Delicious food with amazing staff! Such sweet people !

Have eaten at this place since 2001. Best schwarma in SF I swear. I loved it a smidgen more when they had lamb, but now they succumbed to the popular demand if the sissy new age woke crowd who don't know lamb. Sigh.... Still love David the owner, the wonderful service, the fantastic food, the lovely garden seating outside. Build your own schwarma is awesome.

I tried their falafel sandwich (wrap) and it was the best. My mom and friends tried both their chicken and beef shawarma and said they were so good. My friends didn't like their tabula though and we were a little concerned about the cleanliness of the place.

Really delicious kebab plate. Very nice people who run the place. Highly recommended for any fans of mediterranean cuisine!!

Brought the fam to eat here on a Saturday nigght at 630. Kids and grandparents crushed it plus the lady/waitress was hella nice. So tired of asian, American and Latin cuisine. This was a great change up!

EXCELLENT food!!! I was craving a kebab and stumbled onto this place. I got the sampler with a chicken and lamb kebab. I was floored by the baba ghanouj and falafel. Wonderful flavor and perfect crunch in the falafel. I think I’ve found my new favorite restaurant!!

Thank you very much to the gentleman I spoke to about my Door Dash order. Like a hungry lunatic, I noticed an incorrect address after I placed my order. DD site or app doesn't make it easy for end users to make changes before your order has started... so i contacted Yumma's directly. Thank you sir, for taking my address, taping it to my order AND informing the driver. He arrived on-time, food was still hot (of course delicious)!!! Above and beyond service, much appreciated. 🤩

Charming mom and Pop place with good prices. We couldn’t believe how big the wraps were and they were absolutely delicious. Like I was in SHOCK! First wrap I really liked since moving to SF. We got the deluxe wraps, chicken and beef. Both were great. You can tell they take the time to do things right and they even make sure to grill the outside of the wraps. And we loved the french fries and eggplant inside of it! What a fun touch.

The ingredients were fresh and portion sizes absolutely perfect. The person behind the counter was very nice, welcoming and professional. The garden seating area is cute, with ample chairs and tables, little plants that someone takes great care of and wind chimes in the garden next door. Everything is clean and tidy. We really liked it!

This place is walking distance away from the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. The food is great and the service excellent. I had the Mediterranean Sampler (Hummus, Falafel, Dolma, Baba Ganoush, etc.) - It was all great and I highly recommend it, especially if you've never had middle eastern food before or are looking for a vegetarian option. My husband initially ordered the beef shawarma wrap, but after it was served, and my husband asked, he was told that it was not halal. The owner was so nice that he replaced the order with chicken shawarma and would not charge us for the non-halal beef wrap.

Had the chicken shawarma plate. Huge amount of food and a great price. Every was fresh and delicious. The two guys behind the counter were very friendly and happy to serve us, I don’t know how this place isn’t slammed every night. The food is bonkers good. The falafel is amazing!!

I tried Mediterranean Plate and some bowls. All are delicious. The first time I haven't noticed a cozy backyard. It's a great place to relax! Thank you!

Inexpensive and delicious fare. But the menu is quite confusing. One time I ordered deluxe falafel and got a wrap with house fries. The next time I did not get the house fries.

The staff were nice and helpful in avoiding allergies. Went in for dinner and got a bowl. The food was ok. The rice in my bowl was kind of dry.

This is a bit of a whole in the wall but very good. The food is excellent, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming!!! There is a cute back patio that you can eat in which is fun to escape the hustle of the city!! It was a fun night out without getting to crazy in the city!

Got the lamb skewer plate. Service was good, food was up quick. I enjoyed the meal! Good flavor and the hummus was fresh . . . But I had a big appetite and the plate wasn't quite as big as I expected.

Yummas! We've been going here before they remodeled / rebranded. Still same great food but slightly different options. The staff cooks quickly, new menu is clearly displayed on the wall. Most people that come here do take out, the ones that dine in tend to really only sit inside the main dining area where there is counter seating. However there is a back patio area surrounded by trees and 2-3 tables. ITS AMAZING and no one ever takes advantage of it, its very private.

Mediocre Mediterranean food. Only visit it if you a need a fix and are in the area. My falalful platter and my friend's schwarma platter were too salty. The Mexican music playing in the background kinda killed the atmosphere.

Yumma's is very good Mediterranean/Shawarma food in the Inner Sunset. The inside isn't much; just a counter and some small tables but the food that they make will make your mouth water. I had the Shawarma deluxe alongside a hummus plate and pita bread. Everything was well cooked and had excellent flavors. The back patio is nice if the weather is warm. No alcohol however.

On a recent bacchanalian weekend in the Bay we decided we needed a break from the rich, heavy food we’d been eating and opted for something healthier. A nearby neighborhood Mediterranean spot fit the bill as we all agreed that hummus is healthy enough. About an hour before closing we arrive to the cook on break facetiming and the cashier/server quick to tell us they are closing in 10 minutes. Figuring we had plenty of time to order and eat we opted for dine in. The shwarma was tender, could use a little more seasoning, it was moist from the marinated pre spit. The fluffy rice was a nice base contrast to the salad, yes I ate the salad. The green dressing which I could not quite figure out was bright, plenty of citrus rind and lemon juice, but a green ingredient I could not place. Heavy on the onions I placed most of it aside. Pita was separate and a must to go with the creamy hummus, nothing crazy on the flavor of that, but the way I figure it hummus is like a vegetable, at least I think it gives fiber, idk. It’s better than the usual stuff I eat. Tri tip was even more tender and juicy, another great platter choice. Pita bread was quick fire warmed on the grill, but came from a package and not made in house. Something was very off about the tomatoes in the salad, no brightness, no acidity and not juicy. No olives either and light on the feta. The portions were pretty good, thought I might have really just gotten the wrap and an order of hummus instead of the combination which included just some hummus. Thinking back on it I would have gotten a wrap with rice, fries, hummus, but that’s just me craving a burrito all the time. The seating set up is tight, including the tall seats around the windows. There is this pole in the middle of the store that disrupts everything. Décor is sort of like a less corporate Garbanzo’s. The floor was greasy and they could use some new silverware. Price for a combo and Mexican coke was just under $15 which wasn’t bad, but again this was the healthiest I ate this trip, in terms of style, portion, price. I’ll give them one more try next visit now that I’m better prepared, but besides speed, price, convenience and Mediterranean being healthy, they have a lot to improve upon.

Shocked that this place was reviewed so highly. We ordered the shawarma and kebab plates and they were incredibly salty. One of the worst meals we've had in a while. Felafel and rice were fine.

Ordered from Postmates. Ordered a bowl with tri tip (paid extra) and premium topping, feta, and paid extra for it as well. All toppings. And it was so small and unappetizing. If you're charging $10 for a bowl, at least fill it up.

A shadow of its former self. It is a shame it used to be a place where you would get fresh food and now you get day old grilled chicken and maybe week old refried falafels. The owner is a nice guy but he should either go back to a higher standard or close shop.

Nothing tastes correct. Sampler without any meat? Swarma was like beef jerky. Never ever coming back. Price is not low enough to overcome the terrible lack of quality.

Just don’t go here. Called in a beef shawarma wrap. Employee said 10 minutes. I get there and he’s just standing there. Hasn’t started my food. No one in line. Starts to make my wrap with no gloves on or washing his hands. I Pay with cash and he grabs the cash with no hand wash after. Forget this place. I threw it away.
