I'm not sure how you would top this dining experience. The location, the authenticity of the team, the ingredients, the combinations of flavors. A+
It was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. Best sushi of my life so far! Thank you to the awesome team!
I've been twice and had an amazing experience both nights! Food and service was excellent. Beautiful restaurant. Definitely will be going back.

Amazing experience with fantastic food. I now know what the hype about the rice was. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing! We just got back from Japan and this did not disappoint!! Incredible unique experience.

A very fun experience. Food was phenomenal the service was fun and personal
Silvers blends hospitality with mastery. I'll be coming back often!
What an amazing omakase experience. Definitely worth it.
I can’t wait to go back…….Just excellent!!!!
This is such an amazing experience. Ryan was our chef, and given it was a super intimate experience we were able to talk him the entire meal. It was nice to hear about his passion for the craft and how he got into it. Each dish was purposefully made and absolutely delicious. The rice they use was a standout, and the first place outside of Japan that it is served. We also got the sake omakase and loved it! If you appreciate good sushi, and have a bit of money to spend, I highly recommend going here!
Obviously this place deserves a five star rating for the incredible food, but I also wanted to highlight the uniquely intentional yet down to earth atmosphere that chef Lee and his team have created as well. From the start, we were treated as if we were a small group of friends all coming together to have dinner with somebody we knew. The reception room with its speakeasy vibe, welcome drink, and moving works of art on the wall left the door open for everyone who was dining together that night to mingle and get to know one another. Once inside, conversation between us diners and the masters of their craft continued to elevate the experience from merely enjoying good food, to learning more about the techniques used for both the fish and sake to transform them into edible works of art. We can’t wait to come back again.
Fantastic food and overall experience
Go eat here immediately! My husband and I had a phenomenal dinner last night. Not just an exquisitely imagined and rendered omakase, but an extremely personal experience between chefs and diner. In a world where real connection between human beings is becoming scarce, eating beautiful and delicious food in front of the people who make it bridges that gap and makes for a very special evening. Chef Lee is extremely attentive to detail, from the cuts of fish to the rice he imports from Japan and polishes daily- the rice is simultaneously delicate, but chewy, and earthy. Amazing. The ginger is homemade and wow! As is the wasabi. Hard to choose my favorite dish - the scallop, the handroll, or the uni - there are no losers in the 10 or so courses. If you think you don’t like mackerel, you will love it here. From a few grains of sea salt to 3 drops of high quality soy sauce, each piece of fish is lovingly prepared to show off its quality. I usually don’t order the wine pairings as I find they are dumbed down, but this one was great- a chiquet champagne, a lieu dit melon de bourgogne, a julien haart mosel riesling, a chateau de plaisance ronceray anjou blanc, and a tinus lubéron- interesting choices which paired very well. I live in NYC and we have no shortage of excellent omakase restaurants. What set this one apart is the kind, warm welcoming team of four gentlemen who make it happen - it is a restaurant which is clearly a labor of love and it shines in every way. 🧡
Truly the best omakase experience ever! Chef Lennon is both fun and educational - he invites you to a "sacred temple" of omakase. He actively chats with guests and describes each course clearly. Every bite of his making is so tender that it melts in your mouth. Everything is served on beautiful, handmade in Japan, dinnerware. The perfect ambience and settled music completes the perfect time. Omakase Silvers is a restaurant you must try!
I’ve had the opportunity to dine at Silvers as both a solo diner and with a guest and each time the experience was unparalleled. The welcoming team and gorgeous design are one thing - but the quality of the fish and superb rice makes Silvers the standard for sushi on the Central Coast. I’d go once a week if I could.

Amazing experience. Food is incredible and it exceeded expectations. The chef and staff are all very hospitable and enjoyable to interact with throughout the night. The sake pairing is an excellent choice. We will definitely be back!
We recently went to Silver's Omakase, it has to be one of the best meals we've had. Each bite is carefully curated. It is obvious the team enjoy what they are doing and it shows throughout the dining experience.
What a lovely experience. The chef/ owner was so pleasant and knowledgeable about every dish that was brought out. The dishes were melt in your mouth. 10/10 experience and highly recommend.
Had the honor of getting to experience Silver’s before it opened and all I can say is wow. Food is a level above Lennon’s previous spot and the dining experience was amazing. We have two more dinners booked and can’t wait.
Wow, a true 5 star experience. The food is incredible, the vibe and staff are easy to chat with / not too stuffy. Small, intimate setting. I have nothing but great things to say about this, I'm so glad it exists in Santa Barbara!
Wow, what can I say other than WOW! What an incredible experience. I am still dreaming about it a couple weeks later. From start to finish, everything was impeccable! The service, the ambiance, and the food. Ohhhh the food!!!! Best bites of my life. My only complaint is that my stomach couldn’t make room for more. I wish the experience never had to end. Cannot wait to go back!!!
This place takes the idea of dining, service, and food experience to whole new level. You can immediately tell that every detail was calculated and thought through. And last but NOT least, the quality of the food was top drawer. Fresh and truly one-of-a-kind!
my dad took me here for my birthday last week, best sushi place i have tried yet. very professional and chef Lennon knows how to whip it up in the kitch. 10/10 would dine here again
A spectacular omakase experience. Best in town.
Super excited to see a traditional omakase experience in SB! The attention to detail, fresh ingredients, and authentic vibe are exactly what the area needed.
Lennon and his staff were Absolutely amazing. The service was 5 stars, the ambiance was incredible and the food was absolutely outstanding!
Amazing place, a little pricey but worth it. Almost every dish is nigiri. The focus is on good ingredients expertly prepared with minimal additional and just a touch of rock/sea salt. Really fits with the American steak theme that a good steak doesn't really need much besides a little salt.
Impeccable experience! My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at this omakase restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was truly divine – each piece was expertly crafted and presented. What made the evening truly special was the private dinner we enjoyed. As the only ones with a 9:30 PM reservation, we felt like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The chefs and staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, sharing stories and insights about each dish. The attention to detail and personalized service made this birthday celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience, look no further. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could! Highly recommend.
Chef Lennon prepares an exquisite exploration of culinary mastery, artistry, and unparalleled epicurean delight. Every piece of fish, every grain of rice, was of the highest quality and sourced from the finest purveyors. The team at Silvers provided impeccable service and created an unforgettable dining experience!
Had a wonderful time. Chef Brian was warm knowledgeable and very personable. The fish selection was great and from many regions . Texture and taste were excellent. Thanks!
I found Silvers Omakase through the Michelin guide app, and there is a reason for it. For what it's worth, this is a Michelin-worthy restaurant from start to finish. I have recently been to a two-Michelin-starred sushi restaurant and a single-Michelin-starred contemporary restaurant, and Silvers Omakase has the personalized and professional touch of those restaurants. For personalized experiences, I entered a few minutes before seating. I was greeted warmly and with a glass of champagne. Quickly, the other guests arrived, and we were seated. The staff was introduced and welcomed us. The dining room is beautiful. It is dark but still well-lit, focusing on the food, the customers, and the Chiefs. My seat had my name handwritten, and because I was solo and using my phone often, they even provided me with a pad for my phone. Each omakase set was unique, flavorful, and well thought out. I also ordered two bottles of sake, picking the recommended complimentary bottle. Even the guests around us were invigorated by the environment, which welcomed conversation (hopefully, my sake didn’t hurt my fellow constituents). I also left a gift I had purchased and was text by the restaurant to coordinate picking it up. Proving the commitment to customer service which becomes rarer daily. It is well worth 5 stars, and the price is entirely reasonable for the food and experience.
Yum!!!! Our dinner at Silvers Omakase last Saturday for my wife’s birthday was truly unforgettable, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! We celebrated with friends and family, and even our adventurous six-year-old, who is a big fan of Silvers. The staff was absolutely wonderful—not only were they professional and attentive, but they were so kind and positive with our daughter, making the entire experience feel joyful and inclusive. Every bite of food was extraordinary, with flavors that were both bold and refined. Silvers made the night magical, and we can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely lovely experience with all of the staff. The sushi was top notch and the chefs extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Every detail was thought out and considered. Could not recommend more.
This is the best omakase I’ve had in a very long time. Every course was beautifully crafted, with incredible attention to detail and the freshest ingredients. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chef’s creativity truly shined. An unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to come back!
We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Silver’s Omakase, and were so excited to experience dinner service there. Chef Lennon has curated an intimate, modern, and welcoming atmosphere where the focus on quality and attention to detail are unparalleled. With an evolving menu reflective of the innovative creations of Chefs Lennon and Nathan, be assured that each bite will be well-balanced with flavors that pop and highlight the nuances of each type of protein. Combine that with Jaime’s sake pairing to elevate your meal to the next level. We can’t wait to go back and have recommended Silver’s to many friends and family!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here on three separate occasions. Just when I think it can’t possibly get better Chef Lee and his team take it to another level. If you are looking for a memorable experience that you will be talking about months later, this is your place. All of the food is of outstanding freshness and prepared with the utmost respect and attention to detail. The service is impeccable. The wine pairing and sake pairing are curated to compliment each dish and are indeed memorable. And don’t get me started on the rice….
Silvers Omakase was amazing! Everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. So glad my friend recommended it because it definitely lived up to the hype. If you love sushi, you gotta check this place out!
Just had an incredible evening at Silvers Omakase in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone, and I'm still in awe! Chef Lennon has created a masterpiece. The omakase felt both personal and inventive, with every dish showcasing a perfect balance of tradition and innovation. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of easy-going elegance and fun. Chef Lee, with his Michelin-starred background, has definitely brought something special to downtown Santa Barbara. It's not just a meal, I highly recommend Silvers to anyone looking for a premiere and memorable dining experience - I can't wait for my next visit!
Okay… where do I start? Tucked away in the middle of the Funk Zone, it creates its own scene. But the music lets you know it doesn’t take itself too serious. Perfect jazz in the dining area, Peaches & Lee in the bathroom (look them up). The glassware, the seats, the lighting… all on point. Oh… the food… unbelievable. I’ve been to Omakase spots from Tokyo to NYC, and these guys are a gem that Santa Barbara should be shouting about. If Omakase is your thing, this is it. The timing, the order of service, the sake pairing… a story impeccably told and a feast worthy of the most eager sushi fan. And the team? Doesn’t get any better. Truly an experience to be had. Thank you Silvers, for an unforgettable night out. World class.
First off, I want to say I have eaten a lot of sushi and enjoyed many Omakase experiences. But this one takes the cake, and the icing too! Upon entering this cutty establishment we were treated with champagne and smiles from the lovely host and hostess. I knew immediately that it was going to be a night of delight and treats. The elegance and sophistication of the sitting room was very noteworthy. The vibe was set impeccably from the very beginning. As we entered into the dining room, the presentation was immaculate. Everything down to the smallest details has obviously been curated by a true master and genius. The thought and effort put into choosing the meer rice supplier from Japan, did not go unnoticed. Every component of the experience really highlighted the essence of the Japanese culture in a thoughtful and beautiful manner. For me, it wasn’t just the multitude of flavors, super rare fish, unique combinations and cultural subtleties but was also the stories and history told to me by Chef Lennon and his masterful team. I couldn’t count how many dishes we ate that night because I was too busy laughing and enjoying myself. All I know is I left with a full belly and an even fuller experience. I can’t help but feel like family at this establishment and will beg, borrow and steal to get back to this place.
Incredible dining experience unlike any other in Santa Barbra. Chef Lennon and his team are unmatched as was our evening at Silvers. The Sake pairing was an excellent way to complement each dish. We will be going back very soon!
Remarkable experience. Talented team combines flawless technique with tremendous subtlety. Elegant without pretense, with such devotion to culture and respect of ingredient, that you feel honored to participate in their culinary homage.
Fabulous dinner and experience! The sushi was excellent and the sake that Jaime helped us choose was refreshing and paired perfectly. We especially Loved Lennon’s crunchy uni creation. Highly recommend!
An experience to remember. The head chef Lennon Silvers Lee has a depth of knowledge related to his craft and takes you on an unforgettable culinary journey. I highly recommend this spot to any sushi lovers out there or anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Santa Barbara.
This is the best sushi that I have ever had in my entire life! The experience of eating sushi here is a lot more than just delicious fish. There’s something magical about the atmosphere that will keep me coming back again and again. I tip my hat to Chef Lennon for such an amazing establishment!
I was fortunate to enjoy the first dinner served last month. We were with 10 of us and the place was stunning. Lennon has created a magical place with stunning flavors and beautiful presentation of his creations. Best dishes I have enjoyed in my life from the Royal rise to all the different fish and make sure to try the amazing Waygu Kobe beef
It was an amazing experience! Chef Lennon and his team do a fantastic job. Everything about the experience, from the arrival to the meal, was fantastic. I highly recommend going here!
This place was amazing! The fish quality was amazing and prepared soooo well! The drink pairings were awesome and very tasty. It was definitely an amazing night and I can’t wait to go back.
Totally amazing! Presentation and quality of food outstanding! Ambience was cozy. Service was excellent. Loved every dish featured on the Omakase!!! Kudos to Chef Silvers and staff!
Incredible experience and seriously the best sushi you can find in the area! Highly recommend booking early and getting whatever time is available, you won’t be disappointed. Lennon and his staff are top notch, the attention to detail is apparent in every section of this restaurant. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed!
This is a special spot. When you arrive, you’re seated in an intimate waiting room, greeted and given champagne. Once ready, they walk you into the sushi room where you and the other guests (8 total) are seated at a beautiful counter. All the finishes and dish ware are hand crafted and purposeful. Jaime, the som, walks you through the beverage menu (get sake… any sake) and then the sushi begins. It’s all made in front of you and it will invariably be the freshest meal you’ve ever had in your life. The flavors are subtle, yet life changing. Each course isn’t more than a few bites, but they’re each exquisite. Sadly, you won’t want to eat sushi anywhere else ever again. The food is Michelin star worthy (and mostly sourced from Japan) and the chance to talk with the team about the food and their lives is a treat. Everyone there is passionate about their craft, personable and authentic. The meal isn’t cheap ($230/person before drinks) but if you are willing to savor every bite it’s absolutely worth it to celebrate a special occasion. Lennon, Ryan, Derek and Jaime make the experience truly memorable.
One of the best omakase experiences among the many places we have been to in the world. The young chef is very proud and pays great attention to the ingredients and food. We were here for the valentine's day dinner, everything was perfect, we had a great conversation with the chef also. Recommended!
The closest I’ve felt to being back in Japan in the states. Every element from food, service, design is thoughtful curated. From the welcome bubbles to glassware to the lighting. Every bite is like a bite of heaven. Every sip is perfectly paired to go perfectly with each bite. The team are fun and friendly. You feel like royalty sitting at this sushi bar. It’s my favorite go to for an anniversary or birthday celebration.
Masterful. The only word that comes to mind when I think about the experience and food at silvers. If there was an option for more stars I would max it out. It’s hard to summarize how incredible the food is, but “world class” is the first thing that comes to mind. The service was equally as impressive. It easy to tell the team at Silvers is as passionate about this craft as chef Lennon. The drink menu and their remarkable Sommelier-like sake and beverage curator is a talent in his own right. I really appreciate Chef Lennon’s attention to detail when building this place from the ground up. They made it a point to remain as true to the Japanese omakase tradition as possible, but with a very subtle, yet tasteful touch of Chef Lennon’s life experiences woven into the DNA of this restaurant. As an example, the (amazing) soundtrack that perfectly sets the mood for guests in the lobby with champagne is actually Chef Lennon’s father’s band from the 60’s. Just an incredible “chef’s kiss” of personality to this already amazing team and restaurant. To the staff, and chef Lennon: Bravo! We will see you soon.
Had the absolute pleasure of being able to dine at Silvers Omakase. It was an amazing evening in an incredible space. Definitely a true highlight was watching Chef Lennon's absolute care and respect for all the amazing product he had was incredibly inspiring. The uni rice, the aged tuna, the kinmedai were all such amazing bites. Can't wait to come back!
Fantastic Omakase experience in Santa Barbara. This team of chefs are meticulous in sourcing their ingredients, respecting traditions, and most importantly, showing us what we've been missing out on with local SB catches. Outstanding!
Chef Lennon creates an amazing omakase course with each element precisely thought out. His professionalism not only shows in his food, but also in the pottery. His sushi rice is unique, using an interesting blend of two black vinegars in Toyama rice, resulting in the most delightful taste. It is an absolutely great combination with each fishes and it is exploding each fishes of beautiful Umami - Dashi flavor. I greatly appreciate the kind hospitality of he and the Silver Omakase team. I highly recommend you.
Silvers out did themselves! What an incredible and unique dining experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt curated and expertly handled. The food and sake were the real highlight. Every bite was better than the last! It was a true omakase experience. Highly recommend to any sushi lover!
I had the honor of experiencing Silvers before the official opening day which is tomorrow! I loved everything from the moment that I was dropped off at the discrete door leading into a beautiful lounge space. Everything from the art, to the couch, and the lightening is warm and inviting. We were escorted to the dining room as a group. Without giving away too much of the details that make this place such a special experience, I will say that everything form here on was truly to another level. The attention to detail is truly remarkable. I have added a few of my favorite photos but I think to truly appreciate the experience, you need to be there in person.
We just got home from an incredibly special experience at Silvers. The sushi chefs are wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and the details of every dish are both subtle and powerful. We enjoyed every mouthful, conversation shared, tidbit about each dish and sake pairings and can't wait to return. Bravo to this team for caring about what they do. It goes a very long way and leaves a lasting impression.
Outstanding dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and they change their menu daily so there’s always a reason to come back!
AMAZING experience and HIGHLY recommend! Lennon and his team have created best Omakase restaurant that I have ever dined at in my life and this is a MUST visit in Santa Barbara!

I loved this dinner so much that I am writing my very first restaurant review! We dined at Silvers back in June, shortly before they were awarded their Michelin star. We arrived a few minutes early and relaxed in their very cool waiting lounge before being led to the counter. There were only six of us dining, so it was a very intimate environment. The space was quite beautiful and calming. Service was a bit more minimal related to some of the other fine dining experiences we've had (just the chef plus two other people), but this wasn't a negative at all: we always felt very well attended without feeling smothered. We both did the omakase and each ordered one of the beverage pairings (sake for me, wine for my husband). All of the courses and beverages were exceptional. There was one particular bite of fish with broth towards the beginning that I still think about regularly. I loved watching the chef meticulously prepare each bite in front of us. As many other reviews have already noted, the rice is outstanding. He shared his process of sourcing and preparing the rice and clearly takes a lot of pride in it. Overall, this was a fantastic dinner and we are eager to return. The one thing that I will note for others is that it's not an enormous amount of food. We were still a bit hungry afterwards and actually ran into two of the other diners from our sitting who were also looking for food afterwards. Probably best not to go on a completely empty stomach. Regardless, we felt that this dinner was well worth the money. Congrats to Chef Lennon on the well-deserved star!
The hype is real! The fact that it only took 18 months for this magical place to get a Michelin star speaks volumes about the passion, hard work, and unique talent behind it. One of the best culinary experiences of my life, every bite blew me away, the rare saki pairing was next level, and the level of service that was provided throughout the entire evening blew me away! I cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Intimate setting, feels like a small private dining experience. with attention to detail. We enjoyed our omakase and sake sampler. High quality sushi/fish. Keep in mind that the menu was exclusively fish; no veggie course; no fresh or pickled side of ginger (out of season at the time) and no soy sauce. If you are adventurous and really love fresh sushi/fish, I recommend for a special night out.

I was disappointed. Ambiance and service were lovely, but the majority of the bites were bland and uninteresting. For the price tag I would not return.
While not terrible, we found the found rather average. Of the 10 some odd bites (plus or minus a few, I don't recall exactly), maybe 1/3 were spectacular. The rest tasted like nothing special that we could have gotten at Sun Sushi. To be clear, I'm overly critical because of the price. If this were a $100 spot for 2, its an easy 5 star Google review. However, I find it highly problematic dropping $600+ and having multiple pieces of generic white fish sushi. To this extent, Silvers was wildly uninspiring. And especially compared to the other top spot in town, Sushi by Scratch, the clear winner is not Silvers. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is very good, but the food itself? Meh. I don't know if it was just an off day or what, but expectations were high and the food very much under delivered.
Wasting time and money
Unjustified premium price, for sushi that is average and bland. This was my first visit, and sadly, it will be my last. The restaurant's decor is nice, but the overall experience was disappointing. The chef/ owner came across as arrogant with lack of customer service and gave off an uncomfortable sense of *CULTURAL APPROPRIATION*
We typically go to a lot of omakase spots and we were very excited to try this place. But unfortunately the owner thinks he’s cool and immune to treat their customers so poorly. It was a little weird to see how empty it was for a Saturday booming summer weekend. We were the only guests there +1 more guy. But seriously, NEVER GO HERE. THE WORST OMAKASE IN THE WORLD. SAVE YOUR TIME ANS MONEY. Or go to the Montecito sushi bar for a better experience in town. What was supposed to be a special evening turned into an absolute nightmare, all because of the extremely disrespectful and condescending attitude of the chef/owner. The chef hasn’t been been to Japan once. We are generally excited about omakase experiences and like to get to know a lot about the food and restaurant, but the moment we started asking questions, the chef/ owner got super mad and took everything very personally, and got visibly upset when we simply asked why they don't offer extra bites to buy. For having paid $1,000 for this, very honestly, the food itself was mediocre. I can’t believe we left the restaurant not only feeling humiliated but still hungry, and when we requested to BUY additional bites, the chef got offended and pretty much kicked us out. They didn't even allow us to finish our drinks. It was unlike anything we've ever experienced and I don’t wish for anyone to experience this. As if the dinner itself wasn’t bad enough, on our way out, when we tried to give feedback, the person who handed us our jackets shut the door in our faces before we could even finish talking. This restaurant clearly doesn’t understand the meaning of hospitality, and it’s hard to imagine it will last long if they continue to treat customers this way. I strongly advise against going here. No one should ever have to live such an awful experience, especially at this unjustified price.
Way overrated. Went here and left hungry. Asked why they didn’t have more food for people who were hungry and they argued with me and weren’t very nice about it. I eat at the best restaurants and this place has no reason to be on Michelin guide. Many other places in Santa Barbara better to go than here.
BEWARE! They will take your credit card information and use charge you full price even if you cancel in time! Also, read reviews.. there are better places in town with better portions, pricing and quality.
