Absolutely fantastic from the staff, to salad bar, to the selection of food and drinks. Booked a reservation a few months out for my family following my graduation from SJSU and they delivered! Highly recommend, especially for a celebration dinner after your commencement from State.

Servers are very attentive they will make sure to ask what person if they wanted to have some meat. Other Brazilian Steakhouses don't bother to come back if they run out of meat for the while party. We got to try all the meat they had available and everything was delicious. Drinks were filled constantly and I love the way they treat their patrons. We love this place! I'd say best Brazilian steakhouse house in the bay area! It doesn't try too hard to be fancy like some other restaurants. Prices are reasonable. Family oriented. They don't charge for toddlers like in some other fancy-wanna-be Brazilian steakhouses. Very friendly staff. Great meat and salad options! If you love steak and live in the SF bay area, this place has your name written all over it! Don't think twice.

Definitely a most go if you are starving because they serve a lot of food. The waiters were all friendly and efficient at their jobs. The salad bar is full of options, they bring in quite a selection of meats to choose from chicken/pork/beef and even fruit. The staff did an amazing job serving my 10+ party last time we went and I will bring my family in soon.

Home away from home. Loved this place. Being a Brazilian I can say that this place it's really authentic and follows the tradition perfectly. The food was amazing and the service so friendly. All you can eat meet for just 29.95 is totally worth it. Plus some cheese bread and polenta sent right to your table is just amazing.

Very unique. The buffet area alone is amazing with quality food of unique flavors. But the variety of meats that are brought around consistently are incredible! WARNING: if you want to have room for the meats, go easy on the buffet at first :)

This continues to be our favorite place to eat dinner at in San Jose. We waited years this time, and it was just as wonderful an experience as we remembered. The atmosphere is elegant, the meat is amazing, and all the salads and side dishes are worth trying. My favorite this time was the mango salad.

I just visited Taurinus Brazilian steakhouse for the first time. I'm not sure how I've missed it for so many years. We were part of a group of 10 people that was accommodated efficiently and quickly. Their prix fixe menu makes group events simple and budget friendly. I enjoyed all their various meats, especially the beef ribs. The salad bar is outstanding and could be a meal in itself. They serve some amazingly flavorful appetizers; it would be too easy to fill up on them before the meat courses. In short, I love the place and would be very happy to go back again soon.

It was a little different from other places in it's organization, which was interesting. The place is beautiful. Staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Prices are in line with what you would expect for this type of dining in the Bay Area. The meats were well prepared and of good quality. They also had a pineapple, which I think is a must, but other more known places do not.

A wonderful experience here for Father's Day. staff was incredibly attentive and service was just amazing. All of their meat was very good. Also loved that their drinks were not too sweet. A family friendly place as well -- accommodated my two boys, who left completely full and happy after tasting 10+ kinds of meat. Really worth it for the price.

We hit up this restaurant when we were trying to find a nice place to eat near Hyatt House San Jose Airport. After we stepped in the restaurant, we were immediately happy with the ambience. It's spacious, relatively quiet and they have a large salad bar in the middle. When we started eating, they offered a variety of meat very quickly. The steaks were pretty juicy, and chicken and lamb were pretty flavourful. The service was great as well. They kept offering different kinds of meat without any repetition while we flipped the card to green. Towards the end, they offered pineapple and it tasted very delicious. It was fresh and the cinnamon flavour was right on point. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Although it might be on a more pricey side, we felt the experience was definitely worth it.

Wonderfully authentic Brazilian steakhouse. The meat was fabulous, real wood flavor, juicy and tender. Of course the sides were great too, loved the grilled banana, pineapple and pão de queijo 🤌😋 delish!

The meats come out hot, tender, and perfectly cooked. There’s a lot to choose from and you’re never waiting very long for food. There’s also a salad and condiment bar that has a lot to choose from. This is definitely a restaurant for almost anybody even vegans. There’s relatively cheap parking across the street in a parking garage and free street parking after 6pm. It’s not cheap but worth the prices

The service was great and we were a party of five. They specialize in steak and there are many tasty vegetable sides. The cocktails are also lovely. The entire menu is a la carte, but the sides are generous enough to serve several people. We ordered individual cocktails and meat dishes, but we shared several appetizers, sides, desserts and a bottle of wine between the whole table. It's a great place for a special occasion.

Unbelievably good food...OMG! My 2nd time eating here and it was even better than the first time. Who knew tri-tip could be stuffed with cheese?!? And filet mignon wrapped in bacon!!! Everything was cooked to perfection and was incredible... omg Really– Oh My God... best Brazilian steakhouse in the area👍

Highly recommend!!! Let me start by saying this probably one of the best dinner experiences I have enjoyed. The restaurant has a very pleasant upscale environment and the staff is absolutely AMAZING and do welcoming, they are always coming around and checking on your needs. So if you select the main course experience, the restaurant will bring it all their different selections and cuts of meats. Everything is fresh and with wonderful presentation. The salad bar which I had was superb with do many choices and the icing on the cake is their desserts. You have to try the dulce de leche and chocolate lava cake. Everything left more then satisfied and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!!!

A fan of this place! My husband and I arrived on a rainy Wednesday. We had reservations but they weren't needed on this day (not sure how much traffic comes through on a weekend, but on this weekday it was pretty scarce). Con are I would imagine they did not have their FULL menu as a weekend day. Huge Pro are we had plentiful options and those meats kept on coming quickly. They stock a pretty good salad bar. The cheese bread were delicious. I enjoyed the grilled pineapple. Good break from all the protein. Really enjoyed their chicken hearts. I liked how the servers cared to ask how we like our meat cooked, so they could cut the appropriate meat for us. The food was good. The service was courteous. It was a great dinner. I'm glad they have this option in DTSJ. I would definitely return here.

One of the best steakhouses I have been to! Excellent service, such a variety of different meats and they come out so quickly, you aren't spending time just waiting for food to come out. You definitely get your money's worth of options and food quantity! The food was excellent, I like my steak well done, they quickly came out with well done meat for me. I came with a baby (10mo) and they were so helpful and kind, overall my family and I had an excellent experience and I highly recommend it to all my friends.

We come to this place whenever we are celebrating a life event. Unlike any other Brazilian Steakhouse, this is a small family business, and they really bring out the authentic Brazilian flavors and cultural feel. The staff is not just friendly, but extra accommodating and hospitable. Don't miss out! I believe it's around $50-60/person, but there's enough food to fill you up. Make sure to have a very light lunch, to really enjoy their dinner.

Had dinner there this evening and have never been before. It’s good. Food was great, service was excellent. We never wanted for anything and the food just kept coming. It’s a little pricey but it is all you can eat so just bring a big appetite. I’d gladly go again.

This place always surpasses my expectations everytime. Always friendly and filling. Best meats around and vanilla/peanut butter ice cream pie slice that is out of this world.

It is very expensive but delicious. Skip the rice, the vegetables and anything in "buffet area" and turn the sign green. They will be bringing out a variety of meats ranging from beef, pork, chicken, and goat on rotation. If you keep the sign green, you will be overwhelmed and run out of plate space.

This was our first time here and it's now called Show De Carnes, there was a steady flow of patrons due to it being Valentine's day. The food was good, the service was as good as to be expected and it wasn't as romantic as it could have been because of the bright lighting. I would go again on a less busy day.

Went in around 6pm on a Wednesday, no problems with free street parking. And was immediately seated, called for reservations but many seats appeared available at that time regarless. Food was lovely, my favorites were the pork loin with parmesan, cheese bread, beef ribs, fried plantain, picanha and grilled pineapple. Service was top notch, was constantly checked on to see if the food was ok, any additional drink needs and the meats presented were very fast for the buffet. Atmosphere was good, the place was great for group conversations l. Not noisy at all and great to relax at.

The shrimp was amazing, and the grilled pineapple was heavenly. I'm not big on the location and hope they relocate. I feel like it's a hidden gem.

My family and I head over to Taurinus and satisfy our craving for the juiciest and mouth watering selection of roasted meats, grilled pineapple in addition to an inviting and delicious salad bar that keeps you coming back for more. Dont even get me started on their yumilicious Brazilian cheese breads! They are to die for 🤤 The facility, service, staff and overall experience … absolutely amazing and highly recommended!!! All the cuts of meat were excellent! And the staff was superb! Not once did we have to flag someone down for any more meat. Everyone was so eager help. I did not take advantage of their excellent salad bar and side dishes because I wanted to enjoy the meat. Definitely the best Brazilian restaurant in town❤

Taurinus Brazilian Steakhouse was quite a mouthful. Lets be upfront and say it is expensive but as long as you're prepared for that in advance and you're up for it you're going to have an excellent experience. Its all you can eat meat and salad. You self serve the salad and some sides whenever you feel like it and the waiters bring you meat on the skewer as they make their rounds. You can have as much meat as you want but you take a portion at a time. They cut it on the skewer and you hold it with tongs (see my video). The meat is absolutely delicious, awesomely seasoned and beautifully cooked. The staff are all friendly and accommodating of special needs and earned a significant tip from us.

My mouth is watering just thinking about the flavors of all the different meats offered. Our guests said the appetizers were delicious. In recent memory, I can truly say I have not had a better dining experience. From 'hello' to 'good-bye', this place was inviting, warm and overall an amazing experience. The food was incredible (their sirloin and roasted pineapple was particularly awesome), and everyone we met was accommodating and friendly. I won't go too in-depth into how the servings are set up, but rest assured there are PLENTY of delicious options We're not from the area, but this place gets the highest of marks from my girlfriend and I, and you can guarantee we're recommending this place to everyone that comes through the area.

Friendly staff and a bunch of tasty meat. I enjoyed every thing I tried. The standout for me was the sausage and the flank steak. The rest of my table also enjoyed their meals. The salad/appetizer bar was well appointed as well. For drinks, I only had Ice Tea (which if you've seen my reviews is probably shocking lol), but the glass was basically always full, and I can't ask for more than that.

Good food...short staffed so service wasn't great but wasn't terrible either..we were onto dessert before the ribs came out. Lots of large crowds (including ours) made conversation difficult. Enjoyed this steakhouse more than fancier and more expensive chain one.

There was an unpleasant smell at the entrance...like...restroom. Despite of that, the food quality was not bad. Also, it was fun to try those Brazilian barbecued pineapple. The salad bar was also full of great options, from Brazilian Chicken Salad to hams, etc. The servers were nice too. Friendly and professional. Overall, a positive experience there.

Service was excellent and very accommodating to us. The choice of food items during lunch was a lot more limited compared to dinner but we still had a good time. the salad bar at the center is a good selection of vegetables and fruits and other items you would typically find in a salad bar. the appetizers and Brazilian bread were also quite delicate and sweet.

I liked the food. Best thing was actually the salmon with capers. Next best thing we're the bananas. I think I sampled all the meats that they brought to the table. Good, but not great, so 4 stars instead of 5. I also got the creme brulee, which was good, but again, not 5 stars. The manager came to our table to chat and was friendly.

Had a team dinner here. Great fun experience overall, meat was overall great, salad bar is good (but who comes to a Brazilian Steakhouse to eat salad...) one problem I knocked down one star is this place doesn’t know how to cook lamb. It offered at least 2 kinds of lamb but none of them taste good. It has a weird texture to it and it was too raw sometime.

Delicious food. Atmosphere is good if people don't bring too many kids. For some reason, people like to overcrowd this place. Last time I was there there were 3 different parties with all kinds of kids. The way people let they kids run rampant, bugs me. Wait time, even if you have reservations. Enjoyed a nice dinner here. If you have been to a Brazilian steakhouse this one will not let you down. The service was great. The selection was decent on the meets. Although the one cut I wanted to try they do not do anymore. The price was on par to other steakhouses.

Fun! Good experience went for lunch which is less expensive. Think we finally tasted all 8 meats. Go light on the very nice Salad Bar, save room for a sample of all 8. We split a sausage and each ate half of that nothing special for us. The 2 pork choices were a south tip and an amazing pork loin encrusted in Parmesan!! I also liked the beer battered wings. I have no ideas if the lunch menu is different daily or not. Nice atmosphere. Nice bar menu.

Oh man, so good! And this visit was perfect timing, because the beef rib came around 5 minutes after being seated! It does not come around very often, trust me. It's the best meat they offer. Second best is the top sirloin, which was also very nice. They didn't have a rare piece this time, however, but that's ok. Chicken wings and pork ribs are delicious! Shrimp is the next best. Garlicky and well-cooked. Kind of messy since you peel it at the table. Pineapple is usually very sweet, this time slightly sour, but not their fault. Other items good, but not as good: parmesan pork, Brazilian sausage, ribeye. Oh, and can't forget about the multiple servings of cheese bread (pao de queijo). Hard to stop at one! Didn't even have room for dessert this time. Or salad. July 2023 update. This time wasn’t quite as good as the past. Maybe it’s because we had reservations when they first opened and they didn’t cook enough meat yet. But the selection of meats coming around was small. It was still very tasty though. And they (added?) some seafood to the salad bar: mussels and some type of fish. Either that or I never noticed. Try the bbq’d pineapple. It’s a nice change of pace. Service was excellent. The servers work really hard. Nice cozy atmosphere.

A good value for a wide selection of all-you-can-eat tasty meat, courteous and prompt service, but don't count on the salad bar. Meats - the flap steak was a standout for being so flavorful, but the best item was probably the bacon-wrapped chicken with mindblowing flavor and juiciness. Ironically, the bacon-wrapped beef wasn't great because it was a bit chewy and dry. The ribeye and filet were decent for being standard fare, but the lamb, picanha, and beef ribs were a bit too tough and didn't taste as good. It seems that they are on-point with the white meats, while the red meats can be hit and miss, but overall still good. Salad bar - this was a pretty sad salad bar. Despite having a decent selection, some of the items were sitting out and visibly soggy. I only found the Greek (cucumber) salad and the black beans to be decent. But hey, you don't go to a steakhouse for salad. Atmosphere - we went on a Sunday night and it wasn't crowded or noisy. Never had to wait too long for the meat carvers to swing by our table and ate as long as we saw fit.

OK experience. Initial wine serving was a little rough. No bar to sit while waiting. I didn't get any filet mignon or other rare meats but repeat of others and plenty of pineapple. I would want the server to ask if any meat was not served vs rotating the same. Great quick spot if on a brain date but you have to be direct 😉 👍. Stopped in during nvidia GTC and not a bad place! Fogo de chao has my heart however still haha 😄

I only selected beef and shrimp. Sirloin was a bit disappointing, everything else was quite good. Partner also took.chicken hearts, whish were good (better than other places we ate). Salad bar was just OK, but it is not the focus anyway. Price was $70 per person for dinner, which was not listed anywhere. This is regular price for such restaurant. Our water was refilled very often, and wait staff were very attentive.

The meat is quite good but it’s really too salty for me. That’s the only drawback that I gave them a 4 stars. They have a good premium meat options. My favorite one is Filet Mignon, it’s the best and very delicious. Other options are ok. The owner or manager told us that they use charcoal to make the meat so it can be a plus though I don’t smell the meat much of charcoal though. The service is really really good. Very nice people.

We went on a thursday night, the restaurant was about 10% occupied. We went with the $70 full experience($50 one was not available anymore) , didnt go for $155 wagyu option. They have a salad bar and some hot food in the corner. The beef were mostly overly salted, i can scrape off quite a bit of salt grains with my knife. Didnt have any lamb options served so we asked and got one lamb chop

In A Nutshell: -Taurinus Brazilian Steakhouse is a top-notch restaurant. -You will enjoy all of the premium meats: sirloin, flap, ribeye, beef ribs (my fave), bacon wrapped chicken, shrimp, lamb, sausage + more. -The chocolate lava cake is especially delish for dessert, its very rich & big enough to share. -I like the ambiance & cozy size, not too big or small. -The salad bar is good too which balances out the yummy meats. Overall, the staff is very kind & food was mouth-watering!

There were a lot of options here, but none were truly outstanding. The sirloin was the best of the choices. I don't understand how you can make bacon-wrapped filet mignon tough and chewy. The salad/side bar was very underwhelming, and the key starch was rice. They were quite friendly and welcoming with a good rotation between choices. We really wanted to like it more especially for over $100 a person but it was just ok.

Went here for a company lunch and I cant say I was impressed. First off the tables are so close together that you have no room to move without bumping into the table(s) near you. I felt like a sardine in a can. Because they packed so many people into a smaller space it was to loud and I couldn't even here the person 2-3 seats away. As for the food, well that left something to be desired as well. Everything I tried an the buffet bar was cold an unappetizing and in regards to the all you can eat meat, on this particular day at least all the Sirloin was served rare to just barely med rare, which is way too bloody for my taste. Chicken was served on the bone and if you like dark meat was probably suitable. Pork ribs didn't have much meat. The parmesan pork cubes and the red wine sirloin cubes were cooked well and had good taste. Servers didn't come around as much as I thought that they would so unfortunately for me only having two meats to eat and the few times servers came around left me leaving hungry and unsatisfied. I am just thankful that I didn't have to pay for this meal.

Saturday morning placed online reservations for two @5:30pm Arrived at 5pm. There was plenty of parking spaces on all of the side streets at this time. The restaurant had a line out the door but were seating people quickly. We were seated at 5:15. First time here we were not sure what to do. They will assume you know and will let you sit there until you ask. Basically, you go get a plate and wander around the island bar picking up items buffet style. When you are back at your table there is a rotating wheel that is green and red. If you have it on green the waiters will bring skewers of meat for you. If red, they will pass you by. The place filled up very fast. Pros: 1. Everything is very good. 2. Fast and friendly. 3. Price was comparable to other restaurants of this type in the area (FogoDC), but better in my opinion. Cons: 1. They don’t explain the process to you. 2. Single men’s and a single woman’s restroom. You’d be better off pissing out back. 3. The tables and chairs are so packed in that you are constantly banging into the chair behind you. It’s impossible to walk straight to where you want to go. So hard to navigate around tables and people you don’t even want to get up. I don’t know the occupant fire code but it has to be at the limit or above. Overall opinion: I would go again. 5 stars for food quality. Poor restroom accommodations and lack of explaining the process is a big part of the experience. That is why I rate it 3 stars.

Good overall. Meat of high quality, good cuts and appropriately cooked - 14 choices. Staff was great. Sides were ok, but did not feel fresh - rice was good. Ambience was below average, the restaurant had a stuffy smell and most food had a bit much salt. Even though not bad, for 60 dollars per person I’d expect better. Good for a special or fun night out, not good for a date. I particularly liked the lamb and the cheese bites. Overall, I would not mind going again, but would probably prefer nearby alternatives, e.g. Pampas.

Mixing feelings about this review. I have been to Taurinos multiples times for the last 4 years. I have always enjoyed there. Tonight the experience was different and not in a good way. I noticed that the quality of the service has gotten down, and to my sadness the quality of the meat has gone down as well.

Food was pretty good. I like the pineapple alot but it would have been better with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Service was a bit disappointing. The meat servers were good but the waiters were not attentive at all. They rarely checked on us. Overall, I'm not impressed. I prefer the other Brazilian restaurants like Texas de Brazil or the Galpao place in Cupertino.

It was a nice experience - the last time I had been to a churrascaria was a few years ago in Austin, and it had left such a lasting impression on me that I was excited to relive it in San Jose. However nothing out here compares to the meats you get in Texas - some of the meats served were too salty and dry. The chicken, on the other hand was delicious and juicy - the sirloin was great too! The lamb was cooked the same way as the beef so it lacked the distinguishing taste and felt a bit chewy. The service was great! Not sure if I would come back here in a hurry - we spent nearly 250 for a party of 3 - the quantity was worth it, but not the quality.

I visited with my son to kick off my Mother's day weekend celebration and the food was "ok". Great service, very delicious rice and beans. Their meat was "ok" however. Nice restaurant, good location. I had a caipirinha and I asked to please prepare it with a greater touch of sugar (I like them sweet) and they just ignored my request. Mine and my son tasted the same not sweet at all😂 I asked for a cup of ice on the side for my water. I got my water and no ice I had to ask again. But they were very kind. I may come back it was an "ok" experience. Pricey!

I liked their salad bar, not over stuffed, but good enough varieties. Their steaks are good, just very strong smoked flavor, not my preference. The restaurant is kind of crowded feeling, lucky it was not having too many people when I was there.

We went on a Saturday so I'm assuming this is the best they can do. If you can't get a reservation for Fogo or Galpao, this is not a fallback: switch cuisines or move your date. The rodizio service had one or two decent meats, but the majority was either heavily salted, stale, or both. A bit less variety than you'd see at other places, perhaps. The sides (cheese bread/pao de queijo, fried plantains, etc.) also gave the impression of being older, which is a quality you'd expect and forgive from only the salad bar. Our go-to dessert for a Brazilian steakhouse (if available) is the papaya creme, which usually is sweet, cold and a bit softer than soft-serve ice cream. Continuing the theme of the night, here it was closer to room temperature, with a grainy texture and a lingering bitterness that was completely unexpected. Service started off nicely, but we picked up a new server halfway through who was disinterested in why we were staring in an almost completely full glass of dessert while waiting for a somewhat delayed bill. At least the people serving the meats were friendly and did well.

Scammed out of the gratuity when there wasn't 6 people in my table. Don't bother since they don't honor. Waiter, you need to refund me

I want to warn anyone that eats here. This place is disgusting. The wait staff are rude, the food is mid, and it's way over priced. There are alot of other Brazilian steakhouses you can give your money to. AVOID THIS PLACE.

This place let me down meat quality is horrible re heated meat from the day before . 177 waste of money . Salad bar sizzler has better selections . Workers were the worst from the person who cuts and cooks meat to the servers . No wonder it was empty on a Friday. dnt waste your time and money here . I give it 0 starz . We always have our company dinners here with a large crowd, but not this year, sorry

Shamless staff, taking advantage of people!! Read below: On Sunday, a friend went to Taurinus with two of her friends (three women). They sat down and ate three dinner rodizio's. They were charged 20% for a "large party" although there were only three in their party and a large party states this is for parties of six or larger. No problem, they paid the 20% added gratuity. This issue is the wait staff then came and shamed them into paying more gratuity. My wife stated that she felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. My wife stated that the receipt showed gratuity was already added, but the wait staff stated otherwise. They ended up paying another 20% ($50 cash) on top of the 20% they already were charged.

The salad bar sucks! So does the wine menu. The meat quality is also subpar. But I guess you pay a lot less than any decent steak house here. So if you want quantity over quality for cheap price, this is your place.

This was my first time at this location, prompted by a promotion we saw on their Instagram page. I live in San Mateo and frequently visit the Palo Alto location, which has always exceeded my expectations, so I thought I’d give this new spot a try. Unfortunately, it left a poor impression. First, the space is very small and doesn’t live up to the usual Show de Carnes standards. Then, my husband found a large dead fly in his food. I immediately called the server, who took the plate away. The manager came over to apologize and assured us he would “take care of it.” I assumed he meant the bill, but I was wrong. He offered a complimentary dessert worth about $10. For a restaurant known for its high standards, this “solution” was underwhelming and disappointing. To make matters worse, we both experienced food poisoning. Additionally, parking is difficult, and the surrounding area doesn’t feel particularly safe. All of this to say, I won’t be returning to this location. And to the manager: a free dessert is not “taking care of it.”
