The Silver Spigot is a landmark dive bar. A cornerstone of Bay Park that has outlasted many. Go for it!

Layed back environment, but watch yourself, lot of clientele don't like to be bothered.

I love when it's almost 2am and I still can grab a shot quickly and also take a 6pack of beer to go

Local watering hole with amazing bartenders (some nights are a miss - depends on the shifts) BUT hands down my two favorite girls that will give you the best service are Chelsea and Kayla! Affordable drinks, cheap pool table, golf game, darts, foose ball, HOT SPOT, sports on TV and Touch tunes jukebox box to keep you entertained no matter what day or time of the week! This is a local bar that is considered a gem. You can bring in your own food to eat inside and they do have small snacks to purchase. Parking sucks now with 8 lanes located behind the alley which seems to not be enough for the patrons, they now have to park on the streets or in our neighborhoods street parking. Many more drunk drivers have been seen on Chicago street since that parking has been minimized.

It's right here is a perfect example of a dive bar. Some places trying be divvy but you can tell they're faking it. Does a dive bar connoisseur I approve of this bar.

One (1) beer on tap... you guessed it, Budweiser. Everything else is in bottles. The place used to be divey divey, now it's just divey. Women can actually be spotted there now.

A dive bar without the downtown prices, snotty-ness and dress codes of a nightclub.

I am a firm believer in never giving 5 stars because there should always be room for improvement on anything. You do, however, it's going to be so difficult to leave it at 4 stars with Brooklyn behind the bar. Because she is absolutely fabulous and makes you feel warm and welcomed. No matter how long it's been since you've been at that place plus the atmosphere. And the patrons are fabulous. Trust me if you want a good time. Go to silver spigot and ask for brooklyn. Thank you for turning my night around. And having it end on a high note, you guys are the best. Sorry about only giving you 4 stars still.

They are usually a lot cheaper and they can help you find the hidden gems of the city. They don't serve food but if you are looking for cheap drinks and a nice corner bar this is the place

The bartenders are all nice and good looking. They're engaging and attentive. The clientele are decent, etc. It's a nice place to visit on my way home afterwork. The bartenders make it so.

I've had good times here and bad times. It mostly depends on how friendly the clientele feel like being on a given night.

I walked in and asked for a menu or what type of cocktails they did and the bartender said "seriously?". Very unprofessional and uncalled for.

High risk bar. As a brown male. Was approached by strangers asking what I did for living where was I from. In a hostile manner. As a Californian for most of my life since nine yrs old. Sad to see newcomers ruin san diego. This time a middle aged female asked if I was a private eye while two white males were watching me. As I left one of the males video taped me leaving. This was a friendly fun bar in 2016. Since the female bartenders, some who are friends, work alone and there is no security guard. Anything goes. Beware if you are not white.
