Absolutely wonderful food!! The burgers are better than any we've had in the states! Fabulous customer service, clean restaurant, would recommend District MX to anyone traveling to San Jose del Cabo area. Thank you for a great dinner!
My daughter and I had lunch today and it was great! The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, with indoor or patio seating options. (We opted to sit inside, next to the open windows with a view of the ocean.) We ordered the short rib sandwich and the blackened chicken salad, and my daughter had churros for dessert. The dessert was very large for one person (four churros with four different dipping sauces), so we took half of them to go. Everything was fresh and delicious, and our server helped me identify many GF options.
Went here last night for dinner and WOWSERS !! BEST blackened chicken I've ever had! The service was awesome also! My dinner mate had the lasagna and said it was amazing as well! I was also very impressed with the covid measure they have in place. Top notch and well spaced out tables was a bonus ! Can't wait to go back and try the lasagna now !
Food and Service where incredible....Rocket Salad was delightful. Chicken could not have been better. The truffle meatball spaghetti was just perfection! Recommend to anyone to take the trip to San Jose Cabo and enjoy this great find!
Great local spot with excellent service and an amazing little menu. The burgers are excellent and the appetizers are also. The variety of food should keep most people happy and prices are average with some daily specials along with a happy hour from 4-6.
Great atmosphere with food and music. Party of 17 and heard absolutely no complaints and that everyone enjoyed the food and music!! Staff was super friendly and top notch service. Sharky was super helpful!! Highly recommend District MX Eat + Drink!
Super fun spot if looking for great American cuisine in Mexico. Top notch quality and creative menu. Lots of big screens for any sporting event.
This restaurant is excellent. We drive the 30 minutes from Cabo to San Jose just to eat there. We call it the Mexican Earls Restaurant. I believe it’s Canadian owner? Never have had a disappointing meal or service.
Always a great meal! Consistent. Interesting menu. Not just the usual stuff. We often get the Blacken Chicken Salad with avocado. It is a meal in its self. The Lettuce wraps are also another tasty way to keep it light. They go out of their way to ensure a great night. Sport TV, Casa Sheila Fundraisers... Last year, they even had the bean bag throw game to keep the kids occupied (and some adults! :O) . No Bean Bag Game this year with that darn covid. We also meet at the District due to the nice outdoor seating. The inside also has a great view area. They open the windows so wide, it feels like you are sitting outside. The waiters are friendly and professional. I notice they really work as a team. Local, Tourist alike love the District A great restaurant with great food and great vibes to enjoy your night out.
Awesome place. Been coming here for years. Gotta love the fries and gravy when you miss Canada.
Best sports bar in Los Cabos. Food is really good and so is the service. Beautiful bartender who was super fun and made great drinks. Host was fantastic. Definitely coming back here.
Always great food and service! This place is truly amazing and a gem to have so close to Campestre
Friendly service, good food, great cocktails, and fair prices. Lots of parking. We had excellent service from Sharky and Alex.
It was Saturday night and we had a reservation for four. Long story short when it seam to be a fail of a Saturday Francisco and all of the District crew made it worth every single minute since we got there. Francisco made everyone feel welcome and the service was second to none. Francisco and all the District crew deserve to be recognized!!! Definitely will be back to watch Boxing every time at the District!!! Cheers and thank you Francisco and all the crew at the District for making us feel special when I know for sure it was a super busy Saturday!!!!! Salud to all of you and specially Francisco!!!
Our party of 4 arrived for our reservation and were seated immediately. Sharky loooked after us superbly and the food was delicious. Tempura shrimp sushi rolls and edamame to start - burgers and jambalaya with beer and wine to finish. The food was delicious. The service superb and the atmosphere fun. Accessing the site is a bit of a pain but in the end did not detract from our experience. Highly recommend for an easy casual night out with friends
District is a great place to watch sports while sipping on your favorite beverage. The food is also great with a lot of choices. My favorite is the sliders. And the staff speak English as well as Spanish too.
The service at this restaurant was great! Every either our server or the manager, Sharky, came by every 10 minutes to check on us. The food and drinks were great and at the end of the night the bill was much less than we expected. We were there for 4 hours had 3 appies and 10 drinks and our bill was around $1600 pesos. We watched the Monday night football game and they had the sound on. The playoff baseball games were on as well. We will be going back before the end of our trip!
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner, our first time at District MX. Beers (nice and cold) and other drinks were excellent. Salads, chicken strips, and the rib dip were delicious. We will be back. Sharky is super friendly and gracious host. We will be back again this trip.
We absolutely love The District and ALWAYS visit when in Cabo! One of our favorites. The food is amazing, the staff equally great and the owners never disappoint with making sure the place is in top top shape. This trip we’ve been twice in the first three days, once for our friends birthday dinner and today for the most amazing “Sip and Paint” class. Every item we’ve had on the menu we have enjoyed, our favorite app is the the crispy fried ribs, the hummus is tasty, and street corn and avocado delicious- blackened chicken, Baja fish tacos, and chicken burger yum, honestly you can’t go wrong with just about anything on the menu though we haven’t tried everything (yet). And also a shout out to Hugo who is a fabulous server
I’ve been to San Jose del Cabo several times this year and eaten at District Mx multiple times each trip. The food is amazing - I’ve tried so many different menu items, LOVED everything I’ve ever ordered and can never decide what to have when I go back!!! This place is definitely a must go if you’re in the area - you will not be disappointed. Oh and don’t forget to try an espresso martini - I want one now!!! I highly recommend to anyone looking for yummy food, great service and a super fun time - can’t wait to get back there 😄
This is one of my family’s favorite places to eat or just hang out for a drink. The food is AA++. Everything on the menu is fabulous. They have a great variety of drinks. The staff is more then accommodating. I am a very picky eater, ask for changes on my dish and they aways make sure I get it just how I asked for it. Highly recommend this great place!!!
Wife and I dropped in for the Saturday showdown games. I’ll say that game enemies up being decent but the food, drinks and service were great. Had the wings, Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the salad. All were excellent. The prices are good for the area but the food quality was high. Drinks were excellent. They make all their own juices by hand. Finally we spoke with the owner and he mentioned they carry as many sports as possible. NFL was on the day we went, he mentioned nhl ufc, boxing nel Sunday ticket, so if you’re looking for sports this is your spot.
This place is hands down the best sports bar/ restaurant in Cabo. It has AC and reminds me of a good sports bar in the states. The poutine, chicken wings and really everything we had was straight fire. The prices are amazing and most of the staff speaks fluent English. I have absolutely no complaints and please do not listen to the Karen in the comment below.
This is a place you must go. The owners Dana and Michael will go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful and delicious evening. Staff very friendly, something for everyone. They even have poutine which was so yummy. Loved everything about this place
Leslie was the best waitress I have ever had. Food is good but she was outstanding!! I am definitely coming back and hopefully she is working. Came around noon on sunday june 2.
This is a great place and one I would thoroughly recommend if you are in this area. My husband and I were here on holiday during the Euros and, as keen soccer fans, eager to watch the semi-finals…we were so glad we stumbled across this place because it was absolutely perfect to watch the games and enjoy some good food. It is clean, modern, with a great food and drinks menu and, most of all, the staff are fantastic – so friendly and accommodating (especially Hector!), we could not have asked for more. Plus, there are a million screens so you are guaranteed to a good spot to watch the game!
I’m here for the second time during this year and it’s an amazing place. Beer, cocktails, meat, sea view is just great. Service is a top notch.
District MX Hosted our pre-wedding rehearsal dinner of 30 people and completely knocked it out of the park. First of all I want to send my biggest thank you to those who played a part in working with me as we were able to organize and put together a large dinner that went off without a hitch. An absolute massive thank you to everyone involved. In particular I want to compliment Dana for her ability to coordinate everything remotely with me and put up with my constant changes as well as be extremely helpful to details that kept changing its truly appreciated. She was able to work with the team and put together a perfect menu that left everyone very satisfied. The expertise of the management team has been nothing short of amazing. Also, I would like to send a special thank you to Sharky as he was able to manage everything within our event and it was perfect. There were a lot of drink orders and they never missed or messed up a single one, furthermore, Sharky and the team was extremely responsive to the needs for our party and were a pleasure to work with. The food was fantastic. Everyone was raving about how good everything was and truly satisfied with the portion sizes. Drinks were plentiful and the patio area they set us up in was perfect. Overall, everything was amazing. I just want to say thank you to everyone involved.
District MX is one of my favorite restaurants when we visit Cabo. The food is always fantastic, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is really fun! It's the perfect place to watch sports if that's what you're looking for. Our visit earlier this month was on my birthday. No one in our group told our server, Noé, but he picked up on my husband saying "birthday girl order first" and at the end of the meal brought out a piece of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and a huge sparkling candle! He also sang to me (great voice!). We've had him before and he's really good! I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
This is our 3rd time here this trip, Hector was our server and was awesome! Food was incredible and you can't beat the service. I have allergies and felt very confident that they understood and conveyed the information to the kitchen staff. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!!
Excellent food and service. Very tasty. Great selection of beers
Very friendly staff. Food is always good. We are never disappointed. It's one of our favorite places to dine. Clean restaurant and very nice atmosphere. They are very attentive and punctual and professional.
Great sports bar! Was very easy to watch NFL playoffs
We were here Jan 2020 and Nov 2020. Both times to watch the Seahawks Game with 3 teens. Great atmosphere and tons of tvs!! Everything we have eaten has been fantastic! Favorites are butternut squash ravioli, jambalaya, edamame, Philly Cheesesteak, Burger, NY Strip,, Sushi cone. Churros are must have also. Along with the best margaritas- both the hibiscus and jalapeno....LOVE! SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF... shout out to Sharky and Luis for great service! Must stop for a great meal (seriously, top 2 in the 10 days in Mexico!).
5 star sports bar…. Picked up the Family from the airport and District MX was our first stop. Everyone liked this place. Loved the wings. BBQ and the Hot Honey. French dip also a hit excellent. Oh and don’t forget the Chicken Caesar another favorite at our table. Great atmosphere. TVs everywhere. Easy parking. District MX for the win !
My wife had a very good Cajun Blackened Chicken which she could not finish. One of the servers came by and we asked for a "to-go" box. He must not have understood and took it away through it out. We asked our server about it...and he went to the manager who came by and apologized and took the meal off our bill. Amazing service. Highly recommend!!
As a local I come here at least once a week. I love the menu selection and everything I've had is delicious. I would highly recommend the Butter Chicken Curry and more recently the Nashville Hot chicken burger. Service is A+, very attentive polite staff. Beautiful ocean views, good music and clean casual dining. I recommend this place often to visitors and friends and have been told that "this was the best meal I've ever had' after splitting a butter chicken and Philly wrap with my bestie. If you haven't been before, you're missing out!
We ordered the hummus to start and this was not available. We had the edamame and this was good but too hot for me! My husband ordered a Cobb salad with tuna. There was too much dressing on for his taste and the tuna he asked for raw was overcooked. I ordered the butternut squash and prawn ravioli and the taste was amazing, it came cold though. Overall the service was great, my husband has a severe shellfish allergy so we have to be careful where we eat and that the restaurant understands the importance of this. This place definitely did. We would go back.
Wonderful menu options with an additional menu of items that they are testing. We had the chicken noodle lettuce wraps and Buffalo wing sauce cauliflowers for appetizers and I had the spicy tuna sushi tacos off of the test menu that made for a wonderful brunch and lunch. We had a great time watching the F1 race with some local Chetco fans, and Luis treated us wonderfully. Thanks, we'll be back for sure. PS great drinks too.
We come to Cabo every year and never miss coming here to eat good food and get excellent service. This place is fantastic to watch any sports on tv or to get delicious food. The entire staff is so welcoming and very attentive. We came today for our favorites; Tai Chicken Wings, Truffle Fries and Churros. JULIA was our server and she was outstanding. It was warm inside and as soon as I mentioned it to JULIA, she immediately turned on fans for us. SHARKEY always greets us and makes sure we are good. JULIA always was attentive and made sure we were happy. Food is delicious! Nothing bad on menu. Cooks to a wonderful job. Entire staff is friendly and so helpful. You must stop here while visiting San Jose, you will not be disappointed.
We've visited multiple times during our time in Cabo to catch the Oilers games. They are able to play any sporting event you could ever want to catch. The food and drinks are fantastic. Burgers, edamame and Thai green curry are a few favs. The service is fantastic! If you need to catch a game while in Cabo this should be your first choice!
I've taken friends to District many times, so when I needed a place for a party of 32 I called. We took over half of the dining area and had a perfect set up for a large group. The service and food were excellent as always, but I have to mention that Hector and his staff were at our table the entire time. He made sure each and every guest from the youngest, age 6 to the birthday boy turning 80 had everything they needed or wanted. Thank You Hector! Tony C
Any time I go to the San Jose or Drop off friends at the airport, I make I make it a mandatory stop. Huge location, extensive menu and great for sporting events. The Burger Royale is insanely good
I absolutely loved my visit to District MX! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was genuinely nice—they made us feel right at home. Every dish we tried was excellent, and honestly, the prices were so reasonable for the quality. Seriously, you have to try their amazing Street Corn and Avocado Dip; it was the star of the meal! I'll definitely be back on my sext trip.
Everything I had here was amazing. But you definitely have to try the fish tacos. Best fish tacos I have had in North America hands down.
Every time we eat here it’s just plain delicious, easy and fun. They have refined the art of an american sports bistro with elevated common sense delicious meals and drinks that can be eaten at any night of the week. Absolutely the best no nonsense no fuss cuisine.
We popped into this spot for a late lunch. A large group of people were just leaving so the hostess asked us to wait while they cleared the table. The menu selection had something for every pallette. We opted for the teriyaki bowl and jubalya. One word hits my tongue... Yummy! Super clean flavor and not too big. We washed our meal down with a cold mug of beer. Hit the spot! Reasonable price for what we were served. We'd go back again.
Decent wings. Live music 4 days a week. A real sport bar in San José
Best sports bar in San Jose. Lots of big TVs and a great view of the ocean. Great food and drinks. Nice patio too.
Went here to watch UFC 305. This IS a real sports bar with fantastic food. Also overlooks the ocean, seems newly built, nice atmosphere and location. No complaints here folks, 5 Stars fa sho.
District MX was the TRUTH! August 2022 is burger month and the burger I ordered was the absolute BEST burger I’ve ever tasted in my life! I also had some sticky crisp 1/2 honey and 1/2 Thai Asian wings with a corona beer earlier the same day.
Never had a bad dish here! The delicious baja style fish tacos come with cheese skirt, the shrimp sushi was battered with tempura and fried making it sublime! The chicken sandwich makes you feel like you are in heaven (see photo). They also have baja brewery beer on tap, peyote was my favorite. Happy hour from 4-6 everyday ranging from 20-25% of everything. Super sweet, cute and efficient waitresses. I could easily live off their food! Finally, they are good about their Covid19 protocol, my friend went outside to have a smoke and left his mask at the bar. They wouldn't let him in without a mask period! I appreciated that and was able to bring him his mask from the bar.
Lunch was delicious in an upbeat atmosphere. So many options to choose depending on what food you are craving. Something for everyone. Service by Alberto was quick and helpful. Overall great lunch experience and would recommend to try if you are in the area. For those looking for a working lunch the Wifi is fast and helpful.
Great place to watch the World Series. The New York steak with Cajun butter my husband had was great and my Baja salad was excellent. Attentive and friendly service!
Had the new guy, Marco, be our bartender for the OU vs Houston college football game. He did great... Though a cocktail guy - helped my wife choose her drinks - he did good with my tatting of the local beers. Food here is amazing! I had the ribs, the wife had the time - amazing dishes. Ordered wings as appetizer but weren't as impressed, and we could find a hot sauce for them that we liked. Would we go back... Definitely! 🍺tj

We had an excellent time at District MX. The staff, particularly Sharkie and Alex, were so efficient and hospitable. We couldn’t believe how good Sharkie was as a manager. He was giving the team great instruction and at the same time, was helping with dish removal and everything they needed. He also was taking pictures, we suspect for marketing. He may be the owner, but deserving of kudos either way. The food was delicious and the atmosphere so fun! What a game and so thankful we could watch it! Go Hoosiers!
Great place to hangout. They have butter chicken as one of their dishes which tastes amazing. Worth the trip for their drinks and cocktails.
The food, service and the atmosphere were great! We had lots of fun at this place. And the drink menu is wow!

Local spot for expats, well to do locals and bored housewives. Pricey food that is not at all worth the price but you don't go there for that, you go there because your friends want to go watch a game or just go out at a bar where you can actually talk and not need to shout.
A bit expensive but it was the only place nearby playing the NHL game, surrounded by big TVs, the service and drinks were great!
Definately a staple on the San Jose restaurant scene. Solid, well prepared, elevated dishes that never disappoint. Awesome burgers, a killer ramen and wonderfully fresh poke bowl are amongst our favorites. Service is always on point as well and they have a great outdoor patio area.
The food was great and staff was very friendly. Watched NFL football while on vacation and they had every game on a TV. Views were great
Good, food drinks and atmosphere. Reminds me of a Browns type restaurant/bar if you are familiar with the lower mainland of Vancouver BC Canada.
In from Chicago...being a tourist...visiting my friends that are here for the month. We met up with their local friends for happy hour. My friends had the hot wings - they really enjoyed. Atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and inviting. Good place to watch sports! Fun times!
They are finally getting it together and have made great progress with their customer service. When you order a top shelf drink, you should be treated like a top shelf customer. Food is really really good. A well rounded menu of bar classics and some very innovative items as well. Great place to watch multiple games at the same time.
Have always had great food & service here but today they slipped in a big way. Had a late lunch at around 2:45. My usual double smash burger w/ sliced apples etc was cooked absolutely perfect but I think they dumped the whole salt shaker on the patties as my tongue swelling is horrible. I also opted for onion rings instead of fries or salad and they were well beyond cooked. Please chat with the cooks Barrie as we love this place!!!!
Been 6 times in the last 2.5 weeks to watch sports games. Great atmosphere. The service can be slow when busy, but that’s expected. I’ve had the royale burger which was really good. The Caesar salad was good. Truckers sliders were really good too, but I’m pretty sure the “in-n-out” sauce was just mustard (could be wrong). The gyoza is phenomenal. A couple of the times I went and had just a coke while I watched futbol games during the day and they had no problem with that. The chocolate cake was pretty dense, it was ok, but won’t have it again. Tonight I had the chicken wings and they were really burnt and dry. (I’ve only had them once so it could have just been an unlucky batch). They have a great atmosphere and they have pretty much any sports game you want from Purdue basketball, to English premiere league, and American football. (All in English) the staff was great and I can say that Nadia was super attentive and helped make the experience wonderful on multiple nights. Will be back for the packers game this weekend for sure.
Food is more American than Mexican. It was good but not great. Service was attentive and accommodating and the location is a little noisy but the freeway. We ate outside and watched NFL on big screen which was comfortable.
Food was not the best. Fish and chips a bit dry and the chicken wings were dry as well. Very clean and staff was very nice and it was our conditioned! View was nice. We sat at the bar and watched tennis on the large TV. We'll try it again but order something else! Mezcalita was very good!
Very friendly fast service. English menus. We had wings as an happy....they were overcooked and crunchy, onion soup which was beautiful but really salty, and the district burger. The burger was the best part of the meal. Soft bun, fresh toppings and perfectly grilled. Vibe was fantastic.
After staying at our resort for a couple days, we wanted to venture out somewhere close without having to go all the way in town. This sports bar was perfect! Although the service initially started out slow, the food made up for it. We ordered a couple beers and a few appetizers. Every one of them was very good. Definitely a step above typical bar food! The tuna tostaditas were super fresh and held up really well in the wonton shell. The District Poutine with bacon - fries were still crispy under that gravy/cheese curd goodness. The cripsy dry ribs were very good but that parmesan dip made them great!

After seeing photos on the website and reading some reviews we decided to make the drive from CSL to this restaurant. My wife and I are Canadian and we’re missing our poutine fix so we were hoping this place was it. Arrived around 3pm and the place was fairly empty. Greeted and seated by a nice gentlemen. We ordered two margaritas. They were good and not overpriced. I did notice mine was around three quarters full and my wife’s was full. Only a small thing I know but bartender could have just put some more ice in mine and it would have looked right. Like I say only a small detail but in this business small things matter. My wife ordered chicken strips and asked to sub in poutine instead of the fries that came with it. I expected a upcharge of maybe three quarters the charge of the poutine, which is standard. However the waiter charges for strips and poutine but brings no fries with the strips. I order the poutine and 1 hammer slider as it is listed on the menu “Price per slider | 65 each” but the waiter says no they come as three. I point to the menu to where they are sold separately and he just stares at me. I say ok I’ll have the dry ribs please. I then order a Modelo on tap. I end up with some wheat beer. By the time I get his attention my meal is half done so I drink it. I love craft beer so that wasn’t so bad. The poutine was ok. A little over salted and the gravy was gelatinous. I think it was sitting under a heat lamp because the gravy almost had a cover if you know what I mean. Chicken strips were the best of three dishes. Dry ribs had an odd taste and were to dry. I know they are called dry ribs but could have used a little moisture. Dipping sauce for ribs again had an odd taste. Overall not a great meal.
The drinks are great and the food is above average with a great variety. It is expensive but my real problem with this place is the cell service. I have one bar with Verizon here. Which is typically not an issue because all restaurants have WiFi. But The District wants your email address to let you use their WiFi. Can’t wait until the wise up on that decision.
I like to tip well ONLY if the waiter deserves it but this guy never came to check on us. We got our appetizer after our main course and the green curry tasted like chickpea soup with absolutely no coconut milk flavor. The place promotes itself as having the coldest beer in baja and we were disappointed with their draft beer which was cold but not the coldest we’ve ever had. Several issues with the food and also several issues with the meal. I still tipped 10% and I was being generous. The worst was when he saw the 10% and gave me a dirty look and left angry after running my card
American style bar filled with Canadians/American's near San Jose. They play most NHL/NHL/MLB games. American bar food. Nothing spectacular but nice to visit if there's a special sporting event playing. Otherwise it doesn't feel like you're in Mexico. Service was slow and we had to get out servers attention several times. We ended up ordering 1 drink each and leaving.
I had high hopes, based on the reviews but this restaurant is just okay. And the customer service wasn't the best. The upcharge is ridiculous. They charge 30 pesos to cook your burger well done. Of course this information isn't made known to you beforehand. And my burger wasn't even cooked properly! Also the menu that's in English doesn't have accurate food descriptions. The food presentation was 10/10 The food was 6/10
I had high hopes, based on the reviews but this restaurant is just okay. And the customer service wasn't the best. The upcharge is ridiculous. They charge 30 pesos to cook your burger well done. Very disappointed with the taste of the food! We went for lunch as the menu spanned multiple cuisines. We have ordered hummus, Thai green curry, teriyaki rice bowl, savage mango drink. Hummus and savage mango drink were good. Thai green curry and teriyaki rice were very very bland and did not taste good at all!

Usually excellent btoday, no service. How long shoukd one wait just to get a menu?this was a horrible bar tender i waited and waited for a beer. Them gad to begfor a menu. We tipoed big $400. Pesod. Dpstill had to beg four times for a shotof brandy. No i am not tge woman with big cleavage dripping in sikver jewelry. But we have beeb regukar customers. So i am ignored. Next time i will go where iget service.
Ordered so many times over the years and paid a premium. Never once was order correct. No salsa-ever but smeared over everything. Grilled onions were raw. Skimpy truffle fries. Warm Coke. Undercooked meat. The coup de grace was the grilled cheese sandwich, with no cheese. I paid but will never patronize this establishment.
We went there at 3:15 on a Thursday afternoon (January 15th). Ordered a few drinks and a burger and tuna tartare (this was an appetizer). There were two tables when we sat down & two came after us. The drinks came out promptly, but after waiting 30 minutes and all the other tables had been served , I inquired where our food was. No apologies or explanation. 15 minutes later - still no food. So I asked for the check & told them why (still no apologies) - paid for the drinks - which any other establishment would have comp'ed & left. Not until we were literally out the door the manager came after us and apologized and tried to give me a voucher for 100 pesos ($5 US) for next time. I just looked at him and laughed. If you go there - you have been warned. I don't know if the food is any good (as we never ate) but the margs were weak. This place should be shut down just due to lack of decent service !
