Harper & Rye's easy-going vibe with roomy standing room, leather couches, and a no-thrills bar fosters a good venue for a night out with friends. There's a loft area with a view of Polk Street, pool tables, and public restrooms. Go for the Spee & Beast if you prefer taste over spirit. I absolutely loved this cocktail, which entertained a refreshing, fruity flavor without overpowering the blood orange or liquor. I would definitely order the Spee & Beast again. The Tash & Erik was also tasty, but more spirit-forward. The bartenders weren't the friendliest, but it was a 5 star experience otherwise!

5 A sleek, upscale looking bar with long wooden tables, high ceilings (there’s an upstairs section), and a pool table. I had my birthday here and just came on a weekday, no res. Very dark and vibey - a good social or date spot and the drinks are actually pretty good. Great canoodling energy - I support moves being made here.

It had at least a couple TVs with the game on, pool tables, great selection of scotch, good looking mixed drinks and seemingly good selection of craft beer but I stuck with scotch. Perhaps the only thing missing to make it even better would be more comfortable chairs or couches, but still a great vibe and great drinks.

What I loved most was that they did not care that I had a slice of pizza from outside to bring in - I did not have to finish my pizza before entering and I could live my dream of Pizza Beer Pizza Beer Pizza Beer. Great beer as well. Somewhat crowded but not that crowded especially given it was a Friday night.

Love the vibe in this bar. We tried their TOM & COCO, a blend of vodka, cold brew coffee, sea salt, coffee liqueur, and chocolate bitters, along with the SPEE & BEAST, featuring Japanese whiskey, lemon, lemongrass, and blood orange. Both cocktails were decent in taste. We had an enjoyable time overall.

I don't go out much and I don't have much alcohol activity in my life but I decided I was going to go out tonight and see it relax and have a beer upon the entry I felt out of place which is okay cuz I'm out of place everywhere but stood it bar actually took off Got ready for a drink and everything got comfortable plenty of time for the bartenders too acknowledged me at least and the two bar changes on duty never acknowledged me never come to me even when they had a time they leaned up against the bar or serving other people totally ignoring me and never ever taking my order.... Total lack of hospitality and terrible business ethic....

They have a limited menu of "cocktails" that the bartender will make and the cost is not worth it. Service is extremely slow and you are treated very poorly. You are just a number here. (This review was the honest truth absolutely and I have 10 people that were there to witness this).
