Been meaning to try this location. Recommendation: go early so you can find parking. We ordered to share: Garlic fries, plátanos Maduros and plantain chips. We each order: lomo saltado, tallarín saltado, and adobo de chancho. To drink: Classic Pisco Sour. One word. Delicious. We would definitely come back and come early. We found parking and it was happy hour. Yeah! Also, service was awesome.
Lomo libre will be our new go-to spot for Peruvian food! We had a wonderful experience with all of the staff, plus the food was delicious and portions were generous. We started with ceviche - which is a must! Incredible flavors, fresh seafood, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Since we come here, we have been back. The food has been sooo flavorful each time we have been! The mix of spices and seasonings is joy to my mouth! So far the ceviche is my favorite! My family enjoys it too
An incredible Peruvian food spot. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. To start, the empanadas were delicious, and I highly recommend trying the ceviche, which is very fresh and delicious, with a flavor you'll really enjoy with the plantain chips. A great place to hang out with your partner.
The flavors! The service! The sangria! Chef's kiss 👩🍳 💋! Reasonably priced! Cool tunes too, all my childhood favorites! Can't wait to return!
Wow what an amazing hidden gem! Run don’t walk, this Peruvian food is absolutely incredible. Probably the best lomo Saltado I’ve ever had. The adobo de chancho is also amazing as well as the yuka fries. We discovered it last week and had to go again asap. The staff is also so sweet and attentive! Excited to have this spot in the neighborhood.
Lomo Libre Cantina offers a diverse menu with a focus on flavorful Peruvian cuisine. The Pisco cocktails are notably strong and well-prepared, setting a great tone for the meal. The Ceviche is fresh and flavorful, though it may be slightly spicy for some diners. The Chupe De Marisco, rated at 8-10, presented a delicious taste but could benefit from more fish, broth, and creaminess. Similarly, the Arroz con Marisco earned an 8-10 rating; while the clams and scallops were ample and flavorful, the dish was somewhat lacking in shrimp, with only two pieces served. Lomo Saltado was rated an overall 7-10. The sauce leaned towards a soy sauce flavor, missing the traditional aji panca, but the meat was cooked perfectly, and the rice was well-executed. Service was a highlight, characterized by excellent attentiveness and respect. Overall, Lomo Libre Cantina is a solid choice for a satisfying dining experience.
So worth the trip to the city. Every dish was flavorful, cocktails were not watered down and was fabulous and Govanni’s service was excellent. A total winner all the way. Glad I picked this Peruvian restaurant out of a whole bunch in the city. Highly recommend.
Recently had lunch at Lomo Libre and I was unexpectedly blown away. The staff and food were on point. It’s really hard to find good Peruvian in San Francisco but Loba Libra hits the mark. I had a queso Loma and it was stacked and filling. I wish it was closer to the mission but it’s damn worth the journey over!
Delicious food!! Friendly service and warm atmosphere. We came here to watch the US open and they put it on especially for us 🙂. Happy hour drinks and food are great and the main courses are reallllly good. Highly recommend!!!
This is our first time at this place. The server was very friendly and attentive. We were actually surprised how big the portions are. My husband had udon noodles with steak, and I had the El Toro salad with steak. We also had garlic fries. All 👍!!
Really loved the food here! They were slammed post festival crowd but we're still attentive and the food was amazing. Civeche incredible.

Super Yummy! Was craving Peruvian and I have been meaning to try this place and they delivered! Had the yuca fries, I had the seafood paella, bf had the pork and everything was delicious! Service was great! Ivan was super nice! Will definitely be back!

Great cuisine, delicious, freshly cooked upon order, portions are big, service is great. I would highly recommend this place! Bravo!
One of the best restaurant meals I have ever had. Limited seating for larger groups, but six of us went during happy hour on a weekday and didn’t have to wait long. Everything we had was exceptional. Cocktails and dishes thoughtfully prepared and tasty. We loved it.
Highly recommend. Food and drinks were the highest quality to go along with great service. We tried the chica sour for the first time and it was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the quinoa saltado bowl and I had the aji de gallina which was very flavorful. We finished with picarones for dessert which were very well made. Five stars all the way around.
Living in NJ we are very lucky to experience delicious Peru food, but Lomo Libre would make a killing in my neighborhood. The elevated dishes and sauces hands down is the best I have ever tasted. You can truly taste the quality of ingredients there is no short cuts in the kitchen. Continue success to the entire Lomo Libre team and please never change a thing. 👏👏👏
We had an absolutely splendid time last night at Lomo Libre. The food was truly outstanding and memorable. It wasn't particularly lively which was a bit sad as it merits a bigger crowd. They also had a nice selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic wines.
Lomo Libre serves up authentic Peruvian dishes that remind me of my grandparents! Every dish I’ve had has been delicious and well done. The ceviche always hits! My brother loves the tallarín saltado. You can never go wrong with a lomo saltado or ají de gallina. Folks working here are warm and friendly, too!

When these guys moved into our neighborhood and took over the location of Tres Underdogs I think many of us locals were thinking they were going to be similar to Underdogs. Immediately people were complaining about the prices being higher including me. What we failed to realize was this is not a taqueria/restaurant it's a nice Peruvian restaurant that just happens to also do burritos, quesadillas, burgers and fries but that's not the focus of the menu. Once Casa Barajas closed down I had no option but to give Lomo a try again to get my burrito fix. What the heck was I waiting for! I've had burritos all over this city and I have to say this is one of the tastiest burritos I've ever had. Seriously, it's packed with flavor and meaty of your choice. So far the steak and carne asada burritos are fire. I love their Cali Sunset burrito. The quesadillas w/ your choice of meat are not a side dish or a sharing item that is flat and cut into multiple pieces. They are a fat sandwich! And again packed with flavor. Their burger is also top notch. Especially when you add the rosemary bacon. I've been starting to frequent Lomo more to get my burrito or burger fix but realize this is not the focus of the menu and I'm excited to start trying out more items on the menu. The bar is a major upgrade from Underdogs with a great selection of quality booze and a fun cocktail menu. If you think the place looks a pricey that's because it's worth it just like any good restaurant that you will pay a little more at. But in saying that, $16 for a burrito is normal price just about anywhere and same goes for $16 for an 8oz delicious burger. Not expensive and worth every penny.

Wow found a Peruvian restaurant in San Francisco. Place looks very well put together however the combination of bar and restaurant doesn’t work for me I would like to eat my food without screeching music in the background all the time. The wait staff very nice and cordial. Let’s talk about the ceviche dish: the small portion of ceviche was overwhelmed with shrimps and a bit of fish. The fish taste very fresh and the lemon sauce was very good. They served fried calamari with a cold ceviche by that time I got my ceviche the calamari was soaked with the lemon juice. I will say is a no, no. They should add in a different way not to drowned in lemon juice. The corn was old as same as the Peruvian corn. For the price of 26 dollars they should rethink it how to served a bit more fish and less shrimp. I know shrimp is cheaper to overwhelm the plate but they can afford to spare a few more pieces of fish.
Exelente Peruvian Food, I recommend the Happy Hour Menu.
