please save me from Starbucks” crowd. They roast their own beans, and you can taste the love. I’m partial to their cappuccino. But let’s get to the real stars of the show. First: the dirty chai. The chai blend is homemade, it’s bold, it’s rich, it’s balanced... it’s basically the Michelle Yeoh of drinks—it does everything, everywhere, all at once. And I am here for it, but iced. Second: the yeasted waffle. Oh. My. Waffle. Life-changing. Pro tip: swing by The Mill, grab a dirty chai and a waffle, and walk over to the Midtown Farmers Market (where this place got its start, btw). Trust me—you’ll feel like a main character in a rom-com. Yes, the wait time can be a little on the slow side. Like, just long enough for you to start homescrolling Zillow. But honestly? I’m convinced it’s just the baristas putting a little extra love into every cup. How I break down my ⭐️ reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥
Great espresso and awesome place work and study! Honestly I do like Scorpio's single Oregon here than the one here currently... But overall they scored as a great place still
A perfect ☕️ of Cortado 👌 unfortunately since it's almost end day I'm a lil late for the yummy waffle 🧇 which is a must if you stop by here!!
Good atmosphere ✨ Love nature theme Coffee is good! I went another cafe they were brewing Mill brand coffee too, so must be good. Waffle 🧇 was also nice and soft crunchy. Pastries are also good. Nice and relaxing place to stop by!
Vibes = 10/10, super cozy spot to hang out. Croissant was amazing (def a 5/5) and the coffee was solid too. Service was good, not over the top, but overall a really nice stop if you’re in Sac.
Super cute, quaint, and quiet cafe with tasty pastries and incredibly friendly service. Can’t go wrong with this cafe. Neutral colors fill this industrial, yet warm and cozy space. Stools, window, and communal seating provide a variety of cozy spots to sit and enjoy an afternoon coffee. Outside, a beautiful tree lined street in midtown Sacramento offer an ideal spot for a quiet coffee alone or a friendly chat while taking in the soothing ambiance. If you’re in Sacramento and want a nice brew in a calm setting, this is the spot.
Love this place! ESP their waffles. Their coffee is really good and seating is really nice. Not the ideal place to study but good to meet and have a group meeting.
It was my first time here and I was pleasantly suprised. The drinks were great and the waffle was delicious. We got an oatmilk latte and a mocha. The barista was really nice and she was working hard by herself on a busy Monday. Exceeded my expectations. We'll definitely be back!
The waffle is so good. I also tried for the first time a espresso tonic. And it was so unique. Reminded me of an italian soda because I put some sugar in mine. Also the atmosphere of the place was super chill and the people were nice.

Nice coffee place with nice atmosphere. I came for a pastry but the options are limited. There are other alternatives on the menu. I'm sure it's not the best coffee shop in town. I wouldn't mind going back though. It can get noisy.
Perfect for downtown. A little boujee but otherwise, cool place to grab a warm drink. The atmosphere welcoming, with enough seating and tables, for coffee dates or solo study time. Otherwise, not good for groups. The menu offers plenty of choice, including coffee, espresso based drinks, teas and others. Most people will find something they like. Staff was chill and helpful, only mild complaint is the higher prices. But that’s what you get for shopping local! :)
A shoutout to Sactown Magazine for recommending this place to me according to a light read about an article they had published about astrological signs and the best coffee shops around town that match them. Before that I had never heard about The Mill, and yes so far their Vanilla Latte never disappoints. They only come in one size which I don’t mind. If you enjoy a minimalistic decor then this place is for you. They also have a cute seating area outdoors as well.
The atmosphere of this place is awesome, I love it. The coffee was only OK for me, take this with a grain of salt however, since I did order off menu. Went in on a recommendation from one of my favorite Barista's in Chico, ordered a Flat White. The coffee that came was less than pretty, in fact it had no art on it whatsoever. As far as taste, i would say it wasn't really a flat white, more it tasted like a cappuccino, with too much milk. A bared through it. Honestly, though it wasn't a true flat white, whatever it was, it was good. The atmosphere of this coffeehouse is very relaxed, and open, it would be a great place to meet with coworkers, or get some studying done, maybe even just a quick cup of brew before the days work. Overall this place really would have gotten 5 stars easy If the Flat White was a Flat White. As stated previously however, take this with a great of salt, because this is off menu. Although usually this is never an issue for most all Barista's. I'm just glad they gave it a shot and whatever came to me tasted good.
A very decent coffee shop. I quite enjoyed my almond croissant. The coffee was good too. It's a little chilly now on this foggy November morning with the front door open. A cold breeze blows through whenever someone passes through the rear door.
The I street location is very clean and sleek. The coffee is nice and the blueberry muffin was moist and delicious. The staff were nice and helpful. Great place to enjoy a relaxing coffee and treat.

Great place to work from a laptop. Good espresso served with courtesy sparkling water. Drink preparation was pretty slow. Blueberry scone, which was recommended, turned out to be dry. I actually ate the top part with the glass sugar and threw the rest away. I probably wouldn't go for baked goods again, but if I had work to do nearby I'd have a coffee.
Minimalist interior. Located right in between New Era and Midtown. Friendly baristas. Latte temperature was a bit high, therefore a bit more watery than creamy. Parking: parking with meters available on surrounding streets, or park further away (G street and 21st street) on streets with free two hour parking.

We visited Mills Coffee Shop this morning and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The place was nearly empty, yet the customer service we received was dismissive and unwelcoming. When I asked about their Wildflower Latte, the only response I got was, “It’s good,” with no further explanation. Meanwhile, every customer who came in after us was greeted warmly, given detailed answers, and treated with noticeably more care and attention. The contrast in treatment was so clear that it felt discriminatory, and it left us very uncomfortable. A coffee shop should be a welcoming space for everyone, but sadly, this was not the case during our visit.

Super loud atmosphere inside, think packed bar level noise, nothing cozy or relaxing about it. Menu is up front in front of cash register so you stand in line no way of reading the menu, and then you get up to the register and they ask you what you want LOL yoh let me read your menu now, the 8 people in line can wait. Coffee was meh, super lot of creamer/milk. Honestly for $10 I expected hella more. Didnt know they have food? Nothing on menu said anything about food
