Great place to bring your kids and also let loose and have a drink ! Clean restrooms, live music (: Im glad pink patio had made it possible for families to enjoy a great time in an outside /night environment and still be able to have children in a safe in reach surroundings.

Went on a Wednesday early evening. Great drink specials. Very large outdoor area that ensures effective social distancing. Wasn't very busy so not sure how hectic it gets but overall great experience. Lots of TVs to watch your favorite sports team. Food truck available outside hit the spot

Great drinks and love the atmosphere. The hookah vendor was nice and catered to our needs. The only thing my group and I wanted was the food trucks to be open to enjoy some snacks with out drinks. Nevertheless, it was still a great time.

Andres (Andy) was very polite to my friend and I! We arrived in San Antonio with no plans for the evening. A local told us about this spot! So we decided to try it out! When we arrived we were stunned to see the long line. Not knowing we walked up and he took very good care of us. We waited a bit for entry. But must say I was very pleased with the environment during this pandemic. He made us feel very welcomed. And due to people like him I would return. Wait staff as well were on key with drinks. The music was amazing enjoyed my visit! Thank you Andres for giving us the opportunity to party with San Antonio!!

This place was amazing. First time there. We were blown away by the DJ & the music he played. We attended our friends party there. The waitress we had in the private section was great. She kept everyone drinks full. I can honestly say we have found a new place to hang out. Will definitely be coming back

Definitely a fun spot to meet up with friends and knock back some drinks. The night I went they had a DJ who kept the party going well into the night. Super chill and they had cops posted in the front so although a relaxed environment, it also felt safe too!

I went with a group of friends on a Tuesday to catch a show we were invited to, we had so much fun!! The show host had everyone laughing and having a great time. The service was great and afterwards we enjoyed the dj making us dance. We'll bring friends out again and enjoy Social Spot!

When the weather is nice this place is cool. When it’s cold they need more outdoor heaters. They have a good taco truck in the front that also sells corn in a cup, not all of them do. The little bucket drinks are really good but they will get you drunk fast so drink slow lol

Saturday hot spot...the DJ definitely makes the mood a hot spot, plays every genre and time which made the vibes. Taco truck in the parking lot has amazing food. We were able to buy a bottle a bottle at midnight and get a table reserved, the hostess service does need improvement but its to be expected when you have a swarm of people trying to order.

Okay so I ment to write this review sooner but I have to say this is a awesome place to have a social gather. Great environment, music, drink prices, and friendly staff. The staff has such positive energy and enthusiasm. It's been around 8-9 months when I came last, until this past weekend. Didnt see the little barback with curly hair. He has great energy, fast hard worker, funny, and polite. That's my review and I hope it helps for a great night out.

Area is nice and set up great. My mom's graduation party was here in the VIP. Music was awesome, love it. Never played a bad song or messed up the mood. Only the food wasn't good and our waitress was always gone. When I was a waitress serving VIP our tables were never allowed to ask where we were. She needed a better presence.

everyone sits outside...and it was awesome! Atmosphere was great. Bartenders were attentive and it's a very Chill Vibe. There's no food, but come after you leave a restaurant and you won't be disappointed. There was no drama and it's doggy friendly. FYI* All the bathrooms are unisex 😉

This is an outdoor bar. They serve hookah and have a full bar. Cool spot with large jenga, connect 4, and beer pong. They also had an awesome DJ. Definitely recommend coming once the sun goes down.

The taco truck here is amazing. California style tacos! Spicy. The people working are really nice. The drinks are fine but the lines are long.

Cravorites food truck is parked here and the food is a must try! This summer they also have another truck on the lot that’s doing hookah’s! This place looks small from the outside but don’t let that fool you! They have four bars, but on crowded days they’ll need to add more bathrooms, the two bathroom options had long lines.

This place is like the back yard i never had. I love it. Its relaxing and they have good prices. I can bring the kids to play games and enjoy there playground. They had a food truck there which was awsome. Good drinks and service. I recommend this play to all looking to relax and have a good time.

Big venue, solid security, good music, sleazy bartenders. Everything about this place is great accept for the bartenders. I would choose this spot over most in SA. But both bartenders were slow and weren't attentive. One came to my table OUTSIDE and accused me of ordering drinks I hadn't because my shirt color/style was similar to someone else's who had. That incident was the most unprofessional bartending experience that I've ever had.

Atmosphere is great. Music never stops. Prices are okay for the drinks, I feel a little too Hugh. Don't recommend purchasing a VIP spot doesn't feel so VIP.

The social spot is nice. It has a small place to be inside but its mainly a spot where you are outside. Its kid friendly until about 9p.m. So you can chill while the children play. They also have several games the adults can play. Music is okay. They played a variety of songs. I loved the micheladas. I would recommend to try thia spot out.

Very young staff with better-than-mediocre customer service. Diligent security company working here, selective on who they wand for weapons (i wasn't searched, but a friend was). Drink prices are reasonable and mixed with a lighter hand than you'd expect for a bar. Atmosphere is more notable than other outdoor bars. Overall a wonderful spot for Sunday fundays

The place is one of the better outdoor bar/clubs I've been to. It can get really busy on the weekends but they seem to have enough seating for large crowds. The dj they have is normally hip hop so know that before you go. They have a dance floor and a stage but I haven't seen a band or group perform there. Also there are security pat downs at the door. Get there early cause parking can be a challenge

I have been to the Social Spot a handful of times and I have experienced the day and night time crowd. My recent experience was on 3/16/19 around 2:30 pm. I actually love this place. Their beer prices are fair and The Ivy Bags are pretty good also. I may stick with the Vodka version instead of the rum. The customer service here is really good also as their bartenders are nice and friendly. One recommendation I would have for night time is to put a bar station with beer only outside to prevent long lines inside. Inside bar isn't very large and has an awkward layout a little bit when trying to order drinks. My favorite part about this place is that it is pet and kid friendly here until 9:30pm. There is also enough space and games if you are with a party of people outside to hang out. Kids playground area is decent as well; I would just take a look around there every once in a while. My kid was playing with a sharp metal bracket she found in the rocks on 3/15/19 and I'm glad I caught it. It looked old and rusted like it came from a part. One more recommendation is to put a light somewhere near the men's porta potty for night time and check to replace soap dispenser. There never is any soap. Other than that, I love this place and I will continue to come back.

Love this spot for a casual Friday night hang out. The play a good mix of everything and included a lot of old school jams. Taking off one star because the dj's friend likes to take the mic and talk through the songs. We just want to hear the music 🎶

$$ Good vibe for weekends, the prices are fair, they at least offer options in terms of how much you willing to spend...at least for the beers. It's mainly an outdoor venue so be prepared to dress accordingly, for cold nights they have a few heat lamps. Great DJ's and music every time I've been. The parking is dicey but not so bad that it's a headache. There are no restrooms for men just port-a-potties...just a heads up. For the ladies there are 2 inside restrooms but for a busy night expect a line. Outside food can be brought in so that's a plus, they also usually have a food truck but obviously the choices are limited. Pets are allowed and kids on weekend until 9 I believe but no one tells them to leave from what I seen...which is not a plus. Overall a great spot to go in S.A.

Look, I am gunna be brutally honest here: I had a great time the few times I was at the social spot. Drinks are standard, in selection and pricing, and the fact that everything is outside and the people are packed leave for good social vibes and good opportunities to meet people. That being said, they let just about anyone in and as a result there seems to be a ton of belligerent people who act up and cause issues. That's the only reason I am dropping a star. Be careful going here, otherwise it's really fun as hell.

First time there and it was awesome. Reasonable drink prices and the atmosphere was great. A great place to hangout and chill. They had a DJ playing some good music. All in all a great night, planning to go back soon.

This is a perfect meeting spot! The DJ keeps the music going and gets everyone dancing. I would have given 5 stars but the inside bar tender was ignoring us and alot of people that were there before the others. And they should have all beers available outside.

I can't give a truly accurate rating of the food because we have only been to one truck and I rated them on their own. But the actual little park itself is neat. It was nice that they had security at the door as well.

Saturday night. The music was pretty good. They have heaters for you outside, it's very spacious so that's good, you're not shoulder to shoulder to people. We got our drinks pretty quick the bartenders were nice. Nothing special about their drinks. Will be back!

Great surprise spot. Drinks were good and the D.J. from 2-6 was unbelievable. Gets a little hot but it's south Texas so you deal with it.

In the winter they need a few more space heaters. But cool place to hang out. Nothing fancy. It's like hanging out at a friend's backyard. They have food trucks outside. The drinks are very good and creative. I would go back. And they're reasonably priced.

This is a really chill and convenient place to hang out before one of the Fiesta parades start. They have an indoor bar, service is pretty quick and very friendly. You can hang out inside in the shade or hang outside in the spacious outdoor area and enjoy live music. The night I was there, Charlie Bravo was playing. The band was awesome and the sound was good. Charlie Bravo does mainly 80's metal and hair metal rock. It was so much fun. Plenty of tables and seating outside with umbrellas covering the tables. Fun, fun, fun if you are trying to kill time before the parade starts. No cover to get it like some places do during Fiesta. I'm going to try this place out after Fiesta is over - it really seems like a good crowd and a fun place to hang out.

It seems like a great place to hangout. Drinks and games. However they almost didn't accept my Pennsylvania ID. From what I understand they didn't think it was real. When I took my TABC they gave examples of different IDs so I don't get why they almost didn't serve me. But besides that issue I would recommend this spot to others, however I most likely won't return.

You can never go wrong with this place...it's outdoor, the DJ plays a variety of music BUT staff is not friendly and can sometimes act like they're being inconvenienced...That is something they need improvement on. If you don't like your job and you aren't good at customer service, then time to look elsewhere.

Came here from out of town and wanted to check out the scene in San Antonio. Bartenders were rude and weren't very helpful with their "non-drink menu" when I asked about the Micheladas, I was told "Oh, its just a drink with tons of stuff in it" in other words she didn't feel like making me one. It's almost as though you needed to know someone to get any type of drink or meal. The jolly rancher shot was good.

I bought a vape they didn't have the box to it or anything that was supposed to come with it plus they wanted to charge me more they didn't have batteries or I wasnt rold it needed onne I was leaving the store when I noticed it and plus I asked for a receipt and didn't get it

Decent atmosphere, though security was super heavy. I like that it was outside, given the pandemic. Music was pretty good and liked how diverse the crowd was. But I probably wouldn't come here again on my own. Prefer more of a chill outside bar setting. This spot felt more like a laid back, outside club.

The owners Mom was very pleasant and very polite. This establishment is very laid back only suggestion is where the people enter into the establishment is the front entrance you constantly have to watch your step because of the dip from the sidewalk and the rail that was covered by a floor mat so you wouldn’t trip over . I saw a few people almost trip ,it’s a safety hazard because of people with walkers or wheelchairs is a problem, the rail that lays on the pavement for the gate to be closed is such an obstacle. Should use the gate by the park side to use as the entrance/exit But other than that it’s a nice place.

Kinda really ghetto. Horrible parking, kind of dirty and they shouldn't really advertise their "games" they had connect four which was great, and a super old beat up set of Jenga. But that's it. Just not cup of tea. I did enjoy the dancefloor however.

I like this place. Prompt, professional and friendly service. Ask for Brittany, shes the best. The DJ plays all the latest jams. Why the 2 star rating? The port-o-pottys that are being used as mens rooms. The smell radiates in a 20ft circumference and once inside any port-o-potty the smell triggers a dry heave. It's that bad. Go here, have fun, buy drinks.. but fellas use the bathroom before getting here, trust me.

I would like to let everyone know that if you an to go to this Bar to see a show, you better have enough cash cause this bar is very expensive. I ordered three drinks and I paid close to 40.00 for our drinks. The show was great and I enjoyed my self. But I would have enjoyed it more if I was able to drink more then two drinks, due to high prices.

This place is great, open patio, dance floor, great drink specials, etc. However the music is a bit too loud for the surrounding communities. The music volume should be kept at a level that doesn’t disrupt locals from sleeping. I hope management heavily considers this.

Place has great space and facilities, food trucks are good after a long night. Drinks were fast and well served. DJ was a mood killer, had no idea on what music to play, anytime he played decent musics and filled the dance floor, someone would pay him to play music that instantly emptied the floor. Would not recommend as a dancing spot.

My husband and I were overcharged and paid $190 for our bar tab. Mind you, we only ordered one bucket of beer a round of shots and 2 more single beers. How does that come out to $190?? A manager Oscar had called me back assuring he would help me but now I am being ignored and no returned calls or messages. This is beyond suspicious. I have seen this is happening to other customers as well. All I am requesting is an itemized copy of my receipt and now they do not want to help. Seems as if their goal is to try and get you too drunk and run up your bar tab and make you sign. I used to love coming here but this is just wrong. I will keep calling until I get my itemized receipt.

Actually one of the most deranged experiences. Expect 80 armed guards to be present inside the bar. I personally was kicked out because my shirt was unbuttoned. I watched 3 other random groups (all seemingly arab) get removed for 'stripping.' Great spot if youre a member of the cartel!

Great atmosphere. Met some good folks there, but when it comes to getting drinks...please do not use any of your bank/credit cards!!! Theres a bartender there that gives herself what ever tip she wants at YOUR expense. If there was an option for no stars, that's exactly what I'd give.

STAY AWAY!! I ordered a $3 well drink, and the server asked me for $4. When I questioned the amount, she insisted it was for tax. Clearly, 8.25% of $3 is not $1!!! When I inquired that it cannot be tax, she then informed me that they round up to the dollar and didn't provide change back. As I got the receipt, there was an additional 14 cents non-cash fee added to the total amount even though I was going to pay in cash. When I questioned the server about the charge, she couldn't answer and ask me to speak to the manager. A person by the name of Jimmy came over and seemed to be more of a bouncer than a manager. He also couldn't give me a feasible answer. I inquired if the Texas State Comptroller knew about this over charge and left the establishment. It is clear that the server was trying to get more of a tip by overcharging, but the establishment was also overcharging customers by adding a non-cash fee in all circumstances. As prior law enforcement, I will address this malfeasance to not only the State Comptroller but also TABC.

If your looking for an outdoor spot to relax and have some drinks on Saturday night, definitely not the place. Super crowded, long lines, and they charge at the door. Good luck and stay safe.

Got scammed by the bartender last night. She had the bedazzled canines I think. We ordered two mixed drinks and opened a tab. Drinks werent great so we decided to close, only to find out our tab was already closed. We asked repeatedly for a receipt so we could tip her, but we were assured that it would be fine and that she lost the ticket. Come to find out this morning, we were charged $50 for 2 drinks with no tip...pretty pissed off that we went out of our way to make sure she got paid and she did us dirty like that.

Do NOT pay with credit/debit cards here, they will rip you off if you do. And do NOT leave your tab open, get a receipt immediately after purchasing drinks. If you find that they've charged you more than expected, file a claim with your credit card company to get the charges reversed and you get your money back. DO try the food trucks out in front of this place, though. Hopefully you'll be able to hear okay from the atrocious blaring music that weak ahh DJ plays, though. 😒
