PHENOMENAL! Dino’s has some of the best Greek cuisine I’ve EVER had! The cafe focuses primarily on traditional Greek dishes like Mousaka, gyros etc. but it also has fusion meals like Greek burgers! I recommend the Hercules burger which comes with a patty, cuts of lamb, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato and more burger fixings smack in the middle of two brioche buns. It’s not only one of the BEST burgers I’ve ever had, it’s some of the best lamb cuts I’ve ever tried! The cafe was very laidback and relaxed. The staff were decent and the place was pretty clean. The food came out reasonably fast. The fountain drink options are minimal. I heard about this place from the SD Gulls Hockey Team. Next time, I’m bringing my ticket and getting my free gyro! The staff at Dino’s didn’t tell me but now I know! Note: There’s tons of outdoor and indoor seating! It’s a great place to hang with friends or family!
Ordered the Gyro meal deal (modest-sized gyro sandwich, small soda, crispy crunchy fries with a side of tzatziki--$14.25 with tip), $5 Stella Artois, and a chocolate baklava. With 18% tip, my total was $29.88. Bit of a wallet-buster, but not bad for a mall sit-down restaurant. Everything was soooo good, and the guy manning the register was excellent at the job. My friend and I left full, but not uncomfortably stuffed. Very satisfied!
Best French Fries and Beet Salad Ever. Every thing on the menu is fresh. Some vegitarian and vegan options. Staff is friendly. Cheerful friendly Pup atmosphere. Very family and group friendly. 4/11/22 Just had their Beyond Burger ( I don’t enjoy beef). It was AMAZING! Burger cooked perfectly, tomato, avocado, spinach and yummy sauce and toasted bun. PERFECTION Once again Great Friendly service ❤️
Absolutely worth visiting. Fantastic service, Everything is homemade and fresh, big portions and bonuses like special batch mango habanero sauce! I got the combo plate and was able to get two meals out of it. Relaxing ambiance at the outdoor tables with a view of the fountain. I can't wait to return and try the falafel and other specialties.

We are long term clients of Dino's Gyros Greek Cafe & Taverna, both dinning in person & thru DoorDash. The Lamp Kabob Plate w/ fries & salad are our favorite. It's GREAT! Cooked to perfection and served by long term staff members that have been with Dino's over 22 years. Dino's is Dynamic and "Earns all 5 Stars," with each and every order we enjoy. Happy Customer!
I absolutely lovedddddd this place so much. The Greek Burger I had was genuinely one the best burgers I’ve had! I will definitely be coming back here. Also the guy server, didn’t catch the name, but he had glasses on, was the sweetest server I’ve had around the area. Highly recommend, coming from someone (me) who is not easily impressed by greek style cuisine.
The owner/waiter was very nice and tried to help my daughter connect to their wifi. The food was excellent and it was relatively cheap. Overall the place is very nice and I will go again!

Hidden San Diego gem. Tucked away in Clairmont mall. One of the last non-franchised family Greek restaurants left in the county. Great menu, fantastic food. Staff is always friendly, and food is authentic and delicious. Relaxing atmosphere. Roomy and spacious. Patio dining is lovely. They never make you feel rushed or unappreciated. Excellent for parties and events. Try the Greek desserts. Heaven.
Strip mall Greek food. I had the gyro sandwich ($14.50 July 2025). It was OK, but skimpy on the meat and the tzatziki was a little bland. Not fine dining, but acceptable if you are here and craving Greek, but perhaps try a different dish.
Tried this place to see if they were any good. My Greek salad with falafel (these were added extra) was delicious. The Tzatziki and dressing were very yummy, the falafel were bite sized but enough and filling . The pita bread was warm and the feta was fresh. Nit overwhelmed by too much onions or cucumbers, if anything, needed some more pepperccini, imo. My party had the lamb burgers which I had a tiny taste of, and they were juicy and the buns were fresh. Service was friendly and the place was clean. A bit pricey, as I saw some of the other items on the menu, but everyone was happy with their meals. I would come back for sure!
If you want a solid gyro this place is great. The service was super fast and my food was delicious. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The venue was clean and it’s conveniently located near other stores and the movie theater.
Great fries, efficient staff & prices match quality & freshness of food. Mondays are $ 9.99 for all salads, but I saw someone else's fries and had to get gyros plate. I upgraded to beet salad & added avocado 🥑 but really went all out on tropical hard cider. I wanted kombucha but this was better and more flavorful! Double check your to go order for enough cucumber sauce & ask for peppercinos too! Really enjoyed sitting outside by water fountain, they have heated lamps & umbrellas for the shade plus you are steps away from movie theater...

Friendly staff, okay gyros, and a little bit below average chicken kabob plate. Not a fan of the tzatziki sauce or the ingredients of the salad dressing. But I would have to say, the pita bread is pretty tasty.
Friendly service, plenty of seating, decent variety of craft beers, and several TVs playing different games. Food was ok, not as good nor as fresh as it used to be. Some of the french fries were tough and looked old, while some appeared to be fresh. Lots of flies on the wall next to the soda machine. Plenty of kids meal options.

Owner is super rude and unprofessional. She let's out her anger on customers and demands to put money in the tip jar for to go orders!!! I'll never go back for my Greek fix again even after being a sold customer for over 10 years. Seeking a new Greek spot!

Tried it first time today. The platter I ordered was supposed to have pastitio as one of the 4 items and it was missing. The spanakopita was hot and crispy and delicious. The moussaka was almost stone cold. The gyros was okay, but not remarkable. It was all dumped into a regular take out container all mashed together and on a bed of lettuce that was wilted by the time I got down to it. The fries were barely warm, but tasty. Most of it was very bland. Haven’t tried the salad yet. Very disappointed.
⚠️ WARNING Don't not buy anything here, they have some racist bigots who come after you make a purchases. Very aggressive energy come yelling and screaming at you very hostile...this lady harassed and attack me for making a purchase of a gyro.. assaulted and put her hands in my face almost hitting me, yelling and screaming racial slurs .. This racism needs to stop hated for people of color is pure evil. She will be exposed. I've never been attacked or harassed after making a purchase in my life. This lady is a complete nut case. All because he employee asked me if I wanted cheese on my burger. This lady Pure hatred and bigotry. If your a person of color don't support this horrible racism. She will try to lie and play the victim after attacking you.
Ordered on grub hub. Food was good. Completely forgot my husbands French fries were completely missing and we didn’t notice until we sat down to eat. Super disappointing especially since it’s right there on the ticket that he paid extra for fries…
Should have read the reviews. Paid 23+ for small portions and bland food. First time stopping by and won't be back. I didn't even get a fork or napkins. How am I supposed to eat a salad without a fork.
If you think this is good Greek food for the price… you don’t know better. This place is expensive for the food served. Better restaurants in town have good quality of Greek food and fresh for better prices. I feel robbed. Small portions and the spanakopitas were frozen and microwaved.
I was pretty excited to try this place but beware... I payed about $20 a plate for one of the smallest portions of meat I've gotten in a meal before. I was kind of shocked to be honest. The flavor for the pita bread tastes almost stale.

Look you're going to see Greek food and go here and think, "oh this is awesome, I can't wait to have a nice gyro." Right? Wrong! It's not hard to make good Greek food. It's one of the best things to eat in life. But somehow this place is either being cheap or doesn't care to represent the amazing culture of Greece. The prices are also a joke. This is just one of those places you wonder "how does this place exist? "
