The line was long, but with current conditions not surprised especially at 9 at night but at least it's a shorter wait then innout. What really made it impressive was after we order we waited 2 mins and we pulled up, paid and they gave us our order. I was so impressed the speed. Food was great even after a short drive home. The best part was we tried the new Strawberry frosty and it's soooo good. Definitely worth ordering. Wendy you never dissappoint.

The ladies working here have this particular Wendy's running very smoothly. Was a very clean restaurant inside and out. Food was tasty and fast. Service was friendly. The music being played was even some really good jazz classics you wouldn't expect to hear. Keep it up San Leandro Wendy's! You rock!

I came here looking for the $1 and $2 burgers advertised on TV good went to the drive-thru I was told that I needed to download the app to get the coupon i struggled for like 5 minutes and could not figure it out so Veronica told me to pull around to the window and she would help me. Clean, well lit, highly organized, fast service, good ambiance, overall a 5 star experience. Came in at the tail end of the lunch rush, moved through the line in reasonable time. Ordered tenders and taco salad both of which exceeded our expectations. Tenders were moist, crispy, tasty and satisfying, taco salad after combining the ingredients was awesome. Cleanliness was great, even the bathrooms were clean and very presentable. Love this place in general and this location specifically is as good as the best Wendy's, better than most.

Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Out of napkins and a messy station but they took our feedback well. Cute guy behind the counter and a good staff all around.

Staff always seems overworked. I wish this location had one of the new soda machines with tons of options. But that's nitpicking at this point. Restaurant is always clean and food is always hot when I receive my order.

The good thing about this Wendys is they've never got my order wrong and people working here are very attentive (rare in fast food). Cleanliness inside is about average for fast food restaurant. The area is frequented by homeless people and always one or two guys sitting outside, but they don't bother anyone. This place beats Mcdonalds down the street anyday!

Stopped for a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff. Not a long wait at all for our food. Clean & well stocked on the items utensils, napkins, straws, etc.

Great food. It was fresh and hot. Customer service was great. When I was in there though, there was an altercation between an employee and a random man that walked in and threatened the employee. It was a bit scary but the employee handled it like a champ.

I've forgotten how good a Dave's Double is at Wendy's. Served hot on a soft bun with gooey melted cheese. Easily the best fast food burger of any chain in my book. Better than McD, BK, or In$Out. The fries are pretty damn good too. Just wish there more Wendy's nearby.

Expensive for so-so food. I sometimes forget fast food is expensive. For what I spent I could have eaten at a restaurant. 1/5/2026. Slow, molasses-slow. I went inside and got ignored. Had to wait 20 minutes in the drive through. Double burger, fries, and spicy chicken sandwich were good. But, wow, the wait time was stupid.

I started to frequent this restaurant after the pandemic lockdowns were lifted. Before the renovation that took place at the beginning of January 2024, the restaurant had guide rails at the front counter to help wrangle the line of people waiting to order, and the dining lobby was dinged up and there were a few tables that had graffiti scratched into it, however, the overall dine-in experience was pleasant. After the month-long renovation, they removed the guide rails and opened up the front counter, so it is much easier to traverse. They also added more ADA-compliant tables for people with disabilities, and the renovation put a new coat of paint, installed more lights and changed the art on the walls. They also installed a soda fountain machine in the lobby, but the table with the ketchup dispensers, disposable eating ware, salt & pepper and napkins is still there. Overall, my experience with this restaurant has been very positive, and the food is excellent, as well!

The daytime crew is usually efficient and friendly. ​Location: Super convenient if you’re commuting or running errands near the BART station. ​Why 4 stars instead of 5: The late-night service can be a bit of a hit-or-miss. I’ve had a couple of instances where a sauce was missing or the Frosty machine was down for cleaning right when I had a craving. Also, the dining room hours can be a little unpredictable, so I usually just stick to the drive-thru to be safe. ​Bottom Line: It’s a solid choice for a quick meal. Just double-check your bag for sauces before you pull away from the window!

Cashier was very nice, I however ordered a bbq chicken sandwich and received a plain chicken sandwich with mayonnaise and lettuce. No pickles, no bbq sauce, no crispy onions, and no cheese. The chicken was also not crispy, especially compared to our local Wendy's. You failed this one Wendy's.

Somebody was in front of me banging on the drive thru window. I'm not sure what for. But you could clearly tell the employees were terrified over the speaker. So I'll cut them some slack for taking 15mins for a lemonade. I'm sure after that they started getting all the orders correct.

They screwed up food order despite it being on recipe. I ordered Asagio chicken club meal without sauce & got only grilled chicken sandwich with sauce. Service is always fast and friendly. Only issue is that the tables / eating area are always sticky and littered with food scraps. There tends to be a lot of messy eaters here so I'm not blaming the place. Drive through is the best bet for the best service though. Even with a line, you'll get through it in 10 minutes or less.

The Wendy's on the corner is really cool. We try to come through there and use some coupons. We were only able to use one with three people in the car. Which doesn't make any sense to me. They say you have to come inside and use one or more coupons. They need to fix that situation for they lose people.

This location is just off of a church I go to and I like it because they use fresh meat and not frozen. You can actually taste the difference. For the price, you really get quality food. Although you can't compare this to a Five Guys kind if place.

This Wendy's is a busy store, at least every time I've been there. The staff seemed very good and knocked out the orders very quickly, it wasn't a long wait at all. Like most of the other Wendy's though, they don't have that big soda machine that has a lot of different selections, and it's not in the dining area so you can't get your own refill. I'm not sure if you can get a refill at the counter or not.

Only Wendy's close to home. Have a child allergic to dairy so I have to order a hamburger or chicken nuggets. Half the time they give me cheese for the hamburger and also frequently forget to give the dipping sauce for the nuggets. Always double check your items, especially when ordering from the drive thru.

IIwish I could give no stars!!!! I Just found a dead fly in my salad. Also the trays for the dinning area we're we're not washed before my food was placed on it. I ordered a chicken apple-pecan salad and fries at the drive thru window around 9:30. First problem was the wait. I asked for assistance 4 times before my order was taken. When I got home, there was no dressing, pecans, fork or receipt. I live 15 mins away and did not want to take another 30 min trip. this is the second time this has happened to me. My dinner was ruined.

Low IQ staff have NEVER got an order correct, I will sit in their drive through looking through the order to find out what is wrong and have them correct it then and there. When I tell them they made a mistake they act like I did something rude when they're too busy gossiping among themselves to do their job right. I commute alot so I go to a lot of fast food. I know the establishment is only as good as the workers. This particular establishment had the worst staff. Right from the beginning I had to say my order multiple times to the point where i gave up and only ordered what they had already on the screen. Then going up to the windows the path is a mine field of potholes. Finally, at thr window no apology or anything. There was no question of what sause I would like(My mistake on assuming they would put minimum of at least ketchup packets) and when i got to work no ketchup, napkins, nothing but just my order. Im surprised I even got a straw. I would only come herr if you are desperate on something to eat. Otherwise please go somewhere else.

I would not recommend this particular Wendy's unless you make sure you get your receipt, and check your bag to make sure you got all your food. Their newest mushroom onion ring burger was NOTHING like the delicious mouthwatering photo advertising it. Had a few canned sliced mushrooms and MAYBE what looked like a few canned fried onions you put in your green bean casserole at Xmas. Soggy not crispy. Got my money back. Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for breakfast. Someone started taking my order, then silence for about 8-10 minutes. I pulled forward to the window and there was a woman walking around and saw me in the drive thru window. I motioned over to her numerous times and tried to talk to her but she refused to open the window and help me. When someone did come help me, there was no apology or sorry for the 15 minute wait. I was late to work and cannot believe the service that I received, and unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. This is not the first time that this has happened either.

So this morning I walked about 20 blocks because on Google it states that their lobby is open however when I got there the doors were locked however I had already paid for my food through the app and it said it was ready, since there were no cars in the Drive-Thru I walked to the window smiling however the manager told me that even though I ordered and paid for my food through the app they could not get it to me and I would have to wait until 8 a.m. I start work at 8:00 I tried pleading with her for her to hand me my bag that was right there however she would not give me my order food even after seeing my confirmation I normally come here after work sometimes I don't understand why they would treat me that way I honestly never want to go back they made me feel like I was on a walk of shame

I honestly hate this Wendy's. The rudest, nastiest, laziest employees of any Wendy's of all time work here. I hate this fact because this is my nearby Wendy's, but I have tried coming here multiple times and each time it is a huge disappointment. Do you want the employees to completely ignore you and then give you the wrong items in your bag? Then come here. Do you want the employees to lie to you about whether or not a coupon is intended only for mobile or in restaurant? Then come here. Do you want an employee to give you the wrong change, and then drop the change afterwards when you correct them thereby indicating that they did it on purpose? Then come here. If you don't want any of those things to happen - then please, please go somewhere else.

I went to Wendy’s today in SanLeandro, ordered a few items from the menu from drive through. The manager was Very Mean towards me. Snappy with an Attitude for no apparent reason. I work in food services. You can always tell how dirty a place is based on their bathroom. You couldn't pay me to eat here. I came here just to use the bathroom. The floor was a sticky mess. It wasn't water. I put a toilet seat cover on the floor because I didn't want to dirty my new shoes, and instead the paper stuck to my shoe and there was a heavy smell of pee. No thanks, I'll pass.

Very sad... This location has changed immensely!!! The young man taking the order at the window was a complete jerk!!! He handed us our drinks out of the window and as we asked him a question about the size of a milkshake he slammed the window closed. No big deal right, could have been an accident. Before we could check our food, he seem to be upset when we asked for a receipt. He needs a lot of training and customer service. We then particular to check our food and started waving at him attempting to get his attention and he looked at us turned his head and walked off. Mind you I've never seen him before so I don't have a problem with him until now. Finally the manager showed up. She was decent. She replaced our fries and walked them out to the car for us. But overall the experience was a negative 2... Based on the bad attitude of the worker, food shrinkage, cold fries, and inconvenience.. I won't be visiting the store anytime soon, nor would I recommend it.. I need to complete overhaul... I would much rather wait for better customer service than to be mistreated this way.. My money is good anywhere..

During my recent visit to Wendy’s, I was disappointed by the level of customer service I received from an employee named Cecilia. Upon my arrival, she did not acknowledge or greet me, and throughout the interaction, she spoke to me with her back turned, avoiding eye contact entirely. This behavior came across as dismissive and unprofessional. When I attempted to place my order at the counter, Cecilia instructed me to use the self-order kiosk instead. While I understand that Wendy’s offers this option for convenience, I preferred to order directly with a staff member, as I have done in the past. Her tone and manner, however, made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I have heard similar feedback from others regarding this employee’s conduct, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. I believe Wendy’s should take this as an opportunity to review its customer service standards and ensure all team members provide a courteous, respectful, and engaging experience for every guest.

FRAUD!!!! Went there 02/02 bought 1 large fries and 1 small fries. Total to around $8.25. But card was charged $20.13 I disputed with bank and they gave me my money back. BE CAREFUL LOOK AT RECEIPT AND BANK STATEMENT. FRAUD!!!!

I asked for the maple butter that comes on the maple chicken breakfast I was told them didn't have it. I asked for natural lemonade they didn't have it. This burnt cold sandwich is what they shouldn't of had to be honest especially because I had to pay for it get it home and find that it a total dissatisfying. I am tired of spending money and getting horrible food.

I stopped by your location on Saturday around 9 PM, and unfortunately, I received a very old salad. The lettuce looked terrible, as though it had been sitting outside a refrigerator for a couple of days. Since I don’t live close enough to return in person, I’m left with a product I cannot consume, which feels like a waste of money. Pay more attention in what you do. Hard working people don’t have money to loose.

What an awful experience!!! It's in a shady neighborhood and it's obvious they treat the people there like they aren't worth anything based on my meal. First, we used the drive through and the man was quite rude. Second, and most important, I had a cheeseburger and got the worse case of food poisoning. Disgusting. Avoid at all costs. I paid an exorbitant price to be treat4d rudely and get sick.

I order 30 saucy nuggets and this is what I get?!? This looks nothing like the commercial or what they advertise on photos, this is false advertising!!! Don’t get me wrong they would be good, if they were FULLY covered the way they’re supposed to be!! Pissed I payed money for these. SMH.

I had a horrible experience at this Wendy’s. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, a plain chicken sandwich, and a hamburger meal at a location that has clearly gone downhill. The spicy chicken fillet was old and dried, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The meat was rubbery and unappetizing, and the 'large' fries were only half-full. The bread on all the items literally fell apart after a bite. The hamburger meat had a strange taste . We ended up not eating them, except for the fries. I called to let them know, but no one answered the phone. I wanted to drive back to let them know in person, but chose not to. Additionally, the drive-thru attendant was rude and unfriendly. Think twice before buying food at this location or at least inspect it before driving away. I will never return here; the food quality is disgusting, unacceptable, and off-putting, and the customer service is poor.
