Excellent service. Sadly I didn't get his name but he was excellent. The food was delicious. Rhe salmon was perfectly cooked and flavored and the tomato soup was mmmmm mmmmmm so good. The building decor and condition could use a freshen up for sure but the food and service were top line.

The bathroom smelled like bleach. I was convinced it was the best place to eat LOL. A very clean atmosphere, very nice staff, and very delicious food. You can't go wrong with this chain especially when you're new to the area and don't know where to go for a good bite to eat. Just make sure you have plenty of time because they are a little slow with service even with a light crowd so I can only imagine when it's busy. But I was not disappointed.

I STOPPED IN THERE TO WATCH A RAIDER FOOTBALL GAME. In which there were fans at the bar and at tables. I sat at a table to where there was a TV. And after ordering they changed it to a baseball game. I have to ask the manager to change it back to where it was before because I couldn't see the TV from where I was at. The manager told me he had to change it to a baseball game to switch it up. Well switch it to the other side I asked. And so he did. I found it odd when I asked the manager to turn the volume up so that we could hear the game 2 sunday's ago, he said he wasn't able to turn the volume up on the game. I kind of found that odd when I've heard the volume up on that TV before. Was led me to believe that I was just lied to by the manager out of CONVENIENCE.

We came for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Our waiter named Donald was polite and familiar with the menu and with performing his job. He pointed out that we would save money by getting a 2 for $27 deal. He was right and provided great service also...to include refilling my wife's water after the meal. Thank you Donald. We've eaten at this Applebys for years and the service and the food quality has always been hit and miss. But last night was a hit both with the service and the food.

It's a typically good Applebee's. It's tough to go wrong there. Burgers are Bomb, and the chips with salsa excellent.

My friend and I visited Applebee's for girl's night dinner. While the waitress was distracted and not as attentive as usual, they food was excellent. I had the Whisky Bacon Burger for the first time. I ate all of it! Yes, I will be back again soon.

Greeted promptly upon entry and seated directly as well. Waiter quickly took our drink order and food order within minutes. Food came out super quick and caught us by surprise. Very Fast! Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Waiter was very attentive to our needs and we were in and out in a matter of no time during the dinner time session even with being short staffed out on the dinning floor. Impressive!!!

Stopped by for happy hour appetizers. I love the chicken wonton tacos. We sat at the booth by the window. The restaraunts layout is different from our usual location in Watsonville. I like that its open and the bar is in the center. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. Love the celery. We always order it on the side.

I use my credit card points to buy Applebee's gift cards and I love their salmon plate. So when I'm in the road, I see Applebee's and I say, "Hey, I'm home!" Great place for dinner. We were passing through and stopped by for dinner. The service was fast. We sat at the last booth available and our food orders came out under 10 minutes. We ordered a chicken bowl and rib plate. Both tasted great. You can use the ordering tablet on the table or go the old fashion way with the water or waitress.

I haven’t been here in a few years but to my surprise it was a good experience. We went around 1 and was expecting a lunch rush but to our surprise we went in and were seating within minutes. The hostess and waitress we interacted with today were amazing. Our food came out hot and I was glad to be able to get a cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap! All my son wanted was yogurt and strawberries.

Overall it's good. Can be packed sometimes and have to get on a long waitlist. Like the car-side to go option for lunch.

So I like the food,service and atmosphere but While I waited for my food, I spotted something firm in my mashed potatoes. The supervisor then returned it to the kitchen and informed me that it was one of the houses and that the next time I returned, I should call for the manager and it would be free.

Great place to go and occasionally have dinner and or an alcoholic beverage. One complaint, it's probably an isolated case. Usually, I pay through the card devices placed on your table to satisfy the bill and any tip you might want to leave. Well, the other day I went into the take-out counter, placed my order which I received it about 15 minutes later. Ten minutes later I was home ready to eat and came to find out that my meal was cold. I asked my wife if the meal seemed cold to her. She replied that it was not warm like that meal we ordered just a few days before. The only difference is, when I paid the bill, I didn't accept the tip percentage of 18% percent. I changed it to 10 percent since this was an order to go. A few days prior, I had paid the 18% because I didn't realize the payment device had included 18% in the bill. The food that day was hot and delicious, and we enjoyed it greatly.

changed rating slightly. Went during what seemed like a slow time and while it's not a huge deal my wife and my meals were missing a simple ingredient that we were expecting, cheese. Waitress didn't tell us they were out of cheese, so we were a little bummed when there wasn't cheese on the meal. Also, the milkshake for my wife and the smoothie for our little one took a long time to make and bring out. Again, it wasn't that busy and was a Monday evening. And men's restroom door was missing the handle on the inside so you could get out. Almost got stuck in there with strangers for a while.

The 1st thing I notice when my husband, son, and I, came in is that everything is clean. We came in at about 1:30 p.m., and all the tables had been bussed from the lunch hour rush. Service was quick and we were seated immediately. Also we got our menus and drink orders right away. I tried the raspberry Ice tea; it was very good. When our food came it was hot, everything seemed fresh, and nothing,apparently, had been left sitting round, to get cold. Our desserts were, likewise, delicious, and all shared around. The décor is pleasant, personal is helpful and cheerful, handicap availability for the bathroom and parking is there, and seating is available for large groups.

It's an Applebee's along many other in the states. We waited for a while to be served both our food and drinks and I am really not a huge fan of the atmosphere in this one.

Love the atmosphere. Love the service. But the dish that me and my wife ordered (chicken cheese ranch) was horrible in my opinion. I did not like anything on that plate except for the chicken itself. Even our cheese sticks were not cooked to order. They were stiff and not creamy and hot like they should have been.

The restaurant itself and its food is between average and above average. 99% of the time service is good and food is fair for a chain restaurant. Usually get the main dishes like bourbom street chicken and shrimp, steak or salmon. Appetizers are usually good. This last time tried something different and wish I didnt. Boneless buffalo nuggets* came out as small hard pieces, some being unedible. I dont recommend the prime rib dipper. Just tasted like an overcooked and salty philly cheesesteak with american cheese. The Au jus was... okay.

Seems every time i go, my order is wrong in one way or another and it takes a very long time to get our orders. However the waiters are always kind and let us know of delays. We often then not get some orders either too dry or overcooked, but we never return it and choose to eat our food. It's a good spot to enjoy some time with friends as we eat.

Came in on 12/8/19 for a birthday dinner for my daughter. Our waitress Claudia C was not a very pleasant experience. She was irritated from the moment we sat down. She didn’t greet us and when we asked her a question she was frustrated answering and very impatient while my kids were deciding on their dishes. After a while she came back to take our order, we ordered 2 meals of the 2 for $27 and 1 order of the 2 for $22, another order of a $9.99 plate. We had a toddler with us which she didn’t even bother to ask if we would like anything to order for him from the kids menu so we just let it be and decided when she comes back we will add his order... well she never came back! She didn’t deliver us the food NOR did she even come back to refill our drinks at all!! Not even once! The pasta was a cold/warm and barely any sauce so it was a dry pasta. Had to send those back for more sauce and definitely HOT. The waitress NEVER put in my other child’s $9.99 meal. So while everyone was already eating I asked 3 different people where my daughters food is at because everyone else was eating except for her! Well FINALLY Claudia came back and ask about the situation and I told her she never put in my daughters food. She went over the check with us MISSING my daughters food and which I told her specifically I ordered her food before mine so it should have definitely been noted. I also told her she never even bothered to come and see if we needed anything or even a simple refill... her answer was “I HAVE OTHER TABLES”!! Yeah no kidding BUT that’s your job! You go around making sure ALL YOUR TABLES ARE SATISFIED!! I was beyond upset from her response so I spoke to the manager I forgot her name by the way but this woman was AMAZING!!!!! She on the other hand was completely awesome!! No doubt she loves her job and definitely wants to make her customers happy! She was so pleasant to speak with! She handled the situation and apologized for my daughter NOT EATING nor the baby.. however we all did share our food with both of them because I’m not going to let my kids sit here watching everyone else eat. Anyhow I definitely give 5 stars for the manager she was AMAZING!!! 0 stars for the waitress.

Applebee's is losing its touch... Or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I ordered the promo special... All you can eat shrimp, ribs, and/or boneless chicken, all with bottomless fries. If you want to save money or have a big appetite, go for this, but remember, you get what you paid for. All three proteins tasted like precooked bagged frozen food you buy at Walmart or Safeway. Not knocking that food because I've bought it before and it's great for gatherings or an I-don't-feel-like-cooking choice for dinner... But for a restaurant? At least serve the Foster Farms or the Farm Rich brands precooked boneless chicken and the Sea Pac or Gordon's brand popcorn shrimp. And don't even get me started with the ribs... hard, burnt and it had way too much BBQ sauce (probably trying to hide the burnt flavor). I should have taken pictures of my food. Fries were good, coleslaw was surprisingly delicious, and the mixed drinks were not strong, but well mixed. But honestly, I should have gotten something else. Maybe my rating would be a star better... MAYBE. Service was OK, however, the place looked like it was short staffed and the server was a nice guy (though he acted like a typical 19 year old Gen Z'er whom you have to be very specific in your order/request or they will mess up, which he did twice. His response, in a nice way... I wasn't specific), so I'm rating it average. The guy only checked on us for refills like every 20-30 min, but again, they looked short-staffed, so I understood. The wait time wasn't awful (40 minutes on a Friday), but two families before me complained because they had been waiting almost an hour and still had not been seated... Which I understood their frustration when you see a handful of available tables; but me seeing the greeter also delivering food to the tables made it clear from the beginning that, well, you know. And the parking was not fun with Wingstop next to Applebee's. That place was packed, too (and way better boneless chicken than Applebee's, that's for sure). In the end it wasn't that bad. Staff was friendly, drinks were good, and spending time with my siblings was priceless. Even with our busy lives we made time for one another (except for one, but he's living with a controlling woman who uses his son against him, but that's another story); quality time that overshadowed everything else. Love my siblings, but next time I'll pick the restaurant.

Food and service was good as expected. Jacqueline was wonderful. Sat at the bar got to hear them washing dishes in the back also which I don’t understand why people come inside a restaurant and decide to put their phone on speaker so everybody at the table can hear the conversation, what is the manager doing? I saw him standing around. Maybe he was in the back, washing the dishes because he doesn’t have enough help? Is he making sure that his customers are happy. I think not it’s just a job. I understand if you don’t take pride in your job why are you there? And I’m hard of hearing.

Smaller portions than other location we have been to. Chicken Fettuccine was extremely dry. Like a T.V. dinner.

I've been here so many times and always hoping for the best. Lately it hasn't been that great and I leave wishing i had gone somewhere else. Sometimes food and service is amazing which brings me back to try again, it's honestly a toss up on how it's gonna be.

Well to start off......we have been here a few times because we live close by...and every time we go, i hope for better service. I understand that maybe they are under staffed , but thats not the customers problem. We should not be waiting for a table to be seated, when i see 15 to 20 empty tables. Food was good, but i am seating at a table a distance away from the bar....and I had to ask to have the TV channel changed from the news to the football game. Come on, what type of restaurant has the local news playing when there are sports on TV.

Went to try the all you can eat ribletes meal on a slow Tuesday night @7:30. Our server was not attentive to the 3 tables he was responsible for. After delivering our meal, he never came buy to check on our meal or if we needed anything. I flagged him down for soda refills and a 2nd plate of boneless wings for my dinner. We never received the extra napkins we asked for. I felt sorry for the group of 12 that showed up as we left. We will not be back because of the service and the quality of my meal, which was subpar. My wife's burger was good, that's why the higher food mark.

I took a buddy who had never been there before and bragged about the riblet and french fry lunch and it was super disappointing the portion sizes were ridiculous there was about 10 french fries on each one of our plates we were able to finish it within a couple of minutes and the artichoke dip had more cheese than artichoke dip and someone should never ask you if you want water when they see your water empty they should just fill it up however they were very nice and the barbecue sauce is always on point other than that it was funny how the manager handed us the two plates and seeing how they looked like they were for a toddlers and with a look of disbelief on my face he didn't seem to see a problem with it so crazy said two meals for 26 but it didn't say they were the Junior size kids meals

Food was fine. MY EXPERIENCE WAS SUPER ANNOYING AND UNPROFESSIONAL. A customer brought in his own portable speaker to the bar and played his own music while the bar restaurant music was playing. I asked him to turn it off. He yelled that "he knew his rights." I asked the bartender about it and she says he come in and does it all the time. What The Heck. Apparently that's a normal thing and common respect for the people around you isn't a thing lol. I'm a bartender and I would never allow that at my bar. Especially if a patron mention it to me. Good work Kiana, the bartender, setting new expectations.

Last 2x have been wack. Wont be here again. I ended having a bug on my wine glass & i asked for another one, guy charge me for the one he took back. Clean ur place so u dnt have bugs. I didnt make a fuss bc i was there w family. 2x, I had to ask for proper receipt 2x. Why? Its part of your job. Other comments have said similar things so its shady. Wnt be back.

PLEASE get rid of the self ordering machines! Picked out my order and the waitress came up to us, didn’t care that I was about to send my order and said “I’ll take it.” As she was reading the device, I just told her what I ordered instead. The devices are supposed to make things more convenient; however, if we can’t use them to send our order, then what’s the point??

Our waitress, Xitlalli, was horrible, we saw her a total of 4 times. We sat for almost 20 minutes before anyone even got our drink order. Then our food came before our bar drinks, which we saw sat made waiting. The manager was lackluster when we asked to speak to her, she acted like she would rather be anywhere but where she was handling customer issues. The only person who did anything all and was amazing was Kevin. I honestly wish I had cash because I would have given him a huge cash tip for going above and beyond his position.

Ordered to pick up at curbside. Sat there 20 minutes then had to call the resteraunt and all they could say is the screen is broke. Well fix it or better yet have someone watching the pick up spots and go out to the cars and ask who they are picking up for. Our food was cold by the time we got it too!

Waited over an hour to get our food. Food was underwhelming. Our entire order tasted old/ reheated and lacked flavor. The beverages were extremely limited. The waiter had to return twice because certain beverages were not available. The only decent part was the fries.

Drinks and appetizers are okay, pretty standard. Service is a bit slow. I usually come and watch games in the bar section and am not in a hurry so it doesn't bother me much. Sundays are all day happy hour. Whenever I have dined in the restaurant area, the service seems extraa slow. I don't expect too much when I come here - a decent beer, standard appetizers, and am not in a rush.

Food is always good here, but absolutely horrendous Carside To Go service. I always end up waiting anywhere from 20 minutes to a whole hour past the given pick-up time. I once arrived half an hour AFTER the pick-up time, thinking surely the single item I ordered (an appetizer) would be ready by then, and then was still made to wait half an hour more. On a slow mid-week afternoon. I had to call back TWICE after the initial call to check in again and make sure I hadn't been forgotten. I could maybe understand if it was extremely busy and they were very understaffed, but that was obviously not the case. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.

Server never came back to ask how anything was, had to ask another server for drink refills. Manager was just walking around never asked us how anything was, if food was good, nothing. Did not see him ask anyone that was there eating there and restaurant was not busy. Middle of the afternoon on a Friday. (My food was good, only thing that was) This is the second time that we had this issue, where we felt ignored. Two times in a row and I regret giving them a second chance. I wish we had gone to the Applebees in Gilroy—always good service there. I wish that they paid attention to customers and I would have given a better tip and better review. No, we won’t be back because I doubt anything will change, not getting a third chance.

Ordered three cheese chicken penne, through door dash. Food was cold and sauce was completely runny like water. Food was not concealed properly, either. Door dash asked me for a review on restaurant which I gave and said the exact same thing, I’m saying now. And within a few min, I get an email from door dash saying they’re not going to be posting my review because it didn’t meet with their guidelines. So decided to come on here and give my review.

It’s 8-11-24 and im sitting in the back corner at 07:22pm. Hyde my waitress brought me water then disappeared. I order bottomless shrimp and my girl ordered bottomless wings The old couple who came in after us have been served. But “the kitchen is catching up” when it comes to our order when Hyde finally came back. 45 minutes with no food but the kitchen has to catch up for us. Idiotic Horrible.

Was going to have lunch here, but someone came in after us and they were seated before us in a booth that we had requested and after waiting for an extremely long time we still had not been acknowledged after being seated. My elderly mother was not able to easily get on the stool and almost became injured due to having to climb up on a high stool that was unsafe for a senior. The restaurant was not even half full. We walked out, still unacknowledged. This is beyond ridiculous for a Saturday afternoon.

1 star because I'm forced to. We're given a dirty table with food on the seats. We never got help. I got up to ask the mgr for help. He took our order. The order was served quickly, yet barely warm. We asked for our bill & immediately took out our card to pay. The server never returned. I had to get up and ask the mgr to take our payment. They have certainly lost our business.

Horrible service. Our server was not very kind. Completely ignored us it confused us because she was very nice to the other tables. I wasn't able to catch her name as she never introduced herself but rudely asked what we wanted instead. She served us the wrong drink and seemed annoyed when we pointed it out and after this she proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the night and we couldn’t get her attention as she was too busy talking to her other table.

Really bad service here!! This is the second time that i order curbside pick up and i have to go inside to pick up my order! Plus they make me wait another 30min because the order is not ready, All the employees look so unhappy so upset so mad working! I was ignored by 2 employees they just kept saying i will check but never came back to let me know anything until i had to ask again after 30min they the guy that was there gave me this attitude and went back and grabbed my order like dam really??! Why they have curbside pick up if they have you go inside plus they ignore you give you attitude and have you wait 30-45min more! So ridiculous! And to top it off they didn't give me any utensils no napkins no anything like i guess they said use your fingers as fork & spoon! Sheeesh! Management seriously needs too get on their feet about the service its so pathetic.. do not waste your money or time here.

We ordered immediately and they brought out both my wife and I's food then said our 3 year old pizza is coming soon. 40 minutes later no pizza. Then as we're about to leave they bring the pizza and no sides with no reason other than "they didn't put the sides out and we took it off your bill". Absolutely insane.

I was at the bar and ended up ordering my meal online for pick up. 30 min later walked over and went back to the bar to eat. I had half of it gone before the bartender even noticed. I think she wad taking shots with two other women. I walked to a table in the bar area and got my condiments. Finished my meal and found a waitress in the front so I could pay. What a mess. This was Tuesday August 26th at 7 pm.

The waitress apparently never put in my order. We waited 15-20 minutes and she brought only my husband's dinner. I sat watching him eat until he was almost finished then finally got her attention to ask when mine was coming. She looked very surprised at my question but replied "I'll check on it". When she finally returned it was not what I ordered (or wanted) but the same dinner my husband had ordered and just finished. I sent it back and left hungry and grumpy!

I came to Applebee’s at 11 PM after an event, expecting to grab a quick meal since the restaurant closes at 12 AM. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. No one greeted us when we walked in. We waited about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated. Instead of a server helping us, the kitchen manager eventually came out and told us the kitchen was already closed even though the restaurant’s posted closing time is midnight. I completely understand that staff want to go home on time, but if your hours say you close at 12, customers should reasonably expect to be served until then. That’s not the customer’s responsibility to manage. To make matters worse, several servers were standing around on their phones and chatting instead of assisting guests. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience. If the kitchen closes earlier than the dining room, that should be clearly communicated not discovered after customers have already waited.

Ok I hate to be one of complain first off I come here quite often with my family and this is a favorite place of ours but this last time I came my sister got 2 gnat flies in both of her drinks. And when we brought it to the server’s attention she kindly got her a new one and apologized for the circumstances then I get Serves a 3 drink with some other type of debris in it. And not once did a manager come to our table and apologized nor offer to comp anything that is unacceptable. I can eat flies for free no need to pay for them.

I love Applebees restaurant but the service is bad in Salina’s ca. On my last visit, the waitress only took our food order and we didn't see her again until we finished eating. We had to ask other people for what we needed. The girl who brought our appetizer... we asked for my husband's beer and ranch dressing, and she never brought the ranch. I ordered my sirloin medium well and they brought it extra well. My side salad arrived after the food.we didn’t have silverware or napkins :(

Service has always been great no problems there, they will help you as much as they can. The problem is if you order steak it's burnt to a crisp, order a burger, burnt to a crisp, the bar tenders don't know how to make anything if it's not on their list of drinks, even when the drink specials they put on the table show that you pour your own, they still told me I was wrong even with pictures on their menu showing pouring cocktails. It's nice the owner responds to everyone but the only positive is the service, I've tried about 10 times to like this place but I can't...to the "owner" come visit me Mon-Fri, 2-10 PM at Santa Cruz Market 19 E romie Ln.

I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. I ordered a simple salad with no tomatoes on their website, however my salad had so many diced tomatoes when I picked it up. The salad had 5 things and I asked for it without one of those. And I received more than a normal amount for a small salad. Good thing I just absolutely hate tomatoes and I'm not allergic. And this is what I managed to remove from the salad and I didn't get even close to getting rid of it all. When I submitted feedback that they emailed me, I said the same thing. The manager (?) asked me if there was something they could do to make it right and I requested a refund, to which that went ignored.
