This is the third time we’ve come back to this particular Denny’s. The food has always been really good in comparison to some of the other Denny’s we’ve been to. One of your Servers, Jennie has always been very hospitable attentive and prompt with her service. We keep returning because of Jennie and the food.

I loved it here. Me and my mom went to this restaurant after school and had some amazing food and our server, Jennie was really nice and sweet. She felt like an old friend we haven’t seen in a while. Absolutely loved her. I hope I get to come back soon.

Misty at Denny’s deserves a medal (and probably a nap)! If Denny’s gave out Olympic gold medals for service, Misty would be standing on the podium waving to her adoring fans right now. This woman absolutely smoked her shift — like, full-on Gordon Ramsay intensity but with the patience of a kindergarten teacher and the smile of someone who actually enjoys their job (which in 2025 is basically a miracle). It looked like she was the only server on duty, or at least the only one doing any actual serving, and yet somehow she kept the whole restaurant running like a finely tuned waffle-making machine. Coffee refilled? Yup. Orders correct? Perfect. Pancakes fluffy? You bet. Customers happy? 100%. In a world where “good work ethic” is about as rare as a UFO sighting, Misty showed what it looks like when someone still takes pride in their job. She didn’t just serve — she hustled, smiled, and owned that floor like a boss. So, Denny’s, if you’re reading this — give this woman a raise, a trophy, and maybe a day off. Misty made our day, and we’ll be coming back just because of her.

Denny's is actually my boyfriend and I's comfort restaurant and we've visited the different ones around Sacramento just to change it up when we go. This one has tied itself with our other favorite one after only a single visit!! Both servers that checked on us (Joe, Mark(?)) were so friendly, attentive, and kind! I feel like they really made me feel the cozy and cheery American diner experience 🫶 Also so happy Denny's has coke zero now!!

this is by far the best Denny’s in the world my hubby and I used to go to the Denny’s in Carmichael by where we used to live, but this one is way better. The guy named Joe is a great guy. He’s very sweet and very kind. Both my husband and I absolutely loved Joe. He was a funny dude very sweet and also when I told Joe that we are celebrating because my hubby got a job and started his New job yesterday he gave my hubby a cheesecake on the house because we were celebrating my hubby‘s new job. Every time I've gone to this location, the service is always amazing. Unfortunately, I frequent at more odd hours than usual, so there's usually only one (maybe two) server(s), but boy does he do his job and more. Misty and Joe(? I've been coming to this Denny's often for almost a month now. This location is under new management and the manager, John is awesome. Very professional, very helpful, very friendly. Always making sure everyone and everything is taken care of. He does everything; from managing to serving to cooking. The sausage here is amazing! It's surprising how much a change in management can improve a store. I definitely will keep coming back.

We went to eat at around 11pm. Everything seemed organized and our waitress Jennie did a good job attending us whenever she could, as she was the only one at that time. This Denny's was clearly understaffed. There were many open tables, but not enough staff to clear them so new guests could be seated. We were finally given a booth, ordered and got our food fairly quickly. The people who arrived before us, were just getting served their meals as we were leaving. Spoke with John this morning after ordering a $40 order and he included no syrup. Who do you know eats pancake with no syrup!!! Not only was he rude but he told me to call corporate. For syrup! You sir should careful whom you deal with especially with the public.

We also came before 10 on kids eat free night and was told it doesn't apply to this location even though it states it on the menus they gave us. Bacon was microwaved, sausage was burnt cooked in microwave. As mater of a fact a majority of our food was definitely cooked by microwave. Our server was really bad as well. She never once asked us for refills and came out only for the check. 0/10 don't recommend.

I ordered the lumberjack Grand slam. The ham steak I've seen bologna thicker I've seen green scrubbies thicker with about as much flavor. The two strips of bacon I wouldn't even call them a strip of bacon combined.. the hash browns were undercooked the only good thing about the meal the eggs were cooked and the pancakes were nice toast is alright. But for almost $19 I don't think so I don't know what's going on with restaurants nowadays that was my third time going out to a restaurant within a year and that is it for me as far as restaurants go I'd rather cook at home. At least I'll get a good meal. I see pictures of other hash browns and they look cooked mine weren't even Brown at all.

The steak and eggs were disgusting. The eggs (sunny side up) were damn near raw. They must have put in last nights leftover fries because they were rock hard and cold. I ordered a medium rare steak and they gave me burnt cardboard. It tasted like cardboard too. I get that’s it’s dennys and I wasn’t expecting the best quality but this is absurd.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The first time, a family came in at the same time as us with a larger group, and they ordered, ate, paid, and left before we even got our 2 plates. The second time, it took almost 60 minutes just to get one simple to-go plate, an Everyday Value meal, nothing special. Two separate visits, both terrible experiences.. they forgot my forks as well… just two knives. Food isn’t all the way cooked either Is what it is but definitely annoying considering it was my birthday plate haha.
