The atmosphere here is cool. You will feel welcome. It's a great place to meet up for drinks and snacks. I recently attended a food pairing event at The Shores, and the food was delicious.

The chicken sandwich and the cheese steak are "eyes roll back in your head" good. Tried the cheese steak today and I cleaned my plate, even drank the au jus (don't judge me). I had to remind myself to take a pic before I inhaled the rest of it. The fries have the thinnest layer of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I love inland tavern. It's our spot on Fridays at noon (and the occasional Monday-Thursday too. Again, don't judge me). I worked at penny lane when I was a kid and now Pete the owner is a buddy, even pours my buenavesa as soon as he sees me pull up. With all the changes going on in San Marcos it's nice to have a spot like the tavern that only gets better with age!

Went for the after lunch time and it was perfect. Had an awesome Modern Times cold beer with the "Cardiff Crack" Tri-tip Sandwich and friend had the Quinoa Salad. Can't say I've ever had a better steak sandwich! Service was fantastic & friendly. Can't wait to visit again! Maybe for the Sunday live music brunch!! Update! Came with a group of friends for Taco Tuesday and, again, food was fantastic! I had a shrimp taco & a tri tip taco - both were delicious. Elise did a great job with our large group & was also the bartender! She deserves a raise!

Thank you for the wonderful tableservice Fabian, and I appreciate the concern of Jose for my mother's comfort (he turned on the heater when he saw my mother was getting cold). Thank you, Chayo, for the delicious food! An excellent experience! The twist on your chicken and waffles was delightful and I was surprised by the generous portions. The appetizer nachos were definitely meant for a party to share! The Cuban and Heart of Crack sandwiches were giant! so make sure you're hungry!

Stopped in for a drink and a quick bite. The wife had the Ahi Poke while I had the grilled Turkey sandwich. Bothe were excellent. And the french fries - probably the best I've had. Crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. We will be back.

Asides from the slight odor of stale beer this place was great. As a late dinner option those place came through. Cod fish and chips and the cheeseburger were both delicious! Lots of tvs showing sports and the server/bartender was so nice and attentive.

Randomly decided to try out the revamped place. Great beer selection, atmosphere (kid and dog friendly), great service for lunch on a Saturday. We had the Cobb salad with the Cardiff crack, and grilled turkey sandwich. Both very good. Kids food was great too. Specialty Polly’s Paloma was amazing

We come here all the time and always enjoy it. The food is great and they have something for everyone. The poke is awesome as a shareable plate or for a meal. The mains are all delicious and the fries are dope! They have great brunch too. Dog friendly patio, TV’s everywhere, great beer list, and friendly staff. Love this spot!

Shores is hands down the best bar and grill around! Pete, the owner, has created an amazing place with a welcoming vibe, and Paul is the bartender everyone needs in their life. Paul knows his drinks and adds a personal touch to every experience. Perfect spot for a casual night out, great food, and even better company!

All of the food my group had was amazing, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were also cute Christmas decorations up.

Much much better this time in. Gave it second shot and was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, beer was cold, lights were on and lit up aswell as the service was also good. Great redemption for a place I'd never thought I'd revisit. Cheers🍻

Ranch dressing is delish. They have an outside patio which might be better, it seemed to gain a larger crowd at 9pm. Not sure what that was about. Anyway, try it, you might like it.

Food served was a plain frozen patty with zero taste. Server Paul asked how my meal was and I said fries are good hamburger was not so good. I got a smile and a comment of that’s great by Paul then he turned around and walked away. I asked for my check and was surprised to see I was still charged for the meal I took 1 bite of. Terrible food and service. I do not recommend and would never go back!

Food served was a plain frozen patty with zero taste. Server Paul asked how my meal was and I said fries are good hamburger was not so good. I got a smile and a comment of that’s great by Paul then he turned around and walked away. I asked for my check and was surprised to see I was still charged for the meal I took 1 bite of. Terrible food and service. I do not recommend and would never go back!
