V Cafe

Had the feta burger, was so tasty and had very fresh tomato, onion and lettuce with great fries. Really enjoyed this meal while on a break from uber/lyft!

I'm from back east.... And this is the closest thing to a real Philly cheese steak I found here in San Francisco.. the fish and chips are great too

I recently just discovered this place.. I must say.. I love this place.. The staff was so polite and friendly.. And then I ate the food.. Wow.. It is really good.. It is comfort food made to perfection.. I highly recommend this place...

My bacon cheeseburger w/garlic fries $16.50 was OK. It was a 1/3 pound patty, kind of dry. The meat was cooked correctly. There wasn't enough garlic taste in the garlic fries. Service was OK for an order at the counter establishment. The kitchen was fast.

Wonderful service with excellent food at cheap prices. You get the most bang for your buck here as compared to the other establishments within a 3 city block radius. The food was absolutely delicious.

Hundreds and hundreds of bacon cheeseburgers later I feel like I can safely say V Cafe is my most favorite food establishment in all of SF. That’s why I feel terrible for Grubhub refunding my entire order just now for some missing bacon. They could have just refunded the difference, but they processed the refund without asking. You guys have consistently been awesome, and I just wanted to say I’m sorry.

Greasy, yet delicious comfort food. They have burgers, onion rings, and an assortment of sandwiches. Good place to quickly grab something on the go.

Freshest deep fry oil in the Bay Area! I've only had delivery but the food was perfect. One of the worst things when having something fried is the taste of stale oil or of the dish that was fried just before yours. It's amazing how many restaurants, even some of the more pricey ones, fail in that regard. Not here and for that I thank you, V Cafe. The food was well prepared and the yummy waffle fries had just the right amount of salt. Delivery was very prompt as well. I'll definitely stop in if I'm around the neighbourhood. Less than $5 for a grilled cheese and fries done perfectly in San Francisco, can't beat that!

Good variety of steak cheese sandwich, speedy service and pretty much neat cafe. Try their garlic Fry's for sure, if you are not going to a meeting or seeing someone. The fish and chips is ok, but I had better ones around.

Classic Cafe food that tastes really really good. It would be great if they had the ability to do dining seating again now that everything is opened up but other than that the burger and fries are good.

Surprisingly good honey mustard sauce. Pricing is kinda wonky, make sure you order the exact right thing or it might cost much more what you are expecting. Pesto sandwich is tasty.

Good food and large portions. The fries were only warm, but not bad. I would go back again given the chance.

Good fried food cheese steaks to soak up the party. Not a lot of seats, but people move pretty quickly as they head to the next bar in the neighborhood.

I had the half chicken parmesan with the garlic waffle fries. The food is rather good and the portions are worth the price. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Big portions. 11.95 for a 12 inch sandwich. Buy canned sodas, the machine soda was no good. The sanwich was very good.

It is definitely a good quick place to grab a burger or cheesesteak. I'll be back. Prices were reasonable for San Fran too.

Always visit this burger joint when in CA . Great fresh cooked to order burgers with serious fries and of course washed down with a soda! The line is long but moves quickly and if you see a free table grab it!! Always busy but adds to the atmosphere.

Great little hole in the wall...conveniently located! Excellent sammiches...just a few too many choices. Simplify! The cheese steak sammich with waffle fries came out in less than 5 minutes! Highly recommend! One was enough to share between the two of us!

The only vegitarian meal options on the menu is a hot or cold veggie sandwhich, which contains lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, carrots, olives, celery, avocado, and vinaigrette dressing on a bagette roll (cold sandwich also has mayo and mustard, hot sandwhich has melted cheese, pictured). As far as I know they do not have a veggie burger patty. Beyond that, their waffle-cut fries are pretty good, and I'm sure their meat options are up to par, but their veg options have not been thought out.

Gone down hill from last visit pre pandemic. Lol. 2 stars for a great sized sandwich but dry. Ordered beef philly cheese sandwich was dry even with the onions, where's the cheese? A sliver against the bread doesn't count. Garlic waffle fries, they forgot garlic part... smelled garlic before leaving, got to office.. nothing. Sadness.

I ordered while I was on my way to the shop. Girl who answered the phone said it would take 10 min. I was only 4 minutes away. I got there and my food was already ready, super slow night. I ate at the restaurant and my food was super cold that you could see the grease on my fries. Grease was white. My sandwich was also very cold. Never again!!! No excuse. It was super slow

Way too greasy and not even real chesse on the cheese fries! For a fast food like that it was WAY too expensive! 1 Mozarella sticks + 1 Cheese Fries + 1 medium drink = 20,12 dollars !

Disgusting. Can’t believe they would serve expired and moldy edamames to their customers?? Absolutely horrible poke bowl as well, ordered yum yum sauce but got ranch instead. 0 stars, highly would not recommend this place especially for the price!
