I got vegg pizza, the veggie toppings like onions, red, green peppers and jalapeños. The thick tortillas-was used to make it, but it was not too thick to hold all the toppings. Prices are high since it’s a airport restaurant
I had the chicken sandwich !!! They double toasted and thankfully added a generous amout of fresh toppings to my baguette
The vegan pizza here is amazing! Huge kudos to Ruben for his exceptional service. He was incredibly respectful of our vegan preferences, taking the extra care to change his gloves and clean the knife before serving us—all with a warm smile. Thank you, Ruben! You’re truly outstanding!
Went to get breakfast before our flight. I went first with my daughter and got 1 mallorca and 1 croissant sandwich. The male associate, I think his name was Juan, had a great personality. He heated up my 2 sandwiches (we don't eat anything cold). Then my husband goes to get the same, but this time, the associate, whose last name is Perez had a bit of an attitude and said she couldn't heat sandwiches because the oven wasn't working. So, my husband left without food. A few minutes later, the male comes back, so I ask him if I buy a sandwich, if he could heat it up. He said, Of course! We ended up spending almost $90 thanks to an associate that knows about customer service.
A lousy chicken sandwich for $16 and a bottle of water for nearly $7. Calling it robbery is no exaggerating. Avoid this dark joint at all cost.
Alimentos demasiado caro y de mala calidad.
Alimentos demasiado caro y de mala calidad.
It’s 16 dollars… for a croissant. 1 piece of cheese. 1 slice of turkey… 16 dollars.. and it’s old and moldy.. pure trash.. probably the worst restaurant on the island.
Absolutely HORRIBLE food to go. Fresh was NOT even close. Gross at the gate. Yuck! Expensive garbage to say the least
The sandwich cost 18.00 and when it was being made, the women barked at me that I “Only get 3 toppings!” She was rude and not even slightly helpful. Avoid this place.
Very bad slow service, high prices and big menu in the screen but 2 things in the kitchen, and the employees don't care about the business. I'm sorry for the owners. And it's the same at every aiport.
Prix exorbitants 7$ pour 1 eau et un Kit Kat le magasin le plus cher du monde un vol organisé puisque aucun prix n’est affiché., ATTENTION
Besides the $18 sandwich with only chicken available, the staff was super rude. We live on the island and will never go here again.
No tienen los precios y 17 dolares un sandwich mediocre. Products do not have the prices on them and 17 dollars a mediocre sandwich.
Worker was rude and lazy we went up to the line after them being open for 15 minutes and he said that he was taking care of the last two people and that we have to walk to the other side to their other location
Wish no stars was a selection because I would use it to rate the girl at the register with the red in her tattoo that as her best rating. Or, even give her a ZERO if that was an option...telling me that "the manager takes his time to wait on customers." (Now, do with that what you will.)
Unacceptable that they only have one person working. The price are also out if the world. The photos do not represent the true price. They need to be changed to the present situation. One water, one juice, a muffin and a quesito. $28.00. Wow. Not only that the muffin and quesito where not even fresh…. Common owners where is your self of ethics????? I expect a reimbursement for the muffin and quesito!!!! If i do I’ll post it here, if I don’t post anything, well readers you know the level of ethics of the owner of this business…..
“Not great at the gate”. Terrible for $12+ dollars. No other choice. Should have just eaten overpriced peanut m&ms. At least it would have been good.
Bad, cold and expensive. One sml coffee, one quesito, corn muffin and mayorca; $28.90 will not happened again! Refused to warm up my corn muffin and quesito knowing that it was cold as ice. Terrible. Will go down in due time.
Worst airport food experience of my life. $17 for one piece of Turkey and terrible bread. Airport should take some accountability and fix this. Brutally bad all around.
Atrocious service. Cashier didn't serve us at the counter and then when we didn't have the ticket at the sandwhich bar, refused to serve us and kicked us off the line. Avoid this place unless you want to get ripped off.
Lazy cashier did not want to toast a $12 croissant 🥐. ridiculously expensive and poor service. Ridiculo de negocio es un total scam.
This place advertises that it has vegan pizza. I ordered it, paid for it, then finally the guy actually making the food says that "the vegan pizza is not really vegan". It had mozzarella in it, i.e. dairy. what on Earth are they doing?
$12.75 for a Marketplace Gustito’s croissant sandwich with ONE slice of cheese and a slice of turkey. Bread was dry. I get the kiosks have to pay rent but come on… that price for a scrawny dry sandwich is insane. Definitely not buying again.
This place and its employees are TRASH!!!! They should be ashamed of how they conduct business. 2 sandwiches and a pizza were over $65. I asked to have veggies added to my fresh made, all meat pizza and was declined. Shortly after, I saw them make a specialty pizza for themselves. FREE! Right when the shift changed! And the audacity of being ugly and rude! Both of them!
It should be illegal to charge the amount of money being charged for the quality of food being sold. The fact that you get a low-grade hospital cafeteria style sandwich for $20, served to you cold from the one employee, means the profit margin is well beyond highway robbery. I estimated the cost of the croissant sandwich and slice of ham and cheese to be $4 tops, but $20? So $16 dollar profit? And no staff, so the profit goes even higher. The severe disjunction between the food quality and price really feels illegal. Can this place be investigated by consumer affairs? Can we identify the owner and publicly shame that person? We were captive in the airport and needed to eat. Two sandwiches, two cookies, two bottles of water was a $50 plus “meal.” The sandwiches deliberately don’t have prices on them. I honestly feel like this business needs to be removed from the airport. In contrast, we had a meal just now in the Fort Lauderdale airport for the same price (four cents less) and that was a grilled hamburger and french fries, a caesar salad with grilled chicken, coffee and lemonade, served in a sit-down restaurant with excellent service. The food was excellent. Same. Price. This restaurant is really giving the entire San Juan airport a BAD reputation and making tourists and locals alike feel cheated and robbed. I don’t think I have ever seen over forty 1-star reviews on Google. If only negative stars existed.
STAY AWAY, OVERPRICED, TERRIBLE DAY OLD FOOD!! Purchased two pre-made Ham and cheese sandwiches wrapped in plastic and a soda for $30.00. Sandwiches tasted day old, had to ask to heat them up in a broken microwave. Sandwiches tasted nasty. VERY OVERPRICED LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. FELT LIKE THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOR FOR PURCHASING SUCH LOUSY FOOD.
DO NOT EAT HERE! $19 for a sandwich I spent $ 60 on 2 sandwiches and 3 drinks. I live in DC I’ve NEVER spent that much on the amount I got! Service from the cashier was EXTREMELY POOR has a nasty attitude. I understand the airport is over priced but it’s one thing to over price and another to take full advantage of travelers situation. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
DO NOT eat here. the sandwich was so gross and it was $20. it was wet and dripping, i left a trail of tuna water on myself because the dude couldn’t even drain it. the bread was also raisin😭 who tf makes tuna raisin $20 sandwiches omg it feels like 1929 great depression food. i had to throw the other half away because i was GOING TO PUKE
I ordered a chicken sandwich and the bread tasted like sawdust dry as hell disgusting. $19 for a sawdust sandwich. Boy this place like the plague..
Too expensive! I wish I had just walked away instead of purchasing anything. It was $18.50 for one SMALL salad. Do not purchase from this place! Not good customer service either. I wanted the Mediterranean salad and he kept trying to give me the Caesar salad.
Premade sandwich at 17$ which is sealed wrap... The quality of the bread is sooooo bad... 5$ for a small orange juice... I understand it's the airport and I have no problem paying extra... But please make sure the quality is there!!!! Avoid at all costs.... Anyway they all costs less around... Pick and choose...
This place is pure cheeks. Coffee dispensers that either don't dispense the correct drink or just pure water. Oh and no creamer or milk in sight. Never mind the lack of options and long, slow line. How the aiport is allowing this rank amateur business to stay is beyond me. Because if this was stateside, it would have been closed yesterday. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
I was charged 61.16 for a 7 $ muffin they are scamming customers and are getting away with it. I was not refunded the 50 something extra they charged if I could get a phone number I would call and dispute it but there’s not a phone number for them I would never buy anything from them ever again, I hope they see this.
No vuelvo.
There is little that is actually "Fresh" @theGate. Terminal A in SJR. I wish thay I had thought to take a photo. A small turkey & cheese croissant sandwich, which was in the refrigerator section although they had a hot ham & cheese in their heater. I asked if they had hot and pf course the answer was no. They agreed to heat it up but for almost $25.00, should I really feel grateful? That small sandwich and two small bottles of water....., $25.00 (22.74 to be exact) Definitely wish that I had eaten beforehand or Hell, I could have gotten a real meal at the airport restaurant by gates 5 and 7 plus a cocktail! Won't make that mistake again. Sandwich was basic service was meh, he seemed as if he wanted to be anyplace else. I do NOT recommend.
The Staff was manually extracting pomegranates the whole time we were waiting for our flight (3 hours) and it was very noisy and annoying. The sound was like if he was beating the kitchen counter with wooden rolling pin with all his power. Terrible method they are using while people sitting and waiting for their flight already nervous.
Like everyone else said, the price is highway robbery. I’m vegetarian and the $24-after-tax sandwich was basically my only option in the airport. They asked which cheese I wanted and I said “all of them, for that price!” They scoffed but looking down it was cheeses that cost .25 a pound. The staff were clearly used to hearing people complain about the price—I don’t fault them—but I wish nothing but a lifetime of inconvenient, petty annoyances for the owner. Truly a horrible, selfish, opportunist.
Food is so overpriced 80 dollars on 3 small sandwiches and 3 sodas. 1 person working which has no experience at all making sandwiches. Didn’t even know he has a huge spatula to remove sandwiches from oven and he kept burning his hand. Customers had to tell him to use it.
As I approached the concesión stand I notice the attendant occupied. I excused myself and asked for service another customer also approached. The attendant paid no attention to us is still waited as the approaching customer left . So did I.
Good grief that was bad. I feel sorry for the lady making sandwiches because the two other employees just sit there and watch her no matter how far they are backed up. They had next to no ingredients including being out of lettuce at a sandwich and salad shop. But, if you feel like paying close to 19 bucks for a bad sandwich, give them a try.

VERY expensive for what you get. Worst food from an airport. Food was borderline spoiled (see photos). Service was mediocre and they were not concerned.

Super overpriced food. Only 1 employee working and a huge line. We bought 1 bottle of water, 2 quesitos, 2 muffins and 1 coffee. $40. No, it is not a typo. $40. Ludicrous!
They charged me $19.80 for a veggie wrap make as you go and I asked if it’s really that much… the wrap was awful had no meat in it so wasn’t worth that much- and then on the receipt charged me as a tuna salad sandwich
