Lovely atmosphere with stunning Golden Gate Bridge views , delicious food, and an exceptional Habibi latte-definitly a must-try!Funny moment: someone spotted my sandwich and asked what I ordered, so I told them it was the breakfast egg sandwich.
Round house has light roast beans so I love their coffee, I had the habibi latte not sure if it’s a holiday special but it was very tasty. Habibi had a hint of orange blossom and cardamon just to my liking. The wait took at least 35min so u can go walk around while u wait for ur drinks. Beautiful view from the coffee shop
This place deserves to be here. We just got lunch, great sandwiches, light, yummy, and with real avocado slices. Attractions need to have more things like this rather than typical attraction style overpriced low quality food. This is a legit coffee shop with great food. Perfect for a walk across the bridge!
Ideally located with a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz prison The staff and the drinks are very good They provide treats for dogs, which I found adorable! There are no toilets, but there are some right in front of the café towards the Golden Gate Welcome Center. I'd love to go back
Super unique spot to grab a coffee while enjoying the view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. Compared to other Equator locations coffee is not as good for some reason and the staff is not the usual friendly types. Still a great exlerience.
Honestly was not expecting the food to be this great. Went with my husband and had breakfast sandwiches that were so amazing hats off to their recipes. Freshly squeezed orange juice and a delicious kiwi ice pop to top it off makes the trip worth it every time.
Food was surprisingly delicious and a great presentation. We ordered the avacado toast, grilled veggies panni, and some hot drinks. The Veggie panni was full of flavor and tatse. The line gets long, so there's a wait, but it moves fast. Great customer service and beautiful view from dining area.
The Round House Café is perfect for a good coffee or a snack before or after crossing the bridge. The place is small but very cozy, with a historic art deco design that gives it a lot of charm. The location is unbeatable: you have a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay while you enjoy your drink. The coffee is good quality, the sandwiches and pastries are fresh, and the service is fast and friendly. Ideal for tourists and locals looking for a light bite with one of the best views of San Francisco. I would definitely return every time I come to the Golden Gate Bridge.”
The Roundhouse Cafe on the south side of the bridge is the starting point for many trips, most buses from San Francisco stop here. It was built in 1938, a year after the Golden Gate Bridge was completed, making it one of the oldest restaurants in the Bay Area. The cafe is a circular Art Deco building in the same great red as the bridge. When I'm here I hike a lot in this area, and a sandwich at the Round House is always part of it...
This cafe has an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I love the brown butter caramel latte
Equator Coffee is surprisingly good, and you can’t beat this code of the bridge and bay. Lots of tourists and bikers, but for a mellow morning, it’s a great spot. This might also be the best oat milk cappuccino I’ve ever had. They’re not easy to get right, and my barista was masterful and very friendly. Their single origin was from Thailand when I was there, which was pretty unusual, fruity and rich. Lovely little spot.
Golden gate bridge view from cafe is amazing Hot chocolate I ordered kids size but I feel like I got large size taste is good Avocado toast feels healthy 🥰
Really liked this place - not for the drinks nor the service, but for the pure vibes There’s something magical about just sipping on a matcha latte while looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. Don’t think there’s a cafe with a nicer view than this one. Not that many seats though, so if you come with a large party, prepare a portion of your group to stand.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting for the day, Round House will be a great experience. Their espresso is fantastic… make sure to get your sparking water with it. Their avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had. Plus the view!! You won’t regret making the trek here. Staff was awesome too!
I visited Round House Cafe in San Francisco and loved it! I tried the avocado toast, and it was really fresh and flavorful. The place is perfect for brunch, and the view of the Golden Gate Bridge makes the experience even better. A great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the iconic scenery. Highly recommend!
Stopped by Round Cafe near the Golden Gate and ordered the pesto panini and coffee. The sitting area is very limited, so we ended up eating in the car — something to keep in mind if you’re planning to dine in. That said, the pesto panini was absolutely delicious: fresh, warm, and full of flavor. The coffee was also surprisingly good — smooth, strong, and well-made. Even without proper seating, the food and coffee made the stop worth it. Great option for a quick, tasty takeaway near the bridge.
Round House Café offers great coffee at a good price, with tasty bagels and a stunning Golden Gate Bridge view. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery, and savor a cozy café atmosphere.
A Golden Find: Round House Cafe - Coffee, Views, and Deliciousness! If you're looking for the perfect spot to fuel up with fantastic coffee and a bite to eat while soaking in breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, look no further than Round House Cafe. From the moment you arrive, the setup is simply beautiful. We were lucky enough to snag a table outside on a sunny, blessedly non-windy day, and the experience was truly magical. Enjoying our meal with the iconic bridge as a backdrop and the lovely scenery surrounding us was an absolute treat. But it's not just the location that shines. The coffee here is top-notch – they proudly serve Equator Coffee, and you can taste the quality in every sip. Beyond the excellent brew, their selection of sandwiches is impressive and, importantly for us, included some really delicious vegetarian options. It's clear they put thought into their menu, catering to various preferences. We also indulged in some fresh juice, which was a refreshing and vibrant addition to our meal. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Golden Gate Bridge!
It’s great to have a time in this place with a stunning view! We got a matcha latte with orange cream and a mocha, and it was delicious. We recommend!
I love this cafe, not only it has the best view in SF, everything i ordered here was really good, from cafe latte, chocolate chip cookies, and the sweetest orange juice (in March), really satisfying spot; a must stop while at golden gate view point. Doggy friendly is a plus!
In town visiting family and doing some exploring. Typically I DREAD going to eateries nearby scenic attractions as they are usual awful given they know they have a steady stream of people. But oh my goodness, THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. And the food, THE FOOD, was amazing! I had a iced vanilla latte. Best I’ve ever had. And the chicken salad was awesome. Really good sized sandwich you could share EASILY. Delicious! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this place out for a cool lunch or breakfast spot. The avocado toast with egg looked yummy too! And YOU CANNOT BEAT THE VIEW!!! And just minutes from where you can walk across the bridge!
I love their food & coffee, its kinda expensive though. I wanna go back there.
5 stars alone just because it’s literally feet away from the Golden Gate Bridge. The views are incredible. I wasn’t too hungry so I only ordered a peanut butter cookie but it was delicious sweet and chewy. Because there are so many tourists in the area except to wait due to long lines probably but with the amazing view who is going to complain If there was a wait. I didn’t order it but the sparkling strawberry sounded good and their sandwich collection did as well.
I normally don’t like going to cafes near tourist attractions as they are overpriced and low quality. However after a long walk we stopped by and got an EQ Ultimate Club and a Grilled Cheese Panini and to be honest they were delicious and a good portion size. Not a bad spot at all.

Round House Café – Golden Gate Views Worth the Stop Round House Café by the Golden Gate Bridge is one of those stops that’s all about the location — and it delivers. Sitting here with a drink and that iconic view just steps away feels like a true San Francisco moment. I ordered the iced hibiscus tea, which was crisp and refreshing, and we also tried the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Both were excellent. The cookie was decent, but the drinks were the real standouts. My husband tried the Habibi iced coffee — not his usual choice — and said it was fine but nothing spectacular. When we first arrived, the parking lot above the café was packed and chaotic, so we left and came back later. Pro tip: skip the upper lot and park in the paid lot below, scan to pay, and walk up the stairs (about five minutes). It’s faster and far less stressful. It was crowded when we first came through, but returning later paid off — we scored incredible seats right in front of the bridge. Also worth noting: don’t leave valuables in your car; we noticed broken glass nearby. Clean, efficient, and perfectly placed — an ideal spot to pause and take in one of the most famous views in the world.
A San Francisco Gem Reborn — The Perfect Golden Gate Morning! After living in San Francisco for 25 years, I finally stopped into the Round House Café next to the Golden Gate Bridge — and wow, what a treat. My friend Steve and I walked across the bridge with my dog Romeo and decided to grab coffee and a bite afterward. I had the avocado toast and a pistachio croissant with berries inside — easily one of the best croissants I’ve ever had in my life. The cappuccino was perfect too — rich, smooth, and beautifully made. Steve had the breakfast burrito, which was just as amazing. The food, the views, the friendly staff — everything about this place was spot-on. Sitting there with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, sunshine pouring in, and the smell of fresh pastries made for a perfect Sunday morning experience. If you’re a local who hasn’t been in a while or a visitor seeing the bridge for the first time, don’t miss this spot.

very very crowded. However their coffee actually tasted good. be ready for very long wait times. they need to find a clever way on how to expedite customer service. Otherwise a good experience.
Great coffee, I went while raining and its quite packed inside by tourists, especially on the weekend, so I was outside, but me and my girlfriend were fine with the wait. (25 minutes) Good coffee and great atmosphere outside, and a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge, that was worth even waiting in the rain.
Right next to the Golden Gate Bridge, this cafe is perfect for enjoying the view and taking photos. They have a variety of pastries and plenty of drink options. A lot of people were ordering the matcha tea, so I was curious about it, but I ended up getting the shakerato instead.
I came to Golden Gate Park for a morning walk and luckily found this spot offering coffee, breakfast, avocado & egg sandwiches, water, fresh orange juice, sodas, and even energy drinks. It turned out to be the perfect place to start the day before crossing the San Francisco bridge and enjoying the park. At first, I was a bit worried because I came very early and hadn’t planned where to get breakfast, but this café is so strategically located that it made everything easy. We were able to enjoy a nice breakfast and then walk around Golden Gate Park without any rush. Definitely a recommended experience if you want to start your day right in San Francisco.
The best thing about Equator Coffees at Golden Gate is the stunning view — that’s the main reason to visit. You can sit and look out at the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the ocean, and the passing boats. It’s a truly breathtaking location, perfect for soaking in the scenery. Another special feature is the history of the café. Originally established in 1935, the building still carries that vintage charm. If you appreciate historical spots that retain their character — this place is for you. However, keep in mind that it’s a very popular and touristy spot, so we had to wait about 20 minutes just to get our coffee. That’s a bit of a downside. Also, it was quite windy in the area, and by the time we got our drinks, we were already cold. Still, it was worth it for the view. If you’re in the area and want to enjoy your coffee with one of the best vistas in San Francisco — definitely stop by.
Good mushroom latte with great views, 10oz size was perfect to warm me up There are bike parking and seats outside
Small little restaurant for visitors coming to the golden gate bridge. It has a limited selection of food and drinks. Loved the avocado toast here. Very few seats here and almost all of them are taken at all times, so you may have to wait for your turn to get a seat especially the ones by the window from where you can get a great view of the bridge and whole bay area. This a good place to hide yourself from the cold and rain which is quite common around the bridge in spring time.

A great place to stop while visiting the Golden Gate Bridge. I had a hot chocolate, orange juice, and a berry bread cake — the drinks were delicious, and the pastry, while a little dry, still tasted good. Overpriced sandwiches and not enough seating. The view is stunning, but that’s about the only highlight of this place.
I saw this place on Instagram and thought I'd try it. The views are stunning, but not their service or the food. The workers act annoyed and not very happy to help with very drab personalities. They don't have their line very together, so the line is out the door. I ordered the BLT, grilled cheese, and tomato bisque soup. No fountain sodas, which was a huge bummer. The food came out wrapped in foil looking like a doggie bag giving you the signal to take it to go. I ordered a chai tea and matcha latte. The chai tea was not sweet at all. It tasted like water with massive amounts of cinnamon. The sandwiches were bland and the bread was mooshy inside. No flavor at all. The tomato bisque was however, delicious.
