Bit of a trip down memory lane. My wife and I went there when it was known as "Holly's" back in 1988/89 when we were dating. A nice, casual place to stop in any time you're in the area. We're going to go back and check out the $10 steak and loaded potato on Monday evenings SOON. 👍👍👍

Awesome bar, a lot of regulars go there so it's almost like Cheers. Great service, large selection of beer and full bar. Pool tables, darts, outside activities, and sometimes live music and karaoke.

Carrie is the best bartender that has serve me in a long time. The place is cozy and lively at the same time. Defiantly recommend this to anyone that likes to be comfortable and have fun.

Got stranded here in Leon Springs for three days when the F-550 decided to eat its own fuel filter. The Silver Fox made those three days of bouncing between the La Quinta and the mechanic a life saver. Great service, great people, great prices. 5/5 stars, would get stranded here again.

The outdoor seating is really a plus. The prices were acceptable although I would have liked for them to have a larger beer selection.

Such a fun time for chilling with friends, dancing, and playing bar games (pool, shuffleboard, darts)! My close friends live nearby, so it's been a super convenient and relaxed place to hang out. All of the employees are nice and the DJs have been very entertaining! We will definitely continue returning.

Great management, friendly staff, and events you do not want to miss. Specifically the annual Crawfish boil in April is amazing! There are other planned events, such as the weekly Monday steak night. Do yourself a favor and go, it's absolutely worth it!

Always a great place. The bartenders know what you drink after one visit. Especially Coley, Christine, Carrie, Kelly, Niki. Regulars make you feel welcomed And owner Jeff does so much for his customers; pig roast, customer appreciation day, free food on weekends during football season. Glad we stopped In.

Visited during a little weekend get-away. Great little place with a Roadhouse feel. We wanted a snack, and our server said she's the best in the world at making toaster pizzas. We went with that, and damned if she wasn't right! An excellent pizza to go with our drinks. Will definitely stop in again the next time we're in the area.

I'm one of those obnoxious people who asks for a fruity surprise...she had so many options. And she makes the best Michelina I have ever had. Music was great. Nice outdoor area. Good natured crowd usually, friendly bartenders, outdoor patio for smokers with games to play. Also has some pool tables and darts for entertainment as well as live entertainment on the weekends usually. Above all the drinks are reasonably priced. *Bexar County Sheriff's are beginning to stake out for dwi entrapment I've noticed them taking good a liking to the area since the reopening of the place and population growing out this way. Beware of the c*** s*ckers looking to f**k up your life. BCSD and soon SAPD will be joining the repressive torment of the citizens. Drink responsibly and don't venture into the neighborhood bordering the fox.

Small place to stop in, have a drink and relax. Full of regulars and everyone was nice. Staff was quick to check on us. Outside bar opened up around 930 or 10? Music shortly thereafter. Outside patio filled up pretty quickly once that happened. Just people hanging out, having drinks, dancing, playing darts and corn hole. Enjoyed the evening!

Just a nice dive bar with good beer and environment. Bartenders are nice and they have a nice outdoor patio area with lights and lots of seating. They do occasional food nights for good prices. The parking situation is not the best.

Walked here from a hotel down the road, and it was exactly what we needed before continuing our road trip the next day. Just the perfect local dive. We seemed to be the only ones who weren't regulars on this Tuesday night. A bit limited on the draft beer options, but plenty to get you through the night. If you're in the area and looking for a beer, I recommend it for sure.

It's the standard neighborhood bar. To be fair, we went on an off night. If it were in my area, I'd hit it up again and give it another shot.

Went karaoke night and the crowd was very loud during singers. Definitely an area bar with the "usual area click"....but again the crowd was very loud and not listening to the singers unless it was one of their friends, you could barely hear your name being called to come up and sing......not going back.

This bar is a good/classic neighborhood bar. On the weekends they have a dj who pumps up the crowd. They have a good selection of beer and spirits. Their staff is friendly and moderately quick. My only qualm is that the place can probably use a makeover.

Decent beer selection (although they were out of the Blood & Honey when I ordered it). Our first trip here (from Kerrville) was more enjoyable, although the first Shiner i received thst night wasn't the one i ordered. We came for the band. Whoever had the remote for the jukebox, almost made us leave during the band break. Definitely going to think twice, next "first Friday"! ETA: the women behind the bar were too busy, and the guys who work here are useless.

Extremely slow service at the outdoor bar. We stood and waited to be served for more than 20 minutes. It was not excessively crowded or chaotic by any means, she just wasn't able to keep up. We put a $20 down as payment for 2 shots of well tequila, and she picked it up as if it wasn't enough, then put it back on the bar and told us not to worry about it, that drinks were on her. My partner was quite offended by the gesture, he felt that she was assuming he was unable to afford to pay whatever the total was based on his appearance or something. I think that he was probably being a bit overly sensitive, but it was a weird exchange nonetheless.

I used to be a regular here but since I move to the opposite side of town I haven't been frequency in this place as much. Two really nice hole in the wall type of environment but you could always count on good bartenders and a well-maintained place. I wish I could say the same about my last message but that's not the case the place was extremely dirty and the entertainment specifically the shuffleboard table did not have the adequate accessories to enjoy it. Quite disappointing since I remember this place very vividly in my mind as a place that had quality top of mind and Staffing now it has become what other Dives tense of become before they dive deep into failure

For a dive bar I've never spent so much money on a draft beer as I did in this hole in the wall. $6.50 for a draft beer is ridiculous and they don't offer any pitcher beer specials. Greed got the better part of the owner of this establishment.

READ. I just heard about my friend’s experience at this bar. Very disappointed but not surprised racial profiling & racism exists. The bouncer seems to be a common factor through these reviews, he was blatantly ignoring my friend’s boyfriend, not serving them or helping them out at all! On top of that he has the audacity to answer “si” to a question he asked…? DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS PLACE! Shame on the owners who allow this behavior from their employees.

I (f) was hit on by one of the bartenders older yt regulars (m), who's speaking cursive by the time I even arrive to the bar- I see the bartender take at least 6 shots with him and her other regulars, meanwhile I've had 3 of the same watered down vodkas and she decided to cut me off bc the her older regular didn't like that I was ignoring him? Or talking to a man on my phone? Or because??? Then she has the audacity to speak cursive to me- cross eyed- saying "dRiKtHis" while handing me a water? Like what ? Are you for real? You know I personally can hold my liquor so I've never blown chunks before but this made me want to out of sheer disgust.

So disappointed! Yesterday we had gone for the first time to this bar since we live close by and we were excited they had such a cute decorations for Halloween , the bartenders were very nice . The live band was great they even let my friend sing a part of a song. UNTIL …. So the Bouncer by the name of Chris I think . Tall white guy he told me to stop recording when I was just on a live on TikTok since I’m an influencer and was letting my followers know of the Great Spot we found near our home . I had not done nothing to the bouncer he told me like twice I was just minding my business . So we are on our 2n beer going on our 3rd one and we were at the bar and suddenly this drunk lady came and Shoved us from the bar she was a bit aggressive so I told we weren’t moving since we are standing there ordering drinks . So she pushed us out of the way and sat down and she used her chair to block us . The sad part was that she waved the bouncer over when he got there she pointed to us . And he turn around and said you 3 are out of here no words were exchange from anybody . To me I felt discriminated against us by the bouncer since all 3 of us are Latinos … Great place and could have seen us as our new hangout spot , but the bouncer was such racist😔 Note : by the way we had just bought our 3rd beer and couldn’t finish it

Staff is incredibly rude at this location. Never been here before and bouncer asked to check my daughter’s ID after i already found my group rudely. I had no prior knowledge that this was a 21+ facility and immediately were willing to go but did not need this rude encounter. Will not be going back to a place that has such employees with a rude attitude.
