We had a cider from here at the San Diego Zoo and had to check it out and glad that we did! What a wonderful place!!! The bartender was very knowledgeable and we had amazing service the entire time. The decor and everything just fit and suited the vibe. One of the best thing is about this place is that it's DOG FRIENDLY! Met the cutest furry friends here that just added to the experience. Definitely do the cider tasting and the polenta tots was different and interesting. Seems like a great place for a meal, catch a sports game or catch up with friends or a nice place to chill while you are in between meet ups or appointments.

Food was excellent. The buns on the burgers were super fluffy and delicious. You're going to pay at least $15 a plate but it's good quality food and well prepared. It's north park so parking can be an issue.

Cider is delicious, as is the food. As a pescatarian, I really appreciate all the vegetarian options and customizations. I joined the Cider Club and it is great. The ciders and discount are awesome but the camaraderie is the best. They also have beer, wine, and cocktails, so something for everyone! (Even N/A!) The Mexican Caesar with a side of fries is the BEST light lunch or dinner. I keep coming back for it. The service is always beyond incredible. Everyone is super friendly and eager to help you find what you want.

I have been a Club Biv member for nearly all of their years in North Park. They've expanded the drinks menu, added Taco Tuesdays, and have wonderful guest chefs come take over the kitchen. The ciders are rotating, so there are almost always new flavors.

Many tasty ciders to try! I really enjoyed the San Diego Jam mixed berry cider. There’s also a great happy hour (weekdays 4-6), try the fries and the chimichurri meatballs.

Great selection of ciders, with both traditional and experimental flavors. I did prefer the more traditional ones, a testament to the quality of the fruit and to their process. Tried one food item, the chilli fries, which were delicious, crispy and well seasoned. Very friendly and helpful service too.

SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS! Dedicated fryer for gluten free French fries. Delicious Asian chicken dish. And the cider is also fantastic. For anyone who is or loves someone with celiac, this is the place to go.

Amazing Vibes & Must-Try Hummus! Bivouac in North Park is the perfect mix of cozy and cool, with lodge-inspired decor and a great vibe. The Green Goddess Hummus plate is a standout—super creamy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with warm pita and crisp veggies. It’s fresh, light, and addictive. Their cider selection is just as impressive, with something for everyone—from dry and crisp to bold and fruity. The staff is friendly, the space is dog-friendly, and the whole experience feels like a little escape. Don’t miss it—and definitely don’t skip the hummus!

There is no better spot for Cider in North Park (if not the WORLD) than Bivouac. A cozy campout aesthetic ran by the CiderQueen of SD herself, and a warm and hospitable staff to boot! The food and cider options are immense, with a delightful rotation of ciders to keep things adventurous! I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again - if I could give Biv a SIX out of Five, I would!

Such a great and unique atmosphere. It was like an elevated/gourmet food & drink court with an adorable shop and bar nextdoor. Woman owned who supports other small San Diego and women owned businesses. The food was delicious, the cider (i am not a cider fan but tried it) was light, refreshing and delicious and their old fashioned was spectacular. The bathrooms were unique, along with the amazing art on the walls. Next time in North Park, stop in. You will not be disappointed. Bonus, super dog friendly in there!!!

This is a really solid happy hour spot in the neighborhood! If you’re looking to stay gluten-free or are hanging with somebody who is GF, I’d recommend Bivouac. The space is really cool; feels like a camping lodge! Lots of warm wood, climbing ropes, etc. The meatballs and polenta bites were flavorful, delicious, reasonably priced and portioned, & had strong sauce/dip-pairings. Service was okay. Not super attentive, and the flight took over 10 minutes to come out, which was weird, since the place wasn’t that busy. They ignored us a bit once some influencers showed up, meh. Watch out for the pricing on the cider flights! (Meaning, there IS no listed price… think it was like $18 each? For 3 tasters.) The hummus/crudites appetizer is underwhelming, as the veggies could be cut less coarsely, and the hummus was disarmingly minty (and not enough for all the dipping objects).

What an incredible spot. Very good ciders, even if you aren’t normally a cider drinker. The staff were super friendly and the space is beautiful. Great happy hour, and the food looked very good even though we just had a quick snack. A must-visit!

Local favorite! My fiancée and I have been coming to Bivouac Ciderworks for years. We are not big beer drinkers and prefer a cocktail when we go out but we have a soft spot for ciders. Bivouac has some of the best local ciders around with a flavor for everyone. The ambiance is modern and comfortable and the place is pet friendly so be sure to bring your fur baby.

Hey, so I came here for RD day to celebrate with Dietitians! The appetizers available were great! I especially loved the various dips and foods to be dipped! Pretty certain I was classy with a Marlin Spike, which is a refreshing pineapple pear cider! I would love to return under different circumstances to try the cider flight!

Bivouac is so good! I came with a friend for a Yelp event actually, and we loved the berry cider samples they gave us. We followed that up with a flight of ciders to sip and share, and ordered some buffalo cauliflower as well. Yum!!! Service was great, the space was modern and trendy but warm, and it was nice to meet some cute pups out on the patio. Their ciders are not too sweet or hard- they're refreshing and thoughtfully crafted. They have some nice happy hour deals, and a monthly membership program too.

Bivouac Ciderworks is an extraordinary establishment, a true haven for cider enthusiasts. They also offer a curated selection of local beers alongside their inventive cocktail creations. The team here, including Sam, William, Carmen, Josh, and, notably, Devon, epitomizes exceptional service and hospitality. Another Sam, working their culinary magic in the kitchen, adds to the warm atmosphere. Upon entering, you’re embraced by an inviting ambiance adorned with natural elements, warm lighting, and climbing rope details. Whether you arrive with friends or family, pets, the atmosphere sets the stage for a truly memorable dining experience. Now, let’s delve into the culinary delights. Bivouac Ciderworks boasts a menu that’s nothing short of a culinary tastiness. It’s no wonder I’m a regular here (I highly recommend the campfire old fashioned). The food is consistently exceptional, making it the perfect venue for quality time with loved ones. Furthermore, Bivouac Ciderworks offers a delightful selection of classic games for patrons to enjoy, alongside entertaining trivia nights every Thursday. Even my young daughter gives her enthusiastic approval for their non-alcoholic cider options. She particularly adores their delectable burgers and the warm pretzel plate. Don’t miss the opportunity to sample their cider flight, suitable for any mood, whether rain or shine. Bivouac Ciderworks wonderfully embodies the essence of North Park’s culture while adding a touch of sophistication to the mix. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

Bivouac blew us away. We had a cider tasting with Lara and she put on a masterclass for everything cider. For everyone that thinks that if you have tried one cider then you have tried them all, she has something to say about that. She walked us through 8 different ciders that ranged it tastes and flavors much like you would taste in wines. The ambiance must be mentioned. The vibe is built around an outdoor lifestyle, so their tasting room is modeled like the inside of a yurt. Its very cool. Pro tip: reach out ahead of time and see when Laras dog Cooper is going to be there. He is an excellent host and very susceptible to pets.

Love Bivouac! Came here last night for dinner and drinks and everything was awesome! Especially the fried chicken sandwich and the burger (with homemade pickles made from homegrown cucumbers!). This place has a great vibe, and has a ton of gluten-free options. And they’re dog friendly! I will definitely return!

5 stars across the board. Some of the best cider I’ve experienced. Food and service were also fantastic. We arrived during trivia night and the place was packed but still made room for us. Johnny went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed with regard to food and drink.

Always a chill vibe at Bivouac. Management/ownership hires the best people. Everyone is always sooo friendly. I'm a beer girl and don't care for super fruity/sweet drinks, but I do enjoy my ciders every so often. This place is always on point because they offer both semi-sweet and semi-dry ciders, draft craft beer and cocktails to accommodate all tastes. I normally come here for a sip rather than food, but the food I have had is also very good. The meatball appetizer is on point, I wouldn't be mad if I paid full price for them since they are yummy, but the $6 happy hour deal is a steal. IDK if you know, but the owner makes a FIRE chili. They've won the chili cookoff at Sonofest a few years in a row now. I attended the Dec. 2023 festival and I can confirm that the chili is delicious. A few weeks back, they had a ton of off-menu chili specials which I obviously couldn't pass up. This place is great for a date night, happy hour vibes, etc. Stop by! They're also very dog friendly which is a plus for me. My dog even loves the atmosphere here because she always tries to go in when we walk by. :)

What a fun little dive! Right on 30th in North Park across from Crazy Burger, this place is easy to spot. We came for Yappy (Happy) Hour and got meatballs, roasted red pepper hummus with cucumber roasted carrot and pita, and soft pretzels. The pretzels are little pretzel loads not a twisted pretzel but tasted amazing! Everything was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the San Diego Jam Cider which was an easy drink and very delicious as well as the Savoy, which was a very traditional tasting cider. Also got some "Research and Development" ciders in a flight and loved them all. Delicious flavors and fun atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

OMG BEST MICHELADA EVER. Bartender asked me how spicy I liked it which was super considerate. Great ambiance and amazing staff. A MUST in north park

Beautiful venue! Perfect chill/ laid back date spot. They have a ton of ciders of course but they do still have some cocktails, beer, and wine if you prefer but don't expect some large selection. Great for groups as well! The food is pretty good for it being supplementary. I'm not big on Cider so I liked that they allow you to do flights so you can try different things.

N

Chill and welcoming atmosphere. Food was amazing for a brewery and the ciders crisp. Although we were asked to wrap up by a certain time for a large party, the request was tactful and friendly and worked for our timeline. Will go back when visiting San Diego.

We were visiting from out of town and stumbled across this place but it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff were immediately friendly and inviting when we walked in and took their time to explain the various cider options. The vibe was great and I really felt encouraged to stay, sip cider, eat s’mores and play games. At some point, Lara, the owner came out and started chatting with us and it was an absolutely enjoyable conversation talking with her about her vision in creating the space. It was a great experience and will definitely come back when we visit again!

Bivouac is a great local space to meet up with friends. The selection of ciders is eclectic and fun to try the different flavors. The food is also delicious and, combined with the ciders, made for great time with friends.

I absolutely loved it here! My best friend who lives within walking distance (how cute is North Park btw) took me here because she knew it'd be a place a gluten free person could love. I don't always get to have a flight of anything, mostly because there not usually more than one or two ciders available at other places, so being able to try both the In and Out ciders and Bivouac was an incredible experience. Also, the fries are freaking amazing. So amazing, I made a phone background with them.

Beautiful space, loved the murals and tall ceilings. Appreciated true dedication to sustainability, eg no plastic and no takeout drink containers to encourage you to slowly savor. Cider was good - got the pear rose. Would definitely come back for a tasting. Food was good but not full on sit-down space. Burger was ok according to dining partner. Falafel wrap was good. Server was very nice in bringing both the green goddess hummus and dressing.

Very cool atmosphere, friendly personable staff and inventive ciders brewed in house (tanks in the back). An $11 3-cider flight is the right way to go. They also have food if this is your only stop in North Park. Flavours change throughout the months. To celebrate fall, I tried the Cat’s Paw, a pear and pumpkin cider (basically pumpkin spice). The other two were amazing as well but I’ll leave it to you to explore for yourself. ;)

If you enjoy cider, this is the place for you. With 6 house ciders on tap, and 5 guest cider, you won't get bored. They also serve brandy and fruit distilled spirits. I recommend the ceviche, delish!

Found this place on a list of greats places to visit in San Diego and boy was I not disappointed! The ciders were amazing the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was very inviting. We had an issue with some flies (it’s an open air seating area) but it’s California what do you expect. Will definitely be back

Omg, this place is sooooo cute! We have been here a few times and are locals in North Park. Love what they did to the decor this year—the theme is "adventure," and it's just so cute and such a great idea for ambiance. Great ciders! They have a huge variety, ranging from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. They also have experimental flavors, which was fun! This is a great spot for people who are gluten-free! They expanded their shop to include a next-door coffee shop with a selection of international ciders and some snacks and merchandise. The staff was super nice to us! Will definitely be back and so happy with the new decor! Fun music too!

K

This place offers an extensive cider menu. The awesome part is they have a legend that tells you which ciders are dry vs sweet. They also have creative appetizers and the vibes are trendy and fun. It's also pretty casual which makes it easy.

This place is excellent for people with celiac/wheat allergies!!! And so many cider options! They were delicious. I met the owner while I was there. Wonderful lady! I will be going back, frequently! Almost everything on the menu has a gluten free option. And the gluten free chocolate torte is to die for!!! I feel blessed to have found this gem!

It's great having a cider place in North Park. I love all the beer tasting rooms, but some people aren't beer drinkers. Bivouac fills that side need. Besides... The food is great!

J
Jessica J.

Fantastic cider and great people! Everyone here was so friendly and helpful, and the ciders were phenomenal. Got two flights and every one was a winner. Ciders can often lean too sweet and too sugary, but not here. Every one was well balanced and refreshing. If you happen to come during fall/winter and they have their hot cider brewing, be sure to give that a try too! They brew it with a touch of cognac and spices and it’s pure comfort in a cup.

Amazing. Not only is the food very good, and the cider wonderful! ( Especially for dry cider lovers), but the service is above and beyond. My partner is gluten free, but I am not. We wanted to share the spicy chicken sandwich. Without us prompting, when the servers and chef found out my partner was gluten-free, they offered to split the sandwich for us with half on a bun and the other half on lettuce. I couldn't believe it. No restaurant has ever gone above and beyond in this way to split a meal for us. It was great! If you want to take some cider home, they also let you mix and match six packs. And if a flavor is not already canned, they will can it for you. Shout out to the two servings staff on the evening of December 23rd. They were both wonderful!

We went for cider and brunch. Neither disappointed. Each did a flight of cider. Savoy was our favorite, with San Diego Jam coming in a class second. Next time we will bring a growler to fill. Their growlers are cool, but very pricey. Brunch was the Campfire Scramble with a side of potatoes, which we shared. Both were prepared wonderfully. Flavorful with no additional seasoning needed.

Gorgeous space for upscale cider tasting experience, with artisanal ciders sourced globally. Exquisite attention to detail from stone laced bar stools carried through to stone tap handles encasing slices of apple inside. Fantastic, creative brunch menu to die for too with Egg Cochon poached egg over pulled pork, bread pudding and gochujang coated crispy potatoes, super fragrant Fried Rice with crab and spam. Love this place so much, I consider it worth the drive from LA to SD many times over.

Really cute, trendy spot. We've been a few times and enjoy the unique cider flavors. There's something for everyone, sweet, sour, spicy, dry, etc. Sadly wasn't thrilled by the pumpkin spice cider however the Dirty Chai cider "Haywire Twist" more than made up for it. We even bought some to take home with us. Other favorites of ours are the English Pub "Savoy" and Pineapple Pear "Marlin Spike". Get a flight and try a little of each. Would definitely recommend the polenta tots, a pleasant surprise and gluten free!

J

The ambience was great, the drinks were superb, and the service was A1. My friends and I ordered the beer flight, and my favorite was the chai IPA. It was earthy, caffeinated, and had the right amount of chai. If I could get a whole keg of it, I would! This place is definitely a great weeknight hangout. They have outdoor and indoor seating, and the decorations are simple, yet impactful. I absolutely recommend going here for a drink or a small treat!

This place has become one of my absolute favorite hangouts. The cider selection is always top-notch, with a great variety of flavors to suit every palate. I’ve been especially loving the Rosé cider lately, it’s crisp and refreshing! The food menu is just as impressive, especially if you’re vegetarian. The soyrizo tacos are packed with flavor, and the meze platter is a perfect sharable snack with a little bit of everything I crave. I’m looking forward to seeing what they roll out on the new menu! Shout out to the team (Daniel, Jonnie, Camille, Tanner, Luke, and Joe) who always go above and beyond. They’re friendly, fast, and make everyone feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you come for the drinks but end up staying for the great people. The weekly trivia nights are a blast too! Fun, engaging, and a great excuse to gather with friends or make new ones. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re into good cider, good vibes, and good company.

STOP SCROLLING. Sorry for yelling. If you're looking for an October 10th time, this is the place. Biv is one of my favorite neighborhood spots not just because of the service (s/o to Daniel / Jonny / Luke / Joe / Camille) but because of the consistency in their food and bev quality. I prefer my drinks on the drier / less sweet side so the Albright is my go-to for cider and Glamping for a cocktail. Their cider menu features a rotating R&D section too, which I appreciate because I get FOMO and always need to get a flight to try any new flavors that come out. Let's talk about food now. They have a wide menu selection, super human and animal friendly. Some favorites are the Local Honey Roasted Carrots (they are GENEROUS with the pistachios, which is crazy. In this economy?), Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese, Fancy Fries obviously, Polenta Tots,... y'all I'm not even vegetarian. The Steak Frites come highly recommended, I think I'll try that next time and will update this with my thoughts. 4/17/2025 TBD. Thank you to the folks at Bivouac for the amazing service, food, drinks, cleanliness, service, food, drinks, cleanliness (so great I had to say it twice)!! PS. October 10th = 10/10

Super cool place with great service, amazing flavors for both food and ciders. The wait staff are all super friendly and shout out to hostess Sophie and our waitress Sophia for making our experience top notch! Highly recommend the fish and chips and the grass fed burger paired with the Savoy cider. Delish!

I’d never visited a cidery before - so when I saw Bivouac I knew I needed to stop in! I was excited to see they also have vegan menu items (I grabbed the squash tacos over their vegan burger.) We shared a flight of three (my fave being San Diego Jam) but there are so many more flavors I want to try! Definitely recommend giving them a visit and trying a flight while you’re around!

While I’m not a cider drinker, my girlfriend is. However, after spending an evening here I think I will start drinking more ciders. This place was so great they’ve turned me on to ciders (not as my first choice still). The concept was really cool: choose 3 ciders as a flight and enjoy. Excited to return next time I am in San Diego.

We live in the neighborhood and really enjoy Bivouac every time we come. Options available to get cider flights or full pour. If you don’t drink alcohol, they have a good selection of non-alcoholic ciders (ask what they have if not listed on the menu). I really like their starter plates; my favorite is the polenta tots. Good selection of other “bar-style” foods as well. Great fries. Really love the ambiance and service here as well. Very lucky to have been served most recently by Joe, who is the absolute best and has lots of recommendations. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

Spent some time in their new addition today, great community space! Tasty ciders, good food, great atmosphere. A must visit when in San Diego.

This place is lovely, you can tell the thought & planning that was put into the design of this beautiful space. The food & alcohol is a bit on the pricey side + only one glass of cider was over 15 with tip. Otherwise the staff was very friendly & helpful aside from the chef in the back who got upset & unprofessional when a food order was asked to be customized due to vegan preferences. The other staff apologized greatly for his attitude, this left us a bit sour.

Great food and drinks. I tried 4 different ciders and liked all of them. My hubby had the LBC and really enjoyed it. The veggie curry and the chicken wrap were tasty.

I'm not a Cider drinker but my wife is so we visited while in SD, and I have to say I was very impressed. We had a couple of flights all all were really good. Much like craft beer, these Cider's are nothing like the "big boys" that you see everywhere and that definitely a good thing. Loved the decor in the bar, staff friendly and helpful. Well worth the visit!

We came here for happy hour but I ended up just ordering from the regular menu because nothing really intrigued me from the HH menu. Came at 5PM on a Friday and there was no wait, the place was pretty empty. It gets busier around 7PM. ~PARKING~ Only street parking but there is a paid parking structure about a 5 min walk away. ~FOOD/DRINKS~ I got the cider flight ($13) with Prickly Pear Guava and 2 seasonal ciders, Bimini Twist and Cat's Paw. All were delicious. I also ordered the Bivouac Burger ($16) and it was huge. Mouth was low key hurting from how big it was. They put tons of fresh veggies in it and the aioli sauce was delicious. It came with a side of fries which were perfectly seasoned and crispy. ~AMBIANCE~ Such a cozy and nicely decorated place. Came here in October and the place was ready for the fall. Felt happy being here. Service is friendly but not very attentive. Food came out in a reasonable time, but it takes a while to get your order in.

Good cider, I only took a star off because it would be better if the windows and doors were closed. With them open it was hot and a lot of noise came in from the street. FLIES EVERYWHERE

Great place for cider and gf friendly food. I don't even remember the last time I had fish and chips (because of my celiac).

Really fun spot. Ciders are $13 for 12oz though, which is pretty dang expensive. Not sure why that is. Everything else is great though. Update: Owner made good points. I added a star. This place is solid but I personally would rather spend $8-10 on a less exotic cider (vs $13 on a creative one). Also, the cider menu doesn't list prices for some reason?

Fun spot! The outdoor bar seating is prime real estate, especially when paired with some classic San Diego weather. Unfortunately, the house made ciders were just ok. Despite the delicious descriptions, I found the actual flavor profiles to be a little muted. Food was just ok as well, but I’m open to coming again to try some other menu items.

My wife and I were pretty lucky to get princess parking on 30th. The atmosphere was inviting. I enjoyed the"camping" theme. I forgot to ask how to pronounce the name of this place. The cider was pretty good but I found the flavors a bit flat. The Hunter's Bend was my favorite of the five we tried. Expensive menu but the food was good and service fantastic. We'll be back hoping for more flavor complexity. Good to see a solid addition to the North Park scene.

Delicious and unique cider variations! You don't see many cideries around and Bivouac Ciderworks does not disappoint. They feature different cider flavors, from dry to sweet, and even have rotating seasonal offerings . The food options are great as well, and also include vegan and vegetarian options!

This is beautiful little cidery. Wonderful bar opening onto the sidewalk. Womderful bartender - helpful and fun. Good food and service. The grass fed burger was absolutely amazing. The bad news is the cider isn't that great. Tried 4 in a flight and they all tasted about the same. I'm a big cider fan so this was disappointing.

K

We came just before it started to rain. It's a shame because they have a nice front patio. It was still great as they had board he's and plenty of seating. I tried a sip of the mango habanero which I was hoping was more mango than habanero. I tried the Albright, a pear cider with hints of vanilla that was tasty. The Sheepshank, which is matcha cucumber, tasted better after a few sips. The San Diego Jam is a sweet blackberry cider which I quote liked but my friend did not.

I love the decor here. I wrote a previous review to which the owner responded so I went by again and had a “flight” of 3 ciders. They all tasted like cider though there wasn’t much in the way of the names of them. If I had a lot of water between drinks, I could detect some of the strawberry. Very little ginger. The cherry wasn’t very cherry-like, but for me that was fairly good as I don’t like some intense cherry flavors. It was still kind of ok. I was quite unimpressed with the food last visit but I didn’t try any this time. The ambiance is great, and cider is ok. It’s a full bar so you can get anything there. I’m guessing it could be good for the other drinks but if I’m going to a cider spot, I’ll want Cider!! You know?!? I’m a big cider fan so I could be harder on them than you might be…. Anyways, that’s my story & im sticking to it. Also, the girl’s expression looked so priceless in this photo, of course I had to post it!! 😂 #sideeye

Bivouac Ciderworks has such a cool vibe and is the perfect spot to spend a Saturday or Sunday. The ciders are fantastic—super refreshing with lots of unique flavors to try. The atmosphere is relaxed but fun, making it a great place to hang out with friends or just kick back for the afternoon. It can get a little busy on weekends, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in North Park!

High expectations, low outcome. Bivouac cider itself is super delicious, which is why i was so excited to come! Seeing they host trivia on Thursday’s my friends and I decided to try it out in person, but the experience really fell short. Our server seemed strangely uninformed and confused about everything. He saved a large table for us but said we couldn’t sit there until our whole party showed up, so instead we occupied half of the bar seats, meaning others waiting couldn’t sit while they still held our table. The food was pretty mediocre - pretzel was cold and bland, meatballs were ok, hummus a pretty small serving given the other number of dipping items on the plate. The cider was still delicious, so if you’re coming just for that then it’ll be a good time! But I wouldn’t come back, personally. Happy to get their bevs elsewhere.

Nothing bad about this spot. But nothing stands out to make it worth a return for us. Also not the best value for the price of the food and drinks. It was really expensive for two entrees and drinks. Nothing wrong with the food, it was decent. But wouldn't pay roughly $18-20 for mediocre dishes. Got the pollo asado tacos and hot honey chicken sandwich. I prefer pollo asado tacos from any taco shop in SD compare to this. But absolutely loved the fries! Perfect crispiness and flavor! I have to say, the cider here tastes amazing! We loved every pour we got, tried all the research/new flavors. It was hard for us to pay $6/5oz pour, not used to that. Not sure we'd come back because that's a little high (for us) for the amount of product. Our preference tends towards beer and whiskey, so that would influence where we spend more money per ounce.

We went here on a slow evening and sat at the bar. We ordered a cider and the gluten free chicken tinders and fries, I asked the bartender about the fryer and she assured me that it was completely gluten free and no chance of cross contamination. The $15 chicken tinders and fries were just okay, the chicken was dark meat which I thought was kinda gross and cheap for chicken tinders. Then I got violently ill later that evening and knew I had been glutened. 2 days later and I’m still recovering, don’t eat here if you have celiac. Also i definitely wish I would’ve checked Find me gluten-free reviews before I came.

Overrated hipster restaurant. It was like they said, "what are all the popular trends with food right now?" and then proceeded to make all of them, but do a subpar job of it. Would maybe only go back for the atmo and the collection of drinks. Should probably stick to the cider because it was the only thing that made our time and money worth spending there.

I thought the staff were friendly and the food/cider was flavorful; but I have a huge problem with restaurants not honoring their happy hour on their website and in person menu. It’s not right and I’ve seen more and more businesses do this. Change your website and menu.

Good cider but was served Pace salsa claiming it was “House made Fire Roasted salsa” along with an absolutely rubbish charcuterie board. The food used to be amazing but this was a disappointing dramatic drop in quality.

Walked in on a Friday was pretty dead but I wanted to try a cider. Was given a menu of their ciders with no prices. Ordered 2 ciders and it was $28… cmon if you’re going to charge that for 2 draft drinks at least put the price on the menu

M
Megan Tchir

Eek their cider tastes watered down and flavorless. Sorry!!! Try Serpentine Cider then try this place... no comparison which is better. Service is lacking, there were 2 servers and it seemed nobody wanted to make eye contact or offer service. Servers were on their phones, sipping cider, and giving preferential service to their regulars and friends. That said the ambiance is beautiful. Natural surroundings and herbal flavors in their cider

K
Kenneth

The drinks are great but the food is all over the place. It almost feels like a diner on the side of the road type quality, which you wouldn’t expect if you’re paying as much as you do. Easily the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had at a sit down restaurant

A disappointing experience. Highly recommended going in but the poor experience was there from the start. No one to greet or explain self seating. Sat at the table for several minutes before being served while the wait staff went to adjacent tables. When we were finally served and the food came, it was off. The patatas bravas was not a patatas bravas. It was just potato pieces not smashed potatoes then deep fried. My friend’s burger was raw when she ordered medium/medium well. The food was cold. Only good thing was the aioli and the cider flight. The steak of steak frites was decent as was the arugula salad. Served never checked on us and it took forever to get our check. Probably some of the worst and inattentive service have experienced. We passed several places on our way that would have been better options. Leaving a review because want a woman owned business to do better. The bro atmosphere is going to hurt your business.

The atmosphere was cute. Immediately was excited to go inside and sit. I stayed for about 30 minutes and ordered a drink. However, immediately it was a bit unappetizing because the straw they gave me had stains/mouth marks at the top and I wanted it hot and they gave me iced. I didn’t even get to drink my drink because I had to leave (which was overpriced for watered down matcha that tasted like artificial powder); I asked for a to-go cup and they told me I couldn’t have a to-go cup because they are all about sustainability and that you can only dine in there. I like the concept and respect the policy but this company is making a ton of money overall, and you can’t offer me a refund or another option to be somewhat helpful? I just asked for a to-go cup and ended up having to waste an entire drink (which is even less sustainable). I even asked if they could put it in the fridge for me and I’d come back to drink it as to not waste it. They said no, implying that you have to drink it now or it goes to waste. What is this TSA? They should tell you that while you order or at least be a little more communicative on the menu! I usually don’t write reviews unless they are outstanding service but I had to write this one so others who might be stopping in for some quick coffee in the morning are aware. It’s ridiculous, if you pay for food or drink at a restaurant you should get what you pay for whether you are dining in or taking it to-go!

We arrived there the other night around 8:45 PM, not knowing the venue closed at 9:00 PM. Instead of telling us it was last call or informing us that the bar was closing, the staff let us order two expensive, $17 cocktails. Immediately after ordering, the experience became terrible. The bartender rudely pulled the menu right out of my hands while I was still looking at it. Never in my life have I had a bartender snatch a menu out of my hands, instead of just communicating in plain English that they are closing. He then began aggressively cleaning and shutting down the entire bar around us, making us feel completely unwelcome and rushed, while other customers were still seated and enjoying their drinks. If a business is closing, the standard practice is to communicate last call before taking an order and I would have had no problem with that. Being aggressively rude to paying customers is unacceptable. It was extremely disappointing and showed a complete lack of professionalism and definitely last time I go to this place!
