O que dizem os clientes de Nomad Donuts
Nomad Donuts is loved for its creative donuts, Montreal-style bagels, and breakfast sandwiches. Vegan options are plentiful and staff are friendly. Some find the prices high and the Vietnamese cold brew disappointing. The Island Boy breakfast sandwich and za'atar bagel are highly recommended.

Amazing bagels and great donuts. I got an everything bagel with salmon, avocado and egg and was impressed. Employee was very kind and even brought our order to us. I was also a fan of the maple donut, which I tried out and thoroughly enjoyed. One more note is that parking was surprisingly good for North Park. Definitely recommend.
Such a great little spot. Staff were so friendly. I love that they have a great selection of bagel sandwiches. We had the chop cheese and the carnitas, they were both really good! Loved the house lemonade as well. We didn't try a doughnut but will be sure to next time!!
This place is ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! I drive 40+ minutes and will sit in traffic any day to eat a tomogo bagel sandwich. Don’t even get me started on the Vietnamese coffee. So strong, and so delicious. This place eats down in every department and I love their fire flavor combinations. This place needs more hype.
Stopped in for some bagel sandwiches and got a Chopped Cheese on Black Sesame and a Carnitas on Za'tar and both were top-tier. Great flavors, bagels had great texture and held up to the weight of the sandwich fillings and sauces. Friendly staff in a no-frills neighborhood joint. Didn't get a chance to try the donuts but will definitely be back!
Great breakfast sandwich. Good coffee. I had the standard egg & cheese. It was hot and fresh. The bagel was delicious. I'll come back and try some of the other ones for sure.
Hear me out. I've reviewed tons of tacos spots. Hands down under rated breakfast tacos here. Meat lovers tacos are perfect. Salsa is bomb too. Just saying. If you want a good breakfast tacos, try the ones here. Donuts are bomb too.
Nomad Donuts is easily one of the best donut spots in San Diego. Their flavors are super creative without feeling over the top, and everything tastes really fresh. You can tell they care about quality and small details—both in the dough and in the toppings. The staff is always friendly and patient while you decide what to get, and the vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming. Definitely worth going out of your way for, especially if you love trying unique donuts and a good cup of coffee.
I’ve only eaten their bagels with cream cheese and I keep coming back for more. 5 stars for the bagels! They are chewy, yet tender, perfect bite and airiness, not too dense. The cream cheese is so creamy and they use fresh herbs in the garlic herb. The fruit cream cheese is nice for a sweeter tooth, but it’s not overly sweet. The bagel is even delicious after sitting for a few hours. They also wrap them very nicely. The sesame bagel has a delicious flavor when extra toasted, because of the sesame seeds. I also recommend the zaatar flavor bagel. Truly, I’m sure all the flavors are tasty, it’s just a matter of preference. Best bagels in San Diego in my humble opinion.
We went twice during our long weekend! The staff was so nice during our first time when we couldn't decide between the Day at the Fair (strawberry funnel cake) and Blueberry, that she gave the Blueberry as a freebie. It worked out because I loved the funnel cake one and my husband loved the Blueberry. We also shared the Salmon Gravlax bagel and WOW, so delicious and comforting with the toasty bagel. On our 2nd visit, we got the Vegan Shawarma Bagel, the Apple Pie donut and the Guava Cream Cheese. All phenomenal and surprisingly not too sweet. We're definitely coming back for more on our next SD trip! :)
I love Nomad’s specialty donuts! They have really fun flavors. I was hoping to try their cider donut last month but I missed out. I ended up getting the raspberry rhubarb one instead which was delicious. I also tried their special wine and cheese macaron with is amazing. It’s really easy to order online and pick up too.
Stopped into this jewel when my daughter and I noticed there was a line. We have this theory, if a place has a line especially early in the morning then we must try it. The line was out the door, so we just waited. The parking was not good but we got lucky and OMG was it so WORTH it. We ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich and MY LORD was it heaven sent. The bagel was fresh, they are made right on site. You can see the baker taking the bagels out of the oven. The donuts were also AMAZING!! You better get there early because they sell out fast. A few of the donuts we wanted they were already sold out and it was 10:30am in morning. Definitely recommend EVERYONE to come and check it out.
This place has the best bagels—and bagel sandwiches—in town. They do Montreal style, so they get the wood fired treatment. They’re perfect! Donuts are great as well, and the seasonal selections are thoughtful and innovative. The chewiness of the donuts is not my favorite in the city, but the flavor is on point. GO HERE FOR BAGELS, even if you’re not into donuts!
We ordered the Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham and the Baogel, and a variety of donuts. The bagels were okay, but they did not amaze me. After a few bites I felt the need to check to make sure I had eggs on mine (my wife says the egg stood out, though). The bagels were flavorful and creative, soft, and filling. The price was good. The donuts were interesting. The dough was cakey, but we found it lacking the savory, sweet, fatty punch you look for in donuts. We really loved the orange creamsicle donut. Overall, it was good and we would go back to try more donut flavors, would recommend.
This place had great donuts and good customer service. My breakfast sandwich was filling. If you like donuts this place is worth checking out. Not sure if they had all the seating removed or if it was temporarily off limits. But there was absolutely no where to sit. Kind of silly the venue was filled with guests patiently standing in a cramped isle with no where to eat or sit. Also no napkins available. I’d recommend checking this place out but don’t plan on eating on site.
Great Bagels and fantastic food. Our only complaint, is the Vietnamese cold brew has become pre-mixed. This has made a drink that is more creamer than cold brew. It used to be a great drink, but now I can't finish. We've tried several times to add extra cold brew, but it just isn't the same. Disappointing.
Picked up some doughnuts and bagels. I attribute the high prices to the area, so be prepared for that. The doughnuts are good. No problem there. But the bagels are no resemblance to a New York, Detroit, Chicago. Toronto or Montreal bagel. In appearance, they are a bagel. Once you slice them, they are plain old bread. Ugh. So no reason to specifically go out of your way. Bread bagels are available all over.
First Visit to Nomad Donuts – Unfortunately Disappointing This was our first time visiting Nomad Donuts. We went on a Saturday around 10:30am, so parking was tough — pretty typical for North Park — but we eventually found a spot after circling a few times. I was expecting a larger donut selection based on what I had heard, but the variety was more limited than anticipated. We ordered two bagel breakfast sandwiches, a sprinkle donut for our son, a small cold brew, a chai latte, and an orange juice. The donut was just okay — nothing memorable. The breakfast sandwiches were decent, but not standout. My wife enjoyed her chai latte, but the cold brew was extremely bitter. Even after adding cream and sugar, it was still hard to drink. That was disappointing, especially for a place known for coffee and donuts. The overall cleanliness also left something to be desired. The shop felt a bit grimy, and the outdoor patio tables were noticeably crooked and unstable. My son’s orange juice (which was actually very good) nearly slid off the tilted table more than once, and we had to keep steadying it. Having lived in North Park for over 10 years, I’ve tried nearly every local spot and had high hopes for Nomad given its reputation. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Our total came to about $55 before tip — nearly $60 — which felt steep for the overall experience and quality. Sadly, this will likely be our first and last visit.
This one hurts because back in 2018 this place was amazing. Innovative donut flavors, so much creativity, and they were really shaking up the scene. Flash forward to 2026, the donuts got way smaller, the prices got more expensive and worse, and they were sidelined for some alright but overpriced bagel sandwiches. This place really was great hopefully it can reach its old peak.
Item: Meat, Egg, Cheese Bagel W/ Cream Cheese Price: $17.80 Thoughts: Obscene price for an *at best* mid bagel sando. Flavor was not there; small bagels; don't waste your time.
