Really simple Brewery and Taproom which lets the beers do the talking! Unfortunately we could only make a quick visit, although our game of giant Jenga got a bit intense! Would recommend the "Ricky Twists Fresh Hop IPA"!

Don’t when you Google reviews on this bar be put off by some of the pictures.This is an excellent bar. If the Crafty Fox up the road had not been mysteriously closed we would have not have chosen this bar. So glad we did! Great music,atmosphere,staff and most importantly beer. Have added my attempt to tempt you to a great bar.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Standard! This location has a nice open feel with rows of picnic tables to sit at. Tried a bunch to their beers and they were all delicious. The staff were genuinely nice as well.

This place is always high on my list of drop-ins when I’m in town. Fantastic atmosphere! Very neighborly, staff are super welcoming. And the BEER!!! Yum. Strongly recommend

Love this place. Wood beamed warehouse feel with a family and pet friendly atmosphere. It felt alive - definitely part of the community. Every beer style I tried was great. I paired the beers with an amazing brisket. Heaven.

How could you give it less than five stars! Warm welcome but brilliant beer and great place. Facilities were clean and all in all it just felt like such a good place to be and chill with a beer. Guy behind the bar was great sorry I didn’t get a chance for takeouts! Thanks though

July 2018: Came back for another City 🍺 Run. This time, I tried the IPA. (Unfortunately, they ran out of their hazy IPA. 😫) Overall, 🍺 was great. I also tried a sip of the Porter and that was SO good. Bumping up to 5 🌟. July 2017: Was here for a city 🍺 run. Had the callista pale ale and it was solid. They have 1/2 pints and samplers on the menu.

Amazing beers, they mean business with their beers now. The hefeweiz is amazing. Ofcourse their hazy IPA is amazing. The hazy IPA is an ode to dandelion cocoa nibs. The space is very airy and spacious. Lots of board games. The tasters are good to explore the beers on tap to decide what your want to eventually drink.

Kick Ass location right here. Spacious and airy. It has shuffleboard, pacman and some pinball machines too. The beer is high quality w/ no complaints on my part. I'd head back here again.

My partner and I hosted a "Welcome Drinks" event at SDB on the Friday of our wedding weekend. We wanted (1) a relaxed atmosphere to kick the weekend off, (2) kids to be able to hang, (3) centrally located in the city, and (4) not blowing our budget. The event was a total blast, and everything turned out even better than I'd hoped. We had about ~150 folks without issue. The mood lighting was perfect & the SD crew in the tuxedo tees were exactly the vibe we were going for. Folks had a great time chatting, drinking beers, and eating tacos. Coordinating everything over email with Mark was super easy, and the whole affair was super affordable, all things considered. I've always loved Standard Deviation for casual beers, and they made the whole private event thing a walk in the park too.

Mark and the staff are awesome. I hosted an event here and they were super responsive, easy to work with, and made sure we had a great time! Nothing but great things to say.

This is the most authentic brewery I’ve been to in SF. Great beer and very chill vibe, good mix of music, wooden tables, dogs and sports. Not seen many food options.

My husband and I tried several great beers while playing games (good selection) with our two teenage sons. You can order burgers from the guy grilling outside (which smelled great) but we decided to bring in some pizza and salad from Little Star and it was delicious.

I tasted the saison, the hazy ipa, and the tree people ipa - the hazy definitely was my favorite but wasn’t blown away by any of them! Will have to come back and try some of the barrel-aged options though!! Regardless it’s a great space and I would totally go back!

I tasted the saison, the hazy ipa, and the tree people ipa - the hazy definitely was my favorite but wasn’t blown away by any of them! Will have to come back and try some of the barrel-aged options though!! Regardless it’s a great space and I would totally go back!

I enjoyed their brews, only the Saison left a lasting impression. The Oatmeal Stout and Hazy IPA were decent but lacked a memorable factor. The ambiance and service were average. Worth a visit for the Saison, but overall, a mixed experience.
